341  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Turn Gambling into a Profitable Activity on: March 18, 2017, 10:29:39 PM
actually there is always very little risk if you have invested your money in gambling and specially if you have if you are running your own casino as there is always edge to the house to make money.

There is always a risk involved and no matter how small the risk is, risk is still risk. From investor's point of view, it is risky as some lucky gambler might be able to bust the house. You can also however make your own site however keep in your mind that not every site is going to be successful around here.
yes risk always remain there but if we have some good strategy in gambling then we can reduce the risk in gambling and can also ensure some good amount of profit.
342  Other / Archival / Re: Do you think that you're addicted to gambling? on: March 18, 2017, 10:27:36 PM
I am quite sure about this I am not addicted of gambling because I don't play rough only with faucet amount to spend some times.

Its good to know that you are not addicted to gambling as it will only waste your time and money and will give you nothing in return so its better to stay away from it as once if you get addicted then it will be very hard to quit gambling.
to me as most of the poeple are here pretending that they are not addicted go gambling and if fact they are addicted to gambling and they are just pretending other wise thee is no such reality.
343  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Payment method to trade with and allow Visa withdrawal? on: March 18, 2017, 10:21:21 PM
I decided to stop virtual visa cards for the risks involved here as my account could get frozen or something, I made a request at my local bank and I got the visa card however for some reasons, It didn't work for PayPal and I want to continue trading bitcoin with something else that allow linking a Visa card and withdrawing funds to it. I don't care about the fees as long as they are fair.

The risk is high as we have seen many people claiming that their account is getting closed from their bank which issued the card but not from the company we used to use their services. But have you tried to use their real plastic debit card and to link that with PayPal. I have got mine from CryptoPay and I think their fee is around 1% or a little more but haven't linked with PayPal. If you are interested in only a visa card then you may check the Payoneer, check for the reviews and check if still works to link with PayPal.
in my country we do not have such  facilities to use card for converting card and therefore we are using ordinary methods for doing so. hope very soon we will also be using such facilities in our country.
344  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you manage ur emotions? on: March 18, 2017, 10:18:10 PM
I have been losing a lot recently because of emotions as I was a gambler before and it is hard to keep it for myself. I have been calm when the price increased but at dump points I get heart attacks literally. Cry
There will be no differences in handling your emotions in both gambling and trading. But it will not good for your health and for your trading capital if you still losing your calmness in negative market conditions. I suggest you to partice more in mock account just get the drills and practices of different scenarios of usual bitcoin trading, this way you can gain knowledge on controlling yourselves.

I'm dealing with it by simply stopping and changing my plans, it's the hardest enemy as we know we are fighting with ourselves.
How it will be possible to stop trading when we are in loss with our trades. You mean before facing bigger losses you will cut and come out ? But you may be facing all the times losses only because sometimes market will bounce back after showing some negative movements.
i do not think that it is such a an easy job to manage and control our emotions, and specially if a person is playing gambling then it will become more difficult to manage our emotions in gambling.
345  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to know about next pump? on: March 18, 2017, 10:14:52 PM
No one knows when again increasing bitcoin. So the thing is to be alert and should study the motion of bitcoin. We just have to remember the lowering and raising it to know when we buy and sell bitcoin. Should the time of lowering the bitcoin has prepared you for money to buy.
yes that is very difficult to know about the exact time of increasing and decreasing price of bitcoin.but still there are some people who are earning good analysis and prediction about bitcoin price.
That is the hard part when the exact day that we can see the nexzt pump but many tools right now in the internet that you can use to know if when is the next pump and dump like this bitcoinwisdom.com you can use the tools for analysis for free..
Or you can join a group that can give us signal many group online are giving signal those are group of whales.
yes that is not such an easy job to know about the next pump in advance i think i present time there is alot of commotion in the market of bitcoin and i do not know about the next pump. i am hopeful that very soon the market of bitcoin will become stable.
346  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the best way to cashout your bitcoin now? on: March 18, 2017, 10:12:01 PM
It actually depends on the country which you live in. The best way is to sell them to your friends who need it in exchange to your local fiat.  Smiley
As far as I am concerned I have a lot of payment methods to accept when I sell bitcoins. I search localbitcoins and find the ads that suits me and then just sell, though usually I prefer to hold them rather than selling.
For guys who can't find a proper method please try taking paypal for your bitcoins and then just withdraw them to bank.
i think most of the people have available the cashing out facilites but i think the best facility for my is urdubit as our local bitcin exchange where i can convert my bitcoin in to fiat with in hours.
347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin IS basically DESTROYED on: March 17, 2017, 09:55:04 PM
Bitcoin is basically destroyed now with 70% of the mining controlled by China, soon to be 98+%, and with Blockstream implementing their SegWit soft fork Trojan Horse so as Matonis admits can end up increasing the 21 million coins limit.

The entire ecosystem is headed for a clusterfuck.

I honestly believe this is the truth.  What is there to add ?

~CfA~

UPDATE: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1465136.msg14789764#msg14789764
Well I honestly believed that this a real false statement where bitcoin is 70% destroyed, you've got to be kidding me. Now is almost 2017 and the price value was almost 1200$, is this the kind that bitcoin is basically destroy. Though the volatility is being happened in the ecosystem in the market but still remained closed at the price of bitcoin not reaching below 1200$.
yes instead of bitcoin s becoming more and more stronger as time pass. so how can we believe that bitcoin is basically destroyed. i also think that it is false statement.
yes there is no doubt about that fact that bitcoin is the number one currency of the world and hope that in future it will continue bitcoin as number online currency of the world.
348  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin implants? on: March 17, 2017, 09:52:38 PM
I personally not agree to that idea, harming your body to implant chip is not good, even though that idea making payment and other identification become easier, but implant technology into your body is not a good idea for me and it sound a bit scary
yes you are not a robot  you are sensible person and it is really  not a good idea to har our body. to me if it is o much important then you can use some other ways of using the chip for the purpose.
349  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has no competition on: March 17, 2017, 09:52:31 PM
I don't want to believe this but it looks real. ETH and BTC has the same amount of trading volume for the last 24 hours on btc-e. (20M $/24h)

Do people really think that eth is the next bitcoin? (sounds like a shit idea tbh) Or is there a huge scam going on?
It was the past when it was thought that Ethereum is the competitor of bitcoin and will go to become a next bitcoin as after ts hack people have lost trust on it fully and now mostly traders buy and sell ethereum coin as they think anytime any issue can happen with this technology.
but i do not think that there is any competitor to bitcoin, bitcoin is the number one currency of the world and  will also remain the number currency of the world, because peole are accepting bitcoin as currency of
350  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Wallet on: March 17, 2017, 09:35:11 PM
I think it is more likely that web wallets are the most used since many bitcoin users don’t want to deal with installing their own wallet, then I will probably guess the next most popular will be wallets for mobile devices since they are everywhere now, and finally the wallets for desktop.
yes no doubt about this that most of the people are using online wallet for keeping their bitcoin, to me i also use online wallet for saving money, but i am using online wallet for different wallets for security reasons.
351  Economy / Economics / Re: panic selling on: March 17, 2017, 09:04:51 PM
Some people are panicked every time we hear negative news. I think that this is due to the fact that panicists have very little knowledge about bitcoin. Or they are new to the bitcoin community. But because of these people, the price can go down

That's the reason why the price is falling down. They don't have a strong belief that bitcoin is the best choice for a long term investment. And every time there are speculators that are telling us that bitcoin will reach lower than $1k then those people that are holding and afraid of losing profit will certainly just do the same.
Price didn't fall to much to say that people have lost the trust in bitcoin.
It could have falling below $1k if hat were the case. There is less fall than rise and this is normal price correction.
Nothing to worry about as bitcoin will bounce back next month.

I'm not pointing out about their trust in bitcoin, they do trust it because they have it but what matters is he profit that they may possibly get. And just like right now, there are some that made the price of bitcoin decrease again up to $1184 and now back to $1,200 again. These people just make the price to move for profit.
to me i think most of the people have no become mature, and they are not selling their bitcoin in panic selling, while still there are some unmature people who continue selling their bitcoin when the market start a little correction.
352  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think They’ll Use the US Dollar on Mars? on: March 17, 2017, 09:01:16 PM
As long theres internet bitcoin can be used anywhere even you are on pluto the main issue here is the internet connection which is mainly needed on connecting between the network. It would be useless if theres no internet theres no need to create a new coin.
to me i think it will be more convenient to use bitcoin on mars instead of USD, because bitcon is the need of the modern age and most of the people are mostly depend on bitcoin fo living. so the importance of bitcoin is increasing from time to time.
353  Economy / Economics / Re: Big Message in A Small Package on: March 17, 2017, 08:55:24 PM
As someone who's mostly ignorant on how things work (heck, can't even wrap my head around conspiracy theories) I mostly just let myself be washed away by the current. Like you mentioned yourself, try paddling upstream and you can find yourself sinking. This is just to large for one man to completely understand, much more go against. Be like the crypto-Jews. Keep it all to yourself. If you're small enough, they just might not notice you. Freedom is really overrated. No one's ever truly free. Same can be said for free will.

Trust no one (except me!)

You can't tell me what to do!  Grin
Free will is irrelevant because man kind has perceived free will.  But to stay on topic, Bitcoin is our simple way of escaping the banking system and mainstream currency, without necessarily even fully understanding the banking system, which we don't always need to do.

But to be honest in some cases fiat does actually help people - you mention the benefits given to people, and isn't ignorance bliss for some people?  If everyone knew about Bitcoin most people wouldn't make a profit from it because the main gains of it are from increases in adoption.

to me i think if a person have a little sense then he can get good profit from bitcoin even though he do not have any money at all. i think he need to invest some money in trading alt coin and if he have some good trading skill then he can make money from trading alt coin. and if a person do not have any money t invest still he has the opportunities to earn bitcoin by joining alt coins.
354  Economy / Economics / Re: Spending Bitcoins on: March 17, 2017, 08:52:33 PM
To grow the adoption of bitcoin we need people spending it as a daily currency.
In my country there is not much I cant buy with bitcoins.
Granted not a lot of retailers accept BTC yet but with all the services available now they dont need to.
A bitcoin debit card can be very handy.

Nowadays if I need to pay a bill then I can pay any bill via a site called livingroomofsatoshi

Please list any reasons why you could not use bitcoin for day to day expenses and maybe we can find a way.

In my country too, no such option of paying in bitcoin is available.I heard that xapo provides a bitcoin debit card.I dont know about the fees they charge.I just want to try it.
in my country we do not have such facilites, here in our country they are not providing their service, the only reason can be that the users of bitcoin are not too much in my country. and the second reason may be that our government is also not providing opportunities to people to do so.
355  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin benefit of saving for a long time? on: March 17, 2017, 07:58:55 PM
why so many people store their bitcoin in their wallet for a long time, whether the benefits will they get?

Come share your thoughts

We cannot say when will the bitcoin will raise or fall so it's more better to store your bitcoin for a while. So if the bitcoin raise and when it comes a time that you need a money, you can use the bitcoins that you save to spend all of your expenses.
although it is really very difficult to predict about the price of bitcoin but still i will like to say that there are so many means through which we can find out and can predict about the price of bitcoin.
356  Economy / Economics / Re: how much do you earn with 25$ investment on: March 17, 2017, 07:51:00 PM
25$ is a too small amount of money to be called an "investment" At least to get a decent profit from it. Better than nothing you will say. And you are right. On the web if you want earn big, or at least a decent amount, you have to spend big. Otherwise you get what you pay for, or invest, in this case
yes that is very right to say that 25$ is a very little money to invest, but i think still there are some potentially good alt coins where you can get a good amounts of shares of that coin and where you can earn a good amount of money from even investing a small amount of bitcoin.
357  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: March 17, 2017, 07:47:18 PM
I recently paid for some local tacos using Bitcoin. My friend who was unfamilar with Bitcoin thought it was strange, like I technically didn't pay for them or something. We got into discussing Bitcoin and one of the questions he asked me was:
"Why would you want Bitcoins instead of cash?". For a second I didn't know what to say; then I thought about it and here is what I came up with. Feel free to contribute to this.

1) More security (especially if you are careful).

2) Bitcoins are a potential investment, cash is not. Paper currency only really goes down in value, Bitcoins have a lot of potential to be worth more as time goes on.

3) Fast, worldwide transactions at your fingertips.

4) Similar to #3, but it's a universal currency. It's legal in most countries of the world and you don't need any kind of currency conversion to send money to people in a different country than your own.

Bitcoin is more convenient, easy to handle, no need to bring some cash, you can withdraw anytime, sending money without fee.
You can also invest, trade, and buy anytime you want. Bitcoin's value is getting higher by the time goes by.
Some country was just using atm/mastercard to purchase in malls, supermarket and more. Bitcoin can be use just like that if they know the value of it.
in modern time and specially in big cities it is very common to use online means for shopping and so many other purpsoes, therefore to them bitcoin is the most convenient way to use for shopping and also for other activities like online trading and online investment.
358  Economy / Economics / Re: How many Bitcoin do you have saved? on: March 17, 2017, 07:30:35 PM
For now I haven't save bitcoin yet because I am always exchanging it to fiat cash then cashed out for my personal family needs. Well I really planned to save it for the future investments, particularly I wanted to be in trading soon for profitable future investments that is really sustainable for everyone of us.
to me currently i have a good amount of bitcoin saving in my online wallet. in which i mostly invest in trading alt coin. but in current days as the price of bitcoin is mostly expected to increase more and more therefore i like to save bitcoin and not to invest it anywhere else.
359  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the economy situation in your country that bad? on: March 17, 2017, 07:28:15 PM
Its not as as other country but barely good enough to support needs of most people, there are just few poeple who cannot be supported by the government
The government supports only the rich and officials. The common people suffer as always, but in countries that are broken up, the fight against corruption turns into an immoral procession of the opposing sides.
Yeah governments and politicians were completely corrupted and they always work for the rich people who move the economy of the country. When this mentality of politicians gets changed and focus towards common people make a better growth in the country's economy.
i think most of the backward countries are facing the same problem. in my country we are also facing some financial problems. in our country people do not have jobs opportunities and the jobs are even not diving to the right persons i think the politics have great impact on the progress of our economic situations.
360  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to Invest BTC? on: March 16, 2017, 08:43:04 PM
As of now investing Bitcoin directly is not advisable to do because there are a lot of scams and hyips our there almost all of them will run away your money before you reach your ROI. It is also not advisable to put your Bitcoin and exchange it for any altcoin because there is a lot of pump and dump coins out there. The risk you are taking is not the equivalent to the reward you are looking for.
yes that is a fact, i think it is more important to study about the sites where you want to invest your money, and after good analysianad, because there are some sites which can scam you and can take your money.
