341  Economy / Economics / Re: I wonder if food prices in your country have also increased? on: September 03, 2023, 03:52:06 PM
This is the biggest problem right now in my country. We have high inflation, everything is getting more expensive day by day but the increase in food prices is the most challenging situation for the people. We have other economic problems like house rents, electricity etc.
In general food prices are going up in the world but it hits harder for developing countries. I don't think this will change anytime soon.
342  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: September 03, 2023, 12:13:38 AM
Bellingham is a savior for Real Madrid but they can't rely on him whole season long. At some time they'll fall down. They didn't get Mbappe or Osimhen and they'll pay for this gamble. They were lucky their fixture started with weaker teams. They are trying to get through this period with the least damage. They will play with Barca in 2 months. Injured players may return then. I believe they'll lose points in next two games after international break. The real test for Real Madrid will be against Real Sociedad and Atletico Madrid.
343  Economy / Speculation / Re: what a surprise dip on: September 02, 2023, 11:49:37 PM
When you spend enough time in this market, nothing comes as a surprise to you. Bitcoin has now fallen back to places that are said to never go below this price. Just when it was said that we are entering the bull market, it experienced decreases. These shouldn't be surprising. The market manipulates the emotions of the small investor, forcing them to sell their holdings. As soon as people are filled with hope, the market can collapse. On the contrary, it can rise when they are most desperate.
If there's one thing I know, don't trust anyone's price estimation. Don't invest the money you need in short term. As long as you don't sell, you're not at a loss. As long as these basic rules are followed, you will be comfortable.
344  Economy / Economics / Re: Stable coin or having USD in bank on: September 02, 2023, 11:32:58 PM
Cash is king. You can't trust banks, you can deposit whatever amount you want to but when you want to withdraw you have to give advance notice. You can't withdraw your own money from the bank whenever you want. You can't trust stablecoins either. There is always a possibility that they fall down from $1 = $1 stable coin pair.
It's best to keep the money in cash. Keeping cash in a safe at home seems like the best option for countries with high inflation like ours. Unless you hold it in BTC though, that's always the best option.
345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Layer 1 Projects speculation on: September 02, 2023, 08:50:52 PM
I found different layer 1 projects for the next bull run.  Did I miss any other layer 1 projects? I am trying to find the testnet projects
...

I'm only familiar with 5irechain from the list you shared here. I heard some of them but didn't really pay attention. I've never even heard of most of them.
The problem is there are a lot of similar type of projects. It must have an important feature that distinguishes it from others. If we just look at it as a pump & dump, some of these projects can do good, but I'm not sure how many of them will survive in the long run.
346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token Promotion on: September 02, 2023, 07:40:29 PM
Tell me how to promote the token? And which exchanges have the cheapest listing?

You can start a bounty campaign, make referral system, give advertisement to well known news sites etc.
If you are looking for exchanges with cheap listing then that means you don't really believe in your project. Good projects get listed without even giving any money to exchanges. Your impression you made here is that you have a copycat coin that you want to sell ignorant people to get rich quick.
347  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: September 02, 2023, 06:06:27 PM
Alcaraz vs Evans the total line is set at 28.5 , i prefer the under 29.5 for some extra safety

Evans was better in second set than first one but Alcaraz is too strong against him. Alcaraz broke Evans' resistance with the points he got at critical times.
It looks like the game will finish in third set, your bet is safe then.

Nole looks tired after the last game. He should finish games in less than 5 sets to stay fit. I want to see him in the final.
348  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Binance, TRM Labs Crush ISIS Threat in Tajikistan & Turkey on: September 02, 2023, 05:56:45 PM
Good for Binance, they always collaborate with governments against these type of situations. I don't like seeing crypto-currencies affiliating with terrorism at all, same for scams.
I don't see any news about that in local news outlets though. I guess it's only for Tajikistan. If an arrest was made here, it would break the news eventually.
349  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: September 02, 2023, 12:08:54 PM
You are quite right about West Ham winning comfortably but I still feel they can draw the game because Luton may seek to gain at least a point since they haven't won any of their 3 games since this season, but then again, West Ham may look to make this game their fourth unlucky fixture.
That tactic David Moyes usually uses of introducing Antonio Michael in the second half always has a positive effect on the side as he most times produces goals more than when he starts. Another interesting player to watch is James Ward Prowse. Ever since he came in for them, he has played a key role for the club, having a goal and an assist to his name since joining from Southampton.

I made a special bet for West Ham win and over 1.5 goals combined for 1.77 odds. I was pretty sure about my bet and happy to won it comfortably as expected.
If Bowen plays like that West Ham will be in better position this season. He already scored half of what he made last season from 38 matches in just four games. James Ward-Prowse was a great transfer, he's already started to contribute to the score. It's nice to see West Ham playing for top five again.
350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: September 01, 2023, 05:54:57 PM
West Ham started the league very well, their performance in the first two games was very good and they are now in one of the top ranks. Their opponent tonight is not a very strong opponent and I think they will win this match without difficulty, three points are very valuable for them in the coming weeks if this performance continues.
Good season is coming for West Ham Smiley

Normally, West Ham United should win comfortably today. It would be a surprise if Luton Town get even 1 point from this match. Luton Town looks like the worst team in the league by far. I don't think they can stay in Premier League at the end of the season. West Ham United did a very good start to the league though. Michail Antonio and Jarrod Bowen are in great shape.
We may see West Ham win with at least three goals. If that happens this would be the worst record in Premier League as Luton Town being the first team to lose their first three games of the season with 3 goals differences.

Send me one so I can make a review!  Grin Tongue

Jokes aside, I know their rugs. They all look like high quality. Türkiye is known for these types of rugs, tourists love them.
You might want to add a photo album to show more options.
352  Other / Meta / Re: Request for the merit source for the Polish board on: August 30, 2023, 05:00:42 PM
i think we need a new moderator on the polish board rather than a merit source.
what the last days/weeks and months there for new (trash) topics have arisen, where any projects/airdrops or websites are being advertised... that takes so slowly out of hand and makes the whole polish board more confusing. here are a few examples:

these are all threads that have been created by new users who then simply have not and will not check in again
and since unfortunately our moderator malevolent has not been online for almost half a year, no one can delete these things and bring order back to the board

Did you report these posts? All of them are Newbies but as a Patroller I don't see any report for them in the queue.
If you report these posts Patrollers and Global Moderators can act on them.

You can PM me the best posts monthly so I can evaluate them and send merit until you get a new merit source.
353  Other / Meta / Re: xzone Merit Source Application on: August 30, 2023, 11:36:40 AM
Even though Turkish local board is the second biggest local board in the forum we don't have active merit sources as other local boards. Some sources became inactive and some sources left by their own will and there were no replacement happened.

There isn't any active merit source application in Turkish local board besides this one. Xzone would be a great fit to be the new merit source. I hope theymos will consider this request as well as others when he decides to assign new merit sources.
354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: August 29, 2023, 03:47:01 AM
Djokovic humiliated Muller in first set with 6-0. Muller could only win his first game in nineth one. It looks like Nole doesn't want to waste his time and energy in first rounds.
If he keeps his stamina high he's my favorite in US Open. Nobody dominate US Open. Last 5 champions are different. Now it's time to turn back, probably it will be either Djokovic or Alcaraz. Their final would be epic.
355  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BlackRock wants to reduce the price of Bitcoin on: August 27, 2023, 07:09:30 PM
Meh, even if that's true I don't care. They want to accumulate more, so am I.
Bring some more cheap coins by manipulating the market. I won't sell, I'll buy. Let's see who will win this fight.
356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: August 27, 2023, 06:04:18 PM
I admit that Barcelona's defense in this match was really unsatisfactory, but the performance of their attackers and midfielders was good enough that it helped them win the match. Gavi, De Jong, Ferran and Lewandowski scored one goal each, but of course I didn't really expect Barcelona to concede 3 goals. Xavi needs to make strategic changes in the next match so that his team can play better in defense. Lamine Yamal, who appeared slick, managed to become MVP in this match, of course he became a new gem in the Barcelona squad.

It's not important how many goals you conceded as long as you score one more than that. For Barca this wasn't a situation we were used to, but when we think of Villarreal matches in general, we see that the matches were full of goals. In the past, the matches of these two teams had always finished as high scores.
Villarreal deserved to get some points from this game. It was a game with a lot of back and forth, but in the end it was Barca who won 3 points.
Barcelona should win the league again if they keep playing like that.
357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: August 27, 2023, 05:23:35 PM
That was a great match, especially second half was fun to watch. Sheffield United actually played better than expectations and they almost got a point but Foden and Rodri said no to them. Haaland was marked whole game but still scored somehow, with a great assist from Grealish. Haaland missed a penalty for the first time though, it's not that important as long as they won the match and get 3 points. Manchester City looked like they are still the best team in PL. I don't see a competition here.

It looks like the host is living good. Grin
359  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: August 27, 2023, 01:44:46 AM
Real Madrid got their hands on the best available players in preparation for this season, and the result of that is what we are seeing in the club's performance this season, I believe Real Madrid will be able to reclaim the lost title from Barcelona this season, and with the current standing, Real Madrid can face any club without any fear since their get the best hands to do the job this season.

I think Real Madrid wasted too much time while waiting on Mbappe and now Mbappe returned to play for PSG. They should have a backup plan. Real can win games with Bellingham and Vini but they can't win championship with this squad. If they don't make additions to the forward line this could be another easy season for Barcelona.

Another bad start for Sevilla. Mendilibar might lose his last season's credit soon. Atletico game next week will be crucial for them.
360  Economy / Economics / Re: People keep talking how weak dollar and how bad usa economy getting on: August 27, 2023, 01:05:50 AM
I think it's talked in other places that America's economy is bad, but in our country it's still known how strong the USA is. Nothing will happen easily to the American economy. There was a unipolar world in recent years, but other developed countries are trying to change this. We may revert to a multipolar order in the medium term, but this doesn't mean that America is weak. If a new currency emerges, we may see a hard power clash. This requires being prepared for new wars though, which is bad for whole world but that's the reality and we have to be prepared for that.
