341  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Mga Artista Na Scam Ng Crypto Investment on: October 24, 2023, 02:00:47 PM

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4hbLUZgBUBM

May pambayad naman siguro to kasi sobrang daming niya toy collection.

Pero if below 250k yung annual income, syempre exempted tayo. Pag lampas dyan, syempre as law abiding citizens we have to comply dahil law yan eh.

As long wala ka pa nag declare ng monthly/quarterly/annual income mo, you do not need to worry much until ikaw mismo ang mag decide na mag file ng income tax report.

343  Economy / Economics / Re: What does being rich mean in your perspective? on: October 24, 2023, 01:39:49 PM
It's one of question which differs from person to person. How do you define richness?

In general, wealth means a lot. There are rich people in terms of money, but not rich in true friends. As for others, even if they are not rich in the state of their lives, they are rich in true friends and family.

But if we talk about it literally, being rich is when you have stable businesses that produce money in them; in short, there are many standing businesses and companies. Besides that, everything you want you can get with the money you have. From cars, jewelry, gadgets, and other material things.
344  Economy / Economics / Re: World Debt Clock by nations. on: October 24, 2023, 01:29:07 PM
The U.S. is still the world's leading debtor; should the US be happy that they are the world's most indebted country? The question is, can the US pay off such a huge debt of 33 trillion dollars?

Who are the developed countries? They are the ones with big debts to the central banks. And they are given loans because of the good economic performance of their countries and the high interest that they also give to those who will lend them money.
345  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there a formula for Bitcoin starters? on: October 24, 2023, 01:17:03 PM
Starting Bitcoin investment with little capital will be very challenging mostly if that happens to be the major survival option of the investor. And in cases where the investor plans on using the proceed to solve their needs they might end up selling when the price have dropped just to settle the pressing need of that time.

As experienced investors are there measures that can be imbibed by new investors with little capital to help boast their capital. Some will want to mention patience which I will agree to but in situations where the money is needed to meet an emergency need how to you tackle such situations. Your formula might be a saving approach.

If you're new to the crypto market, it's a good idea to start with a little amount of funds in performing trading activity if you want to do short-term trading, even though there is danger. It's fine as long as you also study here, even if it's rudimentary.

because what matters is that you learn something by doing it. Just remember that if you are not generating a profit with your trading strategy, something is wrong, so modify your approach, and when you see that you are earning a profit, remember that manner and stick with it. All you have to do is keep investigating.
346  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you prepare for a Bitcoin bull run? on: October 24, 2023, 12:49:41 PM
I started dollar cost averaging bitcoin (and only bitcoin) since early 2022 when it was in low 40K price, about a month or two before the collapse of Terra Luna.

As soon as that crazy thing happened, my strategy was to pause anymore buying and wait for the price to stop freefalling and approaching bottom, or where I thought that would be.
And I started buying back in heavily in the low 20K price. At this time I was buying  two or three times per week nonstop, almost every week.

But I paused briefly again after the collapse of FTX in early November, but only for a few days. I resumed buying later in the month.
I have been DCAing most of the way down to 16K (from 42K, with pause between 38K to 23K) and back up again to around 28K, for almost two years.

Because of DCA strategy, I have more than recovered my losses from early last year and don't intend to sell anytime soon.
Last week was my last buy just because I need to take a break and spend time with my family. I may resume DCA later.

But needless to say, my bags are packed!

You are doing a good job with DCA methods; it looks like you are accumulating a lot of crypto assets. You are probably one of the millionaires here in the crypto space when the halving and bull run come.

Just keep doing what you're doing, and a lot of us do DCA at times like this because most of the people here in the crypto space community are really preparing for this bull season thing. This is not the time to actually sell our holdings.
347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My little research. on: October 24, 2023, 12:39:10 PM
I haven't been here for long but I have taken my time to read through some of the important conceptions about Bitcoin, and with my little knowledge, I really know that Bitcoin is a good means of investment if I can hold it from now till dear life.
I have done a little research about Bitcoin and why some governments refuse to accept Bitcoin in their own country even when they know that they are in power to make the most important citizens in their country access it and take advantage of it, and it wonders me a little.

However, Bitcoin is a risky means of investment and it is not something that investors should be in a rush to sell. I am just saying this out of my own ideas based on my slight research.
I have a little business that I am doing so far, and I would like to accept Bitcoin in my business, but I don't have enough ideas about Bitcoin. That's why I want to learn more, but truth be told, it's good to practice while learning.
While learning about Bitcoin, I will have to practice it little by little with the little money that I can afford.

The last one you mentioned is good for me, where you practice little by little what you learn about Bitcoin. Just don't stop learning about it. Read most of the time here on the forum platform and also look at what other commentators are telling you here on the forum as well, because you will get an idea for sure.

The risk in Bitcoin will not disappear because of its volatility; all you need to know is how to take advantage of Bitcoin's volatility so that you can get a profit from it in the future.
348  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fake casino streamers! Why such streamers are very popular? on: October 23, 2023, 02:23:38 PM
I think that most streamers don't really play gambling; instead, what they really do is promote gambling or casinos because they get paid because of the number of followers they have. And often, the fake accounts that they always win in their livestreams are actually just dummy accounts.

And they are also paid a lot, to be honest, for every time they promote a casino in their video. It's around 200-300 dollars; if you only promote five of their casinos in a week, you have 1000 dollars that are ringing; it's easy money for them.

350  Economy / Economics / Re: Young people needs productive mindset to be happy in life on: October 23, 2023, 02:01:01 PM
Everyone in the community on this site likely wants to live a happy life. Even those who don't work in the crypto industry desire a fulfilling existence. The rest, on the other hand, are content to simply have a job, and they would rather have that than being unemployed, even if their pay is meager or does not exceed the minimum wage.

You understand what I mean when I say that occasionally I even see recent high school graduates with more employment than college graduates. Others who are having trouble finding work are just starting tiny businesses like direct sales.
351  Economy / Economics / Re: World economy not so difficult to Understood simple way on: October 23, 2023, 01:49:50 PM
Good try making it simple. I think it would be good to tell the instances when they'll start printing more. WW3 is becoming more and more real with all the conflicts from Russia-Ukraine to the tensions in the middle east started by the Hamas attack. The West seems to be increasing the tensions between countries with territorial disputes in the South China Sea also as part of their proxy war against China.

There are news that Biden may asks for another $100 Billion for military aid to Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan so there goes your money printing spree.

Investing in BTC and Gold/Silver could be the best move now before things turn even more ugly.

The hard part is that when WW3 happens, it should not happen because many people will die and be affected for sure. Not only financial, but even the entire economy of the country is affected. I am even praying that the ongoing war between Hamas and Lebanon will end now.

Then the US is like that: when their debt increases, they just print more of their money even though their dollar fiat has no backup reserves. Because they go through high interest rates, that's why they are still being loaned because of those offers.
352  Economy / Economics / Re: how businesses swindle the minimum wage employee on: October 23, 2023, 01:37:20 PM
so folks. the gist is.. if a business requires you to be away from home and performing activities that benefit them from 8:45-6:15 make sure they pay you for all of that time ESPECIALLY if its minimum wage
This a good and productive topic, but what about tips and bonuses, are there any,
..
Well, if your friend thinks, he is still getting paid less and he can not meet his expenses then he should ask for an increment but to do that, he should have a good approach to his boss.

no tips
and no .. tips should not substitute minimum wage. tips are suppose to be a gratuity ontop of wages.. i understand some countries have a different minimum wage for cafe waitresses, but again if a business cannot support its longevity by even paying the minimum/living wage. it should not be operating

It is true that not all countries around the world have the same minimum wage for each applicant. Just like here in our country, the minimum wage for an ordinary employee is too low. Then, with the number of applicants who are looking for a job, even degree holders who have completed it are still trying to apply even if their income is below the minimum wage.

As long as the pursuit and what is important to them is that they have a job and they will be paid every 2 weeks and at the end of the month, that's the mindset of others. Others who are capable of applying abroad are made to work outside their country because the minimum wage is higher.
353  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you prepare for a Bitcoin bull run? on: October 23, 2023, 01:26:27 PM
It's hard to keep up with when the plane takes off. I experienced that before. And for sure, the people who are negative about crypto or Bitcoin will buy it when the bull run comes. Many people will buy it, but the price is expensive for sure. If you don't want to follow and imitate them, it's better to do it now while there is still a chance.

I totally get where you're coming from, man. I've been there, too, and I'm not planning to repeat the same mistakes. We're more mature now, and this bull run seems like it's just around the corner. They say bull runs usually follow the halving, but what if this time it's different? What if it arrives earlier? So, I think we shouldn't waste any time here. It's like squandering an opportunity. Let's keep accumulating because that's the only way to prepare for this impending bull run.

As far as I can see, many of us have learned from the previous halvings and bull runs that if there are still people who don't want to believe, let them live their lives; after all, they are not without us. What matters is that we know that's what we're going to do, and we really don't want to be left behind again in the coming halving or bull run.

And in my opinion, the bull run will come before the halving starts, which means that as the halving gets closer and closer, the price value of Bitcoin will rise in the market, and after the halving it will continue for sure. still increasing until 2025.

You said that you began learning about Bitcoin and somehow developed an interest in it. You did an excellent job of learning about it, and based on what I could see, you clearly understood it. Even though you already know a lot about Bitcoin, just keep learning and expanding your knowledge of it.

It is also a nice plan that you are thinking of because you intend to use Bitcoin in your business. Make it one of your company's payment alternatives, and if any of your clients are interested, show them how to use it.
355  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin EFT income reach BTC 100 thousand dollars? on: October 23, 2023, 01:04:01 PM
Right now, many community investors believe in the speculation of the majority and even the experts in this industry. Before that happens, what will the SEC do about that? Because every time there is an application like that in the ETF, the SEC often gives rejection to those who apply for the application.

But who knows? Maybe in this instance of halving or the upcoming bull run, for the first time, there will be approval from the SEC with an application that can get through.
356  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: stay away from this ( scam allert for arbitrage traders) on: October 22, 2023, 11:59:22 PM
I can't open the site platform. Well,  anyway, as far as I know, it's possible that we can really get a profit in a day of 20% and sometimes even more, but of course it depends on what's happening in the crypto space and on the sellers of assets they have.

That's why the market is called unpredictable; it's volatile, and that's why pump and dump happens sometimes, right? But we also know that this does not happen often or every day; rather, it only happens once in reality. Now, if someone says that you can earn 20% daily, that is obviously not telling the truth, and that person is possibly a scammer or a red flag for sure, so if that is the case, avoid it immediately.
357  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Importance of emotion while trading on: October 22, 2023, 11:49:07 PM

Here are some ways to control these emotions:

1. Don't expect much profit. For example: You think that you will become rich by investing in a coin.

This part is, most of the time, the reason why most newbies enter this field of business. Because, if we look at it, there really is no other reason.
In my opinion, it is a given that we will actually make a profit here, and that is also the aim of Bitcoin and why it was created.

But we should also consider that it will not be easy to make and get the profit we desire and expect. It's better to know the right thing so that we won't be disappointed in the end, because if we do this, for sure profit will follow willingly.
358  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hal Finney was not Satosi Nakamoto on: October 22, 2023, 11:29:21 PM
It seems like I've read this topic before in this forum; I just can't remember which section I read it in. Many thought that he might be Satoshi Nakamoto because of the skills that Hal Finney has and the good characteristics that he also has. But no one has been able to prove that he is indeed Nakamoto.

Then he is also one himself; he denied that he is Satoshi Nakamoto, and as far as I know, this person was suffering from a severe illness that caused him to stop what he was doing here. And even though he was the first to receive Bitcoin does not mean that he is Satoshi Nakamoto; of course not, that is not the case, is it?

359  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your doubt has no effect on gambling. on: October 22, 2023, 11:19:34 PM

Yesterday, I booked a bet, but, fine if difficult to stake, because I thought the game was going to be lost. But here it is I won the best. I stake the bet at $0.13, and I won $49 in total. I have gotten several winnings in the past week, but I would like to say that I didn't expect the game to play accordingly the way I predicted it. Why? Because I haven't bet on the same predictions throughout all the games before, but yesterday I did it. That's why I said I didn't expect to win the game.

A friend of mine always says, game way go cut, go cut and game way go enter, go enter, and yes that's true, this game was supposed to, play accordingly, and it finally did, even with my doubts.

However, I will say that even your doubt can not make a game that you are supposed to win lose, because gambling doesn't work with mindset, it works with the risk and not your fear. Why the risk is because if you don't risk your money in gamble, you will not lose or even win.

In the first place, I congratulate you, and you won such an amount. All the decisions we make in gambling other than the purpose of just having fun are really taking risks in gambling because we are aiming for something that we want to happen in gambling.

Because most of them play to get profit here, or others think that it is a source of income, and others may think that they might get lucky in gambling and venture to grow the small amount of money they have. .  This is how the mindset of others actually changes.
360  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Possible measures to stop online gambling addiction. on: October 22, 2023, 11:09:31 PM
~snip~
If the gambler get motivated with the certain interval of time, then gambler will survive in the gambling for the big win.The gambler who had good money, never bother about the loss or profit.Only the poor gambler will try to encounter for the multiple times for the big win,So finally it become the addiction for them. The better way to stop the addiction was very simple,he need to control the money deposit to the gambling. The major difference between the gambling addicted person and ordinary gambler was the control of the deposit money and the way of the control their emotion in the betting of the gambling.
The important thing is that a gambler must try to create or do other activities so that his mind is not only focused on gambling and can do other activities where when he starts to be busy with other activities, he will not gamble too often. This will make him slowly reduce his gambling activities because he already has other things he can do. If he does other things more regularly and adds to his busy schedule with other things, that means he is starting to be able to reduce his busyness and he can definitely stop his gambling activities at any time. A gambler must do this, but it is hard and not easy because the temptation to return to gambling is always there.

I agree with this, gambling is not the only way to pass the time, there are many other things out there, there are many things you can do, you just have to explore to find what you want to do besides gambling if gambling is becoming a bad influence on you .

Yes, it is not easy to stop gambling, especially if you have put effort and time into it. You don't need to hurry when you quit gambling, just take it slow and you'll get there.

Yes, it's true that gambling is just one of the ways we can pass the time or make it a temporary hobby. Which somehow still gives us satisfaction if we have a problem, whether it's feeling impatient or stressed because of what we're going through.

It's also a different feeling to have an addiction to this that our routine longs for because we have a passion for it. And this habit is not easy to remove from the personal character of the gambler, and it needs a serious solution to get rid of or change if we want to become normal gamblers again.
