3361  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: August 12, 2020, 02:37:20 PM
I'm rooting for the Blazers to take that 8th spot and eliminate the Lakers in the first round  Smiley.

I'll be betting substantial amount on them on Friday against the Nets.
Whoa! Easy tiger!  Grin
I might, with good numbers in the money line. Yeah! I'll take it.

So games today is not that exciting. All of them are from the secured bracket which means it's like a no bearing game.  Grin
It's difficult to decide where to put bets so I just went for over and under again.

Edit: I'm sorry this may not be a non bearing game but a tactic.
OKC could intentionally lose 2 more games to avoid playing against Houston in the playoffs and instead play against Denver. It's a good match since they can use Adams against Jokic which cannot be done against Houston because of speed.

Record:
43-27 OKC - 2 more games
43-28 Jazz - 1 more game

What is the rule when they tied? Toss coin?  Grin

Have you also considered the events on the altcoin market?
It may be growing now but most of them are just the list on the top.

I have one coin that also has the same circumstances.
The team is still working, no problem with their support.
They answer every query you will have.
But it may not always reflect the market. That's the difference between value and price.
I think you are looking for the price.

Thank you Reid, I think I'm like the Suns, I'm on streak, lol >

And because of that, my next pick is still focus on the Suns, so here we go.

Suns vs 76ers

Simple explanation, suns need a win and 76ers seems to be resting their players, so my pick would be.

Suns -8.. take it early, line may move.

Lately, It seems there can't be a wrong bet by backing Suns, I was going to say earlier that-8 is expecting too much from them, but I was wrong I'm just glad that I tailed the bet.

That was really good.
Thumbs up to status and those who followed the bet.

I didn't. I don't have the courage.  Grin
But, I did win my first bet. I think I am at 2 streaks now.
My second bet loss but its okay. Covered by the first bet. A lot.  Grin My percentage there was so high that I put a large bet for it.
So now Blazers is on the 8th spot. 9-10 is Grizzlies and Suns with same record.
What the hell will happen here.
It's getting more exciting at that low seed rankings.
3364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are the best coin in 2020? on: August 11, 2020, 07:12:25 PM
Bitcoin.
You may want to have as many as you can.

If you want to diversify then Ethereum will be your next choice.
Just invest what you can afford to lose. Dont forget that so that there will be no crying in the end.
3365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: August 11, 2020, 03:55:29 PM
Back to my crazy opinion. Suns will be playing against OKC.
Melo and CP3 are good friends right? Really close.
Do you think CP3 will do everything to stop this Suns from getting another win?
I mean, that could mean a lot for Melo right?

OKC doing everything to lose, haha.. Suns won by 20+ points. You have a point man but I think even without that friendship, their job is to win, but they lose in this game, which makes the race more interesting.

Hahaha. Well, now my craziness is over.
That was just yesterday.
Luckily, Suns will never meet Lebron in this whole 8 games. I hope you know what I mean and it connects with my craziness again.

Suns and Blazers might have the difficulty to win this game this time.
Blazers against Dallas and 76ers against Suns.
But both those teams are already secured. Could they just let the two win this game?  Huh
3366  Economy / Economics / Re: the billion dollars question on: August 11, 2020, 02:07:28 PM
i am in the frontlines so i see it with own eyes ...

the only areas i think will have a future are : agriculture, vegetables , baking bread , booze , candy , health , drugs, security ,wood for fire  ,diesel and gpl

But those industry will need advertisers right?
Did you try to at least stretch at what else you can do?
You are an IT, of course you are good with computers. Software, hardware, web researching, etc...

I don't think I am as good as you but I did find a way to get a job using the internet only.
It may not be the long type of jobs but if it can support my family then I will take it.
Stay positive man!
3367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: August 11, 2020, 11:00:37 AM
Once again congrats on the win amigo  Smiley. Lucky me this time as i was able to tail your bet.

Wow! We have the same odds.
I didn't know you tailed my bet. Congratulations to you too!
Now I have two bets again.
The first one I might have the high chance. The second though might have a lower percentage of winning.
It's a gamble.

It's a little funny when you think of it.
Before it will be war if they are in misunderstanding. Literally war. Blood spill.
Now what? Worms and Virus spill? Internet and application blocking. Firewall.  Grin

Yeah! Looks like VPN services will be a boom now.
Is there an investment style here? I want in.  Grin

Could it be that our emotion is also instinct?
We just ignore it most of the time because we think that emotion is a bad combination with gambling.  Grin

Congratulations to stadus.
I didn't bet on that game as I have lot of doubts.
Luckily, I didn't because I thought OKC will take that game.
3370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: August 10, 2020, 03:11:10 PM
As it stands

Still hanging (below 8th place Grizzlies):
Blazers - .5 game behind
Spurs - 1 game behind
Suns - 1.5 game behind

Eliminated:
Pelicans
Kings

I was just about to put an analysis too.
Thank you for doing this in advance because I am having a hard time to analyze everything.  Grin

There is an intriguing part here. (After I read stadus bet for the Suns, that bulb of idea popped out of my head)
It's a bad one and just my own opinion, okay? You can call me crazy afterwards but for now hear me out.
Blazers is at 33 wins with 2 more games.
Suns is at 31 win with 3 more game.
If you look at it, its actually unfair. Suns is at perfect wins when we just count the restart of the season. Blazers already loss 2 games.
There is also a bad calculations with the games played.

Blazers 33-39 +2 more games = 74
Suns 31-39 +3 more games =  73 (correct me if I am wrong)

Back to my crazy opinion. Suns will be playing against OKC.
Melo and CP3 are good friends right? Really close.
Do you think CP3 will do everything to stop this Suns from getting another win?
I mean, that could mean a lot for Melo right?

We could do the same thing.
Use Twitter, Youtube, and Facebook as a weapon to educate those who may possibly be a victim of this attempts.

We cannot control how many will follow us or read it.
But, there will always be the possibility that someone will read it and avoid this scams.
It may be a low chance but a chance is still a chance. 1% is better than 0.
3372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: August 10, 2020, 11:34:07 AM
Thanks, guys.
We are lucky.
I am sorry bisdak you missed it. But I know you will also take that bet if you ever had the time.

Look at the ML's now.
Something you will emotionally bet if you are a fan. Yeah! I am one of the victims of an emotional bet.  Grin
No handicaps.

I'll doubt this time if he can get both of those awards, but who knows? I think Giannis has a chance to get those and possibilities are always endless. I can vouch for the MVP award but DPOY, I think it will goes to Jabbar-Davis, just LBJ's new nickname.

With his performance, it's not far that he will get that award, but the big award is winning the NBA Finals and getting the Finals MVP, and IMO, only great players do that like Lebron James, Kawhi Leonard, and Kevin Durant, Giannis badly need that kind of award.
And it's a big award because of the difficulty level of the playoffs.
You can relax a bit with the season but on that playoffs moment every point, rebound, assist, steal and block will matter.
There is no going back when you lose 1 game. It will hurt a lot unlike losing a game in season.

To help for the candidates votes for the awards, here is a voting created by CBS staff.

3374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some people stop their crypto project? on: August 10, 2020, 06:20:30 AM
A lot of reasons. Purposes.
What if at the beginning of it the true purpose is just to gather money and exit? Scammy attempts.
Bankruptcy could also be an issue. I already experienced that with one of my bought tokens.
They might have a reason and you cannot do anything about it since you will pay more for legal help just to chase them.
Will you go to so much trouble and expense just for that?
3375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: August 10, 2020, 04:43:30 AM
Okay Brooklyn, thanks for making my day once again.
I need to savor this win.
Beers for everyone!!!  Grin

I lost my over and under parlay again but WTH! I don't even feel it.
Once felt really good. But twice? I can't even describe it.
3376  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: August 09, 2020, 02:17:50 PM
This is the last thing Damian needs right now, he and team mates should just get their selves together and focus on making the playoff,

Is it consistency or chemistry?
What could be missing?
CJ is still there and so is Damian. They still have a great offense.
They just added Melo. Did something change after that?

Lets go Brooklyn!!!  Grin
3377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What makes a good bettor? on: August 09, 2020, 09:51:27 AM
Sports betting, analysis is needed but it doesn't mean it will always go that way.
Most of the time, not. Depends on how good a player could be. There will always be the off nights.
Expectations could also fog decisions. But yeah, it needs knowledge and updates about the sport.

Horse racing, I think you would need the same. Analysis, knowledge about the horse.
That might only be the twist of it, unlike multiplayer sports where you would need to keep track of every player that has an impact for the team.
3378  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: August 09, 2020, 07:16:53 AM
They are counting the contribution and hard work of Kawhi.

But the sentence that made my eyebrows raise is the part of the article that says, they can do it again even without Kawhi.

Because they can.
Relying on one superstar is not a good thing.
A team is a team. Everyone should contribute and they are proving that now.
Yeah, Kawhi had made a lot of contribution for the Raptors back then. But, it is also because it is composed of great roleplayers on his wing.
Saikam, Lowry and Ibaka.
Now, other players who haven't got minutes before are having their best opportunity. It's still a good thing. It's not that bad at all.
3379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Okay whales and market manipulators, I need you to crash the coin markets now. on: August 09, 2020, 05:13:56 AM
Careful what you wish for.  Grin
This looks like a selfish thread.

Have you ever thought about those who are still keeping their coins intact for a better purpose in the future?
I doubt you did.
You should've thought about what coin you will pick from the start. Right?
3380  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: August 09, 2020, 03:22:53 AM
Damn Blazers. I thought they can do this.  Grin Are they worn out or something?
As I see it, only 9 players used minutes in-game while 10 for Clippers without Kawhi.

Anyway, I still won my bet in over and under parlay.
It could have been better if they win since Dallas is still fighting. @overtime!

Edit: Ergh!!! could've won it all.
