Been waiting for a project like this, I always wanted to make videos but I also wanted it to be worth my while.
And since YouTube is making it harder for beginners,this seems like a perfect opportunity. Not only for beginners, for everyone, the new policies and all those extra steps you have to take... we'll have to see what happens when Current goes big - I'm kind of hoping that some good channels will opt for this. Yes, the profit distribution should become more fair with Current economy for streaming channels. |

This thread is big, but as I was going through it I can see that dev team is really engaged in communication with forum members and that's a pretty good reassurance to me.

I'd say video enthusiasts or artists. Especially if it'll make the video go an extra level Oh definitely, but I think that the majority of consumers could be amateurs that want to put their vacation videos for example, just like in the opening video. But will you be able to put the interactive part if absolutely any video,or there will be some requirements? I don't see why would there be some restrictions regarding video. There will allways be the ways to cheat or fake stuff,its impossible to stop it.You can make it harder for scammers for sure,but nothing is 100% effective.

It will be interesting to see how the creator-consumer relationship in media-streaming changes. For example fan bases will be crated not only by the content itself, but also by profitability.
