nice the price is recovering... this is a nice coin with many good features, but the sync is very slow, I hope dev will improve on the performance side.

344  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin may not be number one for long on: July 26, 2017, 05:00:59 AM
It's the dream of every single altcoin to surpass bitcoin. But, dream is dream, and altcoin is altcoin, and will remain to be. No way ethereum will ever pass bitcoin to become the number one. Not ethereum, nor any other altcoin.
345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: July 26, 2017, 04:57:26 AM
when will be next distrubution? 1 august?_

That would be horrific, not sure will be bitcoin panic or byteball panic, lol. after aug 1, people will buy back bitcoin and wait for byteball distribution.

Explorer website doesnt work.
Im mining right now but dont understand if coins is in mining process. How to see my balance?
i cant sync my wallet (w7) too. Added nodes, nothing happend.

Project looks super legit. More legit than 95% of recent ANN projects from here.

Wish them luck. Using no ICO model is very at the time. So this could have advantage.

Seems explorer is back online, maybe dev reset it.

For sync, use these nodes I have connected:

I feel frustrated reading this airdrops, excluding "newbies"... Undecided

Don't be frustrated since getting your profile up is only a matter of activity, quick and fast!
Plus you are almost there, keep up the good work and you'll get the airdrop!

I guess the dev will possibly relax the conditions soon to attract more people, possibly accept people registered after july 12.
350  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash (BCC) is an Alt-coin trying to profit off the Bitcoin Brand on: July 25, 2017, 11:22:32 PM
they will be able to fork, yes it is an altcoin trying to borrowing the name of the bitcoin, there are a few around, there's a bitcore? does similar things.
351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DeepOnion TOR Integrated, No ICO/Crowdfund, Free Airdrop 2nd Round Jul 28 on: July 25, 2017, 07:33:16 PM
In wallet 1.1 Why the heck did you remove the staking information?

This is extremely important information and must be re-added ASAP

As we speak the network weight is 678487 , in other words it makes 0 sense at all for me to keep wallet open and stake = energy waste

If this information is not visible I wouldn't know this at all !!
re-add it ASAP

The staking estimate time is kind confusing, especially to new people. Because if they see expect staking in 20 mins, and after 20 mins they don't get it, they think wallet is wrong. They don't know staking is just like mining, it is a competing process. So it makes sense for dev to remove it.

I must tell you the good news that, at the time of our last weekly reward ..
45 + users were became active from deny list (they increased valid posts counts)
Together with daily 15-20 new participants
We expect %50 - %100 more people to be paid at second round!

This is really amazing!

Amazing community, looking forward to the next round of distribution. Hope the community is growing even bigger, we'll be successful.
353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: July 25, 2017, 07:29:37 PM
Those people will probably link back just before the distribution. Because of the possible issues with bitcoin, some people moving out, but after Aug 1st, many will be back.
354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] CrazyBET.io Bet on any events with you friends. on: July 20, 2017, 02:17:09 AM
so many scam coins ICO, run by newbies who try to get quick and easy money. Are there "investors" for them?? I really doubt.
355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: July 20, 2017, 02:15:39 AM
hope price will recover, it's a nice coin and I am going to hold it for longer term.
356  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: A big problem in bitcoin ??? on: July 20, 2017, 02:14:15 AM
the fee will play a bigger role in sustaning the bitcoin network. Miners will still get coins, mainly from fees.
357  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: After Aug 1st and SegWit on: July 20, 2017, 02:11:54 AM
won't be much changes in price trend in a long run, so I am not concerned if there could be a split or not.
358  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-07-19] Russia To Legalize and Regulate ICOs on: July 20, 2017, 01:15:49 AM
Possibly a good thing, I saw so many russian based ICOs, better have regulations and laws, so people follow the procedure and can't simply grab the proceed and disappear.
359  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it too late to buy bitcoin? on: July 20, 2017, 01:13:43 AM
It's never too late, lol, when it hits $50000 and you look back, you'll find today's price is a steal. Same thing as the question that are you old? you are never old, as in 20 years when you look back, you are very young today Grin
360  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the death of block reward kill BTC? on: July 20, 2017, 01:12:02 AM
Hi
I was thinking about the blockchain and trying to re-evaluate how much I understand about how BTC works.

Bitcoin block rewards will not last forever, and mining is only profitable in rare cases. This means that when the block reward dissapears forever, mining will likely be profitable for nobody, and nobody will give hashing power to the blockchain because the miners fee only will not be enough to cover running costs.

To add to the problem, the miners fee is about to drop, and will never be ridiculously high (enough to solely cover miners expenses) because that in itself would kill Bitcoin. People wouldn't be willing to pay $5.00 to transfer $0.05 of Bitcoin, would they?

Thoughts?

Your thoughts not right. Even block reward become small, mining will get coins from network fees, in fact fee will become more and more important and will sustain the network, so there will always be miners and mining will not be stopped.
