341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 95% of cryptocurrencies are fraudulent on: August 24, 2021, 06:53:57 AM
In a recent speech at the annual PNWER meeting held in Montana, Neil Kashkari, president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, sharply criticized cryptocurrencies, stating that "95 percent of cryptocurrencies are fraud, deceptive advertising and noise," and he also said he had a more positive view of cryptocurrencies in 2015. Kashkari also referred to the large number of altcoins and called them "garbage coins."

I think very true what Neil Kashkari president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis said. I agree with what he said that nowadays there are so many junk tokens being launched that many investors are experiencing losses. With the increasing price of bitcoin and other digital currencies, many parties are taking advantage by creating their coins and selling them on the market with the aim of deceiving many investors. be careful and stay alert with newly released altcoins
342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much have you earned in one year on: August 24, 2021, 06:02:06 AM
I imagined how most bounty participants and trader who are below the senior rank most especially those who do not know how to choose good/high rewarding projects if they would would have even made up to $1k in the past 1 year. How would they feel if they have nothing meaningful to withdraw at this pandemic period and just looking at their wallet helplessly. How much have you been able to cash out in the past one year.

what I have gained since I joined as a bounty hunter is not much, it seems that I only have 10 million more, but what has amazed me since I joined the crypto community is that I know how to earn lots of money the easy way, either by becoming a trader or a bounty hunter. it means I found useful knowledge here
343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk Makes Meme Coins, What Do You Think? on: August 20, 2021, 08:28:03 AM
Elon Musk started to be talked about in the last few months, after making speculations about dogecoin at the time on Twitter, someone suggested Elon Musk create his own coin, to develop something new and a huge opportunity for him, this is understandable when all that happened, considering what happened done is speculation about its influence in the crypto world.

What is the best step, to make this wish come true?
What are Elon Musk's chances in your opinion?

He has a great opportunity to do that and has bright hopes if Elon Musk makes his own digital currency, besides Elon Musk is no stranger to his followers, Elon Musk is also very famous among digital currency enthusiasts. that's why he might be more successful if he created his own coin
344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Uniswap (UNI) good for investment? on: August 20, 2021, 08:20:36 AM
Most forums do not have enough information on Uniswap(UNI). Most people only know that Uniswap is a crypto trading platform like Binance, then that's all. Binance(BNB) coin is going up these few months. Does Uniswap(UNI) coin have a chance to go up? Does Uniswap(UNI) worth to invest?
Could anyone tell me? Thx!!

UNI is a coin that has had multiple holders and has its own exchange. I think investing in UNI seems like the right step in my opinion because the coin will have the opportunity to be more valuable and have the opportunity to rise
345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do whales manipulate the market? on: August 20, 2021, 08:12:42 AM
since 2015 they have been manipulating the crypto market, and that happened because there were no regulations or regulations to prevent what they were doing, therefore there was a Flash Crash on the market chart because they had made a scenario of selling in large quantities at one time so that the market experienced a correction
346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Avoid using LATOKEN and Cointiger to buy any altcoins. on: August 19, 2021, 05:30:47 AM
market with fake volume is very dangerous and it is called market manipulation. if that's the case with LATOKEN then it's best for those who use latoken it is necessary to avoid such exchanges
347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is not a rival of Bitcoin on: August 19, 2021, 05:16:01 AM
The comparison of the value of etherum and bitcoin is very far, the price of one BTC is $ 45,975 and one Etherum is $ 3,152 (15 August 2021, 16:53:00). Etherum is far behind BTC, although Etherum’s current popularity is great, unfortunately Etherum still can’t be the first in the market. what do you think?

Both are good digital currencies and have potential for storing value. But the two have vast differences, both in terms of usability, value and purpose. in terms of market demand bitcoin is far superior to ethereum, not to mention the price that no altcoin can compete with btc. that's why I don't think bitcoin is a competitor to ethereum.
348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Polkadot [DOT] is a bad investment because it has unlimited inflation! on: August 19, 2021, 05:05:10 AM
I see Polkadot often mentioned as a good coin when people are asking for DeFi plaforms. But Polkadot is not a good coin, I found out after some research.
Please be caution, when you buy coins because coins are often praised and not mentioned about disadvantages.

Here is why Polkadot is a bad coin for an investment:

- Polkadot hat unlimited inflation, means, Polkadot has not a fixed supply where we know how many coins will be produced.

Proof:

https://bisontrails.co/polkadot-token-economics/

What is inflation any why is inflation so bad?

Inflation is produced if always new coins or monetary supply is created. Everyone's coins or money will lose value because more coins are created.
It is what is happening in Turkey, in Argentina or in Venezuela, when money is printed. All circulating money is losing value when new monetary supply is printed.
Inflation is a big reason why Bitcoin exists and is so successful! Bitcoin will always have 21 Millions of coins, even in 50 or 100 years. Bitcoin is a great store of value!

Polkadot is opposite, it's a coin of inflation (proof: see picture above). It has no limited supply and every year, always more coins will come into circulation. magine what happens in 50 or 100 years? Polkadot will have a huge inflation
People will know more about inflation coins, when time passes but we can see it already here today if we are wise: some coins are a very good store of value (Bitcoin) and some coins are a very bad store of value (Polkadot).
When Polkadot is always mentioned, marketing persons who are pushing Polkadot are never mentioned about Polkadot's inflation!

But which coin can we buy instead of Polkadot?

What should we invest instead if we want a DeFi coin but want to avoid Polkadot, because it's not a store of value?
We can choose Avalanche [AVAX]. It is also a DeFi coin but has a capped supply of 720 Million coins:

https://medium.com/avalanche-hub/comparison-between-avalanche-cosmos-and-polkadot-a2a98f46c03b

Keep in mind when you buy a coin! Always research about inflation or if it's a store of value!
Even Dogecoin has huge inflation! Dogecoin is also not a store of value.

I think what you said in your thread is very true and needs to be avoided before the risk is experienced by many investors. although many say here there is no risk, but in my opinion there are more coins in circulation or do not have a limited supply, it will cause inflation in the future, especially since these coins cannot produce visible use. Therefore I think that there will be great risk if we invest in altcoins that have unlimited supply
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PolkaDot - Next Ethereum on: August 19, 2021, 04:45:49 AM
there are plenty of opinions from other people if you say so and so wish. I assume that your wishes and hopes will certainly not come true because the altcoin you are pairing with ethereum is not a competitor. I think it's very far between polka-dot and ethereum and polka-dot can never be the next ethereum.
350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you recommend staking? on: August 18, 2021, 09:52:02 AM
I was looking at staking my ethereum. The interest rate seems good and I found BlockFi.com which seems to be around 10% (not guaranteed rate though). Is there a risk of losing coins and is staking recommended? For Ethereum, which site pays the highest APR and is the most reliable/safest?

Thanks!

how about you hold on to the ethereum you have in your wallet longer?
because in this case I see it is better to use the long-term method to benefit you more, because in my opinion the long-term is a better strategy in this case because it will prevent you from selling when the price fluctuates. usually if it is implemented then this trade will be more in favor of you or other holders by getting big profits in the future
351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How crypto currency change your Life? on: August 18, 2021, 09:39:42 AM
How crypto currency change your life?

For me, When I was started it seems that in crypto world is not an easy way to have profits because of an online procedure and no controls. But then again when I know how to handle specially on Trading or in bounty program and that's the reason I started  to earn.

I think everyone will admit and say crypto can change his life when what he wants is achieved! but for people who haven't got results while in crypto then I don't think he will say like you asked in the thread above!
I believe that cryptocurrencies can change the lives of many people, firstly because success in investing in cryptocurrencies can provide great benefits and can make what you want.
Second, because of his success in hunting for prizes. I think with some of the reasons I mentioned, Cryptocurrency can change someone's life for the better.
352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: any project with coin distribution?? on: August 18, 2021, 09:12:27 AM
Is there any current project distributing free coins or having Airdrops?

Or anyone giving free coins as start up.. let me know I will message the address

for this year I've rarely participated in airdrops campaigns so I don't know which one is a good one to follow. If your bitcointalk account is still a newbi, you should look for a good bounty project for you to participate in social media campaigns. Usually there is a bounty project that accepts participants for social media campaigns with the rank of newbi. you should be able to join in it. please check it here, maybe there is a good one and you can follow.

353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFT is an interesting space on: August 18, 2021, 09:01:25 AM
Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) has been under the radar for the longest time, other than when cryptokitties jammed the Ethereum network.

The initial impression of NFTs is just a nice to have collectible, but if you look deep enough NFT can actually lead the industry a long way.

The most interesting concept of NFT at the moment is in the traditional gaming industry, all the characters, items, skins, equipments and skills you own in one game can only be used within that game itself.
But with NFT, all these collections that you have could potentially be transferable and usable in other games as well. One significant difference is the money you spent in one game will not go to waste, while the other risk that are taken off is if the game developers does not want to support the game anymore, your collections can still be used in other games.

At the moment, gaming is the largest potential for NFT, but lets not exclude any possibilities of it being used in other industries.

nft and DeFi seem to attract someone to invest in them, I think this is because of some interesting concepts offered by NFT. moreover the concept offered is for the game industry. maybe in the future NFT will become a sensation among gamers and will be the latest solution for the game industry
354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH adoption lately is high on: August 18, 2021, 03:53:45 AM
I think the price of Ethereum went up because of the hard fork that was already taking place in London, which happened on August 4 yesterday. It's important to note that after the implementation of the London Hard fork price we see the price of ethereum moving faster but we don't know how long ethereum will maintain its existence. hopefully we can see again the new ATH happening with ethereum and we can see its adoption increase too.
355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Polkadot and Uniswap Survive? on: August 17, 2021, 05:11:56 PM
Polkadot and Uniswap are both present in the crypto market in 2020. As a relatively new coin in the market, many are asking and thinking whether they will survive in the midst of the great old coins?
In January 2021 Uniswap slowly rose in price from $4.9. While Polkadot also experienced an increase in the same month and year by $5. The market continues to run and they are also holding on to prices not much different (Polkadot $27, Uniswap $29). Their rankings on the coinmarketcap list are also close together (DOT #9, UNI #11).
*source: https://coinmarketcap.com/
Let's discuss

within 24 hours is the volume of transactions increasing or decreasing?? I think both ( Polkadot and UNI ) have a good volume of transactions and are also listed on many exchanges so there is no doubt with the development of both.
but to invest in it I think very many people recommend it.
356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why FOMO when a coin is pumping on: August 17, 2021, 05:01:44 PM
I always wonder why a lot of people fomo to buy a coin or token after the price has pumped. In this present bull run I've seen a lot of people FOMO and buy cryptos at a really high price and they quickly dump when they witness drawdowns.
Isn't that just hustling backwards?? Its almost like they are trying to loose money on purpose.
So i wonder why they FOMO to buy in the first place

yes, I've also done things like, I started investing in altcoins that have been inflated in price, but I found normal prices, for example in BTt and aurora ! because I think that someday the coin will touch a higher price. therefore I ventured to invest.
I am optimistic by thinking that the crypto market never closes and the altcoins I invest in are not lost so that future opportunities should I take advantage of those profits.
357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Altcoin season started again? on: August 14, 2021, 09:53:09 AM
Hello there,

What do you think about the altcoin season in summer and autumn?

There are a lot of factors telling us that BTC will grow much higher according to the fresh news:

Amazon,
Google,
Facebook
Tesla.

And a lot of other positive news for crypto.

Nevertheless this market is so speculative and unpredictable!

maybe you could give me your piece of advice and share your opinion about a situation on the market?

I think for now it has begun to appear that some altcoins are providing the best prices on the market, including btt, aurora and many other altcoins that are starting to move to their best prices.
358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is BNB a good long-term or short-term investment? on: August 14, 2021, 09:44:10 AM
I think bnb is good to invest at any time, both using the long-term and short-term methods, both methods when used will benefit Bnb holders. but if to get more profit it's best to use the long-term method for bnb investments
359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BitTorrent (BTT) coin! on: August 13, 2021, 05:31:38 PM
What do you guys think about BitTorrent (BTT)? do you have any interest in it? do you think it'll pump soon? Smiley

it was added to coinmarketcap 2 days ago.

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bittorrent/#markets

maybe not many people predict btt will survive to this day in the market, some even say that btt is just a meme and joke coin in the market. but some time ago Btt has made some of its holders become millionaires and some have even become billionaires by taking profits in Btt. don't underestimate the Btt coin.
360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will The Sorrow of BTC Be The Pleasure of Altcoins? on: August 13, 2021, 05:03:38 PM
The word "Alt-coin" should mean "Alternative Coins". And the word alternative in a layman's language should mean having an obvious option. Example, having an alternative plan means I can decide to use Plan B, most especially if plan A may not favour me at that time. Also, Coffee is an alternative to Tea, in this scenario, alternative is a choice and not a measure of importance. In a situation where an alternative is a choice, is therefore means that the Sorrow of one will be the pleasure of the alternative.

Relating this to cryptocurrency, if BTC who is the mother of Cryptocurrencies and who has gained extensive trust ceases to exist today, will altcoins flourish or will it make the people loose total interest in cryptocurrency.

both have similarities and sometimes the dynamics that occur between bitcoin and altcoins are not in line, for example:
(when the price of bitcoin goes up, the price of altcoins goes down) this is the dynamic that happens with both of them.
examples that are aligned between the two are: (when bitcoin goes up the price of altcoins also goes up).
From the example I mentioned above, I don't think the level of trust in altcoins will be lost, especially altcoins that already have many uses.
