3381  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: January 20, 2021, 08:40:28 AM
The table is looking like the beginning of the season where smaller teams are seen as title contenders. All attention on Leicester as they recently beat Chelsea and topped the table but also keep an eye on Everton.

Man U and Man City should retake the the 1-2 position when they play later today. Who else is wishing a Man City-Aston Villa draw?  Grin

I remember when Everton was doing so well winning games and scoring for fun, but every team has found a patch for not being able to score or win,,, this means Liverpool is finally having "their turn". Do you think we will see a winner with only 80 points this season? Why not Villa win and not just draw? They were also high flying early season;)

"Always listen to your gut feelings" is exactly the sort of atttude that gets a lot of people in trouble;) And what got me in trouble,,, in 2017 with some ICOs.

This time of course I listened to my gut feelings NOT to get into defi and I am not regretting it for sure, even if a lot of coins made a lot of money, many more happened to be exit scams:)

Also, expect only 2:0 for Arsenal, unpredictable Arsenal. But it seems Newcastle is with Sheffield worst team in the league and it's very predictable. they lose for sure. In the last 9 matches, only 2 drawn and 7 lost. nor do they still know how they took a point from Liverpool.

The same Newcastle that finds a way to stay in the league season after season. They were exciting under Rafa Benitez but to nobody's surprise they managed to become normal Newcastle that fights to draw,,, and I guess they got confident after getting a point from Liverpool. That was a case of the Reds not performing but guess Newcastle thought it was them being great;)
3384  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New Earning Methods on: January 19, 2021, 07:09:36 PM
Participating in bounties I considered it as my part time job but those people who asking you about the job this bounty is not perfect for them, as you said they did not understand so it's not recommendable, they don't have yet knowledge about cryptocurrency. There are many ways to make money online just tell them to search in google there were many articles how to make money on internet but if they want online job only two sites that I know Upwork and Freelancer.

I think bounties were never meant to be a job,,, the 2017 bullrun was what raised expectations from both sides (hunters and the bounty providers). I always saw my campaigns here on this forum as additional to what I liked about the project, and a way to show support other than buying or holding. These days though,,,
3385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 19, 2021, 05:52:17 PM
In other regular situations I am sure Huntelaar would have ended his career at Ajax if nothing else happened, however Schalke is not looking good this year and they are reaching to him as a savior for them, and probably offered him more than just money, probably some coaching chances at youth teams and all (which I am sure ajax probably did as well) and other stuff, but going to a team to save them versus staying with a team to be champions are different feelings.

When you are so sure about championship and you know that you are not the reason for it, giving yourself a challenge must feel a lot better, plus this guy has lived so many success in his life, I am sure another championship wasn't really that big of a deal, but if he goes to Schalke and manages to help the team not relegate and they stay at Bundesliga another season? That would be awesome ending for him.

Probably he would be a back up option at best at most clubs,,, not sure about Schalke but I guess they are so desperate now, if the guy is as good as he was in the past and can handle the pressure of all those expectations, it could be a good marriage.

But to lure a player away these days from clubs they love and who love them back, it is more than money.
3386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum just broke an ATH price on: January 19, 2021, 05:15:38 PM
its not about trading on exchanges, but like the example i gave before about Gods Unchained game,  if i want buy a card that cost 0.000001 eth , i pay gas around 0.025 eth ... not doable ..
but we will see where this will end , the noices about eth2.0 will bring a solution for this , but then when will this come ? since 2018 / 19  i am waiting for it ...

And that simply is the problem ETH has to overcome first. To make it so that people do not spend more than the thing they actually want to buy or the smart contract they want to execute,,, which is ridiculous by any means.

But fixing that problem they have sacrificed stability,,, let us see how ETH 2.0 fares in an attack first and if that will determine how many people remain on the chain.
3387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 3 things to check before joining a crypto bookie (KYC, Provider, Reserve) on: January 19, 2021, 04:02:09 PM
I feel like the third requirement is almost impossible to look at unless you are a pure crypto bookie. This is where p2p is kind of the best in my opinion, since the market makers already stake their bankroll there and it is all smart contract or escrow funds, you win the bankroll, or they win your stake. Most casinos would be uncomfortable sharing it.
3388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH’s “top” this market cycle? on: January 19, 2021, 03:28:27 PM
I honestly would never have thought to see it so soon,,, but it is finally here ETH back at the ATH of old.

Now everyone of course is talking about $2,000 and I for one will be quite happy to have it but we all have to be careful now of the crash that should come before then;)
3389  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: January 19, 2021, 06:59:21 AM
Very happy to also report won the nice multi with the Flamengo win to cover all bases,,, feels nice all the way. I did NOT pick an Arsenal Betbuilder as tempted though, which was a shame as my normal selections would have passed (including Aubameyeng scoring). Well done Gunners!
3390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Breakout Time For NEO? on: January 19, 2021, 06:25:05 AM
I have to be honest OP and say that the Chart looks really unhelpful when you put it like this (all time market timeframe). I bought some NEO too,,, thinking it was a dip during that third or fourth red candle you can see when it went down from the peak but it never recovered as you can see. Volume looks interesting but I think this is only hopeful, nothing more:)
3391  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔮 Futuur - Predict the Future! 🔮 on: January 18, 2021, 03:54:25 PM
Yes, I know that I just point out that it seems more confident to bet on those who will know the result for a long time if only Ooms can be used here as a bet because many people have noticed who predicted it so I ask if it can be bet using BTC.  I also plan to bet here using Bitcoins, but I prefer to bet those who will know the result immediately like sports.  And just use Ooms for questions that will take a long time to know the result just like in the next few years.

Very interesting all these concepts of betting on long outcomes that will settle in years. I know in traditional markets they have some of these contracts like these that you can partially settle early if your desired outcome happens sooner than anticipated. And people hedge all kinds of investments on every outcome. Too complicated for me,,, I admit it, but certainly very interesting to learn about especially with blockchain smart contracts that settle the contracts.
3392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Survey: 25% of crypto users not securing assets as well as they think on: January 18, 2021, 03:20:45 PM
I don't think their cryptocurrency or Bitcoin will lose totally or will not be use forever. Since if you deposit or hold your cryptocurrency on centralized exchanges, it will automatically owned by the exchange, they own the keys. So the major problem if ever the exchange will be compromise, it may be hackers incidence or owners will decide to run your cryptocurrency, then for sure they can still use it.
I think you misunderstood what OP is saying.

This is assuming we are talking about big and recognized exchanges though. Some exchanges I know that some people use do not even have private keys or real wallets. You literally deposit cash to buy Bitcoin or crypto, and you get the balance in your account but you cannot withdraw it only you can sell it:) Fake crypto with no wallets:)
3393  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why would anyone use a betting broker? Have you tried it? on: January 18, 2021, 01:48:27 PM
My input: This is normal in places where gambling is either illegal or is hard to find. Especially where I live, not everyone can easily find a sportsbook online (there is impossible to find in physical locations).

Then you have regular bookies, or brokers who take your money and place bets for you at odds you want (so you are saved the trouble of waiting to get your odds). These brokers also match people as in real life P2P:)
3394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH’s “top” this market cycle? on: January 18, 2021, 01:12:09 PM
Yes, I still believe ethereum will not just stop in $1,200 as the high price, but the price will be increased to $2,000 because the price has a big chance of reaching the peak in the next altcoin season.
But we do not know if ethereum will be the first one that will hit a new all time high because the other coins will have the same opportunity, and I think the other potential coin will have the same thing to increase.
We need to be more patient to wait for that, and maybe we can buy more to add in our wallet.

I have lost count of the times people are just proclaiming random price predictions just because "of the big chance". Where this analysis comes from is magic?

I totally disagree that all coins have the same opportunity as each other. From project to project, they have to have different factors (apart from 90% of coins that look and act all the same as each other).
3395  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⭐BETCOIN.AG-#1 Casino, Sportsbook BTC BCH ETH LTC XMR DASH XRP USDT-est. 2013⭐ on: January 18, 2021, 10:58:20 AM
nice that there are 2000 games in a casino, but I think most of them just don't get around to it.

If you want to play 2000 games a day, it will take you a while. Maybe a nice challenge for 2021. About 2000 games, that's about 6 a day.

Let's hope you don't lose too much money when you played all the 2000 games.

Great point. We think the best part about a big gaming selection is that there is something for everyone, so they are always entertained. It would be very impressive if someone actually tried them all!

Definitely someone has done it in every casino I am sure. I even tried this a few times in the past (normal online gambling not yet crypto) just to test my luck at all the slots jackpot. Problem with this is,,, even one spin a game means a lot of lost money in the end considering low RTP for most slots in general;)
3396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is better, ether or bitcoin? on: January 18, 2021, 08:50:58 AM
You mentioned the first and second top coins of cryptocurrencies which is bitcoin and ethereum for me both are good investment. Why not diversify your  100 $ 50% to bitcoin and 50% to ethereum and hold it for long term like 5 to 10 years. There is a saying dont put your all eggs in one basket because if one fail then you have hope to another one.

I think anyone that is seriously into crypto would never consider splitting it half/half like this. Always Bitcoin first and foremost, the majority of holdings, and then ETH and other alts a small proportion. Unless of course, you are a developer and you actually build and use things on top of ETH (or other smart contract platforms).
3397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Large capital advantage? on: January 18, 2021, 08:08:20 AM
If you were to gamble online, or just regularly without any strategy, then there's no difference between a large or a small capital. However, if you were to coordinate with the casino owner (especially in physical casinos), there's a small chance that they may, just may, remove their house edge for the duration of your play. Though tbh, you'd need to spend an astronomers amount before they would even think of doing so, just so that you can play more. Still, this doesn't honestly mean much, since you'd still rely on luck to win. There were some instances of such examples, like the few people who won against gambling casinos iirc. Looked some samples back then which was why I saw it.

There is still a big difference. Let us talk for example a simple martingale strategy at 2 to 1 payout. With a capital of $500, you can start at $1 and you can endure a losing streak only of 9 losses. With a capital of $8,000, you can endure a streak of 13 instead.

And no casino I know can remove your house edge by asking;) Some do give you bonus for leveling up, that is the only way.
3398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: People paying $1200 for 1 Ethereum are crazy... You only get rich buying CHEAP on: January 18, 2021, 06:46:13 AM
It's been three years since the thread was made and there's truth in what he said about Ethereum. While the discussion is about $1200, Ethereum as it pumps again didn't passed on its past ATH.
And today's price of is even less than the price that was indicated on this thread.

30 years can pass and it will not change the truths that was said,,, nor will it change how right or wrong OP was about Ethereum. Same as Bitcoin 10 years ago when people today are saying it is wrong as a P2P currency. It always was and always will be.

Price is not everything,,,
3399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When Do You Take Profit From Your Altcoin Bags? on: January 16, 2021, 12:42:46 PM
lots of people want to take profit when it's due, but sometimes they become greedy when they thought it's going to get higher, and the result is lost,
when you invest you need to have a target, if you really are investing for the short term, I have done long and short investment, for me taking profits should be done when you are up 15-20% in my opinion, no matter what other people say its already a profit, most people do is hold it even they are up 100% sometimes knowing it could double, but it's different in crypto your up in a minute and down rock bottom in seconds.

I am definitely taking profit when my coins reach their old ATH from 2017/2018. But only to recoup what I initially invested. I still buy in every now and then for the "solid" alts,,, these are the Litecoins and Moneros but these I hold on to for as long as I hold BTC.

But good idea to get back at least your capital, and then a little bit of profit so you feel it was worth holding. And of course, liquidate as you need to spend bills and expenses:)
3400  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 play&invest BTC ETH LTC DOGE on: January 16, 2021, 10:52:09 AM
I actually myself only gamble at one licensed website,,, and in my experience, the ones that have stuck around the longest and the ones who are more in touch with their users are the crypto unlicensed ones.

Licenses do not change much when it comes to customer support and or legitimacy,,, just look around on the forum and see all the scam accusations that were proven in the past. Most are with so-called licensed casinos:)
