341  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: benefits of having mature accounts at 3 casinos (personal experience) on: June 22, 2023, 06:24:05 AM
<snip>
Personally, I think that maximizing your VIP level at a single casino is the better choice, unless there is an excellent reward offered by other casinos, especially if you have already reached the maximum VIP level.

Are you a high roller? Because my first thought is that you are... later seemed that you are not. I'm just asking, don't get it wrong.
342  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who is to be blamed, the gambler or the betting agent on: June 21, 2023, 12:26:31 PM
<snip>

I'm so confused with the details you gave. Is that agent working from you? Because thats what you said.
You own the site?

Regardless, if the player have any intention of paying, he wouldn't run.
If ever he decided to pay the debt, that would cost exactly the number of working days for him, which is a loss for him but it is only natural since he decided to play more than what he had. It is his responsibility to pay for that.

Also, as long as the agent is correctly following the casino's guidelines and policies he is not in fault.
343  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Luck is what you need in gambling but you have to get to work with trading on: June 18, 2023, 04:32:13 PM
I have read many discussions about trading and gambling, some people have rather joined the two as gambling. That is not totally true.
 <snip>
There could be times when trading becomes a gamble — when the trader literally have no idea of what (s)he is doing.
However, generally, trading is not suppose to be considered as a form of gambling since there are quite more times where you can analyze the flow compared on gambling wherein the results are purely random.

If someone wants to get serious with trading, I do agree that (s)he must study about it.
344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Success or Fail? - Talking about Gambling as a major income on: June 18, 2023, 03:27:44 PM
<snip>
No matter what the reason is, you plan to gamble as a major income or only income source. This is super super hard. Sorry for you. But I have three personal opinions.
~
Well, being professional in gambling, arguably, requires skill. People which I think that can only be called professionals (in terms of gambling) are those gamblers who plays skill-based games such as poker. Surely, slots is out as it is purely random and most are pre-determined, AFAIK.

Unless you posses great talent with skill-based games, you should not see gambling as a source of income.
345  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Does ranking not guarantee post quality? on: June 18, 2023, 02:32:57 PM
The rank does not guarantee the quality of the post.
Most of the nonsense posts that you'll encounter are mostly just constructed to comply with rules (mostly about the post length) of the campaign they participated. You can report those kind of posts though.

Moreover, old members were given free rank up before. So some merits are not really hard earned.
Thinking positively, let's wish that those low quality posts will be lessened eventually and members will put more efforts to their posts.

<snip>
I know for sure there will be a lot of comments that blaspheme me. I may be a newbie but I know that a post has value and a good argument. Maybe I haven't read all the threads, so I have to ask about my statement, that many high ranking members have low quality posts? talk nonsense and have no clear arguments. Is my statement correct?
I see nothing wrong with your writings, it is your opinion, everyone should respect that.  Also, it is your choice to choose which type of words you'll be using.
346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you like Meme Coins (Pepes project)? on: June 17, 2023, 05:10:09 PM
<snip>

I liked meme coins before when I was just starting to trade. The reason is that I found it challenging because of its high volatility. But I was not successful to that, so I do not like it it anymore. I believe that it will be easier to focus on projects that has promising use cases. DYOR.
347  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gender in Gambling [differences between Women and Men in Gambling] on: June 17, 2023, 04:00:29 PM
<snip>
Do you think the results of the research above are correct?

It does makes sense. Maybe it is correct, maybe it is not.
But personally, what researches had found out is correct. I'm supporting it as I also observed myself those supporting details they mentioned with regards to the result of their study.

Quote
I know that the number of women involved in gambling is very small because in some countries, people's views of female gamblers are still very bad and they are considered dirty and unfit to be a wife. maybe the results of this research can be used by gambling business owners in developing their business.
On the other hand, your idea seems to be outdated. Can you list countries that that portrays the perspective you mentioned?
348  Economy / Gambling / Re: Punt.com on: June 17, 2023, 03:03:57 PM
<snip>
That's unfortunate. However, it thus happen to a lot of players... This is gambling at the first place, sometimes we win many times, sometimes not. That's how it works. If we will talk about the probability, we have lower chance of winning over the house.

Hmmm... I am curious... What do you actually mean of "games played"?
349  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Stay Lowkey lang tayo on: June 16, 2023, 07:10:53 PM
<snip>
350  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling addiction causes ear deafness? on: June 16, 2023, 05:41:45 AM
<snip>
Have you meet gamblers that are going way too deep into addiction and you try to stop them and they listen? I've never accomplished that before.
Most, if not all, of the people I know who engage in gambling are open to constructive discussions. I am proud to say that I do not have anyone close to me who struggles with gambling addiction. Advising individuals with compulsive gambling can be challenging, and they should seek counseling from professionals. It is important to prioritize our own well-being, starting with a healthy mindset. Remember to gamble responsibly.
351  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: June 16, 2023, 03:39:37 AM

For casinos that are already trusted and legitimate, they will not be afraid of accusations directed at them, especially if the accusations are not proven with authentic evidence, it is the same as the accuser embarrassing himself.
There is no way a casino will be afraid of an unsupported claim, especially if it can prove its innocence against the scam accusation. If the casino knows how to defend itself, there’s no need to worry. This is what I have noticed from various owners'/representatives' responses regarding the accusations on their respective platforms. They seem to handle it easily and professionally compared to some shady casinos.
352  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'm Having Difficulty With A Trading Feature on: June 15, 2023, 05:29:04 PM
Close All Positions
I do not see that feature in Coinbase. The only thing I see is, "Cancel Order."
I am not very familiar with Coinbase, however I think that you are currently navigating through the spot trading section of that platform. I am not sure if Coinbase offers futures trading, but in case that they don't, there are other platforms such as Binance for which futures trading feature is currently available.
353  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beware of Pig Butchering Scam! on: June 15, 2023, 10:04:53 AM

It involves tricking individuals into sending their cryptocurrencies to scammers who promise high returns or investments with guaranteed profits. The name "pig butchering" comes from an analogy scammers use to convince victims to participate. They claim that just like a butcher would divide a pig into different parts, they can divide and multiply the cryptocurrencies sent to them, promising significant returns in a short period.

How it is done?

This scam operates on a classic Ponzi scheme principle, where early investors may receive returns to create a false sense of legitimacy. These returns are typically funded by the investments of subsequent victims, creating a cycle of deception. Scammers often use tactics to lure people into the scheme, such as social media promotions, online forums, or personal recommendations. They may present themselves as experienced traders or cryptocurrency experts, leveraging persuasive techniques to build trust. Once victims send their cryptocurrencies to the scammers' wallets, they quickly realize that the promised returns are nothing but empty promises. In most cases, the scammers disappear with the funds, leaving victims with significant financial losses.
<snip>
It seems that your thread somehow lacks some specific and vital details about the term "Pig Butchering Scam". Honestly this is my first time hearing that term, but I'm glad you embedded a link an article related to that scam.

It is specified in the article that the scammer works by trying to establish an emotional connection with the victim, posing as a 'lover' or 'friend.' Over time, the scammer will attempt to convince the victim to invest in a platform they control (although this may vary), promising returns to strengthen trust and potentially encouraging the victim to invest more. Eventually, the scammer will steal the funds and provide multiple excuses.

The term was new to me; however, the concept of the scam is familiar is familiar to me as I recently watched local videos about it.
354  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which is the best board to focus on as a newbie in the forum? on: June 15, 2023, 01:31:57 AM
  I'm beginning to understand the forum better by the day, but I'm still under a learning process, cause we learn everyday and I'm big on receiving advise from older members
 I find it easier to post on gambling, economics, politics and several others, but I want to know which board to focus more on as a newbie, what's your say on this? I'm open to learning from your opinions.
It depends on which section you want to focus on. Generally, this board, Beginners & Help is where newbies navigate as this board focuses on beginner querying and helping discussions. However, if you seek to explore thoroughly other sections such as Bitcoin, then you might want to check out the Bitcoin section. On the other hand, if you want to learn more about the forum, like its rules, then check out the Meta board.
I highly suggest you read first the Help menu which you can find here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=help

Good luck!
355  Economy / Gambling / Re: SportScore.io - I'm looking for investor/partner open for 1 person. on: June 14, 2023, 05:53:31 PM
<snip>
I'm looking for investor/partner that can be involve on the project, and live it.
Request: 500k-1M$
Why we need that much money?, APIS, Live stream licenses, Sport betting license, Developing, SEO and more things. together we consider any payment if need.
my partner will earn as me from the project 50:50.
I think you must also clarify if you have more funds except of that which you're asking from your potential investors.
What are your investment to this project compared to your potential partner? Does it include anywhere around the amount you were asking for? Or only the idea, strat, etc.?

With that great amount of money, are you ready to reveal your identity in case (s)he asks?
356  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Online gambling isa sa tinuturong dahilan kung bakit nawawala ang alamn ng gcash on: June 14, 2023, 03:23:03 PM
<snip>
357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: He Committed Suicide After Losing School fees, And That Of Friend To Betting.. on: June 14, 2023, 08:57:01 AM
It's really a shame, this is really one of those sad stories that really tell the dark side of sports betting and gambling in general, I could not help it, but had tears rolling down my cheek while reading this story..
<snip>
Over the next yes, I hope that people should be emotionally stable and strong before committing themselves into gambling.
Remember that we have free councils that are available 24/7 like begambleaware.org and responsiblegambling.org. I am also quite sure that there are similar services available to you locally.
If you know someone or you are someone that has gambling related problems, specially addiction, do not hesitate to hit them up, I am sure they can help you feel better.
358  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever felt remorse after gambling? on: June 11, 2023, 05:22:41 PM
I saw this online and thought maybe i should bring on to bitcointalk for discussion.

If a person gamble and at the end of the game he starts to feel remorse is that a good thing or should the person be on alert?
Generally, I had some before. Who never had that? I guess none of us.

It is advisable to have a neutral feelings & decision before, during, and after betting to a match. If the player cannot have the ability to cope with losses, I think that player should stop (or be stopped) from placing bets as he do not posses enough emotional capacity towards a negative result.
If not stopped, worst case is addiction and it's other negative effects financially physically, mentally, and socially.
Gamble responsibly.
359  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Casinos Include The Sport Spogomi In Their Platform on: June 11, 2023, 03:13:10 PM
Spogomi is the cleanest sport
Do you think this sporting event has a chance to be included in sports betting, we already have sex sports and organizers are hoping that it will be accepted.

This event is worth considering because it encourages the recycling of waste materials and it's eco friendly.
<snip>
Only until today that I became aware of the existence of this sport, Spogomi. From what I've searched from the internet, it was founded in the year 2008. It seems like it is only gaining popularity right now, I hope it continues growing to every country.
I do not know the ENTIRE idea of this sport, but I love it already. I love the idea, kudos to that very person who initiated this. Just imagine how much help it can do for our environment.

To answer the question, definitely yes. Spogomi can be included to gambling platforms.
360  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: 💸💸 [ rakeclub.com ] CRYPTO CASINO SOURCE CODE | CLASSIC GAMES | HQ FEATURES on: June 11, 2023, 02:11:09 PM
<snip>
A decent product. Functional. However, I think you should only allow integer or/ double to the bet amount input fields as currently any data type can be accepted as an input. You might also want to add a maxlength on those areas.

So, rakeclub.com is a casino solutions... I think you should move this thread to the Services board, you can found the button for that from the lower left part of this thread.

Another opinion, it would be better if you will use icons for your social media accounts for this thread instead of using pure texts.

Welcome to the forum, good luck!
