341  Economy / Economics / Re: Why you can't be rich by owning crypto on: April 07, 2021, 02:49:21 AM
You have a point there but there is always an exemption. If one investor owns hundreds or thousands of bitcoin, he can actually live his whole life without worrying much about expenses. Even the commodities are continue to go high as you have said that bitcoin also continues to go up as well, as those of the needed things to buy like essential foods, etc then it will still be afford by an individual who have lots of bitcoin.

Things are changing, if bitcoin will gonna be adopted well in different countries, expect more develop and more improve bitcoin many years from now.
342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You Think Bitcoin Save Your Economy on: April 07, 2021, 12:32:13 AM
When we tackle about bitcoin's aiding country's economy, there are so much things we need to consider. First off, the adoption isnt reach yet.

Though somehow, this pandemic helps some people to be aware of other way of acquiring income like trading, etc. But when it comes to economy's sake, the government should actually fully accept cryptocurrency as their can be a help to many businesses and improve financial connection.
343  Economy / Gambling / Re: Balance Removed from CoinRoyale on: April 06, 2021, 10:51:58 AM
I dont think you can still get that account back. Their TOS clearly stated about  the dormant account and as they are trying to help you out, those informations they want you to provide  which I doubt if you all remember those, if they terminated your account the  how can they return your balance?

Well, you still have a point though. If they reply you back then, it was already fixed and will not reach this situation.
344  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am writing an article on how to stop bitcoin. Can you guy help out? on: April 06, 2021, 07:45:04 AM
You cant stop bitcoin. It has been circulated already. If certain country will ban cryptocurrency, bitcoin will definitely stopped and controlled from that area. However, as long as bitcoin exists, you cant do anything to stop it.

You cant also go back to the time where it has been produced, maybe you can just change your article and do the opposite on ways on how to support it instead.
345  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Altcoins News, Exchange Listing, Upcoming Events etc. on: April 05, 2021, 11:21:47 AM

Anyway, alt season ngayon. Asahan na mag pump din ang mga coins na yan na kaka add lang nila.
346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFTs everywhere ! on: April 05, 2021, 09:39:05 AM
It was the latest hype circulating in crypto market. Investors are looking this NFT coin as a good coin now that they arent hesitant to buy huge amount of it.

Ive been heard this coin last month and tries to buy few amount of it. Not gonna deny that it gives me some profits, the hype help the coin to still continue to rise. Also, popular people considered NFT as a great coin so it was also been help to put this coin in trending.
347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Pundi X recover after recent token swap? on: April 05, 2021, 07:38:38 AM
Could the reason for the price drop have anything to do with the token swap?

Nope, it is because traders sell off their PUNDI X, continued to drop its price and they panic sell again causing the coin's price dump. Token swap doesnt do anything about it. But just like other altcoins, it will still goes up. Depends how strategy will they gonna use. If they advertise it again, do some partnerships, or do some project improvements.
348  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price predictions based on actual data / mathematics on: April 05, 2021, 05:06:34 AM

For the price of btc to double (55k usd to 110k usd) it has to go from its current market cap of USD 1 trillion to USD 2 trillion. Then to double again (110k usd to 220k usd)  it needs a 4 trillion market cap. Where is all this money coming from?

What money are you talking about here.? I thought we are talking about the price of bitcoin and how to double it with doubling also the market cap. And there are so many big investors who tend to buy and hold bitcoin, and big companies who invested into it. Why ask where is it coming from?

Quote
The people in 2021 saying btc will go to 10 mil or 100 mil etc what mathematics are they basing their predictions on? Or are they just making numbers up?

Others predicted the price of bitcoin as 1mil to 100mil but they definitely saying it that it will happen few years from now. Some just speculated it based on the previous history of btc, some also used technical analysis  as their basis.
349  Other / Archival / Re: Interesting btc events so far in 2021 on: April 05, 2021, 01:03:50 AM
The NEW ATH for bitcoin really amazed new investors, thus making them to decide to try new kind of asset as bitcoin. There are so many great things happened this year, many altcoins really pump well, just like doge, eth, xrp, trx and other defi coins like uni and cake.

Also, isnt the TESLA who made big btc investments did a loud noise in crypto industry? Other companies envy TESLA making them to reconsider investing cryptocurrency, too.

351  Economy / Economics / Re: The New Zealand Pension Fund announced a $ 17.5 million bitcoin (BTC) investment on: April 03, 2021, 10:14:56 PM
A lot of companies are already investing in bitcoin. Its just that pension fund company like Kiwisaver used to do some traditional funds thus entering such new kind of assets is a great advantage. You see, they bought bitcoin at $10,000 last year and look at the price of it today. They made a good decision as they obviously are having a good profits by now.

At first those traditional investors will be skeptical, new things will always be in doubt but if they see how fast and how great this bitcoin investments will be, it will probably change their perspective about it will change.
352  Economy / Speculation / Re: What are the fundamentals behind the conception: 1 BTC will worth USD 1 million? on: April 02, 2021, 11:03:57 PM
It is a dream that will possibly happen 20 to 50 years from now. We cant say what strong fundamental will that be but if the pricd of bitcoin before was cents to dollar to 60k usd now, then 1million usd could also be reach.

But one thing is for sure, since bitcoin has limited supply and if we have reach that few supply to circulate, the price will surely flactuate that much.
353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Low volume coins good for investment now? on: April 02, 2021, 11:01:08 AM
Can a coin with very low 24hrs volume still brings profit? For example zclassic, the volume isn't even up to 20k in 24hrs, is it worth the risk or it's a big no for you? What do you think about this?

I wont take a risks of buying low volume coins. Its just means that low trading volume means traders dont consider this coin as a good potential one. Choose those coins that has a high trading volume, it was actively traded in the market and there is a greater chance of gaining profits than those who have low volumes that needed to be push up by their own devs and teams.
354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: See why most bounty hunters get scammed on: April 02, 2021, 10:34:36 AM
First, they are in desperate to join thats why reading the whole posts isnt their priority, their mind set is to just submit their application. This actually an example of hunters just joining because of the certain needed of the rewards.

But even those who arent newbies submit their application and then re read again the posts, late realizing that it was just a troll. You can't blame them, as they wanted to just earn even the dumbest project, as long as there is a reward included in the posts, they will still fall for it.
355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are your Two Outstanding Picks till the end of this Year??? on: April 02, 2021, 06:29:49 AM
Theres a lot of new and promising altcoins this year but my two most picks are;

- EOS that used DPoS and can compare to ETH's program like multi language system and scalability.

Aside from that I still considered TRX. Ive been holding it for many months now and its great to see how far it went today.
Theyve also have DEX platform it can be level to those new dex coins.
356  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you use locktime for hodling? on: April 02, 2021, 04:31:32 AM
Ive been  keeping my own bitcoin for so many years now and I dont even need that locktime. You just need a good  and tight self control for holding it.

But it is still your choice OP, if you really wanted to go on and hold it without further attempt to touch and withdraw some of it. In terms of emergency circumstances wherein you need to cash out some of it, then you can't sell it off until the time you set it off.
357  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin wasn’t created to make you rich. It was created to make you free on: April 02, 2021, 02:30:18 AM
I hate that I cannot save money effectively because our government loves to inflate problems away at the expense of my savings...

Thats the only problem when you are eager to invest in bitcoin and yet you are in a country that prohibits cryptocurrency. Which country do you belong? If they regulated bitcoin and has only limited use of it, maybe you can still buy and hold it in a cold wallet. Since it can be a store value, keep it in a long term and you will still see your bitcoin as your savings and investment at the same time growing.
358  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: New Cryptocurrencies Added To Abra :) on: April 01, 2021, 11:17:11 AM
Salamat sa heads up.

Anyway, never heard of those new coins na i adopt ng Abra maliban sa DOT, UNI at WAVES. Will try to search those newly added coins kung worth it din ba silang i hold like others.
359  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: sharply diverged expectations for bitcoin on: April 01, 2021, 08:44:55 AM
And that medium speculated bitcoin at $20k level at 2021 but then bitcoin is showing the opposite thing and still gaining its strength above $50k.
If ever it has correction, it will just pull back below $40,000. However if thay happens if ever, we may accumulate more bitcoin and that will surely be the opporunity to buy.
360  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If You Buy btc Today and cash out one year on: April 01, 2021, 06:39:31 AM
Setting it only a year, I dont think it will make you rich. In a span of a year there will so many possible sideways, bearish times. What if you bought at 50k usd today and then you hold it and set to sell one year from now and then bitcoin crash half of your bought price?

You should just set your target profit regardless how long you hold your bitcoin. If your target profit hit, you can actually sell it off even you didnt reach that one year.
