3381  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Wallet's and their compliancy with law enforcement on: November 19, 2021, 10:49:17 PM
Hello.

My query is very simple. If a law enforcement agency approached a wallet provider such as Coinbase, regarding acquiring information about the account holder, do they comply?
They will because they are regulated, but the regulator would only ask for information from Coinbase if they are looking for a suspected wallet or person that might link with the coinbase. All regulated exchanges are required to comply with the regulatory requirements, basic requirements are KYC as it's necessary for tracing or investigation when fraud or money laundering is committed by a certain person or entity.

I would understand why Coinbase would, but what ones specifically do not? If anyone knows, let me know.

Before someone comments it, hardware wallet's such as Trezor's etc are not an option.

Thanks.

use electrum, it's completely safe based on my experience as long as you don't go to phishing sites to upgrade your wallet and no KYC requirement for using this wallet.
3382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 19, 2021, 09:52:35 PM
I already put my bet on the Warriors, not sure if I will cash out, accept few losses and then put it on other games.
Do you mean you put your bet on the Warriors in today's game against the Pistons? As reported, 4 players are out, so maybe this time they won't be able to come back again as the Pistons are very desperate to win and they'll take this opportunity to beat the Warriors without their best player, and the best defensive player in the team.
3383  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 19, 2021, 09:32:23 PM
Pistons will likely take this opportunity to win against an undermanned Warriors. Good thing the Warriors rest Curry as they don't want to see Curry get's injured and will make the team struggle, this season is their best chance to be champion again as long as Curry is healthy and Thompson will be able to play this season, so they need to make a wise decision.

From Pistons +7, the line now is down to +2, So the odds is still good for the Pistons.

Here is the injury list per player

Iguodala - Out Fri - Knee
Porter Jr. - Out Fri - Foot
Curry - Out Fri - Hip
Green - Out Fri - Thigh

3384  Economy / Speculation / Re: will we witness year end bullrun or bull trap? on: November 19, 2021, 11:35:17 AM
Some investors easily panic when they see a huge dump, these are investors who probably invest in crypto without understanding the nature of the market. Why would we panic if bitcoin will fall 10% in a day when we already witnessed it pump more than 10% in a day? It doesn't make sense, right?

If we are here to invest in the long run, we should understand that volatility is normal and bitcoin never fails to amaze us when people slowly lose hope.
So, when people are wary, that's the time to buy as most likely the whales will pump the market afterward.
3385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Share your betslip here and inspired the gambling community. on: November 19, 2021, 11:08:29 AM
Being an active member who usually visits and posts on gambling boards, I can help but notice posts related to "gambling addiction" which results in deeper problems, so I'm thinking, how about let's share some positive vibes by sharing our winning bet slips here so they will also think that we can actually win in gambling.

I suggest that you share your personal betslip and maybe put some remarks/explanation on how and when you won it, that way you can always come back here and reminisce about our success in this long journey.
3386  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs. Ilunga Makabu on: November 19, 2021, 04:11:46 AM
I'm surprised that after Canelo becomes an undisputed champion he is planning to have another fight.

This guy does not want to rest, he wants to always continue to be in business and that is by beating fighters, this time still a bigger fighter but not a known name IMO. So maybe he should make it happen, in bigger weights, there's bigger money, so if he could still reign there, that's another big success of Canelo and more praises he'll receive as a fighter.

This guy is really huge, look at is highlights here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JF07uecaQvs
3387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 19, 2021, 03:30:08 AM
That was an amazing comeback by the Warriors, they were down big time but they manage to come back in just one quarter.

Warriors limit the Cavs by 8 points only while they made 36 points in the 4th quarter alone.
I thought Curry was injured he seems to be having an easy game with 40 points and 9/16 from beyond the arc.
Did you take the live bet when the warriors are down?
3388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 18, 2021, 11:26:14 PM
Tonight we have a few games and I think that Cleveland can mess up Warriors

I really don't think so, I'll be gong with the Warriors here, the spread is at -9.5 and I'll be taking it, Warriors are the big deal right now, and I don't see an undermanned Cavaliers causing much of a trouble.

I also have an eye for the Clippers ML vs Memphis Grizzlies.

True, I don't think that the Cavs can pull a surprised against the Warriors, unless Steph Curry is not playing. But I don't like the -9.5 though, maybe it's a trap, I don't know. Cleveland is also pretty bang up, but they might want to get this game as close as they can.

I like the Toronto vs Jazz, I think the Jazz might pull this one off against the Raptors.
Although the Cavaliers played a back to back game they are at home now, this team are good at home and their defense is good, so yes, that -9.5 could be a trap, maybe we will see an upset here, who knows.

Curry is questionable to play due to a hip injury (new injury).
https://cavaliersnation.com/2021/11/17/warriors-stephen-curry-questionable-to-play-versus-cavs/

They can rest him of course since the warriors without Curry can handle the Cavs, but the spread is too high to cover.

About the Jazz, I doubt they'll cover that -10.5, Raptors is a good team, so again, we might see an upset as it happen to the Jazz against the Heat and Pacers.
3389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 'Squid Game' cryptocurrency scams $2 million on: November 18, 2021, 11:09:17 AM
I heard about this coin but did not invest.

Though $2 million is just a small amount compared to the money going in and out in crypto but for a scammer to take $2 million, that's already a jackpot. This tells us that there are still newbie investors out there who do not have enough knowledge in crypto but went so aggressive, if they understand the basics, they would not fall for that scam.

I can't believe that volume that time was $11 million _https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/squid-game/
Probably the scammers trying to pump the coin with their money and take the money from those who ride with the FOMO.
3390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 18, 2021, 10:34:17 AM
Indeed, they are leading 3/4 the ways, until Lillard and CJ hits their outside shooting and you can sense a comeback. Nurkic though taking advantage of the small Bulls lineup, without Vucevic.

Good with by the home court team, lost my bet as well for the Bulls. I thought they are really unstoppable in this game, which they are, specially Lavine and DeRozan, but the TrailBlazers can't be deny this time.
Yeah, this was a tough loss on the Bulls they led for more than 20 points at one point then Blazers picked up some steam in the second half.

I went for the Bulls +3.5 live spread at the start and thought it's already a lock after the half so I stopped watching but good thing I tuned back in around the 4th quarter and cashed out my stake when I saw the Bulls struggle while the Blazers are chucking down back to back threes.

Who would expect the Blazers will come back and win.

The bulls had a good start, they were up with a comfortable lead but I feel they get tired in the 2nd half. Well, you can expect that because they played and beat the LA Lakers and LA Clippers in their previous game, so here they are just a little exhausted.

I thought Lillard was out because he was reported previously as questionable, but good thing he played and he help his team to win. However, I feel if the Bulls have enough rest and they'll play again, the Bulls would not anymore collapse int he 2nd half.
3391  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 17, 2021, 09:47:18 PM
And last night, Curry's huge performance helped the team win the game a lot by 117-99. He scored 37 points.
They have no problem winning that game as they literally demolished the Nets. We might not see games like that in the future so we will never forget this battle between the two greats in the NBA and this would be a wake-up call for Durant and his team to think that the Warriors are a real deal this season.

Maybe it's time for Irving to come out and follow the protocol if he wants to help his team because as I've seen in that game, the Nets will not likely have a decent chance of beating the Warriors if both are lucky to be in the Finals.

Let's also read the statement of Nash about the loss.

3392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Adult Entertainment Coins the next thing? on: November 17, 2021, 12:34:00 PM
I heard a lot of adult coins in the past but I've never seen at least one coin which are successful, so I like to make a conclusions that they are not a good investment. Even the news on the popular coins in the market where they are accepted in a popular pornsites does not make a hype, so it's not really a game changer.

Thank you @Japinat for the tip with the Clippers bet.

Hmm... don't thank me, I did not actually give a tip on that game, I was just posting the spread of the favorites on the games yesterday. My bet was Nets -2.5 and I lose that bet because the Warriors dominated them, probably their worst loss this season, while my first bet was on Jazz and I just ended up the day with a break even record, but I lose a bit due to odds that I got which is only 1.90 for the Jazz.
3394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does the BULL MARKET Affects the NFT markets on: November 17, 2021, 08:00:27 AM
NFT and other markets will always follow the status of bitcoin, if bitcoin is bullish they are bullish, if not then they'll be bearish.

The hype of the market always starts if bitcoin has a bullish movement.
IIRC, altcoins were not bullish until bitcoin hit its ATH last year breaking the $20k (more less) ATH, and then the bullish run starts or we call an altcoins season for the altcoins market.
3395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 16, 2021, 01:36:04 PM
What do we have for tomorrow?

Only 3 games are available to bet and we have the following games.

1. Golden State at Brooklyn -2.5
2. Philadelphia at Utah -8.5
3.  San Antonio at L.A. Clippers -6.5

Utah is currently on a 2 losing streak, and Sixers are probably gonna play without Embiid, so is this the right time for the Jazz to break the losing streak?
My 2nd bet is probably on the Nets -2.5 at home.
3396  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 13, 2021, 11:38:16 PM
I didn't know that there was a really great game on TV now which is between Utah Jazz and Miami Heat in Vivint Smart Home Arena. We are in the 2nd quarter now and Miami Heat maintain their lead by a 41-27 score. Utah Jazz have been terrible in the 2nd quarter so far (the current quarter score: 3-14). But considering that both of them started the season strongly, I think that Utah Jazz won't lose home with a big gap. But I don't expect Miami Heat to lose here.
If Utah Jazz will lose, it will be their 2nd straight loss as they also lose againts the Indiana Pacers. This team is good of coming back so I expect them to come back in the 4th quarter but for bettors, that +8 now looks like a winning bet already.
3397  Other / Off-topic / Re: New billionaire BITCOIN : 1000 BITCOIN! Holder is the Winner on: November 13, 2021, 09:35:34 PM
The holder cannot be a winner if he cannot withdraw the funds, it's only on paper but in reality, you cannot get it.

A person who had 1000 BTC would probably need to be careful, he doesn't share his information online as we know how dangerous our life would become if people would know we got that huge BTC. At the current price if it remains untouched that would be over $64 million, so it's not really a billion.

The point here is don't trust all your bitcoin in an exchange, storing there will only give you a problem in the future as they could cheat by locking or freezing the account for fabricated reasons only, remember that not your key, not your wallet.
3398  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Trading on Binance Without KYC via Safepal? on: November 13, 2021, 08:43:34 PM
You might wanna check this/ TRADE IN BINANCE WITHOUT KYC – Safepal Wallet... Watch the video and the author explains how it's done. Personally, I have not tried using it to trade with Binance as my account is fully complied with the KYC requirement, but you can always try a new option if you don't want to get verified but I'm afraid there's a risk in doing it.
3399  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is not meant 4everybody on: November 13, 2021, 07:51:17 PM
Obviously it's not for everybody, just like having a job or a business, you only do it based on your skills and passion, without that in you, you'll never be effective in the field you are trying to pursue. Trading is very risky, you are investing in yourself here, so you also have to ensure that you understands what you are doing and you believe that you have the skills to be successful.

........

You are trading and you keep losing, two options for you;

1) Stop trading
A.) Stop trading and get more skills

You don't do this, you'll only stop if you don't want to get more skills, stopping means quitting or ending your journey in trading.
3400  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it true that Mt Gox funds are going to get released? on: November 13, 2021, 11:59:48 AM
The amount of BTC stated will not all enter the market, there's maybe a dump because of the FUD but it will only be a temporary dump as there are a lot of investors who still think the current price is cheap so buying wouldn't be a problem.

This is probably the news you are referring to.
