341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A police officer (ASP) in Bangladesh was detected as crypto investor on: June 26, 2022, 06:18:38 PM
I saw no reason why a police officer can't just be a crypto investor. Well, it's not like you have to be super nerd or high-tech to understand how crypto works and become a crypto holder. It was relatively easy once you get a hang of it. He's also a normal human being like you and me, not just someone you have to put over such a high plate, police officer or not.
342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El-salvador bitcoin investment is underwater on: June 25, 2022, 07:30:02 PM

Nayib Bukele would have known what he was doing. Not no reason why he keeps buying bitcoins when the price falls. As long as El-Salvador keeps the Bitcoins and doesn't sell them, they have nothing to lose, it's only a matter of time. The President of El-Salvador is not bothered by the falling bitcoin rates, he just needs to be patient. buying again is a necessary thing to do to add bitcoin assets. When the bull market has arrived, Bukele will give El-salvador a lot of advantages.
Ohh, but he has a lot to lose. The amount of Bitcoin he bought come from the El-Salvador govt fund. Meaning he has to understand he can just hold it there forever. That isn't his personal wealth to do the hodl. There is also the interest rate as well.
343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next ALT season year ? on: June 25, 2022, 05:48:42 PM
Guys,
What do you think on next bull season? When will it be?
Please share your thoughts on this 🙂

It will be on the next halving as the previous result, the market always pump after the halving and that’s a good one because we still have more time to prepare and buy good coins. The market can’t recover instantly, the healthy recovery takes time and we have to be ready for that financially. The market is still on a good position, there’s no need to panic, just keep on analyzing and you can be good.
Nah, the market anticipant in the upcoming halving and pump beforehand, not after it. in fact, it falls down a bit after the halving but then slowly recovers depending on the market's signal whether it was bull or bear season. So right now, too soon to say where is the next bull season for alts.
344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DOGE records increased utilisation in criminal activities, research shows on: June 25, 2022, 04:02:20 PM
I think Doge got a lot of normal people who use and hold it, this makes it look easy to be diluted in case of criminal activities want to remove its track. So can't really blame Doge for that.
345  Economy / Economics / Re: Should we embrace a cashless policy?? on: June 24, 2022, 07:39:55 PM
The problem with going cashless is that not many people will be able to embrace it. in the advanced countries this may not be such a big deal as nearly everyone is already familiar with all sort of technology and buying online in a cashless manner. in the developing countries with high number of uneducated people, this can be a very big issue, it will require teaching almost everyone on how to operate an internet enabled device and own one as well.
Going completely cashless will pose a lot of challenges to many people which i doubt the governments are ready to subject its citizens to. So this is not advisable best thing for now is operate in both ways

The first impression I got after reading OP is this. EU and USA are not the whole worlds. There is a vast area of land in Asia, and Africa where people don't have an internet connection and are out of the digital landscape we live on. Paper cash is still the only way of the economy there so if mass adoption of cashless policy has to be taken then there should be some measures taken for those people.

On the other hand in many urban areas internet connections is not that strong and secure. A cashless economy means no paper cash. So any disruption in internet connection would cause major damage to the economy.
Inequality is always the thing to be considered despite all the benefits when moving from a cash to a cashless society. From all I know, old people hurt most since some of them also didn't know much about smartphones to use it as e-wallet. Wireless or broadband internet connection like you mentioned also a problem since if we can't access to it, we will be stranded from the grid with no alternative?
346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins dead? on: June 24, 2022, 06:25:02 PM
These coins are very popular and strong position and it will never end as my opinion. Ada and tron are my favorite coins and it has a strong team and solid position in crypto world. Everyone knows about eth and the management of it. Xrp is getting well. So, all of them have a good future.
Tron did very well since all other altcoins fall into line along with Bitcoin's down. So that's something we have to realize: No, not all altcoins are dead in this time, some did well and perform better than the others.
347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which stablecoin do you "trust" the most? on: June 20, 2022, 06:09:01 PM
Same as BTC which was the first crypto, USDT for the first stable coin in the market to be trusted. That creed is enough to migrate a lot of risks when the market is under high volatility and people look up to stable coins that still exist after the market has been through like that.
348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Sentiment Poll for June on: June 20, 2022, 05:51:05 PM

I agree, 1000 is definitely one of the best prices to buy ETH right now, not saying that it can't go down more, it can definitely go down more and just because there is a resistance doesn't mean that it has to fail.

But, when you see a strong resistance like this, it is very important to end up finding a bit of money to invest right now so you could make a good return. I mean think about it, making 5x is not that difficult when you buy ETH at this price, it is only 5k and that's nothing we can't do when the bull is back, hell even 10k+ could happen and that is more than 10x return and I bet that everyone is loving that. Hence I would suggest buying right now for sure.
We might not see ETH drop anymore lower than the $1000 for this month. It seems like below the $1000 for a few days is the best time to accumulate it for this month. ETH is considered as long-term investment. ETH price at $1000 for the entry point is still a good investment.
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Trying to sell GPu to PC gamers can made me lie on: June 20, 2022, 05:01:26 PM
I don’t think it really matters how long it was used. Would you buy an 6 month old GPU that was inside a poorly ventilated case where the gamer overvolted and overclocked and gamed for like 4 hours a day? Or would you get it from a miner who undervolted it and had it in an open air rig.

The only issue with mining rigs are the fans. They generally wear out much quicker than some gamer. Since gamers generally only play 1-2 hours a day, usually the fan doesn’t spin at all during that time. Compared to a miner rig which had it running 60-70% fan speed for years.
A pair of fans are cheap to replace, around $10 so I don't think the low cycle life of GPU fans is the main reason why gamers didn't like mining GPUs and only buy when it was cheap enough.

We all know that thermal cycles are what damages a video card the fastest, not the length of use. But gamers are still so misinformed. I think it's hostility toward us miners that makes them willfully ignorant.
This is true. Most of my GPUs have to be replaced with a new thermal pad for 4-6 months or else high chance VRM, mosfet and VRAM being busted.
350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Stupid or smartness on: June 19, 2022, 08:02:45 PM
...

You're half right for GPU miners right that they weren't in the bear market for mining yet. But this is only for miners with high-end GPUs. The bottom one with low-end, outdated GPU like RX 580, they're really in the danger spot now since their GPU has very low efficiency. If ETH price drop lower, sure the high-end GPUs or ones with high efficiency can still weather out, but the low efficiency will be out of the mining game right away unless you got free electricity. OP's 1660s ain't have a good efficiency rate so him selling some of his cards and diversifying it to alts or fiat is still a smart move to me. Why take a risk, right?
Miners with RX 580 video cards and analogues are attaboys, because they have been mining Ethereum for a long time and paid for these video cards many times over. I have these graphics cards and I don't feel in danger. Even many miners will continue to mine at a loss for a while after ethereum mining ends because they had a good profit.
It's just from an investor standpoint. You paid for all of your cards many times over but that doesn't mean you shouldn't consider dumping them for profit if you anticipate the market will go lower. The profit paid per day doesn't worth the effort when you can get paid in full, in one installment. Turn that new money into an investment in cryptos when it was in the market downturn, every crypto looks cheap and attractive to hold long term. Especially with the PoS hanging in the future for ETH mining so again, why take a risk (or potential gain) on those outdated cards?
351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Hello Guys what you think about bnb.can bnb hit 1000$ soon or not.i think bnb hi on: June 19, 2022, 05:49:49 PM
Let me talk some sense into you. BNB is a great coin and Binance is a great exchange. But because of this unique relationship between BNB and Binance, it ties them together and when bad news happens, BNB will go down in terms of price. Take the recent SEC investigation on Binance for example. This bad news coming ahead of BTC's price fall so you see in cryptocurrency, more links isn't a good way to pump up.
352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba Inu Could Reach $5 By 2050 !!!??? on: June 19, 2022, 05:15:00 PM
The author of that article shall bought all of gold and then convert it into the cash to be used to bought shiba inu. What a non sense prediction. Bitcoin can be pumped so hard but again try to be retional with the market and supply. With multi billions of supply and how many trillions marketcap for this meme token. Meme token that has no benefit worth trillions of marketcap. What a non sense thing to happen. This will never happen. The creator of article was only seeking for the traffic
This is what makes Shiba Inu seen as low tier in the investors' view. Most Shiba holders are kind of like this, talking nonsense about the value of their bag. Talk about how to make their Shiba bag increase its price but don't understand how the market or cryptocurrency works. More reason why Shiba can't have higher price or ever cross $1 mark.
353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Airdrop Sharing on: June 18, 2022, 06:03:44 PM
No one is safe for now even airdrop would not pay participants currently the entire market is affected so no reasonable company will run airdrop presently. From my point of view airdrop is another part of project promotion none will run a promotion seeing that the market is down will not caught much attention. This will be after all the market stress is off.
No good airdrops when the market is on a slow day. Even on a normal day, airdrop usually doesn't give out good reward because there is no free lunch. If something was too easy to get then it was worthless. If you want to make your effort worthwhile, start doing bounty works like signature campaigns, article and content.
354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Smart decision I made toward the end of the bull run on: June 18, 2022, 05:40:52 PM
I converted all all my altcoins to btc and eth and solona and stop listen to youtubers.
The youtubers can ruin your life. make your own decision and you will be fine.
This is relevant for me.
I lent my lesson long ago when youtubers made me to believe so much in a coin that was over-hyped to reach $1 in price when listed and the coin sold as high as $0.49 towards the end of their public sale.

Since then I have learned to always follow my instincts and not to get carried away by those media scams that can mislead you in the decision-making process.
I have a motto that if I found a relatively new coin and it was good and looked quite promising. But there are many videos on YouTube about that coin already then that coin is in the overhype phase. Meaning it is riskier for me to buy that coin at that time so I should stay out.
355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Luna 2.0 keeps falling on: June 17, 2022, 07:11:04 PM
Luna 2.0 will never resist the bearish season especially now that it has a bad reputation. The previous record of Luna has a huge impact on their new version of the coin so new investors will surely avoid it. Luna is already far from survival and might drop lower in the coming days. Investors have lost their trust in it and it will be hard for the developers to regain their trust.
Luna 2.0 is forever lost. I'm sure Do Kwon and his team will come up with some news to overhype it back and increase Luna 2.0 price. But it will be short term, he and his team lost the trust of the community so its price can up and down but trust never will. This is the biggest thing to govern crypto. You lost it, you're out of the game.

358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB or ETH ? on: June 04, 2022, 01:52:12 PM
Diversity is the key here. If it was me, I would try to get both BNB and ETH since I see no reason why I have to risk putting my eggs in one bag. Sure, a lot of people in here are arguing ETH is better than BNB or BNB is better ETH but that is where I fail to see why not split your investment into both of them. If you see ETH is better than BNB, say 70:30 then go ahead and buy with that ratio.

360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New altcoins you can invest on. on: May 11, 2022, 06:32:13 PM
My bet is to take none of the altcoin investments at this time. Why would you lower your stake with altcoins when either market goes up or down, Bitcoin and ETH have more resistance to it, hence a better investment if you don't want to risk it? Do you think altcoins have a better gain and profit than Bitcoin and ETH when the market back to bull mode?
