341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the best telegram channels for bounties ? on: December 26, 2019, 07:20:33 PM
As long as bounty campaigns are concerned, I do the ones here and ensure to check various independent reviews and opinion on the ann thread, I hate to work shitty project with my time and energy. I am not saying good bounties can't be found elsewhere, maybe I love to play safe.

343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why every IEO on P2PB2B exchange? on: December 07, 2019, 12:43:49 PM
P2PB2B exchange is majorly after the money the team pays for conducting the IEO on their platform and never cares about the success of the project or the integrity of the project team. This is why I am weary of IEO, many just fail and keeps failing, it appears the team is just after the money and money alone.
344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Consider All Altcoins Bad on: December 07, 2019, 12:00:53 PM
I have never read any post that says all altcoins are a scam. Just that some bitcoinist are just angry at the rate different altcoins hit the market for the selfish reason and for personal gain, sadly most of these projects gradually die a raid death because they have no idea on innovation, only were interested in customers fund. I have always wonder why won't ICO team up with already existing projects and better the ecosystem! instead, od launching what may never stand the test of time.
345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's the most complicated thing about Bitcoin? on: December 07, 2019, 11:52:38 AM
One of the most complicated things about bitcoin is losing one's private keys or passphrase, and never remember the password, or when the phone is misplaced and the passphrase is never able to be retrieved, not even wallet ID, this can be very crazy and hope dashing for any user of such category.
346  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the faith of Scammers if bitcoin later becomes a traceable Currency. on: December 06, 2019, 10:49:15 AM
Viewing bitcoin transactions on the explorer will review that bitcoin transactions can be traced to a final destination as it's been moved from wallet to wallet without been tempered with another technology or encryption. Most times people don't really want to trace it because hackers most times will never deposit the bitcoin on an exchange that has their KYC, which could easily lead to accurate tracing and blocking their transactions with enough evidence of course.
347  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Is the hardware wallet really safe? on: December 06, 2019, 10:41:40 AM

Yes, if you don't want to spend to buy a hardware you can try cold wallet like Electrum wallet you can install Electrum on Android mobile and keep it offline as your hardware wallet if you want to make a transaction you need to make a raw and sign transaction with your Electrum cold wallet and then broadcast it to any broadcasting sites.

This is interesting, so I can store my bitcoin on my android phone using the electrum cold wallet without having to buy any hardware wallet. I am just thinking about how safe this will be! With your explanation. I just need to disconnect the phone from the internet to making it a true cold storage.
348  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Satoshi steal other people's ideas for Bitcoin and one reason why he left? on: December 06, 2019, 10:36:06 AM
I don't think stealing their ideas is the reason he chose to stay anonymous, besides someone said he reference some of them on the whitepaper. He has actually created something more envisaged by them all, I think a major opposition from the government could have been the reason for his disappearance.
349  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will be Gift of Santa Claus in this Christmas for Bitcoin Hodlers? on: December 05, 2019, 02:13:30 PM
It seems you have not been religiously following bitcoin because there was a time the price was $3,600 this year and would later hit $13,500 this year. This was massive, we can't agree that those who bought low have made huge money and are still smiling at what a circular job couldn't afford.
350  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Were there attempts to create a thing like Bitcoin before Satoshi Nakamoto? on: December 05, 2019, 02:10:19 PM
There have been several attempts but their currency was never really decentralized as couldn't solve the byzantine general problem, so they quickly fade away. Bitcoin is the first decentralized currency that runs on the blockchain. Bitcoin is beyond government control and any body's control.
351  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin being held down by CME, BAKKT? on: December 05, 2019, 02:04:14 PM
I saw a news flash that the BaKKT is taking people's bitcoin and giving them USD, while they keep accumulating bitcoin at a lower rate and giving people a dead dollar. I remember many people were happy when bakkt wanted to launch, today I doubt they are still excited.
352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Question about vindax on: December 04, 2019, 07:18:00 PM
I have heard several complain that Vindax is a more of a fake volume exchange. We do always joke about how Vindax does fake volumes in my group. Just list any known IEO that got conducted on Vindax and got listed on the same Vindax that ever did well!
353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coin backed by multiple assets on: December 04, 2019, 07:15:18 PM
There are some projects that claim to be backed by gold, we can't conclude them so until they are made to test the wave of the market. Platincoin claims to backed by many things it will fail.
354  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Did Satoshi Nakamoto Choose 21M as Bitcoin’s Maximum Supply? on: December 04, 2019, 06:19:55 AM
Considering the population of the world, I feel the finite supply of bitcoin should have been somewhere around 500M or 1B BTC, this could have still been expensive and have a huge demand without any rival. Well, he was a genius and has his own reason best know to him. As long as it has a definite supply, then it's okay.

Twitter chief Jack Dorsey announces plans to move to Africa
Thanks for the quick update. My inquisitiveness is why is Jockey moving to stay in Africa? I thought he would have better security in the States? Maybe the tax in the States is much. It's also good if he can develop Africa youth technologically, I will gladly enroll in his school.
356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $1 billion XRP unlocked from its escrow wallet by Ripple on: December 03, 2019, 12:47:38 PM
They want to dilute the market further and ensure the team make more money. I just hope investors are not turned to holders club. The reason I hate these coins that team have in their vault, one can never know when they will release it to the market.
357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 10.000 Euro longterm (2-3 years) - in what 2 altcoins should i invest? on: December 03, 2019, 12:38:04 PM
I will advise you put this in bitcoin, over time, bitcoin has proven to be more stable and always coming back from the dip and at a good value. I have dived into many alts in the past and recently, but bitcoin has no equal.
358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PLATINCOIN REVIEW! YOUR THOUGHT? on: November 30, 2019, 10:07:42 AM
Since you have find out that its built on MLM pattern why still stressing yourself? You even said the CEO once involved in scam project called swisscoin so why still doubting yourself? i believe the reason why i never get scammed is i seek for answers, once a project is tagged scam i instantly move on

You should learn to read to understand and when you don't have any meaningful thing to contribute, you should better never reply to a serious post. This is investigative journalism, don't just post because you want to complete a signature campaign.  I said I read about the CEO, so you are authoritatively saying I said the CEO is a scammer, just learn to do a better job.
359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / PLATINCOIN ANOTHER BITCONNECT? on: November 30, 2019, 08:29:09 AM
Hello guys,

I offer people in my office how to buy and sell bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. I decided to combine it with my bible bookshop for people to be acquainted with the working principles of bitcoin and the ongoing financial revolution.
Some of them that wanted to more about bitcoin keep coming up with PLATINCOIN and with so much hope that it will make them rich and most likely dethrone the bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. I have been telling them that this Plantincoin is built like an MLM in its model and that it was going to fail, they feel I am been myopic in my view.

Before now, I never even knew anything like plantincoin does exist, but with the rate at which people are holding seminars after seminars in my city, I have been forced to bring it here for an expert review, opinion, and input. I had brought up this same coin for commentaries in Nigeria's SIBAN group ( a cryptocurrency body in Nigeria), but no one ever responded, maybe they are not interested in the talk.

Why I believe this will fail is this: It's built-in MLM pattern, it has some referral bonus, and there are levels of premium package program investment. I read that the CEO Alex had been involved in a scam coin called Swisscoin before launching this Platincoin. The way they are indoctrinating their investors that it will beat bitcoin in 2-3years off the market and that it's backed bu something but bitcoin is backed by nothing. I am scared this will be worst than bitconnect, and I just hope investors won't take to suicide when their investment finally fails.

Guys, I want to schedule a time to attend one of the meetings of Platincoin in my city, and disproof the leaders in other to save investors of future loss, but first I need your input and reviews, if possible, let's take down this scam.

It's on coinmarketcap https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/platincoin/ and coingecko https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/platincoin?utm_content=platincoin&utm_medium=search_coin&utm_source=coingecko

Your constructive and well-researched responses will be appreciated.
360  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: French National TV Starts Advertising Bitcoin on: November 30, 2019, 07:19:43 AM
Good move by the French TV. It's important they promote bitcoin, because we have too many bad promoters of cryptocurrency promoting some Ponzi coins and promising it will dethrone the bitcoin. Now that the mainstream media is doing a good job, it will help guide investors on the right digital gold to invest which is bitcoin and not any other scam or dealy shit. I will be attending a Seminar in Nigeria to stop a promoter from selling scam to the gullible.
