http://dwarfpool.com/xmr/calcWith a hashrate of 6.250 KHASH. (around 25 750ti's) you get around 6.66 XMR per day with the current difficult and miner. That's 0.00986 btc/day. You'd need $0.065/kwh electricity just to break even. A 750 Ti should do around 498 hashes/s just to be on par with x11. That is if we only look at immediate profit and exclude speculative mining. |

Will make a relaunch because everything went wrong: /. Hope it's okay for you and the diff will work out this time.
There will still be an instamine the first 4500 blocks just as with darkcoin but then the diff will work.
The plan with Ecash right now is to have 10x as much coins but only need 1000 cash for a masternode so it will be cheaper than darkcoin.
For future plans, I'm open to suggestions.
You should have stepped up *when* everything went wrong and announced the relaunch. You went silent even after you pushed the update. You can't just leave a coin after launch/update for a few days at a time. I'm a miner and even for me a 4500 block instamine is just ridiculous. You're going to rent even your neighbors' toasters to instamine most of it for yourself. |

Okay then even if the dev has zero coins, some folks at launch instamied the shit, and I mean THE SHIT out of this blatant copy, why invest further energy in this and why not simply Start a coin with fresh chain, decent Name and Logo, Plan etc..
Full disclosure, as you probably know I was one of the few instaminers so I'm obviously biased here. With that said, I don't see a point in a relaunch because this coin is already tainted with a terrible launch and an inactive dev. A random, brand new DRK fork have a much better chance of getting somewhere. And since some people invested a decent amount into this coin already, I think we're beyond the point of a relaunch being reasonable. |

Why would you takeover a coin where 80% of the coin were instamined within the first hours ? Did you look at the first pages of the thread when mining started and diff retarget did not work etc. ? If you REALLY plan to "takeover" a coin or even rename it, start over with a WORKING diff retarget on a fresh chain and a new launch.. Otherwise you are just supporting the original shit from the dev, no one knows who holds most of the coins which where instamined, i'm pretty sure the dev holds quite a lot, just waiting to dump if dev had any coins left he'd be back here pumping it to dump. it's not the first coin i was hired to fix and create features for My thoughts exactly. I think he missed his own boat in terms of mining so he left. I mean he even bought some coins to setup masternodes as far as I know. Regarding the name Darkx, I think it's too close to Darkcoin and people will take it as an attempt to ripoff DRK. But that's just my 2 cents. |

Thanks for this, I will try it. What is the highest stable rate anyone of you have got with overclocking on the 750ti?
Last summer when I was mining cryptonight coins with a couple of windows 7 rigs I got stable hash rates in 270-290 area. Factory OC cards + some more clocks. Just did some more windows testing 7 vs 8.1 and tsiv vs sp, found out two things. sp version gave a bit more stable hashrate and with windows 7 you can use -l 8x60, otherwise overall performance was the same. 8x30 stock gave me ~230 and OC ~255. 8x60 stock ~240 and OC ~270. Card was the lousiest 750ti I have. -edit- This is one of the algos that like memory oc ive set mine mining now for 24hours and i can only say this much ... the amount of coin that is minted in comparison to some others for the work involved is quite small ... the algo is obviously not optimized to the most it can be - so time will tell ... but i think ill be pulling the miners off cryptonight for now until some improvements are made ... does ANYONE know how to oc under linux? ... anyone at all? ... #crysx The reason I haven't bothered much with CN coins is that the fudge factor was too high. I always earned way less coins than what the calculations would predict. |

At takeover yes. But maybe it will be a miracle and dev will return with news...  The dev not just need to return but he has to keep answering questions and pms so even if he posts the takeover might still happen later if people get fed up with being ignored. I think it would be best if the dev and newsflash would find a way to work together. |

Cryptonight sp-mod version 1 exe file has been sendt to the donators. My first afternoon of work gave an increase of around 10% on the 750ti.
This will increase in the next releases.

Do you have an estimate on how much extra hash can you squeeze out of your cryptonight miner? On a sidenote, your spreadminer v7 has the lowest fluctuation I've ever seen in any algo. It only fluctuates 1-3 kh/s. |

Anyone get stuck at block 5550? Can't get past it with the new or old Qt.
The difficulty is stuck at 64 which is too high in comparison of the nethashrate so blocks take longer to solve. A lot longer. |

I want to know why you think he screwed up. he simply changed the number of the reward. without making an if statement or anything!!!1 Wouldn't that mean having a different fork? I don't think pools, miners and exchanges upgraded yet so shouldn't we just forget the upgrade and until a new one comes out with proper conditional changes? that is why i want him to speak! he should revert the changes to main.cpp, then put new proper conditional changes. its easy to do! he need to come and speak so we can fix it. if its not broken now, if it works and he knows what he did, then SPEAK!!! What's the current hash rate of the network?
Not much..
