you can check your myetherwallet by using your private key and logging in your address, however that's definitely not the recommended option. The easiest way is to use etherscan to see your balance. In case you decided to go through mew anyway for the peace of your mind, then just check your balance using your public key instead of logging in and add custom token. Hope it helps.

Very likely so! And there will be new currencies overtaking Ethereum very soon. It's about the value provided. value from btc is lower than what eth is offering currently. However I notice new more functional protocols arising every day, which is very exciting. I like to see so many good new projects like NEO!

hmmm... doesn't seem to have gone that smoothly. I thought that Coinomi would have had it added since I moved some of my test BTC there to see how well it would work. Is there any proof of work that this coin can actually do the atomic swaps yet? It seems like everyone is waiting to see what is going to happen.
Coinomi are waiting for code release as they tweeted. Once that is done, they will implement it. AS should be released in March based on what I saw on atom website so then the party can begin |

They already tweeted about it so It should come in the upcoming days. This shouldn't affect your judgement though, just because Coinomi is supporting them, doesn't mean the project is legit. you're right, but it's a good hint they should be legit. Anwyay I expect source to be published tomorrow or day after tomorrow, then we should be clear on how genuine the team is. potential is there but we need to see something delivered |

Also you guys really need to come out with new names. There's already something out called "ATOM" so that just creates more confusion. Maybe "next time" BTC Emerald or BTC Ruby or BTC Hematite or BTC Ragnorok or BTC "MY Precious". lol
What I don't understand is how can this be "pre-mined" if the fork happened today?

Ive met some group of financial adviser, they told me that the best way to aquire bitcoin is through cloud mining, they gave me names of trusted cloud mining providers and as of my research, they are well known and trusted.
Then ive met some people, whos already earning big bucks on bitcoin, they dont recommend cloud mining. They told me that its expensive and risky, but as for my understanding its good way of gaining passive income.
What are the possible reason on thier contradiction?
Whos recommendation should i try and why?
Cloud mining companies are usually ponzi schemes for simple reason. If they really have equipment, they can simply mine on their own, why would they let you earn? |
