when they do come up for sale it is usually around 12am to 2am Eastern time for me and they dont last long - maybe 2 hours tops, sometimes they are sold out in less than 20 minutes.

Smaller batches lots of resellers eating them up. Best to plan ahead or find a trusted vendor.
342  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: My "mini" mining farms , set up + wiring on: May 27, 2019, 02:12:40 PM
Time for aggressive expansion is when pricing is low to lowest. Which I feel will be coming to a close here by Q4. Otherwise it's simply adding hash to stay ahead of diff and finding better efficiencies with what you have to drive revenue.
343  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: ckpool.org ZERO FEE SPLNS no registration mining pool US/DE/CN on: May 24, 2019, 02:52:43 AM
I always saw this as a user centric pool. I'd rather know a bunch of individual people are smart enough to hold their own keys even when mining.
344  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: US Tariff Ruling N297495 = 2.6% mandatory tariff on bitcoin mining hardware on: May 24, 2019, 01:20:30 AM
Duties are taxes, which are due at import by the recipient or in our case if you elect to have us file for you under our tax id. Freighters will often expedite shipments to benefit the consumer cause everyone like timely deliveries.

Like income taxes if you don't file it doesn't mean they're not due.

A10 not slated for shipping till July.
346  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain introduces the Antminer S17 Pro, Antminer S17, and the Antminer T17 on: May 23, 2019, 07:57:37 PM
High time preference. I imagine they can replace boards more easily in their minds than it would to vertically install.  ..
347  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: US Tariff Ruling N297495 = 2.6% mandatory tariff on bitcoin mining hardware on: May 23, 2019, 07:55:40 PM
Yup, best to take care of it all upfront.

How long ago though, if before late August 2018 it should only be the 2.6% due.
348  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: ckpool.org ZERO FEE SPLNS no registration mining pool US/DE/CN on: May 22, 2019, 07:55:31 PM
You'll still hash and earn. Payout will change with next block and you can see a lot of the 13-15 th/s range is about 0.012-0.015 in derp.
349  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: ckpool.org ZERO FEE SPLNS no registration mining pool US/DE/CN on: May 22, 2019, 07:47:46 PM
0.015 might be close if you're active, 100% ramped up and no other variables change.

Edit: This isn't a pool to hop or try to game. If you're not 100% on how it works you'll probably be confused and unhappy. So keep asking questions if you need to and make the best decision for your unit and expectations.
350  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: My Avalon A921 is on the way on: May 22, 2019, 07:03:37 PM
I wonder if the best way to try it would be with 4 chains separated by the MM firmware but you'll need more AUC3's and with five units on one controller would have to likely have two on one chain.
351  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: ckpool.org ZERO FEE SPLNS no registration mining pool US/DE/CN on: May 22, 2019, 06:55:42 PM
Computer Genie made a tool.

yourcomputergenie.com/?address=

Just add your address after the equal sign. The pool is way over due for block.

You'll have to hash more. So that's continuing to hash here and adding more over time is your best option. It's a low time preference pool till more join us.

I think you will start payouts after the next block, and depending on pool size and your hash will get payout every block if you're top 100 I believe.

Should explain everything on the pools page but maybe others will add or correct me soon.

Apologies, corrected. Awesome service to Canada, appreciated. Grin

No apology needed. Just glad everything went well.

Actually, to avoid the racial slur ... MSG would also be Doritos, KFC, Chik-Fil-A and Pringles ... USA companies.

Racial slur? Not sure those count in comedy. The best retort would have been to jest at american expense than being so literal. I think it's called banter.

We have a unit on it's way back to GS. Looks like just a loose usb, maybe a rough transit or something but these are pretty sturdy in general. Feel like I could safely flip it in my hand, not that anyone should. Demo is still pumping, close to 900gh/s average.

I've ordered a third setup from MFG because these work so well together.

MFG? Sounds like bad chinese food.
354  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain introduces the Antminer S17 Pro, Antminer S17, and the Antminer T17 on: May 21, 2019, 05:23:09 PM
They had some quick early batches and imagine they're waiting their turn at the foundry now.
355  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: GekkoScience Terminus R606 750GH (up to 1TH) quiet miner, now shipping on: May 15, 2019, 04:58:15 PM
pci connected doesn't make it "lefty" friendly.
356  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: GekkoScience NewPac / Terminus R606 (BM1387) Official Support Thread on: May 14, 2019, 05:40:34 PM
WinX is finicky. I get asic boost to work well on my desktop and surface but not laptop. I think I've voltage setting 5 averaging over 800gh/s poolside at ckpool. With a couple of zero hashing instances. Then I've been getting local IP disconnects through the middle of the night. So I'd say average is closer to 900gh/s. Smiles do ensue when I look at the blinky lights.

maybe check software section or ask there?
358  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Innosilicon Terminator 3 on: May 14, 2019, 05:25:39 PM
I would buy while prices are low if looking at upgrades. Demand will bull along with market regardless. Even s9 pricing has seen a uptick along with 852, 911. Inno has increased their A9 models and I would expect to see increases to their T2T's and T3's soon.
359  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: GekkoScience Terminus R606 750GH (up to 1TH) quiet miner, now shipping on: May 13, 2019, 05:50:00 PM
Looks like there's a extra little present on it's way with the r606. Wink
360  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Current List of Competitive Hardware - April 2019 on: May 13, 2019, 05:11:38 PM
Pricing is fine imo, as nothing else is/will competing with the M20 but yes too long of lead time.
