I just confused, which kind of situation the user must prove the document?
At any situation for no reasons, so your privacy is at stake but we can't blame the gambling sites because they are doing it as per the regulations regarding their license. From the user point of view it can't be taken as easy like posting everything on social media because people who uses cryptos are mostly having different personalities that is why they chosen cryptos in the first place.
I guess they are now leading to legitimation which is required to their license to have KYC verification.

For me, this is not a big deal, I can submit my documents because everything is fine and nothing to hide. But for now, I don't feel using gambling sites that required KYC/AML but then, we should still respect them for what their decision had.

Let's wait for the outcome of this, if this will not affect their users, there are various gambling sites out there to be used.
It may affect them in long term especially because we have huge competition now in the online crypto market compared to 2019 and before so definitely people will choose the play on a completely anonymous sites than the site which requires your personal details. And what if they ask you to more sensitive information for high wagering players? They will be never comfortable in such situations.

3383  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Expired Kraken Deposit Address on: April 24, 2021, 06:59:16 PM
Most likely flogging a dead horse on this topic, but the advise of the experts here will truly be appreciated. I send bitcoin from my LUNO wallet to the Kraken exchange (my own asset account on Kraken)  but used an expired deposit address that I used before. Possible to advise how to go about to "recover" these funds...?
In reality a bitcoin address will never expires which means the exchanges got your funds but they won't let you to access is just because they mentioned it in their terms. So only choice is to contact support team and they may consider it to recover for you but less likely to happen.
3384  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: pursuing legal matters with certain coin on: April 24, 2021, 05:21:38 PM
sorry this is for altcoin however it is also legal. I could not find legal subsection for altcoin. I am ok to move to other more appropriate topic.
I am having major difficulty with restoring account with binance and few other tokens. I am in need of legal assistance as those entities has no physical address in the USA and evasive with their contact ifnormation. Any has any expert law attorney office handling the crypto legal matters? Class action?

Thanks.,

Before telling you need the legal advice, please tell us what is the issue you are trying to solve with Binance in USA. Because they also have certain terms and conditions so if you violated them then they have all the rights to do what they want with your funds.

Just because the people I have been on the bounty program complain about getting more staking. I do not believe that forum moderators have reviewed my posts at all.

Most of you guys who comment under this title are not sincere. You're commenting just for comment.

Since you are a part of this list, you can find who reported your posts and he is currently at chipmixer campaign so reducing your stake has no benefits for him.

If you are waiting for the theymos reply about this issue then it may take a while.

3386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has the world become greedier since BTC? on: April 24, 2021, 01:14:39 PM
Since BTC and crypto everyone wants to get rich and earn a lot of $. Everywhere you look it's the same story, be it BTC or any other shitcoin. It's obvious not everyone will make it.

Yeah, getting rich is nice and I also hope it will happen for myself but I feel the society is becoming way too materialistic. Also the greediness level seems very high, everyone want to get more and more.

What's your view on this?
Everyone wants to be rich so they are greedy to make money since when they money system was actually implemented so I don't see any drastic change in the people being greedy after bitcoin and crypto currency. But I can say one thing, people who enters into the crypto currencies are greedier because they are coming here with the thought of become rich overnight.
3387  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fees are so high right now. What's next? on: April 23, 2021, 10:10:19 PM
Which short term solutions are developers working on to tackle high fees (besides the Lightning Network)? Also, how long will a transaction with a mid-to-low fee will take to confirm on the Blockchain? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Smiley

Short term solutions are, make transfer from your exchanges wallet which may have less fee compared to the actual fee you are paying from your wallet. For example if I am sending from my LBC wallet I need to pay around 0.0001BTC which costs you about $5 and the transaction will be confirmed in the next 30 minutes or so but I am make the same amount from single input to single output then I need to pay around 200sats/byte so its like paying half.

Or using bitcoin transaction accelerators!
3388  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Loading deleted transaction in Electrum on: April 23, 2021, 08:58:20 PM
You successfully broadcasted your transaction but it was stuck due to the low fee according to the current mempool weight.

The possible solution is to double spend the funds for that you simply create another transaction with much higher fee so this transaction will be replaced by the new one.
3389  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Viabtc help on: April 23, 2021, 07:08:42 PM
Is the paid version legit?

Or a scam like the majority
It is legit as Loycev said but you need to have BCH in your account and also registration is must for using their paid service. If you don't have enough BCH then you need to deposit.

source : https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator

Are you willing to pay about 25% of the output to ViaBTC?

Is this for real? They are collecting 25% from the total amount sent as fee for their paid service? Their fee structure page don't have any clarification about this.

The 100 sat/vbyte transactions are hovering the 6-7 blocks area, so that would be 60-70+ minutes assuming people just stop sending transactions until them (they won't, so it's probably going to take quite a bit more).
Thanks for your answer, I replaced it with 105 sat / vbyte and it was confirmed in about 25 minutes, with 25 sat / vbyte it seemed eternal.
All my doubts were resolved thanks to all.

In conclusion, I do a lot of small transactions and paying fees of 95 to 120 sat / vbyte to place my transactions in an hour is a problem for me. I am investigating exchange platforms or wallets that use the same localbitcoins system (send by lot) since with this the rates are low and the shipment is fast, if anyone knows any leave it here Wink
Transaction fees on exchanges are higher too and some exchanges have insanse fee which includes both withdrawal fee and network fee with minimum withdrawal limits so just stick with the LBC if you are someone who withdraw small funds too often but don't forget to enable all the security features like email authorization and 2FA.
3391  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Any solution to broadcast with reduced fees? Maybe any other suggested network? on: April 23, 2021, 06:28:36 AM
I don't mind providing my personal info to legit companies. Did the KYC, have nothing to hide (source of my funds is clear/legit) so in my case this would be actually the preferred way to receive such small payments.
Seeing the negative reactions I should note coinbase is unpopular because they were blocking accounts with earnings from gambling.
You already answered your question. Source of your funds are "legit" in "your" eyes not in the eyes of some centralized custodial wallet. They can some day decide that the funds you received (for example from a gambling signature campaign) were not "legit" and shut down your account, effectively never letting you get your bitcoins out.
Gambling is just an example, there are lots of things that could go wrong. For example you may deal with a business that is outside of US and some day US decides that the said jurisdiction is evil and orders Coinbase etc to cut ties and shut down accounts of anybody from there or dealing with people there.
Exactly this happened to me, Just because I received funds from gambling wallet to coinbase they terminated my account but luckily they let me ti withdraw the funds left in there but it may change in future too and especially with coinbase like exchange.
3392  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: wallets or exchanges help! on: April 22, 2021, 08:11:55 PM
LBC uses batch withdrawal system so they can afford cheap transactions in terms of USD but they also used 170sat/byte for the recent transaction you made but when you are using wallet then you are in the control of your funds so you can't share the burden with anyone. Since you used 25sat/byte when the required fee is around 200sats then you have to wait for days or until the mempool clears.
3393  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Any solution to broadcast with reduced fees? Maybe any other suggested network? on: April 22, 2021, 04:11:12 PM
...
Internal transfers are free but it applies only when you send the coins using email or phone number but if you are about to use QR code or address then you need to pay the network fee even if you are sending back the funds to your own coinbase account.

Not completely correct but very good and valid point.

If you’re sending to a crypto address that belongs to another Coinbase user who has opted into Instant sends, you can use off-chain sends. Off-chain sends are instant and incur no transaction fees.

Note: If the crypto address belongs to a Coinbase customer, and the Receiver has NOT opted into Instant sends in their privacy settings, these sends will be made on-chain and incur network fees. If you’re sending to a crypto address not associated with a Coinbase customer at all, these sends will be made on-chain and sent on the respective currency’s network—these sends will also incur network fees.

In other words receiver must allow Instant sends otherwise sender is charged a standard on-chain fee.
I checked for that option in the coinbase app but can't able to find such instant options but anyway its goof thing to know. Another hurdle can be people who already had coinbase and deleted their account for violation can face difficulties too like me. Cheesy
3394  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Any solution to broadcast with reduced fees? Maybe any other suggested network? on: April 22, 2021, 12:32:07 PM
I do not understand tech much. Someone in my PM said I can use Coinbase and ask the participants to give a Coinbase bitcoin address. In Coinbase for internal transaction he said there are no fees. And he also said there are some script I can buy which can do mass payment in Coinbase.

Quote
Or write\buy script to ease managing. ( simple script to create qr codes with address, amount to simply scan and send...)

If such a script exists then where do I find them to buy. Is it safe at all?

It was me.

And yes. Transfers between coinbase accounts are free.
User can provide you with email (they used to register at coinbase), phone nr, or just bitcoin address (users BTC deposit address at coinbase).
While sending they will notify the sender (you) whether the address is internal or not (if not standard tx fee is applied)

Internal transfers are free but it applies only when you send the coins using email or phone number but if you are about to use QR code or address then you need to pay the network fee even if you are sending back the funds to your own coinbase account.

But I won't suggest this idea because coinbase can block funds for no reason and will ask you to complete KYC and etc....
3395  Economy / Economics / Re: Markets taking profit on: April 22, 2021, 07:13:27 AM
A movement such as this is a consequence and it may still be followed by more falls without meaning anything other than a profit taking and some caution around the ATHs.
So anyone who is about to reap their profits then do as soon as you can because as said the price may fall as correction or certain bearish trend may begin. Long term holders keep HODLING!

Surely we are going to see huge price tag for BTC in few years so worth to take the risk.

3397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Where to buy litecoin instantly on: April 21, 2021, 07:24:12 PM
Hi, I am looking to buy litecoin using my paypal account.
Where can I buy instantly without the need to create an account? I saw eToro in google but it requires an account and binance I think has a min. deposit amount .
You can buy LTC on Localcryptos any KYC but I guess you need to create an account which is not a big task to be honest and the trnsaction fee of LTC is really very less so just go for it.

Choose your country and select paypal in the payment mode options. https://localcryptos.com/Litecoin/United_States
3398  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustadice – Next Generation Dice on: April 21, 2021, 06:19:56 PM
Why you guys are discussing that Bustadice site will stop their service just because of the announcement related to the promotional campaign. There is no reason for Bustadice to stop their service because it is one of the mostly wagered and trusted dice site in the crypto and bitcointalk community.

Its actually a very long journey with bustadice but we also need to accept that every amazing journey has an end so their signature campaign is no more needed since the name already everywhere or possibly there will be a new campaign.

Campaign will be ending on 16th may not the site! (I hope no one will again speculate further about this)
3399  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: BlockChain.Com Wallet - Why transaction FEE Is very HIGH on: April 21, 2021, 04:06:11 PM
You didn't lose anything, I am expecting to see 10 satoshi fee probably during this weekend, and you can monitor it if you use mempool.space website
or with my open source browser extension all the time BTC Mempool Fees Extension/add-on for Firefox/Chrome browser.
I would suggest using Electrum wallet in future instead of Blockchain online wallet, and checking mempool before sending your bitcoin.

We passed this weekend - still has n't confirmmed.
TX Link
What is ETA in the link upper?
ETA tells in several hours (or more)!
It looks like you have luck, because normally the fees at the weekends are like very less but this week we see the required fee almost touching 300sats even so wait for 2 weeks and your transaction will be removed from the Mempool so you can make a new transaction at the required fee by that time.
3400  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Uncomplete transaction on: April 21, 2021, 11:43:29 AM
I use electrum to send and atomic to receive
The one on 9th of april did went thru, in electrum, i choosed a server manually because i was getting error message about it until it worked
fees are 2 sat/byte
I do not know exactly what I am doing so i just rose the fee and signed it then send it, let se what happens, thanks for your help
Probably due to the low fee, your transaction doesn't even accepted into the network. Look at the required transaction fee which is worse since the last week.
