3361  Other / Meta / Re: Understanding Service Section rule. on: April 17, 2021, 11:49:11 PM
The dev wanted to have an altcoin campaign but I literally forced them to have a portion in bitcoin so that I can assure at-least a portion that is getting paid to the members. That was the plan for having 20% in bitcoin and 80% in their native token.

I just wished that all the managers think in this way or there is some rule that you can't post a bounty thread unless there is some payment in bitcoin.
Starting a campaign/bounty by paying only in their native token which is not yet on the exchange or dex , cost the company nothing and its just a free advertisement.
Little off-topic but Bounty hunters don't care where the thread is listed, they only care if they could get something real in return of their work.

3363  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you limit your gambling time? on: April 17, 2021, 10:24:05 AM
I'm in crypto gambling world, it's more than four years. Time to time there was changes in my gambling activity. Firstly, I started it for fun purpose and never took it seriously. But at some point I got addicted to gambling. Spend a lot of time daily and didn't manage my fund properly. Though I never took money from other people to do gamble. But those days are gone. I took a break from gambling for few months (at the first quarter of 2020) and after that I gained control over my gambling habit. No one helped me to get out of this situation, I myself controlled it and nowadays I have fun from gambling.
It's good that you are out of the problem now and even better is that you didn't require any help from someone else either.

I had a similar story back in the day when Primedice was the only betting site, I have to admit that I was quite addicted and would continue playing for extended periods without realizing that I am missing out on important tasks in real life. I used to skip my office and would make some excuse to my boss about not being able to attend meetings. But this was only until one day I lost a massive amount and thankfully that turned out to be the turning point for me and I haven't gambled too much since then at all. I gamble occasionally but I know what I am doing, and is meant for fun most importantly now.
This is what we should be aware of, I have said several times about a gambling addict who does not need other people and drugs to get out of his addiction, because what can help him from gambling addiction is his awareness of himself.

I personally don't limit myself to gambling, if I can still do it then I just do it, for now I will still do it with a more mature consideration than before. Indeed, in gambling even though it has been carefully prepared, it does not guarantee that we can continue to win at gambling, because the results of losing and winning will still involve luck in it.

Its hard to limit ourselves to gambling if we are addicted to it. If i want to limit myself, i put a limit on the funds allocated for gambling. This way if my allocated funds got exhausted then i have to quit gambling for that particular week. I think this is a best way to stop losing money in gambling if you're an addict to it.
3364  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk stop messing up the crypto market on: April 17, 2021, 09:57:10 AM
Am I the only one who finds his tweets and market manipulation annoying?

A lot of newbies falling into the trap unfortunately. BTC is strong and won't be affected too much but Dogecoin is just increasing its pump and dump reputation. Sad.

We cannot control anyone to stop promoting any coins. The famous people have the influence to move the market in their favor. I am sure that elon musk have gathered a lot of dogecoins and he is taking profits on every pump. We cannot stop elon musk from doing this but we can stop investing in dogecoin if we feel that this is a shit coin.
3365  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Decentralized exchanges on: April 17, 2021, 06:10:18 AM
Can you explain how these three exchanges are decentralized ?
Bisq is the most decentralized platform there is. There is no centralized website you must use. Instead, much like bitcoin itself, you download open source software, run it locally, and connect directly to other users over Tor. The escrow is a 2-of-2 multisig between buyer and seller, and so Bisq never has control over your coins. There are no central wallets to deposit to. There is no KYC or personal data required.

As pooya87 has explained above, sites like UniSwap are not decentralized exchanges; they are token swappers. It is trivial to swap two tokens on the same blockchain in a non-custodial manner. True DEXs support bitcoin and fiat.

I didn't knew these details about the Bisq but now i will give it a try and share my experience.
Also many people including me thought that DEX likes Uniswap are the decentralized exchanges but they are just the token swappers. If they had the order books with other features like stop limit etc, then we may call them decentralized exchanges ? (although bitcoin cant be on these exchanges as only these only run on the ethererum or BSC chain).
3366  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trans woman joins women football league on: April 17, 2021, 05:43:22 AM
is it a bigoted Idea to think that it is unfair allowing a trans woman to compete on women category of a sport?
No, I don't think so.
We would expect trans women to dominate women's sports if they are allowed to participate.
If the trans are proven to carry men's physical traits, they should compete in men's league, or better, create their own trans league.

Trans woman doesn't fit both in the men's team and the women team. If they play in women team , they will have more power than the women who are actually playing and it will be disadvantage for the other team. If they play in men's team, then they will not feel comfortable among men depending upon the sports.
We cant have separate tournaments for transgender because they are few in number and not all of them are in the sports.
3367  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance.us market exchange just crashed!!! on: April 17, 2021, 12:28:34 AM
....aaand a few minutes later the exchange started working again. that was really weird

This is nothing new with binance as it always held when there is a lot of trading or traffic on the site. The only good thing is that the site always update you on the twitter if they are facing such issues. If you are trading on binance, you should be comforatable with these temporary issues in the site else you can shift to any other exchange.

3368  Other / Politics & Society / Re: vaccine campaigns ‘will be used for massive-scale depopulation: Former Pfizer VP on: April 17, 2021, 12:07:43 AM
There are talks by professionals in medicine here and there, that show that the vaccine will produce sterility in those receiving it. The ability to have fun with the sex act will still be there. But the ability to get pregnant will be gone.

But we won't have it proven to us until the next baby-boom doesn't happen.

Cool

So in general covid-19 was invented to reduce the world population. Those who left alive are forced to take the vaccine which may kill you and they will have the excuse that it was only the side effect of the newly developed vaccine. Finally those brave who survive from both covid19 and vaccine, won't be able to produce babies. So all this is done to control the world population.

The big question now, who is the beneficiary of all this ?  Who will get most benefit if the world population is reduced ?
3369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH and BSC on: April 16, 2021, 11:48:03 PM
It defintely will crash and burn. Okay at least crash an never revisit those highs, remeber that we have has similar situations with bitcoin cash and btc.. the eth fees will go down and the bsc will lose its relavency.
It seems that the BSC will not just disappear when ETH costs have decreased and stabilized at a low rate, because they are basically on a different path so that investors and new project developers can make the choice of which one they will choose for their business.

I have emphasized enough that not only both Ethereum and BSC are here to stay but we will see other chains like DOT and ADA to be the part of smart contracts. All of them will co-exists which will be good for the overall crypto community. All chains have some advantages and disadvantages but they will continue to improve in order to take lead over the other.
3370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFT are making more sense on: April 16, 2021, 06:26:34 PM
Don't know if the NFTs are only made to collect money. See some examples of NFTs below.

3371  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for a Campaign Manger on: April 16, 2021, 06:16:13 PM
Hello Everyone, I am looking for an campaign manger, for an Bitcointalk campaign on twitter/facebook followers advertising payment.

Is that the secondstrade you want to promote? I'm assuming that is because your wearing that sig and I remember that epic campaign before.

So for that take the service of Hhampuzz he is the ideal person who can handle this job. Visit his link provided by the users and for sure others will recommended him to since he have so many successful campaigns handle here.

I do remember the secondstrade campaign in 2016 and early 2017 and it was one of the popular campaign at that time. I wonder if we are again going to see this campaign in action ?

For better results, OP should hire either Hhampuz or CryptopreneurBrainboss as they have experience of managing long lasting campaigns.
3372  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Elon musk 5000 BTC give away scam ad on: April 16, 2021, 06:01:17 PM
I almost bite on this kind of giveaways before and I’ll never forget that experience.
Youtube team might be too busy to check all the ads with regards to cryptocurrency, I wonder how this things happened knowing that they have a strict compliance on their advertisements.

This should be reported, and hopefully address the issues as soon as possible  because many greedy newbies can become a victim. Social platforms becomes a place for scammers/hackers to get easy money, we have to be more careful on everything we see online.

Perhaps this is another reason why we see many crypto related channels getting banned these days ?  Because they think that the crypto related channels mostly spreading news about the bounty and airdrops which are fake.
I don't agree that youtube can't filter out the obvious scam ads like this one, with so much filters in place, they should be able to keep the scam ads out of their advertisements.
3373  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 12, 2021, 06:09:18 PM

Sadly, the bitcoin only have a face and does not have a body.  Tongue

Still i love bitcoin more than anything  Smiley
3374  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Decentralized exchanges on: April 11, 2021, 06:26:38 AM

1. Bsiq

2. ViteX

3. Nash

For people that are not trading often, decentralized exchanges are the best for privacy. No KYC needed, if no kyc needed, nothing like data leak. We must protect ourselves online.

Can you explain how these three exchanges are decentralized ?  If we want to trade on these exchanges don't we have to transfer our funds to the exchange ? If yes, then they are centralized exchanges.
The real decentralized exchanges are UniSwap, 1inch, pancakeswap etc where we connect metamask to trade and do not transfer funds to the exchanges.
3375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be a Responsible Gambler on: April 11, 2021, 06:06:19 AM
In minutes, you've lost a lot. That's insane. I was even feeling bad when I've sold bitcoins too early but I still got the cash but yours is worse. Thank you for sharing your experience and this will serve as a warning for others that can't control themselves. You've learned the lesson in an expensive way but I'm sure that you'll be able to pay your debt and you only have to focus with your goal and don't accompany it with gambling.

Gambling is really risky and certainly not a profit making opportunity. If the OP would have kept $2500 in the trading platform, he might have gained some good profit in trading and eventually covered his debt, but instead he opted for a short cut way of gambling which was way to risky. Feel sorry for him. Everyone should learn some lesson from his bad experience in gambling.
3376  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think that a new ATH is coming or a crash? on: April 11, 2021, 05:51:11 AM
We are in due for a crash ever since bitcoin crossed All time high at 20,000$ but luckily there is no big crash till now.  Smiley Since there are too many institutions involved now, i don't think the will sell their bitcoin and create an artificial crash. Perhaps we are heading towards 100,000$ and then expect a 50% pull back, but it is not confirmed. For now, just follow the trend and do not short the bitcoin.
3377  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do ordinary people feel afraid of Bitcoin? on: April 11, 2021, 05:25:30 AM
Most people who are afraid of Bitcoin lacks knowledge to what Bitcoin really is all about. They just assume it is something negative where in fact it is supposed to make their life easier. I know someone very close to me who resents Bitcoin, and when I ask him what was his reason for not liking Bitcoin; he just said it’s like gambling your money and he doesn’t like gambling. And he doesn’t want to use it if ever it’ll be legalize and all. But I did try to educate him about it, sad thing is that he refused to learn the basics and purpose of Bitcoin.

Many people do not know what exactly is bitcoin. They think it is some sort of ponzi scheme in which if they invest they will lose the money . People should get some knowledge about Bitcoin before assuming these things by themselves. I am so those people who have negative thinking about Bitcoin they do not have the right knowledge.
3378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain Centralised on: April 11, 2021, 05:13:58 AM
I'm just trying to understand why people say Ethereum blockchain is decentralised.
Who decides when and how EIP1559 is implemented? When to implement Eth2, etc.
Isn't it just a small group of people controlling it?

Vitalik surely have some influence on the Ethereum Foundation but that does not mean that it is centralized. If you can see in etherscan, there are currently over 6000 + unique Ethereum nodes which are  spread everywhere in the world. For this reason, Vitalik can't control the price and no one can stop this ethereum chain and hence it is considered as decentralized.
3379  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You won today, but then you will lose often on: April 11, 2021, 04:40:03 AM
Hello to all! Another topic about casinos and games. I started playing at THIS CASINO quite often. At the very beginning I thought I would just play in the evening, but one evening turned into a constant game during the day. On the first deposit, I was lucky and I took out a little, it was x3 of my deposit and I was happy. Recently, I just started making stupid deposits and trying to win something and I understand that this is self-deception, but I cannot stop and make more and more deposits. I decided to make the 1st level of VIP, but for this I need to make a turnover of 10k dollars, but I am a player with low stakes and this is difficult for me to do. You seem to understand everything that you will lose, but you go to play again. How to get rid of gambling addiction?

It happens often that you will win some games in gambling and think you are now expert and can win every game. Then you start to lose but you keep on playing because of the self confidence and addiction. Ultimate not only you lose all of your profit but also the seed money. I have seen people spending money in gambling which they had saved for years and losing everything. If you can't control emotions in gambling, then gambling is not for you.
3380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will Binance be the next Ethereum? on: April 11, 2021, 04:20:34 AM
Honestly, Binance and Cardano have a lot of advantages when compared to ETH. Eth however is in another stage

Ethereum has a vast eco system and both Bsc and Ada are not even close to it. Ada also do not have any smart contract live on the chain yet. Bsc is gaining popularity but i am waiting for the Eth 2.0 update and how it will effect the ethereum chain. Once that update is out, ethereum may again outperform other chains who are try to compete it.
