3381  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UK 20% of the gambling venues are located at the poorest part of the country on: August 24, 2021, 09:23:00 AM
...

I think the business owners really know their shit.

They know you can only get poorer by gambling so they don't target the rich people because they are rich because they ain't dumb to play too much.

Instead, they target the poor people because they are dumb and dumb people play more and more and keep getting poorer.

It is a brilliant business decision.

It's something I heard a long time ago, casinos are making more profit from small gamblers who are always trying to make a big profit, and that simply rarely happens. So I am not surprised with this report, poor people wish to get rich and casinos provide the chance for that... Just in the reality, these people are losing from day to day that little what they have.
For sure casinos knows what's good for their business, would be stupid if they don't.
3382  Economy / Gambling / Re: Satellite Betting (Low Delay) on: August 24, 2021, 07:20:06 AM
I was wondering what could be the advantage of this satellite bet? low delay means? you can probably exploit live matches? I think there are some delays on some sportsbook to around 3-5 seconds before it was accepted. Then what's the advantage of this satellite betting? I just got curious.

I don't believe that this kind of betting has any advantages, to me all this sounds like a scam. When you watch a game and you see a goal you can "place satellite bet" in that 5 seconds before casinos update scores! It's how I understand this satellite betting is working, but I don't think this works. It's better to bet on sports in the "normal" way... Do your own research, place a bet before the game and hope for the best.
3383  Economy / Economics / Re: Why don't banks work with cryptocurrency? on: August 23, 2021, 07:14:08 PM
Government-controlled central banks are in charge of banks, and they are supervised and controlled by the government. Bank transactions must include the usage of interest or commissions, from which they might profit, and the use of cryptocurrencies will impact their own interests. Because bitcoin is decentralized and anonymous, it will be impossible to trace encrypted transactions, such as those used for unlawful transactions. Furthermore, the price of cryptocurrency is fluctuating, making it difficult for banks to make a consistent profit.

I think that crypto usage is already taking a cut from banks and governments all over the world, and in future that cur will become bigger. I don't think it will be an easy road, until now we had a clear passage because many didn't get all this seriously, but that is changing and I think we will see some greater obstacles before crypto conquer the world.
3384  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why reputable gambling sites closedown after some years of success. on: August 23, 2021, 01:24:48 PM
It's more questionable why 1xbit aka scam casino doesn't closing down until now? Tongue

It's questionable how they are staying alive through the years?! But they do, crazy world crazy people I would say!

I wouldn't worry about it much. One closes another 5 pop up. And there is a bunch of competition otherwise. I think this is more of a reaction to the ecosystem than something that can really be changed, seems like online casinos of the crypto kind are disposable.

I agree with you, crypto casinos are disposable. We have just a few of them who last for years, on the other side I know many who closed their doors for some reason. I think there isn't some general explanation for that except this is crypto, everything around is in the development stage, and simply many projects don't survive that.
3385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When do you know is time to walk? on: August 23, 2021, 10:56:17 AM
I never heard of this song before, nice lyrics, looks like a real gambling poem... I like it.

Quote
For a taste of your whiskey
I'll give you some advice

Every piece of advice has to be paid, in one or another way! I like this part, it's like that in life. I guess the advice from the song is generally good, learning how to apply them while gambling in moments of excitement is the hard part. Who can do that can hope to become a pro gambler one day whit a nice bankroll and high stakes!
3386  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Things to know before trading. on: August 23, 2021, 07:43:05 AM
Things to know before trading is trading require money, and when the money is involved you can make more, but you can also lose it. People who get into trading without thinking about all aspects will soon find themselves in problematic situations, and problematic situations in trading often mean some loss.
Trading can be a nice source of income if you how to do it, and to come to that you need to learn and practice trading, the only way to develop your skills.

3388  Economy / Economics / Re: Money and happiness. on: August 22, 2021, 12:39:22 PM

What is your opinion on the subject of "money & happiness"?

Nowadays almost everything in our life is influenced by money, so a person's happiness is greatly influenced by money, although not everything can be bought with money, such as love, life, pleasure and others, but if a person lives without having enough money then his life as if very limited because of the increasing need

Nowadays it's  hard to separate happiness and financial stability. We can't buy happiness, but we can buy things that can make us happy. And this is the motto of the modern people, without money you can't travel and enjoy nice things.
Happiness is a state of mind, and I guess there are people who live on the margins of society, people who are connected and live with the nature. The they don't need money at all, but buy they sacrifice something else. We can't have it all.
3389  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Twitch introduces restrictions on gambling-related links - deadline 17 Aug on: August 22, 2021, 06:39:28 AM
...
Even though on a different topic, but there are all kinds of ways how companies can be cracked down on:

https://www.cnbc.com/2021/08/20/onlyfans-bans-sexually-explicit-content.html

No more sexual content on onlyfans because banks and payment providers put the platform owners under pressure. Now you could ask why the hell that is the case, but I guess that authorities are involved. No bank accounts and you are screwed. This could happen to others as well. That's why crypto-only websites might be the safest.

Nice share, I think it's the same topic, regulations are cracking down on popular streaming sites... in Twitch's case, it's gambling, in OnlyFan's case it's porn! In the first place, the government decides to be stricter, and then banks and all payment providers are under pressure to apply some regulations!

Gambling and porn are vices, but it's all normal I think! We all like to play games and have sex! And for that reason, I think that these bans will have just a temporary effect... there will be a demand for both no matter what, and when there's a demand some people will provide! Another thing, people made/making a lot of money from both services, and I don't think they will stop, they will find some way to bypass these regulations!
3390  Economy / Gambling / Re: BC.Game-🔴🔴🔴BET RED IN CRASH!🔴🔴🔴 Find More Unique Games! on: August 22, 2021, 05:20:54 AM
Is betsoft really that good? What I mean is the potential of their games, personally had never touched betsoft games whenever I have the chance to play slots even with demo mode, most of the time I would come to these providers Pragmatic, Yggdrasil, NoLimit, or Play'n'go (the last two was in other sites)

Betsoft probably belongs in the group of high volatility slots! Nice selection of slots, most of them are colorful with nice interface and interesting features like bonus rounds, free spins, chests... depending on the slot! One of the first providers I tried when I joined crypto gambling (before that I didn't have where to play them), and I had many awesome wins (over x1000)! Of course, like any other provider, Betsoft can eat your balance pretty fast with many dead spins if a day is completely unlucky!
3391  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥 BTC365.com 🔥|Best Crypto betting Platform! on: August 21, 2021, 03:57:26 PM
It's useful that you have geo-blocking, so that one knows immediately if one isn't allowed to play, but a list of countries from which you do accept players would be useful info to add to the original post, so that one doesn't spend time trying to learn about the website and all that, and then learn that players from one's country aren't accepted.

That geo blocking thing can save us time if we are in allowed countries or not and by that I think it's okay if they won't list the allowed and disallowed countries in the op and even if it's not listed in the op ,
the list of supported countries were usually written under the terms of service . T.o.s  aren't hard to find either because they are located at the bottom end of every web site

Here is the list, from the site:

Quote
Tier 1 restriction (Can view, cannot register):
1. Iraq
2. USA
Tier 2 restriction (Cannot view, get IP-restricted page):
1. Afghanistan
2. Cambodia
3. Hong Kong
4. Iran
5. Isle of Man
6. Malaysia
7. Myanmar
8. North Korea
9. Philippines
10. Singapore
11. Taiwan
12. Ukraine
13. United Kingdom

If you check the licence it's from E-Gambling Montenegro, and it's usually Curacao! Probably different countries have different rules!

I must say that site looks very nice, and I like profit-sharing casinos! I will probably give it a try these days!
3392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is EOS dead? on: August 21, 2021, 03:14:59 PM
Yeah, EOS Seems dying and didn't doing good development lately especially on the bullish market Before, Comparing to some Smart-Contract Based network that have same use case they are more stagnant, Even Waves that was supposed to dead before was doing some good development with their NFT-Based Ducks game, Tron was same by joining the wave but EOS seems dead, It was really unfortunate since it's have more advantage than the other chains but if they can't adapt then it's suppose to be dead sooner.

You said it right, it's dying! They didn't move a finger to do something in centuries (this is crypto, time if flying like crazy), and new projects now offer a lot more than EOS, 4 billion dollars project! What a joke!
It would be stupid to try to predict when will EOS die, that can happen in the near or far future, at least it's what is waiting for them if EOS developers don't wake up and try do something more! I guess they didn't spend all the money, they should be able to spend some on development!
3393  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🔥NEW game CRYPTOS release 🔥 |⚡️Free BTC+BNB| 📈HotBit listing on: August 21, 2021, 01:43:08 PM

Yes for now, I really don't have high hopes, but I will definitely wait for their moment to be listed on Binance, for those who believe  this is the right time to hunt for BFG tokens. I keep placing orders at low prices while hoping for a surprise like last month, flash dumb and flash pump. you should know ATH and ATL
All Time High: $0.04755
All Time Low: $0.01765

Just curious, what is the plan with the bought tokens ? Is it more: "buy low and sell high" or do you move the coins for staking and/or farming purposes?

Also just noticed that on their sportsbook, they offer some boosted odds on the match Bilbao vs Barcelona.

Now when you see the lowest and highest you have a range and you can have fun with trading BFG... in the meantime, you can stake them, BFG doesn't have to be locked for that, so moving BFG from staking to trading and vice versa should be easy! I am not sure about farming, but I think you need to lock BFG for some time in order to farm...
I guess this is an individual choice, people are free to do whatever they want with their money! And if combing different ways is possible, why not? More things you do more profit you can make at the end of the day!
3394  Economy / Economics / Re: Central bank digital currency will improve the use cases and value of Bitcoin on: August 21, 2021, 12:22:24 PM
I don't think government is making any changes in ther policies to give better monetary policies but all they are doing is regulating it as assets and imposing huge taxes so people can avoid using it just the same concept of using cigarette and alcohol, the high taxes means the government is discouraging the usage.

Not all of them are doing it. El Salvador-like countries will try to implement in a good way. I think govt will not issue high taxes but they will try to regulate the whole system so that people won't enjoy full freedom in their money. That is why many countries issued CBDC and try to implement it in their economy. Banks are also eager to bring this digital currencies to the people.

Let's not mix fiat digital currencies with crypto! That fiat digital will not change anything that's important, fiat will still be fiat, just in digital form, but with the same people on the top who are running the show as before! The only good thing that will come out from this will be rising awareness of digital, but when people start to understand digital they will move to crypto as something better than fiat!
Istiak2277 is right, not all countries will try to discourage people from using crypto, some will/are very opened and friendly to crypto! I believe we will see more of that in the future, and the ones who oppose strict rules about crypto will have to rethink their decisions in the future!
3395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Gamble as a newbie on: August 21, 2021, 11:34:39 AM
Gambling is not a way for you to get rewarded.
If you are looking for the possibility to earn money, then stay away from gambling.
If you are looking for a way to have fun and ready to spend some budget on the entertainment, then welcome Wink

I have been active in the gambling field for several years and I can only agree with @GamblingBro. Gambling is a highly speculative thing, in which the vast majority lose money instead of winning. You should rather concentrate on other ways to earn money safely. Gambling is not one of them.

Exactly! Gambling is entertainment... it's something you spend money on and not something where you look how to earn! Yes, gambling sessions can be profitable, but not all of them, sometimes it's more losing than winning... but that's gambling, ups and downs are pretty normal!
Gambling is a way to have fun, people should never risk more than they can afford to lose! In a case of some nice win even better, but it's gambling and chances of losing your bankroll are high!
3396  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC on: August 21, 2021, 07:30:13 AM
So many newbie accounts popping out of nowhere and leaving positive feedback for 1xbit implies that one or more idiots behind the scenes are using sock puppet accounts in order to promote this site.

Whoever is behind this scheme is simply wasting his/her time since this makes this site seem even more shady and suspicious. Grow up!

all accounts were created on the same day:
...
it's definitely the end of this site, doing that is the lowest level of despair that a site ever gets.

I agree with both, this is the lowest level and as Haunebu said, this makes 1xbit even shadier!

...
Fucking shill accounts, now SCAMMER 1XBIT  aside from paying Signature campaign participants now also hiring spammers that will create multiple accounts hahaha.

Now you only showing what Kind of site you are , Scammer .

Instead, to spend money to try to fix their reputation, 1xbit is spending money on marketing... and what kind of marketing?! This will create the contra effect, we are not so naive to believe these newbies and red-flagged members from their campaign!
This is clearly the wrong way, and it's becoming hilarious what 1xbit is ready to do!
3397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are some individuals hostile to Bitcoin? on: August 20, 2021, 08:20:01 PM
Some individuals were hostile to electricity, cars, computers, the internet... and I believe this list doesn't have an end! Haters will hate, many will not understand what they hate, but they will hate anyway!
People don't understand what is fiat money, where it comes from, the factors that can affect the value, and all other basic things! How to expect some people to understand Bitcoin and decentralized systems? It's like a hard task, and I know it, I tried to explain it to many... and the majority was confused with all the things I said! For them it's "something invisible" and they don't wish to bother with learning more! I tell them that Bitcoin is "more visible, transparent" than fiat, but they can't get it!
I didn't quit trying... like with kids, you can't allow yourself to get tired from repeating, it's how kids learn... apparently that works for many "adults" as well!
3398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A Question to All DOGE HODLers on: August 20, 2021, 06:57:38 PM
Doge community is strong! I think this is like a fact now, Doge is still around and making records! To be honest, I didn't believe that will happen in the way it did, but it's what it is, Doge is a very popular meme coin and with certainty, we can say Doge is here to stay!
With that said, and Doge rising popularity, I think this kind of project that OP presented can be interesting and profitable!
3399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Keep casino tokens or sell for new investment? on: August 20, 2021, 06:14:23 PM
I gamble for my casino tokens, and I receive daily payouts from that! I am not planning to sell them anytime soon, I am still gambling and earning them, and I will continue to do that! It's a nice combination for all of us who like to gamble, we get something extra from our gambling sessions, and there's no reason for stopping doing that!

Will you get $1 daily or more depends on your bankroll for gambling and your gambling style! The ones who gamble more can mine more tokens and they will receive higher daily payouts!
3400  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The recent surge in Covid-19 is making vaccine makers to have a rethink on: August 20, 2021, 05:15:06 PM
...
In short, my current views coincide with what's written in this tweet:

It's not like that... these doctors you are talking about are getting their paychecks to sell different drugs! It's their job, they get bonuses from farmaceutical companies for that... when we are at that, it would be interesting to see who is on the pharmaceutical paycheck list! I would say all of them who are trying to scare people with numbers, repeating those numbers daily, every hour... brainwashing campaign! And it's going great as I can see!

And this forcing/blackmailing people to take this covid vaccine, what is that? Why they are doing that? Why they are targeting our kids? It's not about 1 or 100 articles, it's about logical thinking... why would we force healthy people to take some vaccine, why would we force kids to do that? Is that normal?
