Nets' bad performance in the first quarter caused them to lose against Suns by 121-111 last night. I was expecting a result like this though. In the absence of KD, Nets are having serious problems this season recently. They got their fifth consecutive loss and they have dropped to the sixth place in the standings. This is not good for them as they might go down to the area which they would have to play extra playoff games. KD is out for a long time and I hope that they can collect themselves until then.
It's not just KD, this is also the result of having a star that is just being inserted in road games. It is not healthy for their bench players and even their first five. Plays will go messy and sometimes they won't even know what to do or who to obey and where the play should be. Scary hard foul by Harrell to Giannis. The Nets management should settle this matter at once because Irving is obliged to play both road games and homecourt and also get vaccinated because he signed a contract to them. I blame Frank Vogel. He used to be one of my favorite coaches before this year, but he’s absolutely terrible for the Lakers. A team with 5 hall of famers and Malik Monk is leading them… Dwight Howard playing at a top level and getting next to no minutes is downright disrespectful. If Frank Vogel is still the Lakers coach after the all star break then I’ll be shocked. He’s a great guy and like I said one of my favorite coaches, but he’s got to go if the Lakers want to have a chance of getting beyond the first round of the playoffs, and to be honest if he’s the coach I don’t see them getting past the play-in game.
I'm not sure why Vogel even deserved the credit for the Lakers winning. But yeah, it's definitely time to swap him out for someone else with fresh ideas and a better leader in my opinion. It's not an easy job and definitely not for anyone so the Buss family needs to choose wisely. But honestly, the championship chances with LeBron at the helm is slim - he is aging at the end of the day. I really think so too that the management should let Vogel go and find another head coach who can truly help the roster as he's not really that effective anymore on the Lakers this season. That's their only option for now, it's a pity seeing them in that situation when infact they had the best all time players too especially LeBron who have so much burden on his shoulder despite of his age. If this really continue with Vogel as their head coach, the chances to be in the playoffs to are indeed slim what more in the Finals. Just saying! |

I like the odds on Thurman by KO win. I think Keith will go for a big win here and show the world that he is definitely back. Sort of sending messages to the rest of the welterweight that he is back to reclaim his title (and this is what he is saying when he is being interviewed for this fight).
So it doesn't matter what round will Thurman get the KO, maybe it going to be in late rounds.
But still, it will be a hard fight in the beginning for him, a lot of adjustments and then if the KO is there, he will go for it.
It's somehow expected that Thurman will go berserk mode in either the middle rounds or late rounds because in the first few rounds he'll probably overcome the ringrust effect first before he can fight comfortably and confidently. But sure that won't be a problem to him as he's a former world champion. Both fighters are so dedicated and determined to win this match, they have their own reasons why and we probably know that already, anyway we will see it soon. |

Of course both boxers will do everything to win. We should not stay confident that Thurman will win just because of records.
If others don't know, other analyst thinks that Thurman is already rust. Barrios on the other hand is active and given with a chance that he can win on this fight against the former champion, Thurman.
That's bad for Thurman that many analysts think that he is rusty and that many are siding on Barrios against him which isn't nothing to be surprised, we always want fresh and active fighters more than those who rest. But at the end of the day, we don't know what's going to happen next, maybe the ring rust for Thurman isn't that heavy so we might still see a decent match against Barrios. Thurman's boxing experience can speak of that, he's still a pretty decent fighter even if he rested for a couple of years and he still can be lethal if Barrios will underestimate him or lower his guard for a bit. It's been adjust for the betterment I guess, thanks for the update and changing alert level will allow the full resumptions of the game and with lowering it to alert 2 means that in any time soon the crowd will also be allowed to watch the games, I more on seeing them inside metro and not in a bubble type setup. Very familiar venue and players don't need to adjust, practices will also be resumed and they can work everything in a normal way. Let's hope for the best and enjoy picking our bets.. Bucks vs Knicks, The Bucks needed a win to snap their losing skid right now and the Knicks might be a perfect victim. And it will be in their homecourt so I guess -9.5 for the Bucks in this game.
The line is really too high considering that the Knicks is a decent team. But I like the line, it tells us to bet on the Knicks but what would happen in this game is that the Bucks will dominate them and win by more than 10 points, I hope my expectation will come into reality. I'm with you mate, though the spread was pretty high, I'm still confident that the Bucks could defeat the NY Knicks for more than 10 points tomorrow and I have faith that they will bounce back in their own homecourt after their huge loss against the Cavaliers with 16 points. Heat will win this, I also favor them to win on their home court, however, the betting line or the point spread is very high, I think the Clippers will be able to cover it as they are still very competitive despite losing their 2 all stars (Leonard and George). I know I will enjoy watching this game, I hope my expectation that it will be a close game will happen. Yeah, the Heat looks clearly the favorite in this match. However, there are rumors that Butler is questionable tonight. So it might be a close game if he doesn't play. It's also worth noting these teams have already faced each other this season, and the Clippers showed that they can beat the Heat.
