3361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The goodness of long-term investing in cryptocurrency on: December 08, 2022, 09:56:36 AM
Long-term is ideal with most but short terms are more likely with the newbies because they're at the learning stage and after experiencing it, they'll summarize and have a conclusion that long-term investments are really the best choice.
Yeah, it's not a risk-free strategy but you're able to mitigate the risk and you can mend some of your losses depending on how you'll react to the market based on what it is currently showing. Needless to say, on a personal note, long-term did me well and thought me how to become disciplined in investments.
Newbies due to their lack of knowledge prefer short term trading over long term investing, and they have this preference because of the higher profits they can supposedly get by trading, but what they choose to ignore is that only a very small minority of traders get those profits while the rest get losses, and it is not until they begin to lose money they realize their mistake and then they try to switch to long term investing,
Yeah, they think of the market as a short term market only so they want to extract as much as they can with as soon as possible mindset. They think that the market is going nowhere so if there's a chance that they can make money from it, they want to take the advantage of having that mindset of being short term on it.

however after losing so much money when trading the markets it is difficult for them to hold their coins for long enough to get profits in this market.
It's because they're panicking and they're still at the beginning that they need to gain more experience so, they know what's happening in the market and it's going to recover soon.
3362  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Day Trading on: December 08, 2022, 08:34:55 AM
In your thought, it may not be the case of doing 20x-50x of leverage while being a newbie. Well, the learning is there but you need to gradually do the process.
It's good that you're enjoying the learning process because that's not going to make you tired looking at your losses because that's common for a beginner.

3364  Local / Pilipinas / Re: USE CASES DPAT NG BLOCKCHAIN TECH AND CRYPTO on: December 08, 2022, 01:56:40 AM
3365  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity Philippine Thread on: December 08, 2022, 12:42:49 AM
Di natin alam yung pwede mangyari sa future pero I'm hoping na kahit isang bull market lang ulit itagal nila is ok nako since mag liliquidate nako ng assets by that time for sure haha.

3366  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What should be my fear? on: December 07, 2022, 11:24:59 PM
People look only when the price is falling but don't look at the opportunity that it is bringing for everyone. And when this time is done, they'll be missing it again sharing how frustrated they are and regretful about not purchasing when we're telling them so.
That's really scarier when it's on the news that bitcoin has already reached 6 digits and they didn't even hold even a few satoshis of it.

That's right, there are people who have fears about buying now because the price might
go down but they fail to realise the price will go up.

There are people who need proof to counter their fears and so will buy when the price
goes close to the ATH then realise they shouldn't have been so consumed by their
fears at $17k.
It will be a long discussion for them if they're going to look for proof but that's a typical thing just to be sure. But if they don't do any action after being shown some good analysis and thoughts of how it's going to be up later on then it's on them.
Whether they buy or not, they listen or not, the market can't be countered and it's bound to be up again and we shall see that bitcoin is going to soar high again.
3367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A single alt coin which gives you profit multiple times? on: December 07, 2022, 10:55:59 PM
It was amazing ride with Ethereum from me. I actually hold a couple of it and all I can say that was truly amazing experience since it's one of the cryptos that I've contributed a ton with cash as well as with my feelings.Ethereum which has given me a decent benefit various times.I've taken in the significance of getting it while the cost is down. From that point on, I never pass up on the potential chance to purchase during the plunge so I'll have a decent increase each time the market.
I'm sure that many of us got into that with Ethereum. The crazy thing is that we've never thought that it would be as high as it was last year. One missed opportunity that I got was when I haven't sold the BCH at its prime and peak. Held it for quite a while but has to sell it and still that's free money for me, that could be included aside from that fork, it has another fork which is the SV so I guess I've earned multiple times from it, couple of times actually.
3368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I Am So Done With Betting Until.... on: December 07, 2022, 10:32:28 PM
So sad to hear about this that your all money gone really this is too much bad. You are not one who gone all money but many big gamblers have lost their money in this match. There is less chance Saudia Arabia won this match and great chances Argentina won this match. But unfortunately Saudia Arabia won and also lot of gamblers lose their in one match.
It was unexpected but already happened. Too many have thought that the game was actually for Argentina but then we all have to move on.
I wonder what fivestar is feeling right now if he's already able to move and still catches up with the matches that the World Cup has. Maybe looking at the fan side but not in the bettor side.
3369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The goodness of long-term investing in cryptocurrency on: December 07, 2022, 09:58:28 PM
I do agree with how long-term investment is better for the vast majority of people, especially new ones, if you're capable enough then taking the risks of short-term investments instead would probably prove to be the best. Not to mention that long-term investments have a different type of risk compared to short-term ones, wouldn't really call it less risky but rather there's just more time for you to manage your portfolio since it's for the long term.
Long-term is ideal with most but short terms are more likely with the newbies because they're at the learning stage and after experiencing it, they'll summarize and have a conclusion that long-term investments are really the best choice.

3370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Axie Infinity - A new Ethereum game similar to CryptoKitties [SPECIAL PRE-SALE] on: December 07, 2022, 09:37:39 PM
Honestly, upon entering the game, the first thing I did was a sigh, and I immediately closed it. In conclusion, AXIE = Bored.
This game is dead, AXIE price keeps dipping even with a new burning mechanism.
It's boring these days because it's not profitable anymore unlike before. They're too late to implement the burning mechanisms and it should have been done before when they've got millions of daily active users.

Only developers are getting rich, not the investors who bought AXS.
No doubt about that and they've made billions from it even with the hacking incident.
3371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the bear market over? on: December 07, 2022, 09:04:05 PM
I agree with you that in a bear market situation a good step to take is to hold our assets until the bull market returns. Moreover, so far this year the market is in a slump and there are no signs of recovery yet.
It's for the particular assets that really are good to hold. But not all of them are good to have especially during the bear markets, you'll see a lot of them have been stomping and losing their entire value leaving the low volume and almost got no liquidity.
So, be careful with what you're going to hold during the bear market and it's best to accumulate the best ones and never forget to have bitcoin and have it even with little gains and accumulations that you'll do with it.
3372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling techniques on: December 07, 2022, 08:29:36 PM
The majority does get a hold of it because it's not that as effective as the others telling it that it's effective on them. I agree that it varies to the gambler using it.
So, if it's working to your end and experience, we're sure that it's not going to be stopped being used by that gambler where it's been effective and proven.
But to those that it didn't worked just like me and you, we're away touching and doing that strategy because we just don't want to end up with the same losses and experiences.

Yeah, depending to the users if they feel that this strategy will work on their end then they will continue using it but for those who got messed up you will hear different opinion about this strategy, I can say that one time in my gambling day I was able to win using it then quit right away, but when I did try to use it again it went to the other direction.

So it's up to you whether to continue or maybe add some tweak who knows maybe luck will back you up and let you win right?
I've messed up with that strategy a few years ago and that's why I don't want to try it anymore. So, it's based on my experience that I didn't end with a good result with that strategy.
What could be some tweaks that can be added to this strategy? If there is and someone finds it to become better, I would just say good luck to them if it really fits them right to do this.
3373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling techniques on: December 07, 2022, 07:56:35 PM
Martingale strategy whether a good or bad strategy and it does really depend on how you do make use of it, some are really that relying on it too much and some are really that wise on getting out when
they are still on greens which means that it would really depend or vary on how someone would be using it but its not really something that you could rely or depend on.
It had been proven out that it isnt really a holy grail or never ever on this world which a certain strategy does really work. You could really make use of these things
but dont expect that it would really be putting you on advantage.
The majority does get a hold of it because it's not that as effective as the others telling it that it's effective on them. I agree that it varies to the gambler using it.
So, if it's working to your end and experience, we're sure that it's not going to be stopped being used by that gambler where it's been effective and proven.

3374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading Crypto With a Job.. on: December 07, 2022, 07:29:14 PM
It's easier to be chill and be an investor and then trade when it's necessary to take profits. You don't have to fully invest all of your time watching the charts. Watch it when you've got time and prepare your plans beforehand. If you're having a hard time doing two things at the same time then take one step at a time so that you won't be confused. Trading won't require you to do it and become a day trader, you can buy right now and wait until it gives you profit or the price goes up, it may take a couple of days or weeks, or months and from there, it's up to you whether you're obliged to do it daily. Do the strategy that works for you.
3375  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading and investing, and still very broke.why? Is it spiritual? on: December 07, 2022, 06:51:35 PM
No curse, no spiritual matters but just all about how they manage their finances. That's it. There's no other reason why someone who's profitable yet still seems to be broke behind.
It's not about the money that you earn but all about how you're good at holding and spending the money that you get. There are people that don't earn that much but avoids being broke because they know their priorities and where and what to spend.
3376  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Binance Philippines on: December 07, 2022, 06:16:55 PM
Just today I made a transaction on p2p using GCASH to receive my proceeds.

3377  Local / Pilipinas / Re: NEW MARCOS ADMIN, OPEN TO DIGITAL CURRENCY on: December 07, 2022, 03:27:44 AM

3378  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to raise funding for trading? on: December 06, 2022, 11:59:09 PM
One way is to spent money to get money because if you spend cash then if optimum situations arises then it will get up high and your money will be elevated as an outcome of this but do not follow other fellow as it can lead you to the wrong path. Put money differently in different coins which are successful and you hope that they will elevate so you can raise your fund.
And people are asking how to spend money when they've got no money to spend for. That's why anyone who has that problem has to do something to make money, earn money.
That's the beginning of the plan and there's not that much you can do if you've got no money and then you're planning to trade. Don't go trading on an instant if you still have no idea of what you're trying to do.
3379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Careful where you connect your wallet on: December 06, 2022, 11:22:52 PM
Recently there are some sites, which give free Nfts, like (the football world cup Nfts, etc), that are worth around 10$ each Nft for free. So, people think that it is free and that we are getting 10$, but in meantime, they hacked the wallets. which are connected to their website. So, I think we should aware of such stuff if they are even giving it free.
That's the trap, people like and rush if they read the magical word - "free".
And that's why these scammers and hackers are taking advantage of it and making it a trick to those people that are not careful enough how to take care of their wallets. So, they create websites where the victims can claim it and has to connect their wallets, and there it goes.
Just giving access to the hackers and not reading if it's a condition that allows the hackers to give them access.
3380  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 06, 2022, 10:51:41 PM
Although I believe that you might be right, I still think that the ROS has a chance of beating the Bay Area Dragons. That's just my way of convincing myself and expecting that this fight is not gonna be a one sided game, of course I know how good Bay Area Dragons are, so there's no excitement if I will convince myself that they will just dominate the ROS.
I'm not sure if it was from Yeng the quote that I've read about them not being allowed to have 2-3 more imports while for Bay Area Dragons, they've got more.
Well, if that's for real, I understand the frustration on his part because they're a permanent team in the PBA and as for the Dragons it is also understandable that they've got more since they're a guest team. And AFAIK, they've been thinking or it's already on the plans and will soon be official about their 10-year stay in the PBA thus, expected that they'll have more foreign players, imports.
