I wanted to register an army of socks to register for sig campaigns!

looking in the mitchett topic i find few opportunities to join signatures campaigns, the old ones are full, the opened one offers a little amount with many restrictions, yobit that accepts everyone is full too Wink
don't see why people would create new account or buy them to join sig/camp nowadays?
in the other hand prohibiting sigcamp would have a dramatic effect in btctalk imo, would say a fall of 30-50% of posts in the short-medium term and the worst scenario another forum(s) could take the lead in long term (hard but possible)

As i checked last time there are right now probaly like atleast 50 free spots or something and with time there are new ones opening up.
Older accounts/higher rankings earn more money - that is why sig campaigns are so attractive for account farmers.

About the size of payment:
It is like nothing to us in western industry nations but in nations like india and similiar which have 1$ or less daily wage it should be a lot.

actual stand of north koreas food problem:

http://www.upi.com/Top_News/World-News/2016/06/16/North-Korea-reduces-rations-again-for-malnourished-population/5261466088809/

Quote
North Korea is struggling to maintain minimum daily rations for its population through its public distribution system.

The state currently distributes 360 grams daily per person, Voice of America reported Thursday.

Pyongyang's official rations were reduced to 370 grams daily per person in April, which is significantly below the U.N.-recommended amount of 600 grams daily per person, and also lower than North Korea's goal of 573 grams daily per person.

The reduced rations began to be implemented in April and have continued to June, according to the Food and Agricultural Organization. That amount is also 12 percent below 2015 ration levels.

kim is the bes... 2nd best leader in the world, only mr. putin is a better leader.

Not to talk about the North Korean Army:

They dont train, they dont fly, they dont sleep - and the most important they dont even eat.

would be close to funny if i didnt knew that a big part of around 20 million citiziens are soon starving to death.

a nice analysis of a possible collapse of the north korean regime:

North Korea is warning its citizens to prepare for possible food shortages as a new round of international sanctions begin to take effect.

According to South Korea's Chosun Ilbo newspaper, an editorial published Monday in the North's state-run Rodong Sinmun newspapers says North Koreans "may have to go on a long and arduous march, during which we will have to chew the roots of plants once again."

The term "arduous march" was used by the authoritarian regime to describe a famine that killed millions of people in the 1990s.

Chosun Ilbo says it has learned the regime has collected one kilogram of grain from every citizen in the capital of Pyongyang every month, while farmers are being forced to hand over extra food donations to the military.

North Korea needs 440,000 tons of food from overseas donations this year, but has received just 17,600 tons by February.

The United Nations recently imposed a new, tougher set of economic sanctions on North Korea over a nuclear test conducted in early January, followed by a long-range rocket launch in February.

kim is human garbage and so are the people supporting him.

Even a constructive thread can be taken over by shitposters so do we trash that as well?
The solution to this on another forum I'm a part of was to be a lot more liberal with locking threads. For example, once a question was answered or a request was fulfilled the thread was locked to prevent further spamming. This would prevent threads like this and this (which is essentially the exact same topic anyway) from gaining any sort of ground with spam.

How do you stop signature spam when paid signatures are allowed?
You moderate the users, or you remove the paid signatures. While this is a lot easier said than done, I'm hoping that something eventually gets theymos' approval and it can begin to take effect; there's only so much users can do without authority.

1. It's better to attempt to merge those two threads instead? Also, locking all threads liberally would be really aggravating and I feel it may lead for some users - including myself - to leave if done too liberally. It may also move spammers to other threads and spam them.
2. Removal of signature campaigns will also force users to leave. Then there'd be a forum of scammers, account farmers and traders.

the main reason for account farmers are sig campaigns.

scammers are everywhere it is not exclusive to this forum.

well traders are as much part of bitcoin as tech nerds are.

overall i have to say i dont bother much about sig campaigns per se - it is just the stupid shit people are spamming to get their counts up for the campaign.
just somehow get the campaign managers in line if needed with hard punishment like a temporary ban of the sig campaign and stuff.

why is the one half of your last bitcoin green instead of purple?
3389  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Economic destruction of Signature Campaigners on: August 07, 2016, 09:16:20 PM
Well all this is just discussion for now.
Nothing has been proposed and it is just not up to one moderator but all of them and Theymos on the site to approve of having them totally removed from the site all together.

Well, probaly majority of mods are in for it else they wouldnt even bother to discuss it - in the view of how much it would impact the forum traffic.

In the end it will be a decision of theymos but i doubt he would go against the users and mods.

just in case it is already decided, anyone knows if there are other forums that offer sig campagins?

that is what you people are looking for and right now they promise:

1. full payback of the loss btc in the future

or

2. shares of bitfinex or rather iFinex Inc. (not sure if iFinex Inc actually includes more then bitfinex.com - there is nearly no information)

How do you stop signature spam when paid signatures are allowed?

Removing signatures altogether is something we're also discussing. Personally, I'm at the point where I think that's going to be the only solution to stop all the bullshit and hassle that comes along with having them but we're trying to find a workaround too that suits everyone. We know removing signature campaigns is going to have a drastic impact on the traffic here and to do so or enforce fully we would probably have to just remove signatures and avatars altogether for everyone otherwise people would likely still try get around it. I've long said signature campaigns could help improve the post quality of the forum but that would only happpen if every campaign only accepted quality posters and didn't just pay anyone and everyone regardless of post quality and ways to force campaigns to do that is being discussed also.

Ugh - I think we are fucked. And just before vacation time where I wanted to register an army of socks to register for sig campaigns!

What do my fellow spammers think about?
Should we unite like #occupy and stuff and fight together for our hard earned sig spam money?

The end game is upon us!

What about Williams and Sharapova : it's not secret that black people are more powerful, they genes are different from white people.

BS. Black people are some of the weakest among the human races. Look at heavy-weight boxing and fighting sports such as Judo, MMA, Taekwondo.etc. There are some 2 billion blacks in this world compared to 0.5 billion whites. Still, it is the whites who dominate sports such as MMA, boxing, Judo, Karate, Fencing.etc.

You are so dumb and retarded please do something for humanities gene pool and kill yourself or atleast never procreate   Undecided

An ad hominem attack is a nice fallacy, demonstrating that you are out of valid arguments had must resort to insults. Well done, criptix - you just removed yourself from this conversation.

Lol... that guy seems to be in everyone's ignore list. You should not quote him, as it defeats the very purpose of ignoring someone.

The fact that we have 2016 and uneducated maggots like you and Bryant are running rampage on a tech forum like this makes my brain melt.

There are various online and offline science libraries where you could educate yourself while spamming bullshit for some sig pennies.

Tl;Dr. : use Google you retard.

Btw. How low do you have to fall to dope at the paralympics lol

That's stupid. Nobody can invade Russia. They can produce weapons like its coming from a demon hole. You may succeed in the end but they will fck you up so bad you won't celebrate it. No need to say they got nuclear.

You are talking about China.

Russia just doesn't has the money.

Bolder for better understanding.

I read the bolds, i still think the same. You said Russia don't have money and what makes you think China have? They dont need money to make weapons. I hope you get it this time.

(In March 2016 alone Russian increased it gold reserve by 12 tonnes, to 1441 tonnes (as, by the way, reported by Reuters). In February 2016 Russia was be biggest buyer of gold in the World, China being the second.

Shall we continue talking about the myth of "Russia has no money?"

Nemo you are russian so honest question:

Would you rather see Russia depleting there reserves to build weapons or supporting your falling/failing  economy?

@German history

Hitlers rise to power had seveal reason's and you can write more then one book about it.
But in short it was debt and luck that the former German government enacted some good economic policies which showed it fruits when Hitler came to power.

So Germanys economy was rising by a lot already but a world war of course is expensive so in the end they printed new war money especially to trade with conquered nations.

Heavy stuff. I appreciated your post.
One more reason why people think that most US Americans are idiots.

I mean no disrespect; could you elaborate ? What specifically makes people think most US Americans are idiots ? Is it the belief in Jesus Christ and largely being a Christian Nation ?

Israeli Policies ?

I'm curious.

While I'm presently living in the United States as a proud Citizen, and consider this Country my home, I am an "older" man of the world that was born in another country, and have a multi-cultural background.

I know the US is not perfect. Neither is Canada. Neither is the UK. Neither is Germany. God help The Netherlands and France.

I ask respectfully, what specifically is it that makes people "think that most US Americans are idiots" ?

Well most important points were already cited - at this point I want to say that I disagree with spoetnik on a lot of stuff and think he is weird, but when he is correct then he is nailing it - like aggressive foreign policies which equaled to more then 220 years of wartime in their 240 years of existence.

On top of that we have fanatical patriots and religious zealots that are borderline crazy (not able to have a logical argument/discussion) that are leading politicians.

Sounds like some country in the deepest spots of Africa or Asia right?

Hitler said something similar to this and where is he now?

I don't say China is weak though. They are indeed a serious opponent which nobody would want them as an enemy. I am just saying Russia is no different. And they have money. They may don't have as many Benjamin printed papers as the others but they got resources, people, and most importantly: Nuclear.

Woohooo, that is exactly what people say for Erdogan. He also lets Syrians in and gives them free Turkish id's just to buy their votes so he can rule Turkey forever (well, at least as long as he lives, and maybe his kids lol) No surprises that People are blaming Merkel for helping Erdogan. They follow the same strategy.

The difference here is that Erdogan's strategy was a grand success, while Merkel's was an abject failure. Turkey is about to receive €20 billion from the EU, in addition to visa-free travel for its citizens. The Turks are quite happy with it.

I don't Know if you are aware of the lastest events but that visa-free travel and 20b€ agreement is never going to happen. It is a failure for Turks too. And it should be. Turkey and Germany acted together along with USA in order to overthrow Assad and steal his land and oil and they failed. Because Russia fucked them up. And now Turkey is about to change  sides after the failed coup attemp of the USA. Don't get surprised if Turks take sides with Russia soon.

Visa free travel for turks to Russia.

Confirmed!
3400  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The pointlessness of terrorism on: August 07, 2016, 02:52:23 PM
They are terrorists because they are wurthless scums who have nothing good to do in their lives. They can get manipulated easily by another countries and they can do exactly what they are asked.

War is the most profitable business in the world since the beginning. You sell guns, you profit. You sell medicine, you profit. You rebuild the cities, you profit. They waste resources in a war, so your resources become more valuable.

Terrorists start wars almost for free. In fact some of them are so stupid, they actually do it with their own will and completely for free.

Watch "Lord of War" then you ll understand.
The soldiers in any war, umeraet poor. And the generals are getting richer at a time when soldiers die. Similarly, conventional terrorists. Basically it is silly and not educated people. And those who manage an army of terrorists getting their profit. Therefore, your opinion is not correct. Terror, generates income and is very large.
Instability and war in the Middle East no doubt raises the price of oil.  Therefore consumers of oil, such as the USA, should be opposed to instabilities.  Local producers in the Middle East should be in favor of it.

Although they might not admit it.

Except when they can use the situation to move their troops in to protect democracy and rebuild the infrastructure of the region which they destroyed (payed by the destroyed nation via US loans) and finally afterwards let patriotic corporations like ExxonMobil extract the oil.

Does it ring a bell?
