Someone put a load of Scrypt hash on the coin so the fork is going to happen a lot sooner than 2 weeks.
It will be more like 2 days
Adding "a load of Scrypt hash" should not dramatically change the amount of time it takes get to the fork unless something is wrong with the difficulty algorithm.

I'll take your gridseeds! My custom case has room for a few more

Interested but will wait until they ship and some reviews have been released.
How about the Warp 3?

Dang, I want one Willing to pay $1,200 BTW, I hear these don't work well with fast coins/p2pool. If you can try setting -q 0 to see if that helps.

How about we take over production as a community. If they were almost ready to ship then I imagine it wouldn't take much more to complete the project.
Zeus should "give" the community the ability to produce these miners on their own. Release the schematics for the chip/board design. I could take that and maybe call upon some of my old contact in the IC manufacturing world.
Better yet put us in touch with your manufacturing contacts so we can fund and continue the project.
(used to be part owner of a memory manufacturing company back when it was incredibly lucrative...luckily sold it before the floor dropped out of the market)

A block should not need to be found. Which p2pool is this for? Link?

Just wondering how your identifying p2pool blocks?
Currently, not very well, there is some confusion with NOMP and some stratum pools with custom genesis blocks :/ I have not looked into it much, as P2Pool/NOMP seem to be rarely dominant. Do you have a particular blockchain in mind? No, was just curious Super nice job overall. Reliable block explorers are rare so your efforts are appreciated.

As the programmers very very probably did not intend it to be like that it looks to me as if the difficulty adjustment algo is getting gamed somehow. Different from, but comparable to an instamine. It happens regularly. Commonly known exploit/attack/bug/whatever-you-want-to-call-it of KGW. Most other coins that use KGW have patched/fixed. Think I mentioned this before sometime earlier in this thread. Have lived through it on other coins...search the forums for description/fix. Hint: look for Heartbleed and TimeWarp vulnerabilities. One possible solution is to add the digishield diff retarget: https://github.com/casinocoin/casinocoin/commit/1f0b80e20aa13b8aa9146b61344131c5d555c709Hehehe, ok more than a hint

Thanks newbie ahmed Should be interesting. Good to hear you've thought about equaling out the different algo's. Sounds like a lot of work brother

Does any one algo have a benefit over another for miners? If one algo has a much lower hashrate than another wouldn't it be easier to get more coins on that algo if you have a significant amount of hashrate for that particular algo?

Truten, I do not believe this thread is the right place to discuss altcoin p2pools as it is focused on Bitcoin. Having said that I believe Rav removed dogecoin from his repository since he believes running a dedicated dogecoin pool is no longer a good idea due to doge now supporting auxPOW. Added to that it appears that a number of nodes never updated their dogecoind so the dogecoin p2pool is finding blocks in both chains. For the most part I would say that the dogecoin p2pool is dead.

whats up with www.minep.itthey don't seem to be paying out or any movement on Bitmark confirmations, scam site? It looks like they are stuck 2000 blocks behind, we've been trying to contact them. Once we know more we'll update, meanwhile please reserve judgement. they are a long well established pool - no need to worry. I'd be at least a little bit worried if there's no official word from the pool about a bug indicating they were that far behind. If they are 2000 blocks behind I would guess there is a problem with their wallet daemon. The fix could be as simple as restarting the process. Of course I would direct any miners I had there somewhere else in the mean time.

Is there a non-setup version of 8.6.2 available? I hate wallet installers....

Thanks. It's setup to dual mine DOGE but the chance of getting one of those blocks is low. If a DOGE block is found it will be exchanged for BTM and distributed to all p2pool miners as a bonus.

I hope this post doesn't get deleted..guess I'll add more than just a happy face this time I like tracking posts I follow using the "Show new replies to your posts" link. Wonder if there is a better way.

It also means as the pool hashrate increases, this value gets smaller and smaller. Say we get to 2hrs per block. That means 6 hours, it rolls off. Ouch.
We could always fork to increase the spread if necessary
