341  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: September 02, 2017, 03:02:28 PM
Barcelona are in decline, their great era is coming to an end. Most of their best players are getting old. I don't think Barca will be 1st or 2nd in La Liga this season.

I have bet on that outcome.  Smiley

1. Real, 2, Atletico - 26 odds. And: 1. Real, 2. Sevilla - 151 odds.

how to start staking deeponion coins ??
thanks in advance
Would you please read the staking guide here: https://deeponion.org/community/threads/deeponion-wallet-staking-tutorial.31/
In addition to staking effectively then I recommend having at least 50 onions in your wallet.

If you can't have your pc online all the time it is proably smart to consolidated the coins in bigger blocks to improve the odds of finding a block.
343  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: August 30, 2017, 06:42:09 PM
Aubameyang at Dortmund has a release clause of about 72 million pounds. If Real want a striker then he should be their man.
But the Real Madrid president and the boss of Galacticos already decided to terminate their transfer mission. they are putting their faith still on the Karim Benzema which will suffer during this season so far I can guess. but if Ronaldo will play all the season with a good physical shape so that striker will not be needed to win any trophy.

I hoped they would sell Benzema this summer. I would rather kept Morata then Benzema. But it probably don't matter considering the overall strength of the team.
I am sure they are going to offload him next summer, but the question remains who are they going to replace him with, Mbappe without a doubt is going to be a PSG player and that leaves very few strikers available, maybe they will sign Harry Kane because am sure it's gotta be very frustrating for him not winning any trophies.

Harry Kane would be cool. I really hope that happens! And I would also like to see Hazard next season. Maybe Ronaldo can play as a striker next season.
344  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex: Still safe ? on: August 30, 2017, 06:32:32 PM
No exchange is a safe place to store your coins. Always withdraw everything you don't need for trading. And 2FA is mandatory. Poloniex is a reputable exchange.

Regarding Over-Rake Refunds
The investigation into over-raked pots has been completed. We are now loading the data to run a payout script. We expect this process to take up to 36 hours to complete. Once paid out, players will notice a transaction with type "Refund" in the cashier screen. Players will also be credited an equal amount of Bitcoin Cash, which can be claimed in the same manner as our BCH distribution process, by emailing bch@swcpoker.eu and following the instructions.

Regarding Bitcoin Cash
Bitcoin Cash claims continue to be processed regularly. If you had a balance at SwC Poker on August 1st, you may email bch@swcpoker.eu to claim your BCH. This regular processing will continue until at least the end of 2017.

Regarding Client Development
After the refund process completes, we will shift focus back to developing our new client software. This new software will eliminate many of the issues experienced by players today. The client will be developed to run on multiple platforms and will greatly improve player experience. We understand this has been a difficult time for SwC Poker, and we vow to improve the platform.

Thank you for playing at SwC Poker

The most important software is mobile support. That should really be prioritized.

kan man have bitcoins og eth tokens på ledger nano?

Tar deg 2 minutt å finne ut av det:

https://www.ledgerwallet.com/products/ledger-nano-s

Ledger Nano S supports Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum and altcoins: hold different assets in the same hardware wallet.
348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which of these coins has the most mid - long term potential on: August 28, 2017, 05:56:17 PM
I think you are better of just holding bitcoin for now, and wait for the huge crash that eventually will come, and buy when there is fear instead of euphoria.
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash to the moon? [UPDATED: Lost money I feel stupid] on: August 28, 2017, 05:51:50 PM
Bcash is really just a pump and dump scam. It got zero real world applications. But it got a fair distribution and some crazy people are backing it. You will probably be able to sell back your bcashs higher later. But it might go down much lower before that happens.
350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero or LTC on: August 28, 2017, 05:47:36 PM
If you plan to hold on for a long time, definitely litecoin. I don't think monero is a very good long term investment.  There is a lot of competition among anon coins, and what happens when bitcoin and litecoin privacy improves?

Lol. Short term I got it really really wrong here... But I don't think the fundamentals have changed and would still pick litecoin over monero every day.  Smiley
351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: August 28, 2017, 05:31:12 PM
It is only possible to earn money in the long run in games where you have an mathematical advantage.

The easiest example is poker where you play against other humans who both "lay" and "bet" on unfavorable odds.

In sports you might have more knowledge then the market on some occasions and therefor have an mathemathically advantage. Most often that is not the case and specially on games in major leagues.

A good way to earn money betting sports is to take advantage of every possible promtion. It is easy to bet on sports with close to 100% roi. And every cent you make of the promotions is your revenue.

In games where you play against the house you are doomed to loose.
352  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can you determine whether you are addicted to gambling? on: August 28, 2017, 05:17:57 PM
Very few user himself realizes that they were addicted. Majority of the users who are on the way towards getting addicted knows their situation, but some holds control and stay within limits and avoid addiction while the rest just search alternative ways to win rather than the elements to get away from this.
Actually, I subscribe to your opinion. I think that your words have rational grain names in relation to the dependence on gambling. The fact is that a gambler never recognizes his dependence on gambling and, equivalently as a drug addict does not recognize his dependence on drugs.

I also found this description quite accurate and in line with my own experience and observations. But i wonder, can you stay in control for years but suddenly become an addict?
353  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you see trading as fun and games? on: August 28, 2017, 04:39:59 PM
For me trading is really just one thing, gambling... It feels great to win, but more devastating to loose. I have huge respect for those who really master the psychological aspect of trading. I have more then ten years excperience playing poker, but trading is much more addictive and problematic for gamblers.
354  Local / Skandinavisk / Re: Tips på gode wallet løsninger. on: August 28, 2017, 04:21:59 PM
Et par eksempel:

Jaxx er en mulitcoin wallet med integrert shapeshift. App til alle plattformer.

Ledger wallet er en hardware wallet med flere coins.
355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: August 23, 2017, 09:46:51 AM
Are wallet adresses on exchanges usable for airdrops? Or do I need some other wallet?

Don't do that. History have shown us that every exchange eventually gets hacked. Unless you control the private keys, its not really your coins. It is a lot of job to sync multiple wallets, but it is worth it to reduce the risk of loosing everything.
356  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best source of news? on: August 23, 2017, 09:39:43 AM
Twitter is definitely my best source of news. The only problem is that is takes some time to find out who to follow. Some people seem sane, but are really completly crazy. And others seems to be insane, but are actually smart and able to see trough the bullshit.
357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡ [ANN] ⚡ DeepOnion TOR Integrated ⚡ No ICO 🚀 FREE Airdrops 🚀 6th of 40 Rounds on: August 23, 2017, 07:37:31 AM
im glad to see green numbers on novaexchange.

but the dumpers hurt the 24hrs btc volume from 30 btc to just 2 btc.

is like a new start , i mean is good but if this is gonna happen in every airdrop new investors will never come onion.

So please, keep holding onion.

Yes, it's good to see the price recovering a bit.
I think the floor is now 20k. No one wants to sell below this price.

This will turn out to be a game of chicken. After week 40 of the airdrop, people will have no incentive to hold, and the price will plummet. This is obvious, so people will have to sell earlier to be able to cash out with a huge profit. The only question is when the big sell of will start. Probably some time around week 30-34.

And if/when that happens, it will probably be a great buy opportunity and smart to have some low buy orders on the exchange.
358  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★★★ NEW-- Poker Room Design for new bitcoin brand --NEW ★★★ on: August 23, 2017, 07:25:29 AM
im bumping this post up

were getting closer to launching. Infact, within 3 weeks we should be ready to test our Beta!

If someone wants to throw their opinion as to what we should have for beta week, id be very interested to know.

Here are the options
a) A full week of Sit&Go Freerolls
b) MTT freerolls 10 times a day - value of 10mBTC every tourney and 1 main freeroll a day with a value of 20mBTC
c) 1 mBTC free for every new registration.

b) is best in my opinion.

You should also consider some limitations/requirments on some of the freerolls. In the start they should be easy. Like minimum 10 raked hands at cash game for people to ba able to register in the freerolls. That would encourage people to play.

Litecoin would be the obvious answer here. Longest living coin on the higher end of the marketcap, widespread adoption and active devlopment.
