3381  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Earn Cryptocurrency on: February 22, 2020, 07:22:24 PM
First of all there's no such thing as free even the faucets let you watch dozens of ads before claiming the faucet because they needed your traffic or view, the most legitimate  way you can earn crypto is through working there's a lot of things you can do here if you have an investment you can go for mining and trading unfortunately it depends on time whether it is worth mining or not and in regards with trading you should have enough skills in order to trade well.

If you don't have any money to invest you can earn through bounty programs on which you're going to promote a project and they will reward you either their own coins/tokens or bitcoin.

there are ways to earn free crypto  . for example on a gambling site they give rains without doing nothing but only its random  , users can also give you tip and its not random but try to be more friendly to them so that you can get recognized  . i dont consider faucets as free because like you said they require some work first before you can claim a crypto  .  better if we dont expect to earn big  because if that is our mindset , its hard for us to find an earning source  . and mostly those who promise to pay big are only scams
3382  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Okay. Charge tax on bitcoin. Is this fair policy? on: February 22, 2020, 06:48:46 PM
sees as a lottery , what do you mean by that ? im so slow , i dont get that sorry  .  or you mean lottery business were also being charged high tax by the governments ? well that is quite true  .  its also true that bitcoin uses are now being taxed to some countries  . luckily still not on mine country  but im not a trader anyway so i think im still safe if ever they will approve that bill soon  . still the 20 percent tax is i think too much to some that are affected with it  . thats threatening to the crypto traders and to the crypto market     .
3383  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A question about withdrawing BTC on: February 22, 2020, 02:51:39 PM
Recently I became interested in the feasibility to withdraw btc through the atm. I read a lot of information about this, here, for example, this article on changelly.
If you guys have a similar experience, please share it. I'm worried about the anonymity of such a method. And all in all, aren't such things contrary to the idea of cryptocurrency on the whole if you have as much anonymity when working with it as you do with fiat?
It will bypass the main purpose of bitcoin which is to be able to transact anonymously. If we are going to have some ATM that allows us to be able to withdraw bitcoin, it will for surely gonna be centralized and the government will know our true identity. We must really take it slowly before implementing it so that it will not defeat the purpose of cryptocurrency.

gee . thats scary man  . good thing there is no btc atm nearby on my place yet because i was conscious about my privacy and i just dont want to share my identity to someone else not even on this btc atm's   . btc will be nonesense then if it will be the same as fiat powered atm's  . if that is the case then ill will only use fiat   . i only use my btc for online purhcase anyway  and im happy with it  . transacting with btc online is surely anonymous and also fast than using centralized payment provider  .
3384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sending Bitcoin through SMS/Text Messaging? on: February 22, 2020, 01:15:30 PM
if im not mistaken i  think i already seen simillar like this before . it was a local payment solution where you can send and recieve money and yes you can do them via sms/text message .  it was a centralized kind too  but it does not matter at all and people dont care that time if they will be using centralized and decentralized system but what important the most is the convinience . in the case of bitcoin and in crypto i do think its possible also where they will only use a third party to process the transaction online
3385  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 0.28 bitcoin to be in the 1% of richest bitcoin holder on: February 22, 2020, 11:14:27 AM
earning that said amount thesedays is pretty difficult yes knowing that bitcoin prices are now expensive but if you already bought or hold some on the past when btc is still inexpensive , you are lucky because you are honored as one of the richest btc hodlers  .  for me , its not important to claimed a title like that but what important to me is that i am happy to use my bitcoin on a regular basis  . infact i have over 2btc a total of transaction over the past two year course  and most of those i got was from the 2017 era  but now i dont still consider my self rich but its fine
3386  Economy / Speculation / Re: Scammers move 12k BTC - dump is comming? on: February 22, 2020, 10:43:42 AM
not important if its a cold wallet or hot but the issue here is they are scamers and they make so much money from scamming  . i fell sorry for the people that donated thier money on them  .  12k btc looks small compare to other whale seller on the past   . they even sell over 100 btc and the market didnt dump too much so there is no need for us to worry  . this will only make a small impact on the price  .  they wont loose if the sell in any moment because they only scammed that money anyway  .
3387  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Malaysia crypto friendly on: February 22, 2020, 09:20:39 AM
Not entirely ,
Right now , I cannot say that they are crypto friendly , but I do think the situation is not as bad as other nations where cryptocurrencies are fully banned .

if they allow crypto use then they are a crypto friendly   . being restricted or banned is where its not consider a crypto friendly country    , never hear any major development in realation to crypto on this country not unlike to other asian countries where there are now btc atm , more adoption , more support from the merchants , etc  .  maybe malaysia were only late to accept crypto  thats why they are being left behind  but not too late to catch  up if they are really sincer of thier acceptance with cryptos  .
3388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some ridiculous suspicious projects with zero value! on: February 22, 2020, 08:46:04 AM
I hate this kind of nonsense and this is what a lot of company has been up to lately. They no longer give attention to their customers/investors and never give them specific replies, rather they just create a particular reply that they will always copy and paste anytime they are being asked a question and to be sincere, this their behavior always drives me crazy and I feel like if I’m given the chance I’d punch their face lol Grin.

If it’s not going to be that they will reply me with the most humanly reply, then I’m better off looking for something else, than always getting the same reply like - ‘our technical team is working behind scenes... And blablabla’.

it seems like projects nowadays are only depending on thier luck  , as a result we got so much crapy projects now and people are also depending on thier luck . they dont have a choice and they cant be picky because what are they going to pick given that most projects now are bad  ?  and also i know the feeling when you see automated replies   . that sucks because we cant complain too much or we cant carefully explain if what are experiencing with them  . automated replies are popular now on almost any websites including on social media sites  .
3389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Altcoins getting Boycotted? on: February 21, 2020, 06:27:19 PM
nope not true. people loves altcoins too not just a regular altcoin but they even pick the riskier tokens . can you imagine ?  people are now getting bolder or braver than before  . they go out from thier shell to try something that is new  . also  it comes to your mouth that altcoins are being loved by  investors but why will you think  that they are being boycoted ?  its not unusual to see btc having a good percent of dominance  . that is already happening before just so you know and expect the number are still growing the longer the years have passed
3390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Many Bitcoin Forks Are There? You will be surprised!!! on: February 21, 2020, 04:55:40 PM
Jesus, Bitcoin diamond, atom and lightning bitcoin lol...

Indeed  Grin Grin Grin

I see almost the same reaction by 90% of people who just found out about this fact and I am not surprised at all because my reaction was exactly the same Cheesy.

my reaction dont really differ with you guys  . i also find it cool and funny . cool because there are so many btc forks and im not familiar to the most of them . i dont even know if whats thier release dates except from the popular bch  . funny because some names are indeed funny   .  there was a lightning bitcoin too ? but isnt it different from the lightning btc network ?  just curious here if they are somehow related to each other .  but thanks anyway for puttting an explanation and actual pics . it makes the thread more enjoyable to read Smiley
3391  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is better than your bank! on: February 21, 2020, 04:13:31 PM
It is not that many people don't want to use bitcoin but we should understand and realize change is always faced with challenges and resistance until a certain time where it gets adopted or accepted but one big challenge that it could face with bank is the internet connection to transaction which many people don't have too. Bitcoin is decentralized which means an individual should be responsible for their business but the internet would defeat this where people can't access it without a third party.
Bitcoin is somehow better than our banks if and only if people knows how to use it properly. Cryptocurrency is a very risky investment if you don't have proper knowledge about it. In just snap, you might lose a part of your money because of the wrong usage of it. You must hold it until the price of it became higher for you to be able to earn a good amount of profit.
Well, maybe when we look at interest rates in bitcoin higher than banks but some personal opinions cannot disrupt the minds of many people around the world, the general idea is that banks will still be safer services because they have very enthusiastic and responsible support in their operations, bitcoin may be better but there is no organization behind management, unexpected risk may come. Comparing in many ways, the value of each platform will be useful to the needs of each individual, nothing is better than something and vice versa

yup . profit is the reason why people says btc is better than a bank but if not because of profit i dont believe they will compare it to bank  .

you said btc is better but there is no organization behind it  ? so its risky  ?  but i think its more riskier if there is some people behind btc or not only btc but to also on banks as well because those people can run away your money  .  this is why i wont still put my trust on banks but i dont choose bitcoin iether as an alternative to banks   .
3392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the speed of the blockchains on: February 21, 2020, 03:34:00 PM
I am not downplaying the speeds of the blockchain highlighted above, but i do feel that no matter the speed.
Once there are so many orders to be processed at the same time, there will definitely be network congestion.

This happens in time when there is a high and low price consecutively within hours.
well indeed the transaction speed of the blockchain technology can not be calculated accurately but usually when making deliveries using blockchain technology you can increase speed by increasing transaction costs.

you need to know that shipping with a small fee may send the potential to arrive in an amount of more than 24 hours.

thats insane to wait over 24 hrs but there are people that like to put lower fees upon sending a transaction   . its basically thier fault so it doesnt makes sense to complain   . we cant calculate accurately the speed yes because there are factors that varies too like if the network is in heavily traffic due to spamming of low fee transactions  . that happens before and people was like wtf ? who is doing it  . still thanks for the op for putting a break down lists of the blockchain speeds  . this makes us aware if what coins to use next if we are in a hurry   .
3393  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Assess your gambling addiction level. on: February 21, 2020, 02:55:40 PM
Level 0 and level 1. Gambling is not a thing I do for regular daily activities.
you should be on level 0 only because you said you dont gamble regularly   .

Quote
I have stopped that and I only whenever I feel like and if I don't win I move on till another next impulse day. Anytime I win I also.find how to win more with little stakes.
you mean you play gambling whenever you like , that means you are prone to addiction because what if you feel you need play gambling all the time . your qualified for more levels of addiction then not just level 0 and 1  . add in the fact that when you win your looking forward for more wins but your other statement condratics it because you said when you loose you will stop playing  .

your situation is i think confusing mate  . you need to clear that out so that you can verify if what exact level of addiction your in , so that youl know if you need treatment already or not .
3394  Economy / Speculation / Re: Pomp 100,000$ Prediction on: February 21, 2020, 12:24:33 PM
i dont exactly know if who is this guy but what he said are pure facts  . increasing demand , fixed supply  . except from he said that btc will reach 100000 usd  . he is one of those many users that claims to have a 100000 usd in the price of btc   . i think the guy is not an ordinary guy , i mean he is professional ( smart , educated , wealthy ) because he is popular but why does he predicted something that is not possible  ? this insane prediction will be more acceptable to a common dude  .
3395  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Conferences getting Postponed. on: February 21, 2020, 11:25:12 AM
this  could be the reason of the dip but there are pumps before during the virus happens . now im confused if virus has a positive or negative effect in the cryptos but one thing is for sure , if there is no virus occurence , no conference will be cancel so more up in the price will happen due to adoption .

no lives will also be wasted  .  but lets cheer up and hope that thier conference will be re scheduled as soon as possible .
3396  Economy / Economics / Re: Using of Blockchain in Election on: February 21, 2020, 09:39:13 AM
If electronic voting is bad, what is better? Paper ballots?
both arent bad actually   . if everyone is honest people wont switch to newer system but no , thats why they upgrade to have a better security  .

Quote
Using blockchain in election isn't very new idea.
yes   . i already heard of it before many times before this one but the question is thier local implement it already  ? im waiting for someone that have a guts to try one out .

India’s citizens will soon be able to cast votes from outside their city of registration thanks to a blockchain-based system: https://cointelegraph.com/news/indias-citizens-will-vote-with-blockchain-election-commissioner-says
anyone can cast a vote online even without blockchain but by using blockchain , it can make the voting more secure and free from frauds  .

3397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: After losing did you feel you must return the soonest to win back your losses? on: February 21, 2020, 08:53:35 AM
there comes a point whereby looking at the current balance I must either win this last time or stop playing before going broke. It's a tough call, everyone has to make

I have been in such situations. I think the best way to combat such instances is to simply stop playing/gambling at that particular time.

this is hard for me .  its feel totally uncomfortable once my balance drop down when i gamble so stopping is not my game but instead of stopping i will keep on betting in the hopes that i can hit big  . sometimes i can make an epic comeback where i win contiuosly up to the point that i recover my balance but i forgot that im still a degen so i keep on pushing in the hopes of winning again but nah , ill still loose up to the point of no return  . thats the only time i stop , i dont return asap because how i can i return when im already broke  ?
3398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Check Liquidity Before you invest on: February 21, 2020, 08:00:16 AM
whenever i invest i go for the best . its already given that the best coins have a great liquidity am i right? its because many people are already hunting for these coins  . they buy and trade it more often compare to coins that arent good enough   . so in short im saying that i dont check the liquidity but at least i have my own edge or i have my own style when picking up a coin although its not really that original because i heard many peeps also have this strat before they start picking a coin   .
3399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have some funds to invest-- How do I make a good decision? on: February 20, 2020, 11:05:27 PM
seems like your a newb yet on this business . you already have the money but you lack out of knowledge . better that you can do is to study the basics ,  the intermediate and so on . you can use some of your money to buy books or to hire some guru to help you equip more with knowledge   . after those , youl know what to do own your own and stop being fooled by others because scammers are hungry for newbies  .
3400  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustadice – Next Generation Dice on: February 20, 2020, 10:41:38 PM
seems like mathematically it's unprofitable, because when a player loses - I as investor get only 50% of my profit taking into account the casino's fee, but if the player wins - I share all the risks with the casino on an equal basis. It means that my investment part will constantly decrease until it'll disappear at all.

of course . for what its called a gambling ? not talking on the actual gambling itself but investing is also considered as a gambling because you are risking your money for the hopes of some return .

thier system for investors sounds like a literal gambling too because of the fee which act as a house edge  . on an actual gambling there was a house too that limits your ability to get maximum profit but once you loose you will loose all what you bet
