3361  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Most Popular Crypto Casino & Sportsbook - Watford & UFC Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: January 09, 2022, 06:35:27 PM
During one of Eddie's stream sessions... he introduced the new "Challenges" option and he said that only certain people are granted privileges to start new "Challenges" ... so yes, not everyone can do it.

It would be nice if the HighRollers and the big tippers could get access to this function.... because it is better to earn your bonus..than simply getting a $1 or $2 rain or tip. (Also.. the challenge creator might get some benefit from this)  Wink
If everyone had a chance to start challenges, then they would be able to do ranging from few dollars to thousands of dollars and it would definitely see Stake doing better as well in return. I would imagine not spending a single dollar on a challenge and just letting customers create their own and just automate the results based on who did how and so forth (or even just hiring a few new staff to follow it up instead of automating) could end up with Stake getting a lot more attention.

Imagine if there were dozens of challenges every single day that you could check and decide which ones you want to do, that would make gambling so much better for many people that enjoys that kind of stuff.

Well, there must be some kind of criteria to determine who will be able to create challenges or random people will create 100's of $5 challenges and that will irritate most gamblers. That is why I think they should enable this for most High Rollers that meet some kind of wagering limit and also specify that you cannot create a challenge... if the reward is say smaller than $100.  Huh

In any way...... there has not been a significant increase in the challenges, since I posted this.. so nobody seem to care about this feature.  Roll Eyes
3362  Economy / Economics / Re: The crisis in Kazakhstan. Entering the occupation troops. Impact on the crypto on: January 09, 2022, 01:50:14 PM
I think you have to look at China and what happened when they banned Bitcoin mining to answer your question. The moment when the mainstream media started to distribute the news that China banned Bitcoin, the Bitcoin price dropped significantly ...but it recovered soon after that... because the world saw that a Bitcoin mining ban did not destroy Bitcoin mining.

You should remember that China had most of the hashing power in the world at the time, so the impact was supposed to be devastating. So, Bitcoin mining in Kazakhstan has +/- 15% of all the hashing power in the world.... and that is significantly lower than the hashing power that China had.

My prediction.... The Bitcoin price will take a small drop and it will bounce back.... and the miners in Kazakhstan will probably just move some of their operations to Bitcoin friendly countries.  Wink
3363  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: January 09, 2022, 12:05:11 PM
Even in my case there was a person whom I met in a Facebook group but never in real life and he introduced me to bitcoin.
I made a huge dive into the bitcoin world and here I am 5 years later living a decent life all thanks to that person and ofcourse bitcoin.

Freebitco.in is indeed a legendary gambling site. I think it's the only site I know which has been paying it's users free Satoshis all these years.
No strings attached and just free Satoshis. Truly a legend !!
I wish I got affiliates like you guys, mine usually leave, 99% of the time. I mean surely they stay for a few months at least but only like 1% of them stays active after they join until today, rest just leave unfortunately, and never really got any decent gambler out of it neither, just free faucet folk I assume.

All in all freebitco.in was something I loved doing affiliate work because of that exact reason, it is a great way to enter the world of crypto, you will get a small amount at first but do it for a whole month with like 12 times a day and you will end up with a decent amount and get out. After that you could invest that into some tokens, some new projects, or try to earn something from somewhere else to add on top of your current balance to grow. No matter what you do afterwards, it is amazing for a start and definitely offers a lot more if you keep going.

If we are talking about affiliates then my luck is same as yours. Even I am not so good at getting referrals.
Which ever referral I got was years ago and none of them are active. I have got 5 referrals in total and have earned 0.00015 BTC from them.
But as I said, all of them were years ago and none of them are active. I have even stopped sharing referral link now since nobody joins through referrals these days.

I share your experience.... I had some banners made to advertise my referral link on other platforms and I am not getting "active" hits anymore... because they signup and try the faucets a couple of times and then they stop using the site.  Roll Eyes

I should say that Freebitco.in should add more gambling games (Slots) to make it worth people's time to stay on the site. They decided to change their business model to a "gambling" site and have not done a full transition yet. (Adding Sports betting and Lotto etc.. is not 100% gambling)
3364  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a commodity market ? on: January 09, 2022, 10:07:25 AM
Well, most governments define Bitcoin and Crypto currencies as Commodities, because they want to protect their Fiat currencies from disruption. All other Fiat currencies can be traded as Commodities (Forex Currency markets) and the same goes for Bitcoin... so it is a Currency and it can be traded as a Commodity.  Wink

Satoshi just showed the world what will happen if it is only traded as a Commodity... which is not the route most of us wants this experiment to go. (It will be much better if it is a currency, because it will generate miners fees and that is the oil of the whole Bitcoin eco system)  Wink
3365  Bitcoin / Press / [2022-01-08] Mirror Trading International (scam) CEO Johann Steynberg got caught on: January 08, 2022, 08:00:13 PM
https://mybroadband.co.za/news/cryptocurrency/429388-how-mirror-trading-international-ceo-johann-steynberg-got-caught-and-what-happens-next.html

"MTI was a bitcoin-based investment scheme that Chainalysis named the biggest cryptocurrency scam of 2020."

"Steynberg went missing in December 2020, and the scheme collapsed. He was believed to be travelling in Brazil at the time."

Well, I hope they can retrieve some of the bitcoins that was stolen, because a lot of people lost money in that scam. I find it funny that these scammers think there are no extradition in these 3rd world countries and that they are safe there.  Grin Grin Grin
3366  Economy / Economics / Re: If the government loses control of the financial system, we have a fall back on: January 08, 2022, 06:47:39 PM
Well that is something that Robert Mugabe was saying about the Zimbabwean Dollar and we all know what happened with that Fiat currency.  Roll Eyes  People are more clever than most politicians think they are.... they will look for currencies with a store of value ..and dump their wealth into that.  Wink

You cannot run a country into the ground and expect your citizens to support a failing economy... people will do anything to protect their wealth and their hard earned income.  Wink
3367  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No..Craig Wright Was NOT Named Bitcoin's Creator on: January 08, 2022, 06:40:48 PM
Well, one thing that will be clear now ..is this. The Satoshi wannebe will not be able to pay the $100 million dollars that the court ordered him to pay. This is something that the real Satoshi would laugh at with the 1 000 000+ bitcoins he supposedly owns.... so come on Mr Craig Wright, show us the money! (Jerry Maguire voice)  Grin Grin Grin

Who will get suckered into paying for this snake oil salesman? Will his so-called following pay his debt... because that is one thing he will not get out of very easily.  Roll Eyes

So OP, tell me something..... Will "Tower" be the new PvP Multiplayer jackpot game that you promised us a while ago.. or just another Slot with a super low house edge?

The new changes looks good.... hoping to see a ton of new stuff in 2022... so good luck with the new developments. I love the way you actively interact with every person in this thread. Keep up the good work.  Wink
3369  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nayib Bukele prediction: 2 more countries will adopt Bitcoin as legal tender on: January 08, 2022, 11:57:10 AM
I kind of see El Salvador as the pilot project for Bitcoin and so far it's success exceeded my expectations, because I thought the first world countries will punish them for making that decision and that they would be forced to revise their decision. I know the IMF said that their loans to them will be jeopardized, but it did not faze their decision at all.  Grin

The question is.... which countries will follow them and what will happen once more and more countries decide to do this. (Will the pressure from first world countries intensify?)   Roll Eyes
3370  Economy / Economics / Re: U.S. Contemplating Isolating Russia from SWIFT Banking System on: January 07, 2022, 12:29:17 PM
I always thought SWIFT was just a large inter Bank accounting system. So instead of transferring small amounts ..every time when there are international transactions.... the Banks collect the data from all transactions being made and then collectively balance the books for all those transactions. (A type of reconciliation for International Bank Settlements)  Roll Eyes

Should this be the case.... then Russian businesses and Banks working with SWIFT will have to find other ways to transact with each other to do international transfers. (or alternatively transfer money to countries that are not being isolated/sanctioned)  Roll Eyes
3371  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Most Popular Crypto Casino & Sportsbook - Watford & UFC Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: January 07, 2022, 11:27:14 AM

This is my own speculation, based on my own theory. I have found that I win slightly more.. if I play Slots that are played by more people. I do not know if the same thing happens with ALL Slot providers, but when there are a challenge for some Slots... I tend to win more.

Slots like "Mount Magmas" was one of those Slots.. if the Jackpots was high, more people played it and I won more frequently on my base bets. The same goes for Red Tiger Slots when they are released... but it is not the same with all Slot providers. (I think some of them distribute all incoming wagers into one collective pool and not into individual Slots)

Test this with "New Releases" and Slots where challenges are running .... it is almost always higher than you older Slots that almost nobody are playing anymore.  Wink

Oh I got your point maybe our discussion is different it seems what you mean in terms of the jackpot which indeed continues to increase if played by many people
BTW I was trying to make a challenge but there is no way to do that maybe only a few people can make the challenge or have to go through admin approval.
Oh yeah I also saw 2 new challenges added since this discussion, seems to be getting some attention.

What happened with the Slot challenges? Caelum used to place a new Slot Challenge almost every day, but it has been weeks since he added new challenges. The only person adding new challenges are Eddie/EddieStream on Saturdays and most of those challenges does not last long.

Why not open up the Challenges to more people or getting the 3rd party Slot providers to sponsor some Challenges to boost it again? I enjoy hunting for these challenges and now nobody are adding new ones.  Cry

Yes challenges are not as active as usual I often check for new slots there, usually I wait for challenges from Playngo and Hacksaw providers sadly no more
I think the challenge went unnoticed by them maybe we should remind Eddie during the live next week because he is the most active adding new challenges

asking other users to open new challenges doesn't make sense because there is no advantage for them, different from challenges on other sites because it offers challenges for its referrals.

I have to disagree with you on one thing.... "Users" might get a little advantage if they start a new Challenge.  Wink  In theory, if a challenge are started by someone.. more players are playing that specific Slot and that will increase the influx of money into that Slot.

So the more money pushed into that Slot, should in theory increase the probability that it would pay out more. (We see that in the Red Tiger Jackpot Slots)

So if a highroller wants to increase his returns on a specific Slot, he simply has to start a new challenge to increase the money flowing into that Slot.  Huh

So you mean the more users play the slot challenge the prizepool increases or something ?  let's say I create a new challenge for Playngo provider, what benefits do I get as a challenge maker, while I have to pay a reward for anyone who reaches the target, right?

On other sites call it Ro*****  I can create special challenges for users who use my promotional code so I automatically get income from referral bonuses.

This is my own speculation, based on my own theory. I have found that I win slightly more.. if I play Slots that are played by more people. I do not know if the same thing happens with ALL Slot providers, but when there are a challenge for some Slots... I tend to win more.

3374  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sending Bitcoin through radio waves? on: January 07, 2022, 06:42:27 AM
Well, in most countries radio frequencies are regulated and restricted within specific broadcast channels. So you might find that the governments might "block" certain frequencies ...if it is circumventing their authority to restrict it's use.

They might change the regulations to stipulate that specific frequencies might only be used for communication and not for data transfer or something like that, to criminalize the use of these technologies to be used for Bitcoin transfers.  Roll Eyes

I can still send a verbal coded message with a private key to someone to give them access to coins that I transferred to a specific address. (previously funded address)
3375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Could Gambling Legalization be a positive thing for Brazil? on: January 06, 2022, 03:22:48 PM
The general consensus seems to be that the legalization of gambling in a country seems to be negative, but there are a few positive things too that need to be considered. In my country legal lotteries donate a LOT of money to charities and Sport development, so it is a bonus to some people that might benefit from that.

The taxes boost the service delivery in areas where there are no water and electricity and it funds large infrastructure projects. So it helps to stimulate growth and economic development. The down side is the gambling addiction ..but that can be managed within a legal framework.  Wink
3376  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't bet more than you can afford to lose. on: January 06, 2022, 11:44:36 AM
It all completely depends on how much your monthly expenses are. After your rent, your bills, food, etc are taken care of, then how much is left. After that, did you contribute to your retirement plan? Are you on track to meet your retirement goals? Only then can this question be answered. It’s as simple as that.

A lot of people in 1st world countries do not care about retirement plans and even care about their future, because they know the government will provide for them, if they reach an old age. Some of these countries have social grants that will pay them from other tax payers contributions  and they even pay for their health care.  Roll Eyes

People should not gamble, if they cannot afford any of their daily needs.... period!  Go to the chat channels on these gambling sites and just see what some of these people post... it is scary what people do to gamble.  Angry

Well.. well, I was pleasantly amazed that a casino would give gambling advice and also tell people not to gamble when they are inebriated. Also giving people good responsible gambling habits that would prevent total losses and negativity... is very refreshing.

People should know when to stop... and as the article says... even if you are on a winning streak and you have won a lot of money, then you should quit while you are ahead. ( I saw a popular Streamer playing at another casino ..and he won millions.... a day or two after that.. he lost all of it.)  Tongue
3379  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Billionaire Chamath Palihapitiya says Visa / Mastercard biggest failures 2022 on: January 04, 2022, 06:31:36 PM
The Defi platforms and other Alt coins will mostly turn scam.... and on that I will agree. VISA and MasterCard is just too big and they will hire their own developers to develop something that will prevent a disruption of their business. (Governments will also use legislation to protect these large companies that are backed by Banks)  Roll Eyes

I will much rather focus on the new innovative platforms that are targeting the remittance market .. because one or two of those project might just be the one that goes through the roof.  (Bitcoin can do all that, but most governments are scared of the Bitcoin reputation)
3380  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Andreas Antonopoulos says to stop using paper wallets, do you agree? on: January 04, 2022, 05:28:12 PM
Well, I have been using Paper wallets for years now... and I think if you know what you are doing, then all will be fine. I do not store large
amounts of coins on Paper wallets... but I divided them onto many wallets.  Wink

I actually have several hardware wallets and I can tell you with all honesty that I prefer using my laminated Paper wallets ..over any of my hardware wallets. (Hardware wallets are just easier.. if you want to use some of your coins .....because you do not have to sweep coins onto hot wallets.. if you want to use them)  Wink
