341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is DeFi hype the same as ICO hype in 2017? on: August 29, 2020, 11:06:17 PM
I do not think so. DeFi may be popular but the hype is not the same as during the ICO first. ICOs were the best days of crypto in history, the market was becoming more colorful and bull trands were very long back then. if compared now maybe Defi is just a temporary popularity that will soon fade.
342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CAN WE STILL GET THE 2017 BULL IN THIS 2020? on: August 28, 2020, 04:38:54 PM
We have seen series of predictions in the last three months when bitcoin had its last halving. The prices kept rising until two weeks ago.
Now that the prices are falling again, when will the time like 2017 be experienced again in the cryptocurrencies community.

to get back to ATH requires a lot of strength. so it might take something big to trigger that. the question is what big things can make that happen. DeFi, ethereum 2.0 also can't trigger it. even the BTC halving that was believed to do so proved to be a failure. so maybe ATH won't happen any time soon
343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price prediction! Something happens. on: August 28, 2020, 05:40:33 AM
Ok, to those ETH investors. This is now the time to buy. The market has corrected and Ethereum's price too.
The price that I've seen it lately is $386. Too far from the price peak that we've seen which was $440. If you think that this is now a good price for you to start buying, don't be late doing it.
That depends entirely on what you think the price of ethereum will do for the rest of the year, if you still think there is a lot of potential for ethereum to grow then without a doubt this is the perfect moment to buy, but if you do not believe that and you think that from now on the price of ethereum could go down then this is the moment to short ethereum and take advantage of the decrease that you think it's coming, personally I think the price is not going to do much during the next weeks so I will wait a little bit to decide which direction the market will go.
Not just for this year but for the longer term. Like for another year or two. The next years will be another big year for Ethereum as those times will be the years (if not this year) of showing results and reaction of the market by its implementation of POS. We have seen a glimpse of it and we will see more of it by that time comes.

yes maybe in the future POS systems on ethereum will be big news. but keep in mind that POS will cause new problems later. the market will be very easily manipulated by large investors. look at some coins that have POS consensus at this time, the price can be determined by those who have above average coin supply.
344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockfolio IOS App Doesn't Refresh? on: August 26, 2020, 06:28:19 AM

Any other apps like blockfolio that isn't lagging?  I like it but i find it annoying i need to click on every coin to find the current price.  I mean back then i recall you click home, it updates all the coins in your portfolio.

I recommend using tradingView, I have been using this platform for years and I am very satisfied using it. what I like this application can be accessed where I am, and already supports all existing trading tools. Instead of using Blockfolio, isn't this app much better.
345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The cost of transferring money on the Ethereum network is too high on: August 26, 2020, 01:13:50 AM
The ethereum network is currently in trouble. who knows how long this continues, this is very detrimental. imagine just to send tokens / ethereum we have to pay above 2-3$. This is far from claiming that Ethereum is a cheap platform. this could let ethereum users go and use another platform.
346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can new crypto beat Eth in the market? on: August 25, 2020, 02:13:36 AM
new coins beat ETH ?. I don't think so. EOS, Tron, XLM, Waves have all tried to compete with ethereum but nothing has beaten this coin in any way. so even in the future I think it's still impossible. ethereum is strong even when she's in a bad state. and soon ethereum 2.0 will be launched, this will strengthen the position of this coin as the second largest crypto after bitcoin.
347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which crypto with a small cap to buy to make x2, x5, x10, x20, x100 on: August 24, 2020, 11:05:44 PM
I invite you to share on this forum small promising projects in the world of crypto-currencies with a small market capitalization which are likely to make x2, x5, x10, ...

yesterday I bought DEXA coin. this coin has a very small marketcap, not even up to 500k USD. but I got more than 500% profit in less than 2 days.

but I'm not suggesting you to follow me to buy this coin. what I want to tell you is a way to find coins with a low market cap, but can make a profit.

First go to a market that is not too big and watch for coins that are red or slightly green. If you have found a coin that suits you, start looking for the latest information about that coin. if the latest information is a positive update then buy that coin. this looks simple but is actually very difficult. because not all information can provide benefits.
348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin, ethereum etc. cryptocurrency or digital asset? on: August 23, 2020, 02:19:48 AM
a name is still a name, so it won't matter. what makes the government dislike crypto is not the name. but from its advantages, crypto is a decentralized currency and because of this it is difficult to control crypto. governments do not accept things they can't control.

Hello man, softcp is $100.000.  Team raised 350K usd which means 3.5X of the softcap. They will go a second round of IEO to make this hardcap.

350k$ is a large amount really appreciate your good work with a team with the acquisition of softcap that has been achieved, which is a breath of fresh air for an investor who is still curious to participate in round 2, sure if the team continues to consistently implement various strategies hardcap will definitely be achieved.

hopefully this will be repeated during token sales round 2 later. With this achievement I'm sure there will be many interested investors. honestly this project is good the progress of this project is very positive, their marketing strategy is also quite good. they always share all the new information about the project, this is what makes me like.
350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Blockmembers.io - THE FUTURE OF HOME BUILDING IS HERE on: August 21, 2020, 02:51:45 PM
I was wondering about this project. will a project with a real estate concept like this be successful ?. In the past, when the market was not in the bear period, projects like this were difficult to find investors. no real estate project hit the hard cap at that time. then what about now, the market is in transition, investors are no longer interested in new projects. whether this project will be successful or will it just be one of the other shit projects.
351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you agree to insure your participation in the bounty company? on: August 21, 2020, 01:44:04 AM
what we need is not insurance, but escrow. insurance may be good but for rewards that we do not know the price is something that is detrimental. it could be that the insurance fee is more expensive than the token reward price that we get. there are many projects like this the price when the market does not match the time of tokensales. So insurance isn't that great. and escrow is the right choice, with this the project team will not go around.
352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi coins have turn the market into confusion on: August 20, 2020, 01:39:03 AM
in the end all will be shit projects. DeFi is just a new way to raise money and after that nothing. the only thing that awaits is a loss for new investors. So take a look and think again when you want to invest in a DeFi project. I really like this new Hype, but to invest is not possible. it's better to be a trader than to invest in one of the DeFi platforms. at this time there are also starting to appear that there are many problems, it is only a matter of waiting for the hype to fade.
353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sports Industry taking over the Crypto space on: August 19, 2020, 03:09:23 PM
when i saw the british league and watford club sponsored by sportbet and saw the bitcoin logo on their hands, the crypto market already saw the sports market could be used as an advertisement to get bigger and that was great because sports, especially football saw a lot of people,

yes you're right, the sports industry is compatible with crypto. so this will have a positive impact on the development of crypto. there are already many projects that have collaborated with a sports club one of the sportbet. in the future it is possible that the sports industry will be completely controlled by crypto.
354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH still going higher as our anticipatiion on: August 19, 2020, 02:13:51 AM
Currently, Ethereum's position is very strong. So it's normal for a lot of predictions to say Ethereum is in a good trend. but keep in mind a few days ago I read there was a little problem on the testnet, they found some very crucial bugs that can affect the network. if this news is true, it may disrupt the existing agenda, and may delay the mainnet longer. the impact will influence the current trend.
355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why You Think That Your Coin/Token Will Grow? on: August 18, 2020, 01:43:12 PM

The Question Is: Why You Think That Your Coin/Token Will grow? (based on what?)

the reason is because of development. this is the reason why I bought a coin. the future is unpredictable, as long as they do development there will be opportunities to rise. for example take a look at ethereum. This coin has a development team that is focused on making updates to make this coin acceptable to everyone, and take a look at ethereum's pricing.
356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Everyone waiting for v2.0 but... on: August 18, 2020, 01:31:20 AM
I guess it should be postponed because they found some bugs during the testnet. After all, that's what testnet is for, so it's normal if after the testnet is running they find a problem and delay the launch.

If you look at the market situation, this delay might have an impact on Ethereum prices later. it could be that a few days after the 2.0 delay announcement the price will go down
357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Crypto be more valuable than gold? on: August 17, 2020, 12:06:18 PM
I have thought that one key advantage crypto (bitcoin, litecoin, Dash, monero etc.) has over gold is that its supply level is fixed and transparent, but can this or features make crypto more valuable than gold?

it will happen, crypto will beat gold. maybe when everyone has switched to e-money it will happen. just now the popularity of crypto is comparable to gold and will continue to increase in the future. so it was only a matter of time. when everyone has switched and there is no more use of cash, crypto will become the number one payment and investment tool.
358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's happening with Bitcoin & altcoins? on: August 17, 2020, 01:57:31 AM
It was already months that Bitcoin has been struggling to reach the next level ($10,000). There is no a clear sign that Bitcoin continues rising up or declining its price in the near future. Now, some altcoins can increase their prices more than Bitcoin. Some people stated that it may be the bullish time for altcoins. While others still doubted it, and they claimed it is only about temporary pump done by whales. Well, what do you think about this, guys?

I think it's just a temporary pump, but the market is getting better than ever. the market is getting excited again, there's a lot to look forward to at the moment and coupled with the DeFi hype makes the market even more colorful.

If altcoins can survive this transition period, I believe the temporary pump will become a bull trend.
359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRON 4.0 vs ETH 2.0 on: August 16, 2020, 04:48:10 AM
tron still can't compete with ethereum. anyway update 4.0 is still a long time ago and they won't be rushing it. so ethereum will continue to lead the way. currently ethereum 2.0 is taking the market by storm, many people are enthusiastic about this update. It is proven that even though it is only a testnet, ethereum's price has gone up high. if the testnet is successful, there will be many ETH holders for the long term this will change the ethereum demand in the market later. Eventually Ethereum prices will go much higher.
360  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin reach to $100K ? on: August 15, 2020, 03:13:53 PM
Why not. but I don't think so for now. it took a long time to reach 100k. maybe at the moment the market is bull but for 100k it is impossible. long before this many experts had predicted BTC would reach 100k. So I won't be surprised if it is achieved in the future.
