341  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Indian Premier League #IPL on: April 07, 2023, 05:07:30 PM
By another, i meant that most of the matches in this IPL are one-sided ones.

Look at the today's match, Sunrisers Hyderabad has made only  121 runs in their allocated 20 overs. If Lucknow Super Giants did not panic when chasing this score and do not lose quick wickets, it would be an easy win for Lucknow and yet again another one sided match.

Well in the last over Hyderabad put away two sixes, will this turn out to be a good turning point for them? Though 122 runs should be an esy target for Super Giants.
In this season, today we have 10th match with mostly are going one-sided which is surely not good start GT and PBK both have perfect start, but others are struggling badly specially most chances we will have SRH and Delhi as worst teams even having best bowling options and few good batsmen but their strategy and performance are completely down per requirements.

SRH having Brook and now today Markram which bowled out on first ball with this all most chances things could be not favorable for them even having good bowling with Umran Malik, Bhuvi and A Rashid are capable of having good performance, but they need good support from batting as well 121 is never been ideal score to defend right now after 13 overs we have 100 for 3 which mean it's just need 2 or 3 overs for ending and having good win for Lucknow.
It's true that so far matches Haven't been that good so far. I feel the impact player thing could be responsible for it as well. Team who is favourable in the match generally used impact player to put even more pressure. Like if you already have made a high first innings score. You add a new bowler to the side which obviously going to shift the match to winning team side even more.
342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin overshadowed by economic lie on: April 07, 2023, 05:04:18 PM
Bitcoin exist for over a decade yet there’s only few percentage of the human population is involved on Bitcoin investment. Not because that the majority of people is not aware nor exposed but because they are the victim of economic lie such disinformation towards Bitcoin through negative propaganda of Banks.

We are all being feed of wrong information of economic norms by the billionaires that benefiting the current system. Bitcoin is the best asset to invest in terms of price growth on long term period yet people are still scared to touch due the wrong information given by the main stream media.

In the country that I live, Bitcoin has a stigma of being a scam because our own government warn the public to not engage on Bitcoin investment due to a lot of scam involves it and the volatility is high. Most of the people here including the old professional don’t dare to touch it despite Bitcoin already has good price history.

I think more than the economic lie it's about the inherent nature of bitcoin as well. Like it's volatility, it's a big issue for everyone. If someone invests it's saving earned as a salary or basically earned outside the crypto world he/ she will obviously repent investing when he loses money because this isn't how traditional savings and investment works. But yes the big lies also have some effect on Bitcoin's adoption.
343  Economy / Economics / Re: The beginning of the end for centralized AI? on: April 06, 2023, 06:04:44 PM
There is a rumor going around that Centralized ChatGPT is getting banned, I don't know if this is official yet but it is official that in Italy the government is worried about privacy concerns and they put a ban on ChatGPT, is this the beginning of the end for ChatGPT? How will this impact decentralized AI projects because I believe they can't be banned.

Another possibility is if ChatGPT or OpenAI start getting banned in other parts of the world we can see a big rally on AI projects on the blockchain, what do you think?

Banning AI is sheer stupidity, i have seen Italy has done that but their concerns are over the privacy concerns relating to user data. In general banning it to avoid it is Obviously not going to work. It hasn't worked in the past and will not work in the future also. Lots of governments previously also has tried banning emerging technologies like bitcoin also but nothing has actually worked ever.
344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Indian Premier League #IPL on: April 06, 2023, 06:00:06 PM
KKR vs RCB. Kkr inning just got over, very entertaining, at first it seemed like they might be not able to cross even 150 but here we are with 204 knock. Poor performance from seam rcb bowlers — wides, NBs and Full Tosses, especially Siraj and Akash deep, may be due to pressure. Today luck appeared to be on Shardul's side, close catches several times.
Lets see how long Virat Kohli survives and if Umesh Yadav shows a good partnership with Virat to sustain the RPO required to win the match.

Virat Kohli and Umesh Yadav partnership, what?

This is third stupid comment I have seen in last two pages, I have doubts if this forum people have really started using ai.

Maxwell gone as well, I doubt RCB will win today. My pick was RCB, rip.

That is clearly and AI written comment for sure. I have hardly seen anyone using RPO acronym but anyways.

About the match. I think KKRs strategy to bring the spinners initially in the game was very good because the ball was dry in the initial overs and grip was better. RCB batsmen should have waited for the last overs to take some risks because we have seen even 100 runs being made in 7-8 overs due to wet ball as you'll see a lots of full tosses and length balls at that time. So big mistake from RCB and also a new strategy of using spinners initially in the game might start from other teams as well.

346  Economy / Economics / Re: Rules of Taxes on: April 06, 2023, 05:46:31 PM
We all know that all citizens in all corners of the world must be taxpayers. Let me say about taxes in my country:
1. vehicle tax
Obliged to pay once a year, but there are also those who do not pay and the authorities also do not come to the taxpayer's house and in the end it is left abandoned
2. Land tax
Once a year the authorities will come to the taxpayer's house to collect taxes
3. Income tax
This will be my concern this time, whether all countries treat the same rules or not, I want to hear from all of you.
Income tax in my country in general will be very effective for employees of government agencies, offices and entrepreneurs. Let's say this, everyone earns whether it's from farming, freelancing, or any kind of work that isn't recorded at the tax office, if they don't report it to the tax authorities then they are exempt from tax. However, there is a provision that if someone has ever borrowed a large amount of money from a bank, even though the borrower was not notified by the taxpayer at first, in the end he was exposed to the taxpayer's accumulation of taxes over the years and he didn't know.

I mean this tax regulation seems uneven and it seems that people who have to pay taxes are people who deal with large amounts of money. Let's say a farmer in 1 harvest (3-4 month) earns $2000, he will remain tax free if not registered or he doesn't register it whereas an employee from the start is already registered with the taxpayer even though their monthly salary is $300. What do you think? I'm a little confused with this tax rule.
You forgot the biggest source of tax for the government which is the goods and services tax which is levied whenever you buy anything. If you see on an yearly basis, this will be the tax you'll be paying the most. Apart from this don't forget about the toll tax that we pay when using major highways and I am still not putting up the taxes paid on agreements made like the stamp duty and other fees. Also as you are saying tax rules are confusing businesses always have advantages when compared to salaried people in taxes.
347  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading is perfect work for jobless peoples on: April 02, 2023, 08:04:15 PM
In life there are many peoples wants freedom and this is available in day training and not any restrictions that whenever and wherever you want to doing work
If we thing about that are in enjoying with your family there you are also allow to work as well and also enjoy
Also freedom from your Boss.
What you are saying is just like making lavish dish out of remaining groceries is best for a person with no money left. Trading is a very risky affair, you often end up screwing the whole capital a lot of times. Even if you don't end up blowing up full, there are very good chances you will never be profitable, for this whole time then how will your survive? How will you feed yourselves and your family if you have one? It's like gambling with every last bit of penny left with you.

One need to understand that first of all trading needs capital. You can't do trading without any capital. Second you need the right mindset, just earning quick money mindset is the worst mindset to make money in trading. Thirdly you need to have extra capital to dive in the market again if you blow up the first account. Jobless will not have any of these even if he has good skill set of trading.
348  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Indian Premier League #IPL on: April 02, 2023, 07:59:48 PM
The explosive Rajasthan Royals opener Josh Buttler was lost, but the team still got off to a strong start, scoring 87 runs in the first ten overs. To achieve the 200 run threshold which will greatly increase their chances of winning the game, they must however quicken their scoring rate. Sunrisers Hyderabad, on the other hand has a difficult assignment ahead of them: 154 runs in only 52 balls. They will have to play out of their skin in order to win the game because it is a difficult objective. As things stand Sunrisers Hyderabad's chances of winning this match appear slim.

All the games played till now in IPL are very much one sided, haven't seen any close contest till now. May be as the tournament progress we will see intense battles.

Rjistan Royas played there first game and what an opening game they have today. 85 runs on 35 balls before Yashasvi Jaiswal was substituted out. The substitution was followed by Sanju Samson hitting. All top 3 batsmen of RR scored half centuries. After dominating in batting, RR bowlrs were too good with the ball, Yuzvendra Chahal picking up 4 wickets.
I think Yashasvi scored 53 runs, didn't he? Or I think you are talking about runs scored by RR in the powerplay right? RR was dominating all the way today. The young team is all set to create big impact this time. But the only problem I find with RR in almost every season is that they start really well but eventually aren't able to maintain that consistency and therefore end up the league stage on a very bad note which leads to them never being able to win the trophy. But yes RR utilized the impact player really well as well. Even though I understand the concept of Impact player but the problem is that Impact player thing is clearly used by all the teams simply to get an extra batter and extra bowler as well, creating sort of a 12 vs 12 game.
349  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 2years of trading! on: April 02, 2023, 07:53:50 PM
Good initiative for sure. I liked especially the quotes from various traders about the markets. I feel every trader should paste a few of these quotes on their desk so that they are always reminded to stay calm during situations of high pressure. Traders often end up making decisions hastily whenever they are stuck in such situations the key is to remain calm and avoid revenge trading or over-trading in such scenarios. Also, FOMO & FUD are obviously the two biggest enemies of any trader. Anyways eventually I started to think that it's better to create small scripts or algos using AI softwares to automate your trading to some extent. This sounds difficult but can be tried in some cases and best part is that even a non coder can do this.
350  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Evidence that I actually invested for my baby on: April 02, 2023, 07:48:28 PM
Few days a go, I made a thread on the topic "early bitcoin investment for my baby" I got some comments saying I should show evidence showing I actually invested the money.

Here is the evidence: https://imgur.com/a/3Xr9pJq

I invested the $50 and even more from my little savings and from what I got from what well wishers gave to my baby.
I will be putting money in the wallet from time to time too.

Thank you all for the congratulatory messages. I really do appreciate. 🤗
Even though the amount isn't that big but the initiative is a good one for sure. My parents in my childhood had a piggy bank in which they used to store all the money I used to get from my relatives, unfortunately, they stored it in piggy banks, if they too would have bought some bitcoins from it, things would have been entirely different today.  Grin But anyways I hope your child doesn't get this regret. Also, I would like to say another thing. If your horizon is like very long it'll be wise to diversify into good altcoins as well, don't just stick with bitcoins as obviously low value coins have better chance to reach good market cap a few years down the line.
351  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is more profitable trading ETH/USD or ETH/BTC on: April 01, 2023, 07:26:27 PM
Can you give me insight, do you think trading via ETH/BTC is more profitable than ETH/USD? Please give me an advice.
It's all about your analysis honestly. There is no correct answer to this. The pair you'll get a better trading grip on first should be your go to trading pair. ETH/USD is generally easy to trade as you have to trade with the market while ETH/BTC hasn't been that volatile lately as BTC and ETH have too much correlation with each other these days lately. So i think ETH/ USD is naturally better.
352  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: April 01, 2023, 07:19:02 PM
Scoring a 193 is definitely a challenging score, and it turns out that Delhi Capitals will have to do extraordinary things to surpass the total put up by Lucknow. Despite having a strong batting unit, Delhi has unfortunately failed to capitalize on the game so far. Already five wickets lost, Bishnoi and Mark Wood have taken two and three wickets respectively for their team. Mark Wood has been delivering some seriously fast-paced balls, which contributing to his team, Lucknow Super Giants' success. At this point, it seems as though Delhi's chances of making a comeback are slim to none.

Start of IPL with victory by Lucknow Super Giants and Punjab kings. Lucknow Super Giants gave a target of 193 runs which is always good enough to defend. From Delhi Capitals only David Warner and Rilee Rossouw were able to score 56 and 30 runs. Delhi got a good start of 41 run in 4 overs but they keep on losing wickets after that.
A very similar target was given by Punjab Kings to KKR and KKR performance was very much similar to DC but the match was interrupted and Punjab Kings were short of 7 runs.
I think if the match between KKR and PBKS wasn't interrupted it would have led to an even bigger win for PBKS because KKR had already lost 7 wickets and the remaining batters really couldn't have been able to do a lot of things in the Remaining overs but yes it was a good chance for KKR just if Russel had hit couple of more boundaries. In that scenario i would have said PBKS were too unlucky to lose this match.
353  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Supercycle? on: April 01, 2023, 07:12:43 PM
Is it possible to have a bull run for the next couple of years? I mean more people and companies start using bitcoin often and knowing there's a limited supply of it, the demand for the crypto will go up eventually. Do you think it's possible considering inflation and our global economy today? I know its a very volatile asset but what do you think?
Yes it's possible for sure. I have realised one thing in crypto market nothing is impossible bitcoin going to below 10k is also possible in this scenario and bitcoin touching another ATH is also possible in this scenario. I say this because bitcoin has it's halving due next year and it has a history of reaching a new ATH in the year next to it's halving year, so who know bitcoin might be on another supercycle in just another 2 years.
354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Indian Premier League #IPL on: April 01, 2023, 06:11:09 PM
Punjab Kings  vs  Kolkata Knight Riders

In today's first match, Punjab Kings will play against Kolkata Knight Riders. The Punjab team has star players like Sam Curran, Shikhar Dhawan, and Rabada. The team is strong enough. However, we still do not know how the players of the team are in form. On the other hand, the Kolkata squad has star players like Ventakesh Iyer, Liton, Russel, and Shakib. Sakib and Liton are in good form now. But we are not sure yet how Liton will perform in IPL.

Actually, both these teams seem equally strong to me. But I think the Indian players of Punjab are better than the Indian players of Kolkata. But we don't know how they will perform on the field. But I personally like the Kolkata team. I will definitely expect Kolkata to win.

KKR captain Nitish Rana won the toss and took the fielding decision. But Kolkata bowlers are not able to perform well. Punjab collected 109 runs in 11 overs. And they lost just two wickets. Shikhar Dhawan was unbeaten with 34 runs off 23 balls. Bhanuka Rajapaksha returned to the dressing room after scoring 50 runs off just 32 balls. Every batsman in the top order is able to perform well. Because the performance of Kolkata bowlers is not good enough. Umesh Yadav can bowl with some control but I don't see better performance from any other bowlers. Bowling like this, I think Punjab will collect like 210 today. If Punjab provides more than 200 targets, it will be much more difficult for Kolkata to win this match. Kolkata's lineup doesn't seem too strong either.
KKR team looks so average this time. The bowling attack is good but that also looks so average on a flat track. Batting only looks good until their openers bat and when Russel comes to bat apart from this looks like no one has any role to play. Punjab played well as well have to give them the credit atleast in the batting they batted really well.
355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: March 31, 2023, 07:21:45 PM
Insane crowd numbers in the first match of IPL 2023. Gujarat are playing really well even without Miller at the moment. CSK need to remove Tewatia and Khan asap if they wish to somehow win this one.

Shankar is actually playing well for a change. CSK's new bowlers are performing decently considering that this is their first match.
The crowd in IPL was a never problem as most of the ground has a low capacity of 50-60k spectators but this Motera stadium is magnificent with its capacity, vibes are completely different there. I'm planning to go there for the finals, hope I get the tickets when the time comes.

Lost a bet tonight so I'd blame Dubey ji's inning. He did the damage, they were at least 20 runs short and what was that impact player (Deshpande) lol. Grin

Having said that it was a paisa vasool match. I loved the desi commentary like Bhojpuri and Punjabi.
Man I saw how quickly the IPL tickets in Bangalore went, all the tickets got sold in just a couple of days despite being priced so high, it's just crazy fanbase of IPL in India. Obviously it has always been the stadiums capacity that is limiting the crowd to come into the stadiums. Otherwise for anyone watching a 3.5 hour match is better than watching a movie in a theatre or any similar thing like that.

Man I loved Punjabi commentary it felt as if it was my Gully cricket days commentary   Grin even Bhojpuri one is so funny.
356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Indian Premier League #IPL on: March 31, 2023, 05:54:34 PM
Nice initiative giving a separate thread for IPL discussion. I am surprised Royse777 didn't went on to organize any superbru this time but anyways I think we were having quite low participations in that. But yes this thread is good forum for discussion.

Today's match looks completely in favour of Gujarat Titans so far but as you know the beauty of T20 it's never over till it's over. Wicket of Vijay Shankar can change a lot of things here.
357  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: one mistake that crypto beginners should be aware of ? on: March 31, 2023, 05:48:48 PM
There are a lot of mistakes being made by crypto beginners. I think they made mistakes like choosing an inappropriate crypto exchange platform, thinking only about pricing instead of ROIS, lack of research and planning, and underestimating cyber security. If they were aware of such things, it will be more beneficial for them.

I think this applies to every field. The beginners are called beginners because they get scammed or lose money due to their unawareness on lots of things. The worst mistake as you mentioned is going for exchanges instead of wallets and investing in shitcoins instead of good coins. These are two basic mistakes that almost every one does even most of us did. But obviously there are lot of resources these days where they can educate themselves even on the forum there are a lots of guides for newbies.
358  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Credit creation on a Bitcoin standard on: March 31, 2023, 04:35:28 PM
Hello, I have bitcoin since 2017 and follow all the various discussions about the future of bitcoin and how it may become the monetary standard one day.

One thing I can't really see an answer to is how credit creation would work on a Bitcoin standard (or gold standard for that matter) as the system would be fully reserved and not fractionally reserved as the current standard is...

Wouldn't this mean there would be a limited amount of credit available to lend out then? Which could then hinder economic/growth expansion? Would be great to get an explanation on this, thank you
This actually is a one of the great criticism which traditional economists do on bitcoin. According to the traditional economics for economic growth there has to be an inflationary setup where new credit and new money is continuously being created in the economy. Bitcoin hinders it by capping a limit on that which would mean money would eventually get dearer instead of getting cheaper and people would eventually keep on hoarding money itself than spending it leading to a deflationary spiral situation and collapse of economy. But honestly, practically this might be very difficult from what we have in theory so I would like to see the idea in practice for sure.
359  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon musk still market booster? on: March 30, 2023, 09:04:12 PM
Is Elon musk still market booster and markit crusher or markit just moving on news and Elon musk investment in Bitcoin or just published news about that
He isn't that effective now obviously. Most of the people who earlier used to respect him now feel him more like a dumb ass who speaks a lot of random things on social media. So obviously his reliability has gone down a lot. Especially the meme coins saga has hit his credibility as well. But obviously he is world's richest billionaire so obviously anything he say isn't going to go unnoticed, so it will effect the market but only not that largely like it used to do at some time.
360  Economy / Economics / Re: Is capitalism killing morality in the name of the law? on: March 29, 2023, 03:57:13 PM
Usury is an immoral profession in almost every society. But today this immoral profession has a modern counterpart. Its name is banking. And banking is regulated by law.

Making money by prostitution is an immoral profession in almost every society. But today this immoral profession has a modern counterpart. Its name is porn industry. And the porn industry is regulated by law.

Do you think moral concepts are being killed by capitalist imposing laws who want to make more money?
Haha this is really true. I just saw a reel that day which showed pretty much this only. In it people were doing prostitution but eventually police catches them but they had a camera nearby so they told it's not actually prostitution it's porn as it's paid but it's being recorded. So you are correct when big companies wants things their way they know how to change the law as well. I think it's more like immoral concepts are also becoming legal due to capitalism.
