3361  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: February 24, 2018, 09:58:38 AM
Milan (ITA) v  Arsenal (ENG)
I think that Milan and Arsenal teams are a bit overrated in this tournament, but in this pair I see Arsenal as a favorites, their squad is better. Arsenal must win Europa league if they want to play in UCL next season.
It will be also interesting to watch Marseille vs Athletic for me and maybe CSKA vs Lyon.

Ac Milan vs Arsenal is a balanced match, but for me AC Milan is slightly favored because it is in great shape and because Arsenal will be without Lacazette (injured) and Aubameyang (can not play in the Europa League having played in Champion's League with B. Dortmund).
Oh, I completely forgot that Aubameyang can't play for Arsenal in Europa league this season. But still, I think that Arsenalwill go further. If Arsenal will win Europa league, maybe Wenger will get lifetine contract  Huh
It is not overrated even though both teams were not in their former glory they still both have strong and loyal fans and this match in the Europa League is anticipated as it has been 6 years in which they have faced each other. Obviously in terms of Roster Arsenal is better than A.C. Milan the only thing that Milan has an advantage is their strategy as well as their first match being played at San Siro which they must take full advantage of. Hopefully they will have a score early before facing Arsenal in their home again.
3362  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitDice New Design Feedback Request on: February 24, 2018, 08:55:03 AM
-  The animations you think will make initial loading of the sites low ? Could be a turn off if on  slow internet connections website loads extremely slow.
-  Honestly,on opening the website it doesn't give the feels of a "Gambling Website".On the first visit,it kinda looked like a games store.
-  The theme is based on some anime characters, does that have anything relevant or just random stuff ?
-  I feel there is too much on the same page.

I'm leaning towards Patatas here. I know the major demographic of most traditional online gambling, especially leisure gamblers, means that graphics and attention-grabbing images will be important to pull in the crowds, specially if you're going for the mobile market... but I wonder if crypto gamblers are a little less concerned with graphics than with speed. Every site I play at: loading is an issue especially with mobile data access. Maybe I'm getting too used to dice-game sites and how they look, so I already have expectations.

Unless the images are a significant part of branding... I'd tone down and aim straight for the heart of BitDice... highlight the flagship product, hook the crypto gambler in 2 seconds, not 5 while images load.
I disagree investing heavily on the website's user interface will totally increase the user experience. The better the user experience will be the higher the customer satisfaction will be and the more they will bet in that site. But if the user interface is making the loading speed slow like what Patatas is experiencing then BitDice needs to do some tweaking as the slow service will offset the customer's satisfaction on the site. I hope that the new design will have some improvements in terms of loading speed.
3363  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin like a Bubble ? on: February 23, 2018, 02:21:21 PM
In my own perspective I think that Bitcoin is a bubble. But is is unlike any bubble we have seen so far as it can pop several times and still becomes a bubble. Even thought we have massive drops we see that Bitcoin can still see Bitcoin recover which only takes time before it tries to go to a new all time high. Hopefully Bitcoin will prove is wrong as every time it drops a thread like this is always created. So for you to have a peace of mind Bitcoin will still recover just hold it and don't worry too much.
3364  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: February 23, 2018, 10:23:01 AM
Theres no doubt on that which David do really do his best on hearing out peoples issues and following it up to be resolved and as a community manager this is really a challenge for him. Fraud assessment team should really have some changes when it comes on verifying large amounts of withdrawals. We do understand each gambling site do really face issues the only thing matters that as long it is being resolved.

I heard they are on the process of improving their service.  David had been open about several changes on FJ that includes upgrade on fraud assessment which is somehow one of the causes of the delayed in investigation of pending withdrawals, but  I have seen that most that were legit withdrawals had been released regardless of amount.  I believe with the planned improvement, these issues will be minimized if not nullified.

I believe there will always be issues and some certain cases can fall through the cracks.. However a company that is open to change and improve to guarantee that they'll always be on top of things while they can still be humble when something has gone wrong, is a winner in my book. Keep up the good work David!
I just really hope that our fellow members here in the community will know and understand that FortuneJack is trying to improve their service. And David is going on a limb here as he is also manageing other stuff related to promoting FJ and he is still finding time to fixed personal issues outside of his work. And looking at how busy he is I think we should be considerate and appreciative for what the work he is doing as it could mean a lot for him.
3365  Economy / Speculation / Re: Debunking the waste of energy argument against Bitcoin on: February 23, 2018, 10:07:33 AM
I agree. Cryptocurrency mining is really not a big deal about power consumption. What I mean about that is cryptocurrencies can be earned from a different way. And aren't we using more energy now compared to before? We are now on a digital age where all of us have gadgets that require energy and blaming it on a few mining rigs is not the way to go. What our government need is to catch up in our power consumption demands or if not the companies making the mining equipment must design better and energy efficient equipments.
3366  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: BitCoin - Where is it illegal ? on: February 23, 2018, 09:38:42 AM
Bitcoin's legality in different countries is still unclear as we are being fed with false or limited information everyday and the information is still being brought to us holders are made to us like a real one. There are countries where they claimed that Bitcoin is illegal as a mode of payment but it is legal to be traded and mined and yet we don't have proper information if that thing is true or not. We don't have a reliable source like cnn or cnbc providing us legit news.
3367  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Burning of Money on: February 23, 2018, 08:52:07 AM
It's nothing like burning money. The paper money is anyway not going anywhere any soon. Cryptos will evolve as an alternate method of transactions and possibly a more secure method as well.

And this won't wipe out the regular currency at all because its rooted to thousands of years and will remain for plenty more. However, bitcoin or cryptocurrency is not extracting money from the already available monetary forms. It is gaining its own value which brings this fear that one day the whole money available will be short of exchanges for bitcoins.

Well, thats not the case. Because only a limited number or amount of bitcoins will be ever produced, which would require some more decades, but it has a limit anyways which would never create an inflation in cryptomarket as compared to paper money. Once the limit is reached, maybe some more forks might be frequent, or the division of one bitcoin into multiple satoshis will occur and hence will check any possible inflation.
I agree because without Fiat Currency Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency won't have any value. Fiat currency is still there and is still serving the main purpose as the medium of exchange for majority of the population. Bitcoin even if its the most popular cryptocurrency won't have the necessary means to defeat Fiat currency. The most realistic reason out there is because Fiat currency is more practical to be used physically when buying goods.
3368  Economy / Economics / Re: What will have the biggest impact on the Bitcoin price? on: February 23, 2018, 07:26:54 AM
The existing whales now are influencing the price of Bitcoin greatly.  Now a shift of inflow of  cash from a different sector will definitely make Bitcoin price increase more and also it will make Bitcoin more volatile as a lot of people will noe be playing their money inside cryptocurrency which I think is only good for people lookong to take profit on Bitcoin. Making Bitcoin as a currency will be a lot harder.
3369  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-02-22] SEC charges former bitcoin exchange and its founder with fraud on: February 23, 2018, 05:56:29 AM
The SEC seems to be taking its own sweet time to act against fraudulent exchanges. Montroll closed its shutters in 2013. The SEC has filed charges in 2018. In an age where money and criminals disappear in days after swindling investors, such delayed investigations and actions will hardly put fear in their hearts.

But it should because it might mean that the SEC is following all the fraud and scams in the cryptospace, and thoroughly studies them before filing charges.

If Cryptsy's Paul Vernon thinks that he's out of the hook, he should be careful. The same goes for the past illegal ICOs and crowdsales that were organized in America.
This is what we need as the government is now aware of fraudulent acts happening in the web, this cyberspace criminals might think that they are some kind of untouchable people stealing money. Also the first target would exchanges where many anomalies have been done. From sudden stop of operations to the exchanges running their users' money all the  SEC has to do it to follow the money and they will have enough evidence to prove what their wrongdoings are.
3370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: February 22, 2018, 06:45:52 PM
NBA Commissioner Adam Silver recently announced a proposal where the 16 teams would be one single playoffs match regardless of the conferences. Yes, a new playoffs format where 16 teams will be bracketed at each other.

What does this mean?

E.g. Let's say top seed would be Warriors, they will be matched on the team that will take the last playoffs spot. So the format will now be, 1 vs 16 , 2 vs 15, 3 vs 14 and so on...

Unfair or will be fair? My thoughts is, just leave the Playoffs format on what it is today.
I don't like the proposal, the current system is working well and this already brings a lot of fun to us lovers of this game.
The East and West should be highlight and they should meet in the Finals so they can bring a lot of fun.
Is he also the one who changes the All Star format?

The All-Star proposal was made by NBA and the players itself. Im not sure who is behind the original idea but after some talks, NBA made it official as NBA players lead by Chris Paul agreed also with the proposal.

Talking with the new proposal for playoffs format, lots of East teams will surely can't sealed a playoffs spots as we all know that sometimes, the record for 8th spot on the West can be placed at 4th spot on the East.

Let's wait for some feedbacks on the players regarding this. As far as reports is concerned, only LeBron James currently gave a feedback about it.

If implemented, weaker teams will forced themselves to acquired and market at least 1 superstar in their roster but for that to happened they must matched the offer of other teams including matching the offer of those big teams unless that player itself will commit to that said team.

Majority of top 16 will surely on the West and it's kinda an easy road for the top seed on advancing the second round as they will faced the weaker team and Im sure that will be on the East.

And I doubt those teams at below can provide a huge contract offer for that superstar. Some teams at the bottom of standing is experiencing a detoriation of their ticket sales due to low record. But as you mentioned, if that superstar will commit playing at that team then there will be no problem.

And yes, let's say Golden State Warriors or Houston Rockets will be the top seed, they will faced the 8th spot on the East on which way more incompentent than the 8th spot on the East. There is no difficult road at all. But let's see some details about this later on once it will become trending.

Well i won't say it's "fair" since the top four teams would more than likely steamroll over their opponents but the middle matchups would probably more evenly matched. I agree than it wouls probably favor western teams to advance especially if they face a weaker eastern team
So what is the purpose of having a conference for? Looking at the new format I think it will be easier for people to do the things they like. Teams who aim to be tanking will have an easier way to do it as they are only for the lowest winning record which they could achieve on a Top 16 Playoff format. This format will also be bad for the low seeded teams as they are facing a top seeded team, it will mean a walk in the park for them as the difference will be big as they will be overpowered.

Hi David, I thought I let you know this

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2975845.0

Not sure if it is legit or not but you should take a look  Smiley

Thanks oHnK,

I have seen topic and already solved an issue will quote my response in that thread here as well because the issue is becoming serious.

Hi Dear Player,

I am here to give you updates on your case. As already checked with our fraud control department, you have been accepted for a withdrawal and have funds reached your account. Your request has been checked and this is standard procedure in every online casino ever existed on this planet or digital reality. Because of the weekend, this took a little more time than usual, which is 2 days.

FortuneJack has been a victim of serious attacks on digital reputation recently, we have had several cases against us that by industry standards make absolutely no sense and are creating buzz during weekends when most of the managerial staff has day-offs and fast reactions are harder than usual. All of those cases were started by users just registered on BTC TALK, fortunejack has been one of the oldest members of this community and our signature campaign I think is actually longest running one here. We are seriously concerned about this issues and are working on policy or guideline to somehow deal with issues in-house firstly. I want to ask old BTC talkers and also administration to make some steps as well, maybe reviewing this kind of topics before going public is an idea as well. This damages our digital reputation, SEO and smells really fishy sometimes.

Cheers.

After being on the receiving end of delayed withdrawal I think I can add some insight. Most staff should be active during your busiest time. The weekend? Withdrawals should be processed 90%+ less than 3 hours 99%+ less than 24 hours. If you have been around 5 years you should have a process that is optimal for security and keeping the high valued customers playing. I only read about the 99 LTC guy but I'm sure there are others that won't be coming back. good luck.
Wont you consider that staff/support are just humans too? They do need to have a break when it comes to weekends which i would say we should put into consideration.FJ might have some flaws or issues of delays but for a various reason. They are here for quiet sometime and they have prove out that their service is one of the best but cant really avoid that there should really some changes regarding into its withdrawal matters since people are already complaining mostly about this.
Whether you like the reason or not it is why your withdrawal got delayed and David is being honest about it. Fraud Assessment is pretty standard procedure in FortuneJack for withdrawals with a big number or something is fishy with your winnings. You should also be thankful as David is only a campaign manager but he is here solving issues which are created by lowly ranked members of Bitcointalk, they are damaging the good reputation of the site.
3373  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to know before the Dump? on: February 22, 2018, 03:38:27 AM
The most easiest way is to avoid it. Do not put your money on Cryptocurrency that has a high chance of being dumped. Only invest on cryptocurrencies where you know the developers won't bail out on their holders. That is wht you can do nest is to avoid shitcoins as no matter how informed you are you might be too late before they start dumping their shares.
3374  Economy / Gambling / Re: Buying Gambling website on: February 21, 2018, 06:06:12 PM
http://bitcoin.casino/ - would consider selling bitcoin.casino around 150 BTC or close to this amount. Do you have the budget for it?
He is looking for a gambling site not a gambling review site as what you are offering. And isn't 150 BTC too much for your website, which I just knew the name of. Your site is too simple and lacks design for it to appeal to the masses, the 150 BTC you are asking won't return to the buyer even in 2 years. Assuming that you are really the owner of the website I would suggest for you not to take advantage of a guy who is just asking for a person who is willing to sell there gambling site.
3375  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: has trading become difficult? on: February 21, 2018, 04:58:58 PM
The rapid price increase and decrease of Bitcoin does not make Bitcoin Trading difficult, in fact it is what makes Bitcoin Trading called Bitcoin Trading as without the volatility Bitcoin is giving us we won't have the chance to profit from it. Yes the high volatility of Bitcoin makes it more riskier to lose your money but if you know how to trade and you have a trading plan your chances of losing money will be low. Trading cryptocurrency is not for the weak of heart it is unlike any other but still technical analysis applies to your trades.
3376  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitKong - Fun & Addictive, provably fair bitcoin game. on: February 21, 2018, 03:03:14 PM
no its the same thing everytime they change bets when you bet big

there provable fair system is totally  a joke

they just change bets when ever someone bets big

over hundreds of thousands of bets not one above it 3 rows

there 1000% a complete scam

Listen it's impossible for a probably fair system to find a way and cheat you.

You should read up on how provably fair works. Basically it uses 1 way crypto and tells you the hashed seed and before you bet you can copy it and when you are done betting you can see if the hash was correct.

The nonce is incremented and even 1 small change can cause a completely different results that's pretty much random
I agree. I guess you are not having good luck in your side. I played with them before and basing is from my personal experience I know that you are  also feeling bad things about losing. Mostly when I bet and I get only just 1-2 rows I always be on some kind of rage mode feeling that I  am just wasting my money. But I never think that the game is cheating one me. What you just need to do is to cool down and do not overthink about something as you are creating a problem which was not even there in the first place.
3377  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎮🎮 Provably.io | Premium Bitcoin Dice | .90% Edge | BLAZING FAST 🎮🎮 on: February 20, 2018, 04:58:09 PM
We are thinking about launching another contest. What would you guys be interested in?

As usual, I will not suggest wagering contest because I will not able to compete with other players who have big bankroll.  Grin
Most popular contests for dice game except wagering contest are number hunt, longest losing or winning streak, hit the bet ID, biggest win with high multiplier, and profit percentage competition.  Maybe other members may add other possible competitions.
I would have to agree players who don't have a lot to start will have a disadvantage compared to people who have a larger bank roll. What panjul07 said are good alternative where all players have a fair chance of winning. I have experienced similar contests on another gambling site before and I must say it is addicting. If you want your promotion to really work you must target all kinds of players and they must all have a fair chance of winning.
3378  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If bitcoin is gone will the other coin survive? on: February 20, 2018, 04:02:35 PM
I think not. We can all see that bitcoin falls hard and also the altcoins and one of the reason why I think altcoins can't survive because people coverts their altcoin to bitcoin so they can withdraw their money.
Just like mine.It would be hard already for some other coins to survive without the existence of bitcoin.Bitcoin is the most trusted coin in the market and if some reason it will suddenly die, there are still some good altcoins who will survive but maybe they will just live shortly in the market.
It depends as to what caused Bitcoin to fall, if Bitcoin fall because all cryptocurrencies are banned then all altcoins will go down as well. But if only Bitcoin is prohibited then other cryptocurrencies will thrive in the market, as people who previously owns Bitcoin will most likely find another cryptocurrency available in the market.. But if Bitcoin has fallen it will most likely take time before the cryptocurrency market recovers and it could mean a buying opportunity for us people.
3379  Economy / Gambling / Re: Watch me gamble with your money, (possibly) naked! on: February 20, 2018, 03:00:36 PM
How can it be a fun show if you only intend it to hit 90%? Basically what you are doing is gambling away the money of another person just for your own entertainment. If I will put myself as your potential customer I would likely think that my money was just used for your gambling. Stripping away only your shirt and pants won't be enough for your potential customer. And follow up question if it reach 80& will you intend to keep the 80% for continuing the show or will you send it back to them?
3380  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: February 20, 2018, 08:29:24 AM
I never know that freedogeco.in still exist, its been so long time to have player still playing this ago. If I not mistake, I do not play their doge for almost 2 years yet now someone posting about this again. Are you mean this site is still claimable? I believe most of the players are moving to the freebitco.in and left the doge version. Are we still can get the payout from there?

Yes, it's still there. They reduced the max payout from $200 to $150 ages ago but it's still paying. They did recently announce that they are going to add several altcoins and rebrand freebitco.in soon. When that happens doge will be merged in and there will only be one site.

I don't think that is a good idea. But if that site has different lotteries respective to their cryptocurrency I am ok with it. Having  the ability to be part of several lotteries in one site is a good idea. It will mean different tickets, faucets, as well as prizes. Your chances of winning will be greater if that happens as you can at least win in one of their lotteries. Hopefully they won't lessen the prizes if the merger will push through.
