If I install windows on a new harddrive, don't connect it to the web ever.  Then install the QT wallet from a CD, run the QT wallet, copy the public address and do a dumppriv key to get my private key and write it down.

Can I send BTC to that public address and then use the private key I've written down to get it 10 years from now or does that wallet.dat file need to be on a computer that is connected to the web at one point?

I thought that was the idea behind that pic?  Trolls vs Gnomes?

He should be sentenced to some community service and home confinement for fair amount of time at most a relatively short stay in jail if you ask me.  This is pretty disturbing to think a judge would even consider allowing such a long jail sentence and that DA should be worried about losing his job for having such horrible judgment on the matter.

I'm ashamed to admit how hard I laughed at the pics because that is a gross act in so many ways.  But there is no way a person should go to jail for that long over something like this, that is the real crime..

WHY?  WHy should he see any sort of punishment?  Please do tell.

Because his rights end where my feelings begin

LMAO.. no

hand over all data or we will rob you of all your money, that's the kind of fascist state America has become.

Land of the slaves Home of the socialist.
the founding fathers are rolling in their graves.

"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is it’s natural manure." - Thomas Jefferson
it is the duty of every American to bring these NSA criminals to justice, Edward Snowden did his duty will you?

2001 we lost the ability to ever grow that tree again.  You gave up your freedom for the idea of saftey.. you gave up your right to be free.  You deserve to be a slave for giving up freedom for saftey.  We have sown our destiny.. so be it now.  It is better to just accept we are slaves then attempt to show others the truth and change thigns.. it just won't happen.

Agreed the volume of doge has been utterly insane.. utterly.

IMO the constant inflation + community backing is HIGHLY underrated.  Doge is the cheapest way to send $ right now?

BTC 5 cents
Doge .01 cent..

I created 200, 100 doge bills via dogeaddress.com.  It is not logical to make a bunch of 2 cent wallets with BTC.

This is the kind of thing that starts civil wars and revolutions.

Not any more.. your means to wage one has been taken form you...

The entire idea of your country was to never late that happen and then.... everyone got scared of some fake video on the telly.  They'd kill 90% of you to ensure the other 10% put the shackles on.
3389  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stealth phase. on: September 15, 2014, 03:42:09 PM
Well, go out in the street and ask random people what Bitcoin, most don't know, but yes, 99% that have heard it have no fucking clue about it beyond whatever clique mainstream news headlines had to say.

That is pretty much how I came to the conclusion.

The amount of:

"Oh I the the CEO died and it collapsed."

"I thought all the coins got stolen and it was at 0$"

" I read it was Illegal in Canada".. (No you didn't.. you were super ass lazy and read the first four sentences of the article you sent me.. dumbass).

"Ya but it isn't backed by Gold like our currency" This one is the best.. just shows how little a lot of people know.
3390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Stealth phase. on: September 15, 2014, 03:28:55 PM
We are in the stealth phase... almost everyone has heard of bitcoin but ask them beyond if they have heard of it and they will just tell you it is a ponzi scheme.

Every company with half a brain is starting to use BTC, most not hold but use.  The average person knows nothing of this and thinks the price is at zero and the "ponzie scheme" has failed.

The next phase will be the early adoption phase, we are not there yet.  Soon enough the average dimmit will understand BTC is not a ponzie scheme, ponzie game, easily hacked, millions more printed by computer programmers, etc.

Everyone assumed we were in early adoption in Nov this was inncorrect.
3391  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Wall Street Myth on: September 15, 2014, 03:21:40 PM
EXCEPT.. the fact ballers "wall street" might already be a 5,10,20,30% holder of BTC and would make a massive beating jacking the price up and selling it at 10,20,30x...

Soooo ya.... There are large chances this is what has happend.  They could keep the price suppressed for years.. even tanking it so low they could become massive holders and only the die hard BTCers and "wall street" would be left with any BTC then.. BAMZO create a small finacial criss.. jump the price of BTC 100%.. watch the public pump it to 20,30x and sell.
3392  Economy / Economics / Re: Corporate entities should have a forced maximum lifespan on: September 15, 2014, 03:12:24 PM
Does not matter they are owned and controlled by private investors...  90% of companies are public... owned by investors who do not have to inform anyone how much they own and of what..

It should be public who owns what shares and how many.. Even more so for the holders of the central banks..

The odds are.. like 9/10 that several families own 80% of everything.

3396  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will bitcoin hit 252,000 USD? on: September 12, 2014, 06:55:35 PM
Hyperinflation is usually a sign of complete collapse of a society and its economy. Despite the prevalence of doomsayers on these forums, people more well grounded in reality realize that the chance of this happening to the world (or even US) economy in the next little while is negligible. In fact, the far more common symptom of the modern style of economic malaise is very low interest rates and low inflation, rather than the other way around.

If the BRICs put massive sell orders on all of the realstate they have bought up here..... all the gold in fort knox * 1000 won't save us.

We have assumed the BRICs nations will not sell all of the debt they have bought or property...  we have been surrounded.. we have given up all of our weapons..  Soon we will beg for forginvess for the sins of the central banks.. May China have mercy.
3397  Economy / Speculation / Re: Something is wrong with BTC on: September 12, 2014, 06:34:25 PM
I really believe we could go either way now. Bitcoin needs at least a certain amount of acceptance in the common public, and if it should fail to achieve that, it isn't exactly wise to speculate on its future growth anymore. Hedge and wait for a definite bull market. Just my opinion, though...

Bitcoin can still rise 1000% in one day...  Shit 10 mintues if the right players decide it's time.

I'd highly recommend a small position at minimum right now.
3398  Economy / Speculation / Re: Newbie mining, rockminer? on: September 12, 2014, 06:31:47 PM
So basically i have never mined before and although i've always been interested in it i really don't know much.
I can get a rockminer rbox 32gh/s asic for $50 aud (0.0960btc), questions are
Is this suitable for newbie miner?
It it a good price?
Is it worth the time?
I know its not profitable to solo mine anymore but im interested to it out try i for a couple of months just to learn.

I have an Rbox, I love the little guy!  Make sure you use a 12Vdc supply or you'll nuke the fan though, if you do take out fan just buy a fan and shoot it at it.

Never solo mined, always pool mined.

I say go for it if it's a hobby.

3400  Economy / Economics / Re: US National Debt / Deficit - How does it end? on: September 12, 2014, 03:34:10 PM
War is something that actually generally will actually stimulate the economy which will generally increase wealth. The businesses that build bullets, and bombs and other "tools" of war will need to hire more workers, as will their suppliers.

It is incredible that people actually believe that. Effectively, you are saying that wealth is increased by doing nothing (and getting paid for it). Where does the wealth needed to pay the bomb builders come from? It doesn't come as a result of making bombs.

Debt from the rothschilds on our childerns dime.

So debt slavery.
