beautiful ken!
one little pic does so much towards boosting my confidence
now get us trading on CT so we can take advantage of this boost! (and the more to come I will assume)
thanks mate and merry merry

and kudos for banning the trolls and FUDsters
I'm shakey enough without those clowns putting bugs in my ear!

Not to be a wet blanket, but you were shown a picture of empty cases (which were already in the summer photos) and 3 empty workbenches (at least one of them was in the summer photos), and you think the trolls are your enemies?  Dude, my basement workshop has more bench space and ... actual gear and tools and stuff.  To call that an assembly line without cracking up takes balls.

Really? Two work stations per bench means they can drop cards in from 6 different areas, fire 'em up for a spot check and then send them down to burn-in with pretty good efficiency. You have to understand that VMC is getting the last string of orders. Once all the other queues for the top-end miners are full that's when VMC gets its customers. It will not be an industry leader with its current tech, but it will be an industry player. This assembly area should be more than adequate to get the volume in queue built, tested, and out the door in a short time frame.

The picture isn't ground-breaking, you are correct. It does show development and prep for the high volume of chips/boards. That's the net worth of this shot.

I'm sorry, but other than two extra workbenches and two fans, there's nothing in the picture that you haven't already seen.  The cases still have drive racks/trays in them.  There are no tools or signs of other equipment anywhere.  Well, sorry, there's the shop cart.
"Not groundbreaking" is a pretty polite way of putting it.  And I'm not joking or exaggerating when I say I have more bench space in my basement workshop.

hmmmm a troll post from an account opened two days ago . . . . I wonder who this could be. You have been reported to the mods - Goodbye

ActM should partner with CloudHashing....

Benefit for CloudHashing - well, they are currently buying expensive gear from others
Benefit for ActM - CloudHashing would provide revenue for massive expansion.

It's a very interesting idea if you think about it. ActM could provide hardware an a JV basis to CloudHashing, the instant return nature of CloudHashing (ie. people pay up-front) would mean the flow of cash back into ActM hardware would be phenomenal... Even at only 10% markup to CloudHashing no hardware costs it would be a super sexy cashflow cycle.

That, or ActM should rent out its own hashing power independently (possibly a better, although more complex, solution)

Actually, ActM should just offer cloud hashing.

Actually they should just build every miner for themselves to maximise profit, unfortunately we have already sold some machines to customers. There is no more +EV option than building all miners for use by active mining unless we charge a figure for cloud hashing that would mean no ROI for customers.

+1 to number 4, each machine should come in mine for two weeks and then go towards the main hash rate.

Can you give us an estimation about when the rest of our funds will be available?

+1 should we check this thread daily/monthly/yearly?

Meanwhile in Picostock world...

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=140366.msg4011421#msg4011421

They hit the 1GH/s per share...

Last time i check we are still at ~ 200 MH/s per bonds...less than an USB ASICminer...

Would be good to have an ETA on the next shipment...

Will likely be in January when BFL delivers their first batch of Monarchs

So March then

Dividend will be posted today. Yesterday I was away from the computer all day and in business meetings.

Ok thanks Ascension any update on the progress with the other items mentioned in your previous update? Are you going to meet the deadlines you stated?

Refreshed a few times and got it to work. Small percentage of total funds but glad to see we are moving in the right direction.

Considering what they yielded today and a guesstimate of the past 2 previous weeks, i guess the total was over 200 bitcoins, about 170-180k cash, with the knc 3th going for 13k, thats about 41 th if you were to buy those, in this case he claims he had "put the right words that i dont recall" deal, so i guess its more?

He said the coins should by 'many many mnay multiples' of what we have right now so in my estimation that is at minimum 3x what we have but more likely 4x which would take us to 100Th.

The bigger question is when will that hardware get here if it's in the next week or so then great but if it's end of Jan then I think we are in trouble.

Mmmm, I love the smell of BitCoin in the morning......  Wink

Smells like bacon after awesome morning sex... with waffles... I mean waffles with the bacon... not the sex...

If your not having waffles with the sex, your doing it wrong.

Ken will probably have to do it manually rather than through the automated site but I doubt it will be too much of an issue to sort out. Ken has always been more than helpful when it comes to transferring peoples shares etc.

50% of zero is still zero

Still avoiding any response on chips or what was actually "shipped to customers"

Give it up pankkake or your gonna look like a fool in a few weeks time.

One of the best updates we have had so far. Incredible to hear we will be using AT LEAST 50% of manufacturing capabilities to make miners for us. Things are really starting to look up for Active Mining.

Great work Ken - a little bit of info goes a long way so thank you for these weekly updates.

Hey Guys,
i have a question concerning the  Share verification.
 following situation:

when i transferred my shares to AMC Tender  i signed my Bitfunder public adress already with all the required information ( like: with No. of shares, Username, Time of the transfer and bitfunder Public Adress)
(screenhots of the transfer itsself and of the Signed Message were taken)

I still have the Signed KEY (SIGNATURE?) (dont know how to call) which was given me after signing.

Now i lost the private Key to use my Desktop wallet.  Ist that a problem or am i still able to proof the ownership of my shares?

Thanks in advance

cheers

No problem, as long as you can still sign with the address you used on Bitfunder, Ken will likely give us an exact message that will need to be copy and pasted into your wallet client and a new signed message generated and used to verify shares.
