341  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don’t Panic on: January 14, 2021, 03:52:51 PM
I think why the price of the bitcoin drops in the last few days ago because other people panic or not want to wait for another dump so they sell their bitcoin as earlier because they are scared also to lose some of the money that possible to earn.  But now price is reviving and I think it will going to continue and we will see again the price of 40k per 1 bitcoin maybe tomorrow will see that value again for the second time around.
Exactly. People have already panicked and impulsively sold coins due to fear that price will really hit rock bottom just like that. And as a result, price changes are also being witnessed. I think these people are not yet used to the movement of the market, which we have experienced now for many time already, that is why they have been swayed by their emotions easily. And right now many have regrets because of doing that.
342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I was not wrong to bought bitcoin. on: January 13, 2021, 05:08:14 PM
You're so lucky that after you bought your bitcoin, the value of it increased more which gave you a good profit. Many people buy bitcoin and other digital currencies at high prices but not everyone is lucky because sometimes after buying at high prices, it suddenly goes down. Investing in crypto is fraught with risk that every investor should take whether you can make a profit or not, the important thing is that you try rather than feel regret later.

You are right, as he seems to be lucky because only a few users can be able to get the profit on time and many invest when the BTC price is high like it was on the $k, and then within hours it drops to $34k.
I think it’s also because he is courageous enough to take the risk of buying even without the assurance that the price will increase further. He took the risk and now he’s earning with that decision he made. And with that, Bitcoin is really not for those who are weak heart, you should be brave to take risk, face failure and to stand up again to try.

As I have expected, OP did not bother coming back and attending to all of the replies here. I think just like what many of you have said, this is one of his tactics of promotion which he needed to gain audience so he can soon turn the channel into an exclusive group where he will provide his services with standard fees. I think that he is generous for sharing his tips for free, but we also need to be careful in following such information. I think we could use the tips as reference, for comparison, while still making our own analysis.
344  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: who actually moves the price of bitcoin? on: January 12, 2021, 02:07:55 PM
Most bitcoin prices are tied to an average or a collection of what the top exchanges publish as the current bitcoin price. But who's actually moving their prices? From my understanding, retail users don't have the power to move prices in the short term. Whales supposedly are the ones who can make the price suddenly jump or drop...but they trade on OTC desks right? not on retail exchanges....so how are these Whale movements being reflected on retail exchanges to determine what the current bitcoin price is? Or are there actually some whales who use the exchanges to trade on?

If you are going to check how the market works or the crypto currencies prices works. Their prices will vary to the buyer or holder, meaning if the demand will grow then the price will also increase.

So the direct answer to your question, the one who actually move the price of bitcoin and other crypto currencies are us who are buying it but those big whales or big investors have the control as they have the bigger percentage of holding compare to us who only have a very few percentage of holding base on our current investment.
345  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting History - 2020 on: January 11, 2021, 04:42:26 PM
I never make that a resolution because it won't work if you want to stop you can do anytime without giving out any resolution or promise, you can have an impressive runs but once you got bad luck everything be taken out, the only solution is moderation, and having a mindset that gambling is not a business or a replacement for a job.
The problem with making resolutions is that once you gamble you will feel guilty of not being able to stay focused on the resolution you made and that makes you feel weak. I would rather do what I feel I should do and avoid making resolutions because resolutions and self promises make you weak when you are unable to achieve them.

Maybe we do not need to have resolutions if that can make you feel guilty and lose your focus on the game. If we can have control over ourselves, we can stay calm and have a mindset that gambling is part of the entertainment that we need to enjoy and have fun. We do not have to think to earn money from gambling if we think that will be difficult to do, so we do not try hard to win.

That is something I would like to agree with. My colleague once said that the hardest part of breaking a habit or changing something within oneself is their mentality towards it. I believe that before we could really achieve this and have change, we should first train our minds, to have control over our gambling desires and practices.
346  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you got emotional about the dip today, you need to manage risk better on: January 11, 2021, 03:56:07 PM
Dips and rallies is part of investing, it happens in every asset class except t-bills. If you got stressed out, you probably need to diversify your portfolio to appropriate allocations for your risk tolerance. A 100% cryptocurrency position is bad strategy, or no strategy at all.

It is always better to have it in mind that there will be time for correction, even if you diversify as long as the assets is crypto the dip will also affect it, anyone who can not afford to accept the dip can strategize to sell while the market is full operation oe when the price is pumping, dip is part of the market, it helps the market to be healthy.
Well said. Truly, stress is expected in any investment we may choose to do but not being able to handle it is not good. As they say being too emotional is not just bad for overall wellbeing but also affect people in making decisions that are not sound and wise. Thus, if this dip brought much emotions and stress it is indeed a time for an aspirant to diversify investments. And most importantly is to seek knowledge and observe every market situation and its movement when making investments.
347  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling advertising monitored closely on: January 10, 2021, 04:52:17 PM
With regards to your first question, I guess the company are doing what they think can help them to get a better attention even if they breached some guidelines. All that matter to any company is a result but I am sure that they learned from this and they will not do it again as they will just hurt their reputation if they keep in doing this kind of advertisement.

And for your second question, ensuring that under 18 doesn't start to gamble is very difficult one even if most of the casinos will ask for KYC as it can breach easily if the user will buy others KYC to bypass the restriction and aside from that I saw that there are many casinos also that are not asking for KYC verification so below 18 can easily gamble if they like to. This is the problem that I think cannot be stop easily as we are free to use the internet therefore we have freedom on what to do with it and gambling is one of it as online gambling is very attractive right now.
348  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price of BTC might go down on: January 10, 2021, 03:31:59 PM
Wow a 50% collapse is pretty high, I am sure that it will create a chaos to the newbie investors if this will happen especially if the newbie investors were not able to sell their bitcoin at the ATH. There are many predictions but as we know predictions are not accurate as bitcoin price is very unpredictable but it has a downside because bitcoin price can be monopolize.

Big whales are the main players to bitcoin price value, let's see if they can push it through to $100K without a big collapse. Once the bitcoin price will collapse, I am pretty sure the other currencies will surely to follow. Let's just hope that it will happen as I like to see the peak of bitcoin price again.
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the biggest mistake you've made on crypto? on: January 09, 2021, 04:32:51 PM
The biggest mistake I have ever made on crypto would be definitely selling too early. Drove by my emotions, the uncertainty, the fear of loss led me to impulsively selling when price hikes, not having second thoughts that price might increase higher if I will be just patient enough and wait. Yeah, I did that. But I have learned my lessons now.
350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: January 09, 2021, 04:02:31 PM
In my case, I do all of these three, hold, gamble and spend. And upon deciding what to do with the crypto that I have earned from signature campaigns, it will depend on the situation and on the type and amount of coin that I have received. When I have a lot of even extra, I gamble. I spend some especially during the times that I need emergency funds. And I hold whenever I see that a coin has potential then sell it later on.
351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Attention: Biden has officially won, make sure your sportsbook pay you. on: January 08, 2021, 04:56:54 PM
Although appeals are being made by the Trump party, the official results of the election are already released and also the inauguration ceremony of Joe Biden is already set, therefore it is clear that Joe Biden won. Hence, regardless of the emerging political issues, those who made bet for Joe Biden should have been paid by now. I agree that this particular event may determine the reputation of many betting sites. And those who are proven as scammers, shall be posted immediately.
352  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Oh that feeling... when the price goes crazy...after you sold! on: January 08, 2021, 04:46:45 PM
This has happened to me a few times already. And what the other have said that, regardless of the amount the profit gained is still profit, is what have been comforting me since then. And of course with these experiences, I learned a lot. And I am thankful that I was able to experience selling too early so that I could learn how to be patient and to make wiser decisions.

I would like to ask if there's a way to change the currency that I currently have? currently my currency is in mBTC but when I tried to change it on the settings I think it's not working? does that mean that my currency will be in mBTC permanently?

I tried to contact the support before, to change mine to EUR well it took less than an hour before they change it but I'm not quite sure how long would it take for others.
354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: So is it appropriate for us to BUY XRP now? on: January 07, 2021, 12:10:08 PM
Do you see the MOVMENT of today's XRP? So is it appropriate for us to BUY XRP now?

XRP is indeed facing some problems right now starting from SEC issues following but delisting of few exchanges but if we are going to check the XRP price as of this moment, it is getting a good momentum as it is starting to rise again.

But I cannot say that it is appropriate to buy XRP now instead if you are a risk taker then buying XRP now is good decision because you can definitely get a good profit if the XRP price will skyrocket again. But you should consider that this is very risky move as it can decrease pretty bad also if their issues will not be fix.
355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum : Its not too late on: January 06, 2021, 02:10:20 PM
Yeah it is not yet late to buy ethereum and even to other crypto currencies out there who have potential to dominate the market as we are not yet at the peak of the market so there is still room for the crypto currencies to generate a new record by beating their old ATH.

But if you are a short term holder then you need to wise compare to long term holder that they can just hold their assets until it will hit to their target selling price.
356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple XRP Price in 2021 on: January 06, 2021, 09:08:19 AM
Due to the issue and some of the exchange forcing to close down XRP trading I really think the XRP's price would go down dramatically I was currently thinking what about those investors who bough the XRP would they going to support it or sell it with the price of the XRP I really think that most of the investors really do sell their holdings.
357  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🏆⚽ Adkinsbet.com | Sports | In-Play | ESports | Racebook | Virtual Sports | ⚽🏆 on: January 04, 2021, 04:41:13 PM
I've been watching the odds for Manchester City's game tonight, which will be visiting Chelsea. That is a typical competition that can fall in any direction.

Chelsea has a very strong team. City is good too. 1-1 would be in line with expectations.

I never thought that United would be that high.

The odds for the 1-1 is really good I might considering following your tips.
The current odds is 6.5 and might considering placing a bet of at least 1mBTC just for fun I've been following tips here in the forum and so far
I've gathered a good profit from player's tips.

According to statistics, 1-1 appears to be the most common result in a football match. it depends in which country you watch the competition and which teams play against each other. something of around 7 already odds then according to the statistics you should end 1 in 7 matches in 1-1. i think that could only work with evenly matched teams
The statistics are just a reference for the bookmakers, in fact a lot of bookmakers lose when trying to stick to the statistics.
To be a successful bookmaker you should learn a lot of things besides, you need a little more luck.

Yes sometimes statistics doesn't work in sports betting I think they work more on casinos such as dice games I even see some users selling or sharing created scripts and they have statistics on how successful it were.
358  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺WOLF.BET - $5,000 New Year's Eve Race! Advanced Dice Game 🎲 2.000 Bets/s⚡ on: January 04, 2021, 04:03:46 PM
Were you able to be part of the top 50 in the new years eve race? This kind of promotion is very attractive and can easily hype the players as they can gain something by continuing to play in your platform.

I will just hope that there will be more promotions to come and it will be easier to be part of the winner as I will try my best also to get in while avoiding some losses if possible.
359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will ETH break it's ATH? on: January 04, 2021, 03:58:51 PM
Eth has crossed 1000$ last night, could we expext that we will see a new ATH within 3-4weeks??

Eth is in the process of breaking it's ATH already as it is already rallying to almost $1000 wherein it's ATH is only $1.4K. They can easily break that record if their will be not setbacks that will happen especially if it can reach the $1k price.

But let's see if this momentum can stay for long and the hype can help Ethereum to create a new ATH again then do it again and again until it will hit it's peak price. I am expecting that Ethereum price will peak at $3k if possible.
360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Hottest decentralized casino/gambling dApp on Ethereum right now? on: January 03, 2021, 03:33:14 PM
I haven't experienced using any decentralized gambling dapps so I am a little bit curious if what they are like or what games are available to this kind of feature. You have said that it resemble to centralized counterparts does it mean that decentralized dapps can also host almost all the games that are available in centralized platforms?

I tried searching for it but I wasn't able to get a clearer answer to my questions. I will look forward also if one of our fellow members here can drop some decentralized gambling dApps on Ethereum where they have an experienced in using it so we can assure that it is safe at the time that we will be the one to test and use it.
