Thanks, I'd say that is usually a good advice. However I want to be as stealth as possible in accumulating, so I rather try avoiding to contact anyone official. And I assume they would point me to an exchange anyway, since the coin is already listed for years.

Well why not create a thread and state your intention about buying some particular coin which you think beneficial to you since I think this is the only way to buy without touching anything on orderbook. And maybe there are hodler out there will sell off their coins since as you said it have a zero daily volume and it's somehow a good exit for bag holders if you buy those coin from them.
3362  Economy / Speculation / Re: Three weeks to the year end - what will be the high? on: December 16, 2020, 01:03:13 PM
$ 19,500- $ 20,000 which I chose at the end of the year and at the beginning of the year, and bitcoin price is currently over $ 19,700 and it only takes another $ 300 to get there which I think is very easy.
Even if there is a correction or decline in my opinion the price will remain or tend to be $ 19,000, and only my prediction is not necessarily correct, and I have to remain vigilant because bitcoin prices can suddenly reverse.

We are few jump ahead to reach the another historical record and might we can see those reached maybe tomorrow or in upcoming days, we are now at $19,743 which is lacking for $257  so that the $20,000 projected price will be reached and If that figures will be gotten by this year provably we can see more good shape next year.
3363  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PornHub on: December 16, 2020, 10:12:54 AM
Porn hub one of the leading porn site has now set crypto currency as a default payment method for there premium subscription.

Honestly this might become a historical moment in cryptocurrency adoption.

Mindgeek, the company that owns Porn hub and many other sites and even it owns Brazzers,so just imagine if all these sites start accepting crypto currency.

Porn really drove the internet into the big deal that it is today, and now we're potentially looking at porn driving another technology along.

https://m.imgur.com/a/2LxQI5D

They had been accepting Bitcoin or crypto payments for a while now and it seems you are late into this news.Adoption is on the move and theres no doubt to that
where several big industries had decide to adopt bitcoin and other alts as well into their payment. The question is, would these porn viewers would tend to make
use of their precious coins on watching porn or getting some premium if they can actually make use of their typical card or even just watching for
free online with lots of them? Its not really worth to be spent imho.

See this news for quite while but the hype regarding on the adoption of pornhub didn't create a long term effect on bitcoins since those news has been gone easily and replace by the other hypes and rotate with this industry, but since we are in good form then its good to list those up as a good adoption made since it could add the confidence of the people who just newly joined here.
3364  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reminder - High Bitcoin price = Higher than normal scam & hack activities! on: December 16, 2020, 08:51:50 AM
Can we just do a survey on the rate of scams and hacks that happened between 2017 and 2020 as the year bitcoin price shows bullish behaviour, so we confirm how true your topic is because news on scam and hacks happened every year and every moments.
In addition to what op has laid out, I think not only high movement of price but also new fund raising system by new upcoming projects, this also determine the rate of scams and hacks happening in the cryptocurrency space giving them the opportunity to scam new inexperience investors.
I think we don't need to have a survey though, and I would say that today's bullishness is ample enough for scammers to up their game and create a simple to elaborate to trick newbies into giving them there hard earn money. 2017 was pure scams based on exit scam projects, while 2020, Defi hacks and many fake and phishing sites, from Elon Musk to Vitalik Buterin's face, to Youtube scams.
Survey can help newbies to determine the severity of scams happened from 2017 until today but this need a lot of research since there are so many of those event needed to be listed so that no information will be missed, this will eat a lot of time and effort so I think if someone will create a surveys but I think the informations from ICO scams to DEFI and other things you mentioned are just here.

3366  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for Escrow Service! on: December 15, 2020, 11:08:29 PM
Hey there,

I am looking for some advice

I want to sell some of my Bitcoins in return of USD 12,000 .

And I need a trustee or an Escrow service for this trade.

The impartial Escrow Service should not pay out the bitcoins until the consideration has been met or no dispute has been filed.

I found this, but it has become really old.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=108716.280

Does anyone know an Bitcoin Escrow service?

Thanks so much for your help!

That's huge amount to be trusted on certain users here so I guess you should trust those amount on old reputable members here, try to contact minerjones and ask if he still do a escrow service since so far he is the most ideal guy to do this job and also your second option here is Sebastianju since he is also one of the trusted escrow here. So try your luck to give a shot and don't pick any low key users here.
3367  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Increasing Bitcoin Ads : Mass adoption ongoing on: December 15, 2020, 01:11:27 PM
you are right, not only in london, we saw a few weeks ago in the city where i work which is in the netherlands. glimpsed while driving a car that there was a large company at the gate displaying various advertisements about bitcoin.
this is amazing isn't it?
How come, bitcoin is no longer as mysterious as 2016, now various countries are ready to welcome bitcoin in the coming year.
It really is amazing, I hope that I can see this ads in my country although it will be far from it because a lot of crypto and bitcoin related scams are plaguing the public, there is a group that I am in that is covering jobs and hiring that is plagued with bots that promote scams and such, hopefully there is a few to none that will fall for this scams. Thanks to start ups and companies around the world that bitcoin will be getting a good PR.

Never see something like that or any company placing se ads on bitcoin, hopefully there's a big one will step up and introduce it to major crowds around my area. But the one I keep looking forward is the advertisement on TV ADS since by this provably we can get more attention from more merchants and more people who want to seek some new form of investment.
3368  Economy / Economics / Re: which will u choose to buy on: December 15, 2020, 10:04:41 AM
what are you gonna do if u have millions dollars of cash ? are  you  gonna spend it all for ferrari high class car or invest bitcoin for survive ?

What will you do with a ferrari? drive it on city enjoy while its new and when its outdated the value will depreciate? I think not since this is not advisable and wise decision to do there so many things we need to consider and that is our daily survival, Maybe I will spend the half on bitcoin and the other is for offline business venture to assure that my money will not get lost and continuously grow even if the other is at high risk investment.
3369  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitcoinPlay.org – Bitcoin Gambling Directory on: December 15, 2020, 08:43:56 AM
As long as you don't have 1xbit on your site, I don't think it will be a problem. Then the website will increase in popularity.

Unfortunately 1xbit is there but I'm not so surprised because 1xbit will always be on most review sites as 1xbit usually offer something to the admin of the review site to get their site listed. This is why we will always see 1xbit out there in the internet. Most review sites list 1xbit as one of the most trusted online casino because of the special offer given to the admin/owner of the review site.

Paying with good amount of money is for sure one of the biggest reason on why 1xbit still place on top spot on those reviewing sites, that's why I don't trust them and never look for any reviewing site for getting a feedback on their operation as well with their reputation. That's why its advisable to anyone to go hear and look for feedback if they have casino to inquire and needed to seek for information since many users here will answer about their experiences and knowledge.
3370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The biggest 10 countries that gamble the most. on: December 14, 2020, 11:06:36 PM
Yes, in my opinion there is a good side and a bad side, in some countries gambling are prohibited and the user can even be arrested, on the other hand gambling can help the country's economy to develop and attract tourists, for example Las Vegas

Gambling can only help the economy if the owner will legalize their business and submit all necessary requirements to get a license as well pay all the taxes without doing any illegalities when it comes in their obligations to the government. But what if she other greedy businessmen who didn't comply those important things and all pay corrupt politician as a bribe for their protection do you think it's beneficial to the countries economy?
3371  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Adult companies and bitcoin? on: December 14, 2020, 12:09:55 PM
Regarding the recent update of pornhub. That demands users not to re-upload porn and left some users and investors checking which side of the adult sites will be profitable. VISA and Mastercard stopped their contract with porn hub for reasons I don't know much about. But recently Pornhub integrated bitcoin as their payment method. https://ibb.co/fNCL98R and I ask it could be sooner or later until other porn sites or companies take steps like pornhub did. What do you think will happen to cryptocurrency? this can bring a bull run into the market?

If small percentage will use bitcoin for their transaction on adult sites then maybe this will not give a huge impact although its a great addition since it can make the bitcoin rotate due to its transaction. But maybe we can assume that there will be a bull run will came if many big companies come together with huge strong support of the whales then from this maybe we can trigger that to happen.
3372  Economy / Economics / Re: Our new economic model could be defi on: December 14, 2020, 11:01:24 AM
Your topic and the epistle you typed on it are erroneously passed, fiat is greater than Defi. You just want to pass a beautiful message but you lack basic comprehension, Defi are almost scam, fiat has a lot of value in econometrics than Defi.

It's not only about its value. You can see only the USA economy is worth over 22 trillion dollars and the whole crypto market worth about 560 Billion dollars. Right now fiat is stronger than DeFi but it won't be this why if crypto market growth stays the same. DeFi offers something greater than the traditional banking system can. So I can only assume a bright future of DeFi space.

For now the offers of DEFI is great but for what I see is different from it's real intention many scamming happened on DEFI right now and looks like it will go the same path of ICO before that's why I don't trust those things right now and never got an interest about it. So maybe I will go or trust more the traditional banking for now since there's no convincing things happened yet on my side on DEFI things.
3373  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 play&invest BTC ETH LTC DOGE on: December 14, 2020, 08:44:26 AM
We have already talked about the simple fact that house edge is house edge and there is no way we could change that, you could have as many accounts or do as many cheeky stuff as you want and in the end we all lose money because of house edge. That house edge manages to make it mathematically impossible for all of us to lose money when we gamble long enough, if we keep constantly grinding and grinding, we will end up with losing a lot of money and that is the end of the story, no other way available.

However if you really want to gamble and win, the only method would be short bursts, like go in there, gamble all, win and leave. If you leave while you are ahead and not gamble again, you may actually end up profiting but that is the only way you could profit.
Well, with multiple accounts and against house edge results could be profit or loss, and if it is loss that is bad but if it is profit you get something, here you get something even if you lose which is great.

However how would you plan on trying to stop people from gambling with very very low odds of losing, like 90%+ chance, even as far as 99% if it is there (don't remember what the max was) and betting very small amounts and just leave it to automatic. That should probably give them a huge wagering amount without really losing too much money neither, it is still the same amount of money lost in the end, you will lose it all in the end, but it also allows them to wager more money before they end up losing it all.

What's good on having multiple accounts when you can have all that money betting in one account? You won't really have an advantage at all when you are betting with multiple accounts I don't see some kind of chance increasing in your way with you doing that. If where you are gambling is they have a edge then it will be guaranteed that house edge will be experienced by all of the accounts you are using.

If we are joining on wagered contest then it's useless to have a multiple account since we can't win if we put a split deposit in each account, but in some other contest which doesn't need to place anything then there's an advantage of it especially if we are on lottery type of contest.

But maybe as you said as for the safety of our funds we should focus on 1 account by joining on different kind of contest to avoid any big issues.
3374  Economy / Speculation / Re: Three weeks to the year end - what will be the high? on: December 13, 2020, 12:21:12 PM
I voted for $20k and above, I still have the gut feeling, based on previous December year-end, that we have somewhat had a good chance to a sudden spike just before Christmas or right after New Year. And with the bullish sentiments and the greed index still very high, I 'm seeing $20k-$21k tops at the end of the year.

Although I voted for $19,500-$2000 but still I'm hoping to see a price more than that for this year but since the market is acting strange right now maybe we will end up on the figures I voted since we need also consider things beyond happenings on the market. Maybe next week I will think about selling since to settle enough and enjoy the season.
3375  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Panahon Na Nga Ba Maging "Cashless Society" ang Pilipinas? on: December 13, 2020, 10:54:31 AM
Maganda sana itong panukala na ito isang malaking pagbabago at mapapabilis lahat ng transaction, subalit meron akong mga nakikitang mga bagay na maaring pumigil dito at ito ay anga mga sumusunod:

  • Fee's or bayad sa transaction

3376  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: can i find an investor here for a startup? on: December 13, 2020, 09:27:42 AM
The challenge about raising fund in this space is trust, trust in the team to make profit on the investment and fund wont be stolen. The size of the amount is not important as the team and idea, ICO cost a lot with the trust issue and many coin never made exchange till date.IEO reduces research into projects as long as a trusted exchange is putting it up,so investors can easily buy with the opportunity to trade any time.

Trust is the most important thing which is hard to get in this space since there are more scammers scattered here than honest person that's why many are skeptical if someone ask for fundings especially if the newbie users ask that one, also the size of amount is really important since we really need to know since this is the critical things shown since by here we can determine if the threshold achieve can really be enough to run the operation for long term or not since the investors will get compensated if the amount accumulated got short and it can compromised the whole thing.

But this thing is rare occasion only since so far I don't see any legit company who ask for funds and using newbie accounts since mostly the one who do this are scammers.
3377  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🏆⚽ Adkinsbet.com | Sports | In-Play | ESports | Racebook | Virtual Sports | ⚽🏆 on: December 11, 2020, 11:07:02 PM
I do prefer real money currency the first reason was just like what some users said it's more stable rather than the cryptocurrency second thing is that in Adkinsbet if your currency is in mbtc the minimum bet is 1mbtc but if it's real money currency it's $1, €1 am I right?

It depends on the user well for me I should go with mBTC since the price was volatile my money will increase and decrease too fast but someone preferred to have it in fiat currency so it's much more stable so I really think it depends on the user what could be his preference.

We are here because we prefer to bet in cryptocurrency although we can choose to use the stable coins as alternative to avoid any unstable movement, but I prefer to bet using btc since as you said I want to risk with the it's volatility since imagine how big you can get when the market price goes up and you win some big volume of bits in casino you play it's double win if this scenario came.

Well if the scenario was opposite well it's a double loss but based on the market as of now I don't think that the price will goes down more (let's hope so) so I think mbtc is much better but if you we can see that the price is continuously dropping I think we can change it to real currency but that would be hassle since you need to email the adkinsbet first everytime you wanted to change the currency.

That's how we take the risk for btc bet and there's no double lose in our side if the market goes red since in fact if we lose on our bets then how come we lose in value to? Maybe if we win but still the damage created by the market stressed out will be minimized by our winnings but once it recovers then we can gain our profits again. So better deposit what you prefer so that you will not came to the point to email the support to change anything.

3379  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: ?Making a my profile(Identity) public to use for crypto related jobs? on: December 11, 2020, 09:59:54 AM
It's been a while since I join campaigns I was deciding to widen up my source of income since I am now in college and learn a few kinds of stuff that I can use relating to a project that is advertised mostly here and on other social media platforms plus I got online classes so my work is smooth.

I was thinking of creating a profile showing up my name and face and where I can show samples of my work but I am afraid to because many people really into making projects and turn it into a scam and may use my face or profile.

My question

Do you think it's okay to create a profile not showing my real Identity just a name? and just my few works will the client trust me? A website with only my name and a few works/ skills that I am good at.

Do I need to show my face and real name when it comes to offering services? (not just doing those campaigns).

Follow up question to the people Who did jobs like coding (many more not just coding)

for working with the client's projects did you show your real Identity? or is it okay that not to show? and any suggestions for a newbie who will offer more services Smiley.

I suggest not to do it men since if you show your public profile the scammers will provably use that for their illegal activities, just provide your portfolio if you have on what task have you been down since credentials are more better and convincing rather than posting your personal profile here.

So create a spreadsheet or anything where you can put your past work then show it to your potential clients since for sure legit clients will not ask your profile since the one they ask first is if  your skilled enough to do the job.

Its easy to recognize if we look closely to the url but it can deceive  those users who use google  search and didn't pay close attention to the link they are clicking to. And this kind of warning posted here is a good warning for users who almost  forgot to check the site they mostly visit since  these phising site are just here waiting for the victims to locate and victimized them.
