341  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [FS] 2x HIS Radeon 7950 IceQ on: May 06, 2014, 01:38:44 PM
Just a suggestion, I have been buying 7950's for the past couple of weeks for around $150 US shipped off of Ebay. Without the 10% fees and shipping cost that comes out to around $122 US.

pics or shens

PM me like ive said before on this thread.  Its not difficult to click send on a private message instead of bitching on a board.

It is customary on this board to post the pics in the thread with your username and the date. Especially for new people with no trust rating.

If you look through you will see it on several threads.

Package received and tested. Works great!

Positive trust left.

Thanks!
344  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Should I try to sell my Lancelot FPGA? on: April 25, 2014, 07:42:39 PM
$350 USD plus shipping for 1.6 GH/s.  Wow, that is aggressive!   Shocked

Good luck with that sale.  Guessing, whoever buys it, will be for the nostalgia factor, or a bookshelf conversation piece.

Yea, you can pick up a 2.2GH ant for like $50?

Might have more interest if you were willing to part it out?

Now that it is in the correct section you need to do a couple of things.

Pictures showing the items with a piece of paper that has your user name and the date written on it.

How about some prices?

I'll come back to all of you asap, no worries.
Time isn't being my friend these days Tongue

I bought from someone else.
350  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 8x Gigabyte Radeon R9 280X’s on: April 22, 2014, 09:44:17 PM
Buyer beware, seller ended communication when I mentioned escrow.

That's pretty concerning, especially since the OP has a relatively larger activity score. Talk about the long con Tongue

I'm is not a con.... i personally don't want to trust a escrow with this amount.   You pushed paypal/escrow I wanted to see if i could get upfront because of bitcoin industry.  I realize this might add time to sell them but for my protection I'm willing to wait.

And I ended communication because you are a pushy buyer.  I have many good buy's on here... never scammed never will.  Go troll elsewhere.

I'm not in a hurry or low on cash they are mining away working perfect and have almost 2 years and 7 months warranty left.   Willing to include original invoice with sale if you would like.

Again if anyone is interested in all let me know would prefer Bitcoin paid before that is what I'm looking for right now.

You may have had many good buys on here but your trust rating only shows 1.

Escrow is always recommended with someone that has a low trust rating. There are several good escrow people on this site who you should not worry about using as they have had hundreds of transactions being an escrow.
ogNasty and dannyhamilton are a couple of them.

If anyone is trading with Forcecast, please say so in this thread instead of keeping it to PM. I have suspicions, but nothing concrete. If Forcecast and I go forward with a trade, I will update my progress with it in this thread.
Hello
I did not get any respond from the seller yet.
What suspicions you got ?
Scam ?

I've been waiting on a reply about shipping time as well. Was working a deal for the MB and CPU.
353  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 3.55mh/s scrypt rig (5x 280x) on: April 22, 2014, 01:41:33 PM
Yeah. I'm in the same boat- can't sell a 3.5 mh/s rig for $1500 when it's only making $5-$6 a day.  Sad

That is exactly why no one is buying it my friend. A 300 day return of investment is unacceptable in this business  Sad

IMHO GPU rigs are better sold for what they are: videogame graphic cards. If you attempt to sell them as rigs you have market @ around 200-300$.

Yep. Your best bet is to try to sell it with 1 video card in it as a regular system and sell the rest individually or part the whole thing out.

He stopped replying to my PMs.  I could understand if he just doesn't want to do business but it was also after I mentioned escrow.  No tracking number yet, Ntrain2k?   Huh

Nope, no tracking number.

He told me in a PM he was willing to send 1st or use escrow. Chose to send 1st.
356  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] ASUS Radeon R9 280X II OC + Z87-G45 Gaming & 990FXA-UD3 Mobos on: April 20, 2014, 12:43:51 AM
USD 180 for 280x? Doesn't look legit but who knows  Huh

That and his newness to the forum with no trust. This was the reason for me requiring him to send 1st and I pay once received and tested.
357  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] ASUS Radeon R9 280X II OC + Z87-G45 Gaming & 990FXA-UD3 Mobos on: April 20, 2014, 12:39:37 AM
Deal pending on 990FXA-UD3.

Waiting on OP to let me know if we will use an escrow or he will send 1st.

xv11 and I have made a deal on the Gigabyte 990FAX-UD3 mb.

Since he is new here he is shipping it to me 1st.

Once I receive it and it tests good I will send him the BTC and leave him positive trust and post in this thread to show he is legit.

Due to the lack of providing tracking info despite several requests I suggest anyone else that wants to do a deal with xv11 either have him send 1st or go through an escrow.

I hope the deal still stands, but unfortunately I do not have high expectations at this time.

Sorry if I caused this mate, just fed up with everyone being called a scammer Sad

"Pics or its a scam"

"pics with username or its a scam"

"oh that pic has no date its a scam"

Some people need to get a life and do their due diligence before calling EVERYONE a scammer Wink

Now, asking for pictures with a user name and date is common practice on here as well as many forums, especially for new users.

Now calling it a scam off the bat is uncalled for.
