Greece or some other sovereign nation is adopting Bitcoin as legal tender. Bitcoin will trade on FOREX.
I bet the Royal Canadian Mint is going to adopt the Bitcoin model for it's e-cash proposal. That is actually not impossible, albeit not probable. And if so, woooh!  |

Now, no matter what you put for a new password, claim page comes back with The new password is not secure enough. Security tips include using special characters, make the password longer, etc... I cant even get passed the first page You need a better password! I used some special characters in mine and it was pretty long... now I think I have forgotten it though! Doooh.  |

Salts should include something unique for the site! Im not sure this is the case here, it would alleviate the problem with re-using password-hashes between many sites.

A rollback clearly does not restore prices, and it should not. There really isn't a "price" in a market like this, there is just the last trade, and there wont be any recent trades when they open.

I suspect you will find that with any substantial amount of coins, it will be much harder to get the same old, good, profit. You will have to take worse deals if you really want to move larger sums.

It would only take a single interested party to maintain the connection between the two halves, and it would only be a trickle of data. I doubt that even China could prevent it.
If there were only one party linking the web in China to the web everywhere else, it would be way too expensive or congested for bitcoin to use. If it were open to general use it would probably get DDOSed and go down. So send USB sticks with the latest block every now and then |

I had this idea about not removing brute-forcing but optimizing the algorithm since not all output bits are needed, so we backtrack and remove all superfluous calculations. But if its 64 rounds per hash and two hashes, I think the gain would be extremely small. And also maybe this optimization has already been done?
