341  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dont break rules while trading on: November 01, 2019, 12:21:16 PM
I follow some rules. Am not sure if they will work you for everyone but these are the basics.
1. Keep it simple. Once I tried to gather as much info before start trading. Many indicators, many news, vast analysis made me paralyzed to trade.
2. Avoid crypto trading on weekend and Friday too. Instead enjoy the holidays.
3. Never do Revenge trading, you will only trade whenever you have proper mindset.
4. Never love any asset, emotional trading will kill your investment.

Consider those tips as free gift, not financial advice. Always do your own research
You missed the most important part of trading and that is set a target/goal. If you bout your token at $5 and you want to let go of it once it reached $7, better stick to it no matter what the market condition is. This is the reason why there's a of traders out there who gets trapped holding a coin that reached its peak but held on to it and price dropped like a fly. Nut if you stick to the plan and sold it while price is still good, you are going to enjoy the fruits of your labor.
342  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs. Donaire WBSS Bantamweight Final on: November 01, 2019, 12:00:03 PM
This fight will be held in Japan i think, not China. I think there will be handicap but they will put it only days before the fight.

Venue: Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan

Fighting in your opponents hometown is challenging. Imagine your opponent will have the whole crowd behind his back and every time he throws a jab, crowd will react negatively. Unfortunately, Donaire's chance to win is getting slimmer and slimmer. He may wan't to win this match badly but everything from odds, age, crowd, record is all against him. He only have experience and heart and nothing more.
343  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do expert traders hide their loses? on: November 01, 2019, 11:48:52 AM
I notice that some experts doing online trading journals just show you all their wins, and they hide their loses and anything stupid they did to lose money.  What traders out there sharing their daily trades are The Real McCoy?  I am sure that ever super traders make super stupid mistakes, then they just do not want people to think they did anything stupid. Where are their big loses at? Why do they only show their wins?

The Real McCoy
Ok so lets put it this way, if I made a stupid mistake, suffered a loss and I did not announce it to the world, how can others know that I made a blunder and suffered a huge loss? If I tell to the world that I lost $10,000 USD in a single trade what would make that out of me? Will I gain it back? I don't see any good reason to tell the world, so why would I.
344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's worse: cigar addiction or gambling addiction on: October 31, 2019, 11:58:05 PM
Cigar addiction is worse, why? Even if you stop smoking, your lungs is already damaged. You cant get a new pair of lungs from any store and have yours replaced. There are even times when you stop smoking, you will feel different and try to smoke again. Unlike gambling addiction, if you stop, you work again and you. can still recover all the money you lost.

One thing I noticed is when you are a cigar addict, more likely you are also a heavy drinker. I have not met a person who smokes a lot but a non-drinker. Both of this goes well together with playing cards with friends at home.
345  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why did 95% of traders fail and lose money? on: October 31, 2019, 11:45:18 PM
I am not an expert trader and I myself lose money in trading and one reason why I lose money is when we follow our instinct instead of coming up with a reason why I will Hold, Sell or Buy. Results could have been different if we only follow or use TA instead of personal feeling or even FOMO.

Another reason why we fail in trading is not coming up with a plan. No plans means you are planning to fail. Plan when you place a Buy or Sell order and stick to the plan. If you say you will Sell at $9,200 then place a Sell order and move on. Sometimes thats the reason why we fall on a trap holding an expensive coin because we did not let go when it reached your target.
346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Brave Browser Crypto Rewards Program on: October 31, 2019, 11:31:37 PM
To those who use Brave browser let me ask if you can earn BAT token while browsing here on the forum?
Because I mostly browse here on the forum than the other website. Do you think it is a good idea to switch in brave browser if you only browsing here on the forum? Or you need to browse to other website like youtube to be able to earn BAT token?

I am using Brave browser on my smartphone and laptop and so far I only earned less than 10 BAT. I am a researcher, so I am jumping from 1 site to another but earnings from browsing is very low. I guess for us to earn more is through referring more new users than browsing sites.

Is there any particular site that we can visit and earn BAT?
If someone posted that got 10 BAT at this xxx site, can we also visit the same site and earn BAT?
347  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Sportsbook with Instant withdraw and No KYC? on: October 31, 2019, 11:23:27 PM
I’ve been using Nitrogensports for quite sometime now and I did not experience any problem with withdrawing my funds. I read somewhere that stake.com has recently launched or planning to launch their sports book. I also used Betcoin.ag before and I did not encounter any problem with withdrawing funds, but their reputation lately is low.
348  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: October 31, 2019, 11:10:35 PM
Heavyweight:  Derrick Lewis vs Blagoy Ivanov - this is going to be interesting to watch. As I remember, Ivanov the only one who beat Fedor Emelianenko in combat sambo championship at the time when Fedor was in best shape.

Derrick Lewis is just getting back from several surgeries, back and knee injury, so we are going to see him healthy after long time.
If they go to stand up fight, I think Lewis will win here.

PS
Is there any other Thread for other MMA competition (Bellator, KSW, PFL) tips ?
Theres no other thread for other MMA promotions like Bellator, KSW, PFL or One FC. I guess the interest on their events are not that big in this forum to begin or start a thread for those promotions. But, I think its a good idea if the OP will just edit the thread title and remove UFC and just say MMA events or anything something like that so that we dont need to switch to another thread.
349  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betller.io - P2P Betting on Bitcoin price movement on: October 31, 2019, 11:01:27 PM
Congratulations to your new site. If you plan to further promote you new site, try hiring the services of yahoo62278 and he can run a signature campaign for you. Try to visit his thread and see how he can help you launch your site https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1704638.0

Your site reminds me of secondstrade that used to be popular here but I hope you dont go to the same direction where secondstrade ended up.

351  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading by follow signals. Is it good? on: October 31, 2019, 10:43:01 PM
I am not a big fan of those signal groups. They are not even suppose to exist to begin with. When you trade, it should be based on how feel and know about the coin and not because someone told you that this shit coin will be pumped by a certain group so start buying. The price of a coin should go up and down based on market reaction or market condition.

Another sad thing about this groups is the owners of the group are the only ones who will earn a decent amount of money here, specially if they are asking for a monthly or a lifetime fee to their subscribers. How this groups will stop? Dont subscribe, dont entertain the idea. Just learn by yourself how to trade properly.
352  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Living Off-Grid With Bitcoin? on: October 31, 2019, 10:25:48 PM
Off grid, you plan to make your own electricity? Solar? Creating electricity using solar panels is expensive, thats a big investment to start with. But if thats what you mean about off grid then you need a lot of money to start with your plan.

Living only with Bitcoins is possible. There are bloggers out there who posted their travels and experiences on how they were able to pull it. I would say it depends on where you live because there are still countries were Bitcoin is not yet mainstream and only a handful of merchants accepts it.
353  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to start: Daytrading? on: October 30, 2019, 11:13:26 PM
Top 3 things to look after?
Are tools recommended?
Thank you!
Tools are always required, you shouod use all the tools the know of to help you decide if you can Sell Or Buy. But the most important is time, if you dont have a lot of time to spend to monitor the price movement of the coin that you bought, then day trading is not for you. In day trading you need to monitor the price.
354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [What IF] Part 3 on: October 30, 2019, 10:42:34 PM
I would return it to the the site only if the site owners can prove to me with proof that is beyond reasonable doubt that it was a mistake on their part and I am not suppose to win that bet. Site support can claim that its a mistake but they should convince me first and if ever I return it, whats in it for me? They will get their funds back but what about the trouble of sending it to me and also making me believe that I won something.
355  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Holiday Season Card with QR code on: October 30, 2019, 06:54:33 AM
After some thoughts, looks like its going to be more technical. Cant find a simple way on how to give Bitcoins to someone with zero knowledge in Bitcoin. I was thinking of just giving away an online wallet like Blockchain, complete with username and password. All the receiver needs to do is log-in using the provided wallet id written on the card and the password. BTC Address is funded.

I thought giving a QR code to someone with zero knowledge to crypto is like giving complex mathematical equation to a 3rd grade. Once they receive, they might stare at it for a long time and throw it away.
356  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] Bittrex - Next generation exchange (btc/ltc/eac/ppc/rdd/ftc/and more) on: October 30, 2019, 06:13:05 AM
Okay, so now it's time for Bittrex International to close and get replaced by a new global version of Bittrex?

Crypto exchange Bittrex to launch new Liechtenstein-based trading platform, close Bittrex International

https://tokenpost.com/Crypto-exchange-Bittrex-to-launch-new-Liechtenstein-based-trading-platform-close-Bittrex-International-3929
I don't think there will be some major changes aside from the address where the business of Bittrex is located or head quartered. Bittrex International is based in Malta while Bittrex Global will be based in Liechtenstein. Literally Bittrex needs to close their business since they are moving to another country, so headline is correct in someway. To those who doesn't know where Liechtenstein is located, its principality between Austria and Switzerland.
357  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling domain name: dailycashpool.com on: October 30, 2019, 05:53:51 AM
Godaddy appraised this domain at $764 USD. According to the site, the word cash and the daily is one of the high value word in a domain but depends on what market, in a crypto related market, the word cash is not relevant and and word daily sounds so scammy so more likely you are holding a domain that will be yours to keep. Good luck!

358  Economy / Economics / Re: Your Source of Investment Money? on: October 29, 2019, 11:59:42 PM
Portion is my my weekly earnings from signature campaigns and some coming from my day job. There are times I sell some of my old or used items like smartphones which I change every year, laptop and other electronic gadgets and proceeds from that will be my additional capital for my trading funds.
359  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Holiday Season Card with QR code on: October 29, 2019, 01:32:17 AM
There's quite a lot of scam potential here, not implying that you are a scammer, but that if your app does ever make it big, you can bet that there are going to be making apps similar to yours, or even impersonating your APP and then sending our wrong QR payments/addresses that instantly redirect to their own personal address.

It definitely sounds festive and right in the spirit for the holidays, but unfortunately, there are terrible people out in the world and QR codes just end up becoming scams when you see the number of fake QR scanners out on the play store nowadays.

Its not an app, its just a greeting card and a QR code is printed there that they can scan. Its just an idea, I don't have any knowledge of how to build or create an app. Maybe I'll use an existing platform and use their services for this idea. Probably the downside there is they need to download that app, app that is not mine or i'm not related to the owners.

Just imagine those physical Bitcoins that are being sold in the Collectibles section, some of those that are being sold are funded.
360  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Holiday Season Card with QR code on: October 28, 2019, 11:57:35 PM
Holiday season is just around the corner and I am planning to come up with my own design of card with holiday seasons message and a QR code that they can scan and get Bitcoins as a gift. Its not limited to Holiday seasons only, it maybe used for special occasion too like birthday and weddings. Its a simple way to promote Bitcoin and increase awareness. What do you think guys?
