342  Economy / Gambling / [Ice-Dice.com] Free 0.005BTC Promotion for New Accounts! on: October 14, 2013, 09:37:35 AM
Ok for those of you that wants to try the site out, here is your chance to try it out risk free.

You can get 0.01BTC 0.001BTC 0.005BTC to play (Unfortunately we had to lower this because few people took advantage of us with multiple twitter accounts ruining it for everyone else).

Simply go to:
https://ice-dice.com
and follow the instruction to redeem your free coins.

I just coded up this feature so please report back if there are any bugs.

This is available to new accounts only, and if you receive promo bitcoins you can't withdraw the bitcoins without reaching minimum wager.

PS. Please don't unfollow me after you get your free coins. It's not good for karma.

Update (4 hours after promo started):
Congratulations to the following users who made the minimum wager requirement with their 0.01 free BTC and already withdraw their winnings successfully. Almost 1BTC was paid out to these players who played only with the free promo coins with many more are still playing!

343  Economy / Gambling / Re: Nakowa took down Ice-Dice profit by almost 2% today on: October 14, 2013, 06:06:56 AM
Even though 2% profit is only like 2BTC in winnings, it's still a large percentage for a small site like us.

Even though 2% profit is only like 2BTC in winnings

2BTC in winnings

2btc? why does this need its own thread? sounds like your trying to pimp your site to me.

well it's a lot for us, we are small time player. our bankroll is only 118BTC, scale it to just-dice size it'll be like winning almost 1000BTC.
344  Economy / Gambling / Nakowa took down Ice-Dice profit by almost 2% today on: October 14, 2013, 06:02:34 AM
A player named himself Naokwa with relatively large bankroll (for Ice-dice standard) had been using our new build in martingale bot and managed to take down our profit by almost 2% today. Not sure if he is the same Nakowa at JD or not but it's interesting to watch him play. Even though 2% profit is only like 2BTC in winnings, it's still a large percentage for a small site like us.
345  Economy / Gambling / Re: Question for site operators: How do you deal with trolls? on: October 13, 2013, 10:29:09 AM

346  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Ice-Dice.com] Beautifully Designed | 1% Referral Bonus | Invest or Play on: October 13, 2013, 05:54:17 AM
Definitely looks better on my phone than on my laptop.

the site was designed for mobile first, then users requested to make it work for desktop. However, I will be working on the desktop version to optimize it further in the future.

payout not working again why does this keep happening?..8 hours later i'm still waiting!!!!  Embarrassed

Just gonna repeat what I said in the other thread so others don't think I'm not paying out.

提几个建议:推广奖金能不能做成实时的?另外,能不能加上股票,也实时分红?btc-dice.com的股票感觉不错,反正都是吸引资金。

我看了他们的股票分红计划, 我蛮喜欢。 我会开始开发这个系统。
350  Economy / Services / Re: looking for webdeveloper for a bitcoin game website script on: October 12, 2013, 09:51:11 AM
building a good dice site isn't as easy as it seems. ice-dice took me hundreds of hours to develop and it's no where near ready! If you don't get your dice site done right you are just going to end up losing money.

You have a nice and clean website. I am looking for a simple website with a simple game for now. I dont think it would take hundreds of hours to do it. and if some one did already one I am sure he can do it in less hours. just my 2 cents. I am to new to bitcoin casino games and wouldnt touch the dice game You or just-dice.are offering.
it looks that You are not long online if the numbers in the scrolling tab are right. what is Your house edge? also 1%? do You have min and max bets? maybe I missed it on Your website.

haha well I'm not selling the code base for my site, you are welcome to invest in the bank though. Your questions are answered in the FAQ area. I only replied to your thread to give you a heads up that bitcoin casinos are not easy to build.

353  Economy / Securities / Can someone walk me through IPO process? on: October 12, 2013, 08:41:44 AM
https://Ice-dice.com is considering offering an IPO to raise some fund for the bankroll and hire some marketing to grow the site. The site launched 3 weeks ago and it's been growing steadily with good feedbacks from both users and investors. Now we are thinking of taking it to the next step and doing an IPO. I'm not familiar with the way bitcoin companies IPO, can someone send me some info on how it's done?

Some of my questions are:
- How do we issue shares to sell?
- How do we keep track of who has how many shares?
- How do we pay dividends?
- How do we buy back shares?
- How do we list on bitcoin stock exchanges?
- What is a good bitcoin stock exchange?
- What are some of the pros and cons of IPO and selling shares?
354  Economy / Gambling / Re: Question for site operators: How do you deal with trolls? on: October 12, 2013, 08:31:54 AM
Like the others said, you shouldn't have given him any BTC past the initial promo. Don't worry so much about the forum complaining. If he says that you don't pay out you can show your payout history, the correspondence with the troll as proof, etc. These guys are pretty common, players know how to spot their BS. Just keep working on your reputation and consider this a lesson learned  Smiley

Good point! Thanks.
355  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Ice-Dice.com] Launches Build In Martingale Betting Bot! on: October 12, 2013, 08:29:28 AM
When is something expected ?

Sorry? I don't understand your question.
356  Economy / Gambling / Re: Question for site operators: How do you deal with trolls? on: October 11, 2013, 07:23:38 AM
So when I first launched the site I gave this guy 0.01 coins to play. After he asked for some more and I gave him 0.01 again. However, I think he thought I was too much of a push over and decided to bug me and ask for free money all the time now. I refused and he wouldn't stop and now he is spreading false rumours about how i don't "pay out" because he is not getting free money. I don't want him to keep talking crap about my site but I don't want to keep paying him free money either.

Anyone else running gambling site have similar experience? How did you guys deal with this?

update: now he is threatening to DDOS...

IP ban.. rinse and repeat when he comes back.. or mute that bastard.. If you have a decent server most script kiddies will not be able to DDOS you.

Best regards,

Kyle.T

That doesn't solve the problem of him talking crap on forums.

Ok I just payed him another 0.013 as he said thats all he asked and he'll leave me alone. I hope he keep his words.

Wow... He will just keep coming back, like a pigeon attracted to bread crumbs. Cant you do an IP Ban or delete his account?

All the best with dealing with this guy Undecided

Yeah thats what I'll have to do if he comes back.

DUDE!  You are a sucker!  He knows that, and he is going to come back and ask you for more, because he knows you will pay!   Undecided

Let him DDOS your site if he can.  It will cost him more money that it costs you, even if he has the ability.

Just ignore him and understand that if you shrink to his level and start calling him names, etc, that it will hurt your business and he will win.

yeah good call, I will make sure to ignore all trolls and beggars from now on.
359  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Ice-Dice.com] Launches Build In Martingale Betting Bot! on: October 11, 2013, 04:10:44 AM
How do you differ from primedice ?

Ice-dice seems to be more mobile friendly.

And player friendly! Could you go into statistical detail on your "provable gaming" ?

ice-dice was designed for mobile first, have multiple languages, currently english and chinese with german french spanish and russian coming and have a multi level referral program that pays more than any other dice sites.

What kind of statistical detail are you looking for?
360  Economy / Securities / Re: [Ice-Dice.com] 0% Investor Commission! | Multiple Languages | Invest or Play on: October 11, 2013, 12:21:35 AM
I'm not sure why he is trolling but no one had problem cashing out on ice dice.
All his posts are begging. I'm thinking it's yet another instance of the same troll (which you already have as ASICRUS). You are his new focus it seems. Bad luck...

Ok I gave in, he kept on begging and I just gave him another 0.013 (he said thats all he is asking), he said he'll promise to leave me alone after so I hope he keep his words.
