3381  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling for a living or a living for Gambling? on: December 05, 2015, 03:56:22 PM
Ideally, they are the same thing. They're both bad, and they're both gambling. There is no such thing as gambling for a living. The house edge makes sure of that. It's almost impossible to make profit and walk away, and gamblers know that.

Did you know many people in pokerstars make it as a living? They are gamle for years and succeed keep their live nicely.
Some people out there already practice this thing and reach their success . they called pro gambler.

Do you know any one of them? Most of the gamblers are thinking like you that many people are making profits from gambling so they also can try to get more money from gambling. But most of them end up in losing what ever they have than only they will realize it. 100% gambling is not for living but it is just for enjoying the fun.

Yes only in social media or in word of mouth I do hear about Gambling achievers. I also doubt there are complete fictitious stories to temp the common peoples to make them to invest in gambling. It's very much rare to have a successful gambler as a friend.

Yeah I have seen all those guys like Floyd Mayweather or Dan Bilzerian in instagram bragging about how much money they made in a day on a gambling success, but those guys are already rich and basically always win since they are famous too. They may lose a gamble, but if they win, they win the price + the social media following which is money within itself.
3382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Spanish League Prediction Thread (La Liga) on: December 05, 2015, 03:53:58 PM
Barcelona now again on winning track and now looking more dangerous than before so no doubt it will win easily against Valencia but i think both teams to score will nice pick.

I think Barca already won... Real made a fatal mistake, the psychological pressure is now too big after the big loss against Barca (4-0) and the hilarious Cheryshev mistake, I think they will not be able to make it this season after being eliminated from the other Spanish league (del Rey cup).
Barca will win both leagues if they keep a consistent game going.
3383  Economy / Speculation / Re: Back to $ 400 soon? on: November 30, 2015, 06:06:56 PM
Most trades are really shaky and will lose al ot of money in the comming months when the halving starts and we start seeing some insane movement in the price. Only the ones that hold throught the storm will make it and be part of the new floor, the rest will probably sell below this new flor and be left behind and a few lucky ones will sell above and buy back at the right time (real luck involved).
3384  Economy / Gambling / Re: When do we have to stop before experienced loss? on: November 30, 2015, 06:05:17 PM
My strategy is simple, I just put a limit on myself depending on how much money I made on a single month so I don't start losing and getting below my salary + Bitcoin gains be it gambling gains or other. You must put yourself a limit that you would never cross to remain in the positives and never going red.
3385  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any more Skill-based services like this? on: November 30, 2015, 05:52:20 PM
Battlecoin is the best skill based game implementation in Bitcoin I have ever seen thus far... it's so addictive, the developer is constantly upgrading it and he hired an additional coder to make the lag less worse. Once the game is really snappy in the control departments I can see really high bets starting to be played on there.
3386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why in some countries Bitcoin is banned on: November 30, 2015, 05:49:54 PM
Give a man the control of the money and the man will have the control of the people, thats why governments are as nervous as it gets about Bitcoin and thats why they want scare people away to use it. If network effect ensues and people start using Bitcoin en masse then it's game over for them and they knwo it, hats why they have to start dropping all those negative news to try to crush it. Too bad that if we have learned something by now is taht Bitcoin cannot be shut down.
3387  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia's Finance Ministry Wants to Ban Bitcoin on: November 30, 2015, 05:11:14 PM
It is very surprising how many countries and governmental/commercial institutions are so willing to implement features and attributes of the blockchain and the ledger but the idea of utilizing bitcoin is pretty unnerving.

I don't find it surprising, i had expected that for a while. Why? its very simple, if they don't control the money, they can't control people, it's as clear as that. If people are their own banks, why would they need banks, and therefore a goverment supplied currency? Bitcoun outdates the current monetary system and the powers that be are scared about people using it.
3388  Other / Politics & Society / Re: is ISIS really using Bitcoin? on: November 30, 2015, 04:53:46 PM
The fact the mainstream media keeps talking about this nonsense prove how little they know about Bitcoin. It is way easier to get their illicit activities funded with cash rather than Bitcoin. First of all I doubt they know how to properly do the whole thing, which means proper knowledge of mixing, outputs and inputs, tor... it's really annoying, they get things easily done with their illegal oil and drugs business.
3389  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in 2015: Why did bitcoin fail? on: November 30, 2015, 04:47:13 PM
There is constant improvements being made in all fronts. If the price doesn't follow is because people is slow in nature, most people don't get it yet, this should make you happy because you are here already and you can be buying it really cheap before it explodes in price.
While people talk about price, this is happening:

So do your research before saying "it failed" because that's nonsense. Come back in 2 years and look at the price and we'll see.

3392  Economy / Services / Re: [SR. MEMBER] Bitroll.XYZ - Pay for signature and per post - Weekly cashout on: November 29, 2015, 03:46:53 PM
I would like to join, the rates are decent compared to the other campaigns, but OP has scam accusations of people that haven't been paid yet, also, the website doesn't even work, it says "Wallet not reachable. Try again later." when I try to open bitroll.xyz
3393  Economy / Speculation / Re: GRAPH that prooves politics and price are linked , Bulls will get money fast !!! on: November 27, 2015, 06:57:58 PM
Politics have an impact of everything, obviously including Bitcoin price too, but it's too diffuse to try to establish a clear paralel between a pump and some political news, it's the mix of a lot of things that have a bullish sentiment and then something that sparks the fire which can be anything, for example a political news in favor of BTC:
3394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT is happening to Litecoin in China?! :o on: November 27, 2015, 06:53:34 PM
That's an insane pump. Probably it was someone making a mistake on their buy order. I remember recently in the Gemini exchange a guy tried to buy for 350 but went and made a big mistake adding an extra zero so the Gemini exchange had an ATH of 3500 dollars which is pretty funny. The Winklevoss fixed it and reverted the transaction, not that nice.
3395  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Tide Is Turning on: November 27, 2015, 05:46:48 PM
Bitcoin XT is a goverment trojan horse, and even then, it failed. I don't think Gavin coming up with that has anything to do with the headliness on some news sites have an impact on price. The variables are way too many to calculate and reduce it all into a single one that would drive the price up, it makes no sense.
3396  Economy / Speculation / Re: Back to $ 400 soon? on: November 27, 2015, 05:12:41 PM
The latest pump has been a signal that tells us back 400 soon and not only this but 300 range will be totally obliterated in the next weeks, of course that im going to be buying all the way up but I feel sorry for all the guys that didn't even buy back at the 200 range.
3397  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: November 27, 2015, 05:07:08 PM
I still don't understand how any user that has achieved Sr Member or maybe Hero Member, doesn't yet own 1BTC. It takes more than 1 year to be Hero Member, are you saying that you didn't had time to make 1BTC? I think that everyone that has been here for so long MUST have at least 1 BTC. There will not be 1 BTC for everyone so hurry up before its too late.
3398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Eliminate the need to hold dollars, legalize the use of BTC to pay taxes!!! on: November 27, 2015, 05:01:29 PM
However how would one enforce people to pay taxes in a decentralized environment? I don't really see that happening. A lot of people would just skip taxes just because they want to keep that money. Government would go bankrupt pretty quick.

It is impossible that the goverment would enforce taxes because the goverment can't really know what you are doing with your Bitcoin if you get paid in Bitcoin, of course, they can if you get paid through stuff like Bitpay which then report to the goverment, but you are free to work under the table so to speak.
3399  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mentioning Bitcoin the Wright way to Family and Friends can raise your status on: November 27, 2015, 04:55:22 PM
Having a well thought out strategy of introduction can make a very significant difference to how they will react or respond, reguardless of any previous Fud they may have heard which u must also take into account with your strategy.

I made a thread about this asking if I should tell my family and friends about Bitcoin, but I still haven't mentioned it beyond my mom once or twice, I think it's useless because they don't understand it, they don't really get why it's huge, therefore I don't think it's a good idea until we are more advanced in time, maybe when it naturally hits mainstream level through TV.
3400  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what about scammer ? on: November 27, 2015, 04:49:53 PM
People in here as mentioned th ei dea of using a escrow, of course that you should always, always use a escrow! but not only a escrow, but a escrow that will enforce the borrower to deliver a valuable or relatively as valuable as the borrowed money as a collateral, everything else is a guaranteed scam.
