Honestly, In my opinion NO exchange is better than Novaexchange. We might as well wait til it's picked up by Polo, Bittrex or Liquio instead of some garage shop with horrible volume and security. There is also a point to letting a project mature before rushing to the market with a crap price on an alpha product.

I am inclined to agree with you here.

DeepOnion airdrop successfully received - thank you crypto-rainbow and the DO Team! Onwards and onions everyone!!

Looks like I'm gonna skip even the third airdrop... My rank haven't increased even a little bit this whole week, it feels like mining blocks with incredible difficulty - there's a lot of posting and zero results.
Not every post you make on bitcointalk necessarily increases your membership level - I believe there is a fixed limit of 14 posts per week that do.

There are hundreds of more addresses funded by the premine secretly on a daily basis.
'Secretly' does not seem the correct word here.

I deleted my signature and will leave this shitcoin
I pity myself that I participated in one round... I admit I was blinded
Send me your onions then. My onion address is in my profile somewhere. If you can't find it I'll provide it to you.

This is hilarious!! 10 onions says an Aussie made this! Which reminds me crypto-rainbow, I think I may owe you 5 onions due to our little wager last week?!

ok guys so do the people who wear the avatar get more ONION than those who don't? I cant find any info on this. i cant wear any ava yet..
Hey HK - it looks like no-one has answered your question as yet so I'll attempt to do so. As far as I understand donning an avatar is not a mandatory requirement for participation in the airdrop - though it is quietly encouraged. However, only bitcointalk members at Senior Membership level or above are able to don an avatar, so it is not an issue you currently need to be concerned about in any case. In short: Those folk who are able to use an avatar will receive more Onion than you and I - even if they don't use their avatar.

In order to reward our great community, our 3rd round distribution will have doubled amount of payout (300K instead of 150K), please make sure that you meet the minimum airdrop conditions.
Next round of airdrop will happen in about a day and half.
Ooh, just spotted this lollipop! This is proof - obviously - that the DO Dev Team is keeping all their PoS onions for themselves

Another interesting project. Since I am quite fond of Monero I see no reason why I shouldn't embrace Sumocoin also. ('Embrace' is admittedly an overstatement - little fish like myself can really only afford to tickle).

24 hours for the next airdrop. How many people are going to participate in this round?
The results may prove to be interesting - will the gain in participants offset the shake-out (if any) the Fudders managed to achieve?

Damn, a lot has been going on with the DO Project since I have been offline! It's great to see a faucet up and running - reminds me of early BTC. I'm not entirely sold on the color scheme of the page - perhaps one of the great desktop wallpapers created by DO supporters could be used here as the background image? I must admit I did use the faucet and received my mOnion quite quickly!

dont worry about bad people saying bad things. they are self-interested. You see you can buy and sell bitcointalk accounts, so they buy accounts and try to get as much airdrop as possible. then they FUD the coin, so that other people will not join, or try to discourage them. when they have enough coin, they will reverse position and pump the coin as much as possible. rinse repeat. welcome to crypto.
Thanks for sharing your take on the situation fr4nk. I've been afk for the best part of the week and am just now catching up on all the recent fuss. I'm cautiously optimistic about the project, as I have always been.

Yesterday I was still a Newbie but today I am a Jr Member and on my way to member status. Joined DO!
Hey there Iris - be sure to update your DeepOnion signature as your bitcointalk membership level increases to ensure you receive the appropriate airdrop. Can't have you missing out on your fair share of onions!

Unfortunately in China, without some solid technical skills, it's really hard to get the wallet connecting to the deeponion network...
I'm sorry to hear that although I am not entirely surprised. With time, and with some luck perhaps, circumstances should change. It's not just China of course that is wary of technologies such as TOR (and blockchains for that matter). My understanding is that most Western countries, for example, are less than comfortable with the notion that some or perhaps many of their honest citizens may prefer to maintain relative anonymity on the internet - given a transparent choice of course. It wouldn't surprise me to find that the government of the country I live in would perceive citizen participation in the DeepOnion project somewhat concerning, but I am currently allowed that prerogative - and remain thankful for the same.

anyone else have the problem of wallet not connecting to any nodes ?
Yep, my wallet also is not syncing as of this moment. I hope someone will make a clear explanation about this and hoping this kind of problem will have a solution soon. I've had a quick look on the deeponion.org forums regarding solutions to the synch problem. Have you tried adding nodes (via creating a .conf file) for the wallet? There's an easy to follow tutorial here: https://deeponion.org/community/threads/deeponion-tor-wallet-creating-conf-file.63/

anyone else have the problem of wallet not connecting to any nodes ?
Not at the moment; mine seems fine. What's going on with yours? (i.e. Just restarted, just unlocked, just installed etc). It might be worth having a look in the Community Forum at deeponion.org for info - seems a few folks have had similar issues and managed to sort them.

NEW wallet with some improvements coming soonThere are some more list of features coming with this upgrade we will explain these later. The coming upgrade is not mandatory but brings some more comfort to end users. Please keep up support https://deeponion.org/community/threads/bug-bounty.44/ We can do more improvements together. It's reassuring to see ongoing development of the project - every increment of progress adds momentum and value to the project overall, particularly during its early stages.

We need some feedback for the web wallet made by one community member
The page and the interface look clean. What protection of user details are in place?

Let's remember the rule again If you move coins to another wallet more than 10 % you will be disqualified by our system for the future rounds.
We will check at 28 Jul 2017 your paid wallets balances.
If you lose for some reasons the wallet you can apply again with new wallet and our system will update automaticly. If you lose some amount you can fill it by other ways mining or bounties or even staking or asking from somebody so you can carry with 90 % balance future rounds.
That rule only applies to coins received during the airdrop, and not self-mined coins, correct crypto-rainbow?

|
|
Any ideas?
I'd ask in Slack tbh - if you don't receive the solution there I'd open a separate thread in the Mining sub-forum on the Community board at deeponion.org.
