Iron carency? Hemroids?
Go to visit a doctor as soon as possible.

Or too much masturbation. Damnit , young guys always forget about that Cheesy

They have to keep it at a less frequent rate or they become zombies.
3382  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Halloween greetings from the Crypto crypt. on: November 04, 2015, 03:33:28 AM

Virtual money really sounds a bit like playmoney. Cheesy Though the first thought they will have is something like paypal. It is virtual money. Only on the internet. Easily spoken.

And i doubt that someone gets the creeps from the word crypto. Yes, it might be that not everyone knows that crypto means encryption or something hidden but those people who likely will use bitcoin will know. It is still widely a geek currency. And they know what crypto is. So the impression is encrypted money, something hidden. Sounds like safe money.

Everyone who doesn't know what crypto means most probably is not our target group for the moment. They won't understand and the internet most probably is something far away for them anyway.

I know how the sheeple thinks so I think that it's just best if we got with digital currency.

Virtual/internet/etc is not a good prefix because it implies non-existence, or lack of seriousity. People will think that its no big deal or not a real money (as if their fiat is Cheesy) , we have to make it sound like serious , but not too serious because then they get scared of it.

Crypto is also not good because it implies geekyness (how are you going to get 20 year old girls to use it?)  and especially old folks, they will think it's their grave Cheesy

So you have to understand that the sheeple doesnt think, they are based on emotions. So we have to find an emotionally neutral definition = digital currency is perfect imo Smiley
3383  Economy / Economics / Re: America's new debt ceiling - $19,600,000,000,000 on: November 04, 2015, 03:29:08 AM
I dont quite grok the politcs of it,

however, debt is sort of immaterial in a fiat system as 0's are free to add.

eg 100

1000
10000000

10000000000000000000000000

etc.

The US can print its way out of anything. (by print I also me issue debt instruments etc)

Yea but the fiat money is representative of the economy (although not 100% correlation), but it still affects it very much.

The derivative bubble and other ponzi instruments, if the fail, no big deal. But if they start taking the collaterals: confiscate houses, cars, land, etc..

That will mess up the economy + a treasury bond default = no pensions  & no welfare.

You underestimate the enormous damage it can cause when it gets defaulted.

+ $55,000 trollercoaster

NO ONE knows what is going to happen, re BTC and in most things.  We can make educated guesses, and even make decent guesses re probabilities, but no one knows.

BTC is wildly volatile (and that is part of its charm), selling some after a huge run-up is just smart.  Gold is a good place for some BTC profits.  But, the move in BTC may have only begun, but who knows?

I think BTC will stabilize. We could see a correction but who knows.

I personally dont think we will get back to 150$ again. But this is just a mania, it makes me sell my bitcoins, but I wont because I believe in the community!
3385  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ● Why Bitcoin is Not Mainstream yet & my Suggestions! ● on: November 04, 2015, 03:22:25 AM
Regarding my 1) point:

I am still thinking that the gamer/gaming industry is underdeveloped in bitcoin. And i`m not talking about gamblers. I`m talking about video gamers.

So I was just looking at the news and saw this:

www.voxelus.com

Basically this is a gaming platform or content creation platform that used his digital currency. It is in funding phase now but after it gets out it can become really big.

Think of it like this: It can help gamers familiarize themselves with cryptocurrencies, and then eventually get to use Bitcoin too.

So the 180 billion $ gaming market can get a hold of bitcoin too Smiley
3386  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [CATALOG] Good websites to Invest My Bitcoins? on: November 04, 2015, 03:16:27 AM
Does anyone have any experience using 1broker? Just wondering with the price increase of btc right now is it worth it to invest or is it better just to hold my btc until it tops out to invest?

No idea, but ask favdesu:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=130350

He suggested it to me.
3387  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin and Porn on: November 03, 2015, 05:26:56 PM
bitcoin already very widely used for porn....
big site naughtyamerica already implement btc for memberships.

Yea but they need to be careful not to get hacked again or they bust the reputations again of bitcoin.

Hacking is common on sites with sensitive information, theres just lot ofd people good at it this time now that theres is demand fdor hackers.   ashley madison had been hacked months ago and those guys must have killer skills.

Nah from what I head the site had very bad security, its really hard to hack a good secured site, especially if you are a bank and have many security protocols in place.

Even if they rob the money they can get refunded or anulated by tracing them back. With bitcoin's irreversible nature, they need to be double careful.

(Use multisig damnit)
3388  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best current cold storage method on: November 03, 2015, 05:24:44 PM
I'm still perfectly content with paper. I wouldn't trust flash memory or my brain.

But flash memory and brain is fire resistant (if you dont put it near fire)

Paper can easily burn if you have a house fire.

There are many electric items in my house that can catch fire anytime, I dont want it to burn down my private key.
Indeed, fires aren't that rare these days.

Also the one who suggested memorizing your whole private key and address, come on. That's even worse, who knows what could happen in 2-10 years. You could hit your head, get a concussion, get blackout drunk, get a disease, whatever that could make you forget your address and key.

I dont know but isnt STORJ a good place to store your private key?

You can double encrypt it, and then upload it there, and it will be encrypted again. Triple encryption is impossible to break.

And then for safety reasons you can change your address and send the money to new funds every 2-3 years.
3389  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: November 03, 2015, 05:22:46 PM

a war against who? the miners? would be fun lol, they can't simply kill innocenet people, because the excuse is that bitcoin is destroying their fiat system

Many struggles facing bitcoin, and i dont see outright bans in the future.

But definitely expect extreme regulation that will suffocate it in many places. Governments like to suffocate industries with tens of thousands of pages of regulation, it makes them feel in charge of an uncontrollable currency.
3390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Halloween greetings from the Crypto crypt. on: November 03, 2015, 05:20:11 PM

Na, it is Crypto Money. It is a special form of money. It is no new paypal or moneybookers or shit like that. And it should not be twisted with things like that. I think it is essential that Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency are the mainwords. I don't see any negative connections with these words at all. And it should be avoided to be connected to things like paypal. The last thing we want is someone thinks, i have paypal, i don't need bitcoin anymore or if it is like paypal then i don't want it... scammy chargeback thing.

No, bitcoin is a complete new thing and that should be made clear.

How about virtual money/virtual coin..

But that implies that its non-existent Cheesy

So if we say "crypto" they get scared, if we say "virtual" they think its a scam. How stupid the sheeple is Cheesy
3391  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 7 years since first Satoshi appareance ever (I think) on: November 03, 2015, 05:14:19 PM
I wonder what we will be saying in another 7 years and what sentiment we will have about Bitcoin and Satoshi creating it.

There is a long road in front of us in my opinion but I am very, very optimistic. I am also ready to enjoy the ride! Smiley

I`ll try to be here then too. But who knows what the future holds.

Hopefully by then everyone who posted in this forum will be rich :d
3392  Economy / Economics / Re: America's new debt ceiling - $19,600,000,000,000 on: November 03, 2015, 05:12:44 PM
Doesnt that lead to hyper inflation eventually though?
As long as you have enough military force to back the status of your printed paper with the 'trust' of the creditors you are on the safe side.
That is, at least to my understanding, what the US have been performing so far with the US dollar.
At one stage, it may be very easy to get the things out of control, which may lead to hyperinflation among other problems.

Yes but they are losing ground in the middle east.

Plus the debt is going exponential, they cant afford another 1 trillion $ operation like the previous wars, so a civil war or some sort of civil unrest is more likely.
3393  Other / Off-topic / Re: 0.5 BTC reward - smart enough to tell me what is wrong with this book cover? on: November 03, 2015, 05:11:16 PM
Ant carries leafs implies that bitcoin is a commodity that can be stacked and hoarded.

However bitcoin is a currency so there should be some other animal there that shows the spendable nature of bitcoin.
3394  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin Declared Illegal In Taiwan on: November 03, 2015, 05:06:32 PM
Thats your "democracy" folks! Cheesy

Politicians will just do whatever they want and dont care about what the sheeple voters want.

TPTB

I read about some kind of Ponzi scheme going on in The Philippines called something like "MMM", and spread around by YouTube videos (weird, I know).

Is there something like this going on over there?  You're the best one I know offhand to report on this.

BTC was at $360 (up almost 10% just today).  Maybe time to spend some...?

I dont think a ponzi scheme can gather 1.5 billion $.

The capital is coming from chinese investors/ miners/ speculators due to the capital controls imposed.
3396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: November 03, 2015, 04:56:20 PM
It is just virtual commodity, in one day it can fluctuate 35%, far more than our dominant dollar!
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-switch/wp/2013/12/10/this-finance-expert-thinks-bitcoin-will-fall-99-percent-by-june/

So what, its still a small baby compared to the dollar.

Wait a few years, wait a few more millions and then see that the volatility will be smaller and smaller.

After it stabilizes it will be a great money vehicle.
3397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ● Why Bitcoin is Not Mainstream yet & my Suggestions! ● on: November 03, 2015, 04:54:36 PM
Man this Taiwan ban of bitcoin really annoys me. They will regret this later as they miss many bitcoin startups that could boost their GDP.

Oh well, that is "democracy" isnt it. The bitcoin startups will just find another place with more friendly enviroment.
3398  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [CATALOG] Good websites to Invest My Bitcoins? on: November 03, 2015, 04:51:13 PM
I have invested many times before and lost it many times. However, cryptoboose isnt a bad website. But always remember that you may loose your. Tc.

What the hell is cryptoboose? Huh I only know cryptoboost and that's also the first thing that popped out on my mind since this thread is about websites to invest.

If you are really referring to cryptoboost, I do not recommend it since its is a PONZI site! You should not invest on ponzis cuz of the high risk. Just my two cents Roll Eyes

It does look a lot like a possible scam to me.  Also they are having problems: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1203861.200

Running out of  money on hotwallet is not good when trying to get people to use your site.  So I think I would avoid them.

Well its a junior account so there is your hint.

I think genesis-mining should be erased off of your list. they're not trustworthy and change their contracts as they see fit. I lost some money there

Can you explain this in detail, i dont think changing contracts is a scam. Maybe you just dont like them?
3399  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [CATALOG] Good websites to Invest My Bitcoins? on: November 03, 2015, 04:49:22 PM
Well I just checked satoshidice:

3613.54081797 BTC liquid cash = 1.3 MILLION $

They can run away with it any second now, yet they havent in the past 3 years (and back in 2013 that was worth much more).

So I think that is just paranoia, I think Satoshidice is very safe, and trustworthy.

Chances are will they? No they are running profitable... so they do not want to ruin that.  It is a true money making venture.

I like a little more regulation then what gambling sites provide.  But not everyone wants that so it all depends on your risk your willing to do on investments.

I dont think they can get away with stoling that much.

Your little regulation wont help at all in that case. Either they steal it and they get away with it (hard to believe) or they get caught.

Either way your regulation wont help at all, only the police after they get caught if they do it.

So your regulation has no benefits, but it can definitely scare away many gamblers as their privacy would be hurt.

No i dont think any regulation is needed here.
3400  Economy / Economics / Re: [CHART] Bitcoin Inflation vs. Time on: November 03, 2015, 04:45:45 PM
Another week has passed by,another chart:

I can show you a chart every week, to keep track of the inflation. It has went down from 9.94 to 9.91

So -0.03% inflation rate change since last post. The price inflation is way down as the price is way up.

But i`m an austrian school economist so I regard the monetary inflation the true inflation.
