I agree with not having a email conformation every time a setting is changed but maybe it would be a good idea to have one for the registration part.
342  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My wallet is stolen! (10 BTC) on: August 17, 2014, 01:42:29 AM
If your wallet ever gets stolen by anyone it's gone and you won't get it back unless the hacker as a guilt trip.
343  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do merchant services make a profit? on: August 17, 2014, 01:41:44 AM
Some simply charge cheaper to gain traffic and more income and rely on the price of Bitcoin to increase and cash out and make a profit that way a good business would probably do this for 60% of their funds.
344  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Selling cars for BTC? on: August 17, 2014, 01:40:19 AM
You would probably get more interest on this forum than anywhere else honestly this probably has the most traffic looking to spend their Bitcoin than a external site.
345  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do offline addresses get known by the Blockchain? on: August 17, 2014, 01:39:21 AM
Yeah it only gets stored when a payment is made otherwise it will just show 0 Bitcoin.
346  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Fastest way to earn small(?) amount of BTC on: August 17, 2014, 01:38:43 AM
Offer your services for Bitcoin maybe you are skilled at something and could sell that skill for Bitcoin.
347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's a cool way to present .1btc to someone as a gift? on: August 17, 2014, 01:38:05 AM
Thanks for the replies everyone. Those cards look pretty cool... although they are almost .1 btc themselves.  Angry Also... I assume you would have to trust the engraver with the private key, no?

Yes if you are having the private key engraved you would have to trust them which I COULDN'T personally I think the best option is to just give him the private key on a piece of paper or something like that.
348  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: do bitcoin ATMs really suck this much? on: August 17, 2014, 01:36:55 AM
I've not seen the atm in the video around but its probably made by someone who is stupid and had no idea what Bitcoin is....well judging on how they made it. It defeats all purposes of purchasing from a atm.
349  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to make a lot money online? on: August 17, 2014, 01:27:15 AM
I see people selling league of legend accounts, but not sure how successful its compared to the d3 story I heard.

Im seeing some ebay listings for $100 per account.

I don't know why people pay that amount for a account which you can enjoy building up anyway its like skipping half the game.
350  Other / Off-topic / Re: Can someone really trace you where you are? on: August 17, 2014, 01:26:25 AM
Admins of this forum may need to comply with laws in their country if the government ever want to access some information for legal purposes am I right?

It's the 17th here now, can I claim? Or is it USA time or something?

You can claim now I believe there's a 24 hour gap which you will be able to claim to allow for international time zones.
352  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: do bitcoin ATMs really suck this much? on: August 17, 2014, 01:18:07 AM
Looks stupid so much hassle to actually buy it from that ATM I'm not sure that all ATM's require all the information from you though.

Do we have to remember how many constructive posts we made? I've got it noted down on my other computer if I need too.

It's easy. Go to profile>posts then go through the pages until you see posts before July 17. From there on skim pages to see one sentence posts or short posts. Count em and subtract from total count of the month.

That's what I do.

Yeah I've already got it written down anyway I was just wondering if we need too write it down because it should be easy to use the form that we put in first of all. and considering we don't need to submit the form anymore it can be difficult sometimes as primedice document might be a different timezone to the forum.
355  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTS] Hero member account for sale on: August 16, 2014, 11:11:41 PM
Try auctioning the account off? maybe it will get more bids? Think you might find it hard to sell the account though because its got negative rep.

358  Other / Meta / Re: Account Hacked Help Plz! on: August 16, 2014, 01:07:16 PM
When you get your account back send a personal message to  the people who gave negative trust on the account.

From the conversations above it seems that the account really got stolen (not Hacked ~ Hackers dont steal).

As I can see, there is no -ve on this account => https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=87896. I guess no trusted member has left -ve on it.

There are some untrusted feedback on there and if that was my account I would want that removed when I got my account back.

As has been stated before I think, stunna should only be accepting senior and hero members (who are usually okay posters) many spammers are members and full members (often non English speakers throwing around grammatically incorrect phrases in off topic as said by light)

I have to agree with this.

Limit it to senior hero and the rare legendary members.

Also cut it down to 50 of them.

Full disclosure my main account is :

philipma1957  I am in the campaign as a hero member. Each month my post totals are about 450 to 525. I am posting from my secondary account.

Nobody is going to take you people seriously when you're obviously completely bias. How about he kicks Snr Members & Hero Members off the campaign since there isn't that many of them and most Hero Members dont post much, not to mention they get paid too much as well, and instead just have the best Members and Full Member accounts posting. You need to think outside of the box and not just sugggest chnages that obviously benefit you.

Actually there are quite a few Senior and Hero members around. Accepting Full Members and up sounds good. Most spamming is done my (junior) members. Spamming is bad advertising so basically spammers are getting paid for giving whoever is paying for their signature a bad name.

I think members + still but have members only earning around 0.05 bitcoin each month then full time members + have the same rates it will reduce the amount of spam by a lot.

This has been done by a few companies now and they are selling the plans off instead of making them themselves because its 0 cost for them and like $2000 profit for them.
