Hello, this is great to see a potential cloud hashing platform for these newer algorithms. This is just in time for securing DarkCoin nicely for the future.
However, I have a question.
Are you still going to sell a physical consumer-end product? If so, why? Do you expect to have enough revenues/profit to cover the overhead of technical support, shipping, inventory, etc?
Given all of the technical and logistical difficulties that every other ASIC manufacturer has had, it seems risky.
Forgive me for being ignorant on this subject!

Here you can see I am running two Cannacoin wallets on the same computer, one for the testnet (test blockchain) and one for the mainnet (real blockchain). We will be putting testnet coins into a testnet faucet for the community to participate and for developers to test their applications with! You can see the test-net wallet is already staking.

There is no bitcointalk thread regarding this "Crypto Next" you are referring to... BCT is the usenet of altcoins. If you don't ANN a coin on here, how do you expect to stake a claim of any sort in the industry? Where is their network specifications? Is it a Bitcoin clone? Is this a IOU coin issued on NXT or Ripple? "Crypto Next Coins ("CXC") are tokens that can be redeemed against any one transaction on a Crypto Next exchange, regardless of the transaction volume, or against a merchant commission for converting digital currency to a local currency." These are tokens for that website, not a cryptocurrency. Furthermore, why does it say "CN" on the coins in their videos? Nice try.

It was the zip I was downloading, Chrome has not done this to me before, I download zips all the time from mega. Alas, I will leave that to you to recreate.
If you look at the main page you should be able to locate your Bitcoin deposit address next to your CXC address As for the installer, it very well might be a chrome issue. I believe that happened to me in Windows. For safest install, download source and compile in Linux.

I'm following this out of curiosity. Blocks are being generated: http://navajocoin.org/block-explorerThe question is did a fork somehow occur and are there now two or multiple separate chains. In theory, everyone should get back on the longest chain...

Don't know why, but downloading the windows wallet in Chrome results in a Malware warning. While likely a false positive it may deter people. Eset AV and FF show no warning. Can anyone else confirm? also, on the http://crowdsale.cxc.bid/Home/BuyerAddress page , I inputted my CXC addy and clicked submit, I received no BTC address, upon resubmitting I get the following: Enter Your CheckoutCoin Address: (address field) This is Your BTC Deposit Address Send BTC to this address to purchase CheckoutCoins in the crowdsale. At the end of the crowdsale you will receive an allocation of CheckoutCoins proportional to your BTC purchase amount as a percentage of the total BTC purchase amount from all buyers. Coin address already allocated. Copyright © CheckoutCoin 2014 StatCounter - Free Web Tracker and Counter On the previous page (prior to submit) it said "Address will appear here upon valid coin address submission." no addresses other than the one I pulled from the CXC wallet appear on that page. Broken script? Am I missing something? Did you try downloading just the .zip? Chrome usually gives a warning when you download .exe files Were you able to get a BTC deposit address?

These are the type of people that are leading the ICO you are considering investing in.
If the leader is such a dick to legit questions, how do you expect him to act when you have concerns or potential issues with the platform?
Stay far away. A leader will set the example for his people, not incite dissent like this.
Afterward he became somewhat more civil. But what kind of person doesn't know about first impressions?
In any case - DYOR, practice due diligence. I wouldn't risk MY money with someone like this, but it's up to you.
Quatloocoin and Quatloo trader have been very successful and some of the same team are behind CXC... If you aren't sure about the product release then don't invest more than you can lose and just wait until after the ICO and product are out. I am looking forward to trying out the product when the time comes... but until then, you are right, DYOR. I'm not concerned at all about these guys delivering the product. The ICO is transparent and that's a huge plus. I was just giving them an update on the date, since we are taking CXC to the CryptoMoneyExpo in tel-aviv the 5/6 of december, we changed the ICO closing-date from the 4th of december to the 7th of december to give a wider presentation and build more bridges. We want to deliver good information, a great product and take a leading position in moving the crypto-currency forward to the web-shops and physical stores out there. Sounds great. I am looking forward to the CXC product

Announcements: Finalized POSV Details & release announcement.Checking in to provide some details on the transition proof-of-stake... We are in the processes of completing Mac, Windows and Linux builds and will have downloads targeted for release Monday. The details for the new PoSV network will be as follows: 1) 2% Annual Network Staking Interest 2) Coinstake maturity after 70 confirmation 3) 3 Confirms for standard transactions 4) LAST POW BLOCK = 370,000This update will be a HARDFORK release, ALL clients must be updated PRIOR to block 370,000 in order for you to secure your funds on the CCN network. Please check in regularly in the coming weeks as we move through this transition, there may be important announcements or updates requiring action on your behalf. Along with the updates we have launched a brand new test network that will provide a simulation of the CCN network for development purposes, this will be accessible at startup using the -testnet flag and will be baked into the original Cannacoin QT/Daemon (no need to download another client). We are also planning a secondary faucet to be utilized for acquiring a good sum of testnet coins for testing & development. The new code is available for peer review on github, we will be merging this repository into the main Cannacoin repository as a new branch upon release for proper maintainability and historical reference to older versions of the codebase. https://github.com/Cannacoin-Project/ccn-redd/Final note, for anyone with questions about "how does the new network work?" we are planning a release of a completed Cannacoin FAQ with lots of details pertaining to the new proof-of-stake model, I should have this completed within the coming days. The FAQ covers a lot of the common questions as well as providing some technical insight into the inner workings of proof-of-stake with velocity. -SubCreative Thanks for the update!

Once this coin transitions to PoSV will it still need POW hashing power?
Nope! Cool. I guess you won't mind me telling all of the miners to move there hash power over to THC The Hemp Coin after the switch. XD Wow. what's up with the price drop just now? Great news from CCN and the price drops to a 30 day all time low. I will put in some buy orders. I wish I had some buy orders set that low 5 hours ago~! Might as well mine THC after CCN. I haven't done much research on that coin but if they have a good development team and 0% premine, I think it's a blockchain worthy of taking an interest in.

Announcement 11/17/14: PoW -> PoSV Testnet transition a success!
Good news is in! We have successfully simulated and transitioned Scrypt PoW -> PoSV twice over CCN testnet! After hundreds of hours of code review, testing and debugging our peer to peer connections are working, we are generating PoSV blocks and transactions are broadcasting/confirming as expected! This means we've done it! We're getting ready to compile and release a new update/wallet over the coming week or so. You can expect a more formal and detailed announcement to follow in the coming days with exact fork numbers and protocol changes listed.
I am personally extremely excited to bring this change to the CCN community! I am so incredibly proud of alll those involved in making this happen, after this battle I can honestly say the CCN team is a completely new team and each one has proven themselves to be true protocol specialists. Special thanks to the entire CCN dev team (James, Patrick, Phil) and also to our colleagues Kassado and Dfletcher for the invaluable tips and tricks from your experiences with the Redd/POSV codebase. Without everyone contributing this would have not been possible!
Toke up, Cheers! SubCreative
+1 on the thank you to dfletcher and kassado. *edit* Looks like the transition is set for block 370,000... the source should be finished tonight and getting the new wallets compiled they should be ready in less than a week.

they are probably pretty small wallets, it would be interesting to see the c-cex wallets though

the Bittrex wallet has shrunk considerably. Last week was ~3.7M coins, now 2.6M. I can now see the order book all the way to the 1100's. We are gonna go up from here.
i think that you are correct about the wallets and that this coin will make some upside movement very soon with some more info on developments

There's nothing wrong with self-moderating... but why not just answer the questions that were posed... they are literally harmless questions... Does this look like FUD? Seriously? We've been running all over the place with getting supplies to our new grow setup in Northern Arizona. We've got power, Water, walls, Roof and floor all setup. Things are coming along on this front. What harvest size is coming up for the next CANNDY drop and how long can it be expected? How big can the investors expect of a harvest? What type and how many lights are running the garden that will be released for the next CANNDY release to your investors? One of our Growers whom recently joined the CANN team has been working with me on the Northern AZ grow. He and his team will be supporting the YesWeCann movement and will be working
Many support the CANN movement an including growers already. What support will this grower be bringing exactly? Does he offer his entire grow room to flower cananbis in return to be exchanged for CANN? Is it just a small portion of his grow he's offering or the entire thing? Have you any other details that you can release, size of room, amount of lights ect? Keep in mind, these projects are currently being self-funded by the team and its supporters.
Can you further clarify what you mean when you say self-funded by the supporters? How do you get the funds to support the projects from your supporters and are there outside investors? It seems the facility is quite large and will need a lot of funding. Do you plan to use the entire facility for CANN and the movement or just a portion? We are currently experimenting with more strains and working on developing hybrids.
Who's the breeder of the project and what genetic lineage are you planning on working with? Do you plan to use just one male or a bundle of males for the breeding project? Do you plan to stabilize the genetics and release seeds in the future or will you be only keeping these "in house"? Development of the CannabisCoin web wallet has been 99% completed. We will be placing additional physical servers at the datacenter strictly for CANN developments and future services for CANN.
Are you forking a web wallet thats been currently developed already? or will this be from the ground up? Who's the dev on the web wallet project? Sorry for all the questions, however i'd like to look into the opportunities this coin has to offer as a potential investor. The information above would help solidify how one can move forward with when making this decision.

well i got this message from the CANN team today but i have not posted in a CANN thread for quite a long time Stop trolling our threads and focus on your own projects. You have done enough with your https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=78908 account. Your history and actions have gone far beyond ridiculous and take note that this is a direct official request. We do not wish any further contact from you or your team at CCN/Cannapay/Cannacoin. STOP REPOSTING and SPAMMING our thread and respect the bitcointalk forum community! apparently delta9 was upset that JamesonOTC asked some questions about the details and the dev went off the rails and locked the CANN thread: We've been running all over the place with getting supplies to our new grow setup in Northern Arizona. Good news we have the test-net up and running already. More info to come
Sweet! Let us know how the network is behaving during the testing More good news, we have the test-net staking now! We're going to run some more simulations and we'll be in touch

thank you, will do only 19 days left of the ICO auction How much progress on the QT wallet features do you expect to finish by launch? for the cash-register - a public ETA for first Beta is 30 days after the ICO auction is over, but we might release earlier betas to the community for testing purposes. Sounds good
