341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So many scam giveaways is it because Bitcoin is moving up on: July 27, 2020, 11:23:11 PM
Do people notice that these scam giveaways are just happening this year after the halving and many social media hacks are happening
are all these planned because people are tempted to give in and fall in this scam giveaways because of the big bonus
Bitcoin is now moving up and so many social media of popular people are hacked, is this coincidence or planned.

Scam giveaways have been around for a long time now which are mostly seen in social media channels starting with twitter. Also the social media hack that happened was something that was planned by the hackers and also owing to the fact they know most people are greedy when it comes to giveaways, they leveraged that tactics hence they succeeded. Also, although I might not have noticed the rising number of scam giveaways because I hardly pay attention to them, but I think you are making a good point, that is, with Bitcoin surging high scammers will look for ways to acquire more of it, thus bringing out more scam giveaways, airdrops etc
342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SIMPLE ADVICE TO ALL NEW TRADERS on: July 27, 2020, 11:13:39 PM
TRADING is not something anyone rush into because it's paying people, its something you sit down, read and understand and also learn by doing. To trade furures, no good trader will tell you to jump into futures trading with a small capital and high leverage ,  to be a good trader you need discipline , the same discipline you apply to a 10$ account is what you should apply to a 10k$ account.

your trading capital is just numbers on the screen, the method and ways by which you manage those numbers is what will determine and make you a good and profitable trader.

ITS GOOD TO KNOW THAT ANYONE CAN BE A GOOD TRADER WHEN THEY ONLY SHOW YOU THE PROFITS THEY MAKE. DONT LET ANYONE RUSH YOU INTO WHAT YOU ARE NOT PREPARED FOR

This is a good advice and anyone who listens will mostly make a good trader. Just like you rightly said, trading is not child's play because at every point funds is involved which will either be lost or gained more and the only way to gain more is by sitting down to learn. Most people today that complains about trading are likely those who jumped into it without enough knowledge. Therefore my suggestion is still same as yours, which is, anyone who really want to trade and make the best out of it should first and foremost learn about trading.
343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You want the best for your new project? on: July 26, 2020, 11:17:45 PM
You want the best for your new project? I am strictly pointing at these exchanges because they are now intentionally supporting bad projects without remorse, these following exchanges never have any good results on IEO projects since last year's now

1. P2PB2B
2. Vindax
3. Exmarket
4. Bitcratic
5. Latoken

I wish these exchanges can just disappeared from the face of crypto space forever, developers smarten up and go for better exchanges unless you are a scammer yourself because these exchanges are now scammers den.

Simple and short, any team that want the best for their project should also try their best to get listed on good exchanges, not only will they attract more users but will also have good trading volume, and everyone knows that good trading volume is one of the characteristics of a good project with a good team. All these listed exchanges are not good for any project which aims to grow more but Instead will even kill the project as quick as possible. In addition to this, I also believe good team do not associate with these types of exchanges. Lastly, those exchanges will still be here because of those team who patronises them.
344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH is going up day by day.. on: July 26, 2020, 11:02:15 PM
I have noticed many of the alts but ETH is truly a strong competitor in crypto market, over the past few days ETH is showing some great signs which means the price is pumping.

The price have also break new yearly high, eth is absolute gem for Investment. I am sure it is all set to break $300k barrier some interesting story is about to come in this crypto market, let's wait and watch...

To be sincere ETH is an exceptional coin and no matter what people always say about it, they will always come to the understanding of trusting and using it. I could remember the price early this year and all that was said, now take a look at the price today, it is really a thing of surprise especially for those who have been holding since Jan. Also, I can say, we are in for big surprises this year because it looks like bull run is about to set in, although anything can still happen. Nevertheless, I believe holding ETH has always been a good decision most people can make.
345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No exchange? No Value! on: July 25, 2020, 11:46:37 PM
So I bought an altcoin called batcoin from a cryptocurrency exchange website. I even withdrew all my coins to an offline wallet, because I don't exactly trust exchange websites. However, the exchange it was listed is now gone, due to a hack.

So now I am stuck with coins that have no value.  Undecided

Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry

What do you think I should do now?

I am just hearing about this coin and are you sure the team are trustworthy because if they are, even with an exchange they are listed on gone they are ought to look for more better ways or exchanges to keep their token trading.
What you should do? Since you were fast enough to withdraw to your personal wallet, visit the project group to get all neccessary information because everything is now within the powers of the team and whichever way they drive the platform in such way will you follow unless they have exited scam too.
346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can ICOs come back in the game? on: July 25, 2020, 11:40:37 PM
I can't even imagine ICOs coming back because it will bring back a lot of things to mind and will people still actually invest? That is, why investing in a project wherein you will keep asking the team about listing when you can invest in a project via IEO where listing is assured. Also, in IEO the exchange it is taking place on will make investors to decide if they should or not, but are all these possible with ICO? In ICO, the team can say whatever they want to make money and then do whatever they want when they have gotten the money. So in my own opinion, I do not see ICOs coming back anytime soon.

348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can I restart a dead altcoin and continue the development?? on: July 24, 2020, 11:47:05 PM
Hi,

I see lots of abandoned crypto projects with potential and lets say I am interested in one of them and want to keep the devlopment going. What should I do to achieve that?
Do I need to talk to the creators of the project?

Looking for some insight on it.

Thanks

The only truth is that, you will only end up lossing your money. I think the questions you should be asking yourself before coming up with this idea is, If truly it is a potential project why aren't the team working on it but giving up? Why did they exit scam? Why is the token price seriously down? The answer to these questions will make you understand that, they aren't potential projects and the team only did what they had to do so as to lay hands on money. My humble suggestion is, forget about this idea because you will likely regret it but instead go and invest in Bitcoin.
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Crypto crash the system? on: July 24, 2020, 11:38:29 PM
Crypto will never crash  the system and replace money, at least not in north america.Everything is enforced by laws, like a law that tax needs to be paid in cash, on all items, no matter what the person pays with.Sometimes it feels like people think if we all go crypto, money is somehow going to be free, and life is going to be so much easier, I don't think that's true.Imagine if you could only buy bread with crypto, and some billionaire buys a large amount of crypto the night before, the next morning your bread will cost twice as much.In other words its a rare resource, basing prices on crypto doesn't make sense. It can represent money all day long, and have value based on the dollar, but I don't think it can be money, unless governments just make digital cash for us, that doesn't jump too much.

Anything that posses a threat to the government, they find ways to control it and make sure it doesn't remove power from them. Crypto do not afford government the power of control they sort for and thus it can't crash any system because the government won't allow it. Also, crypto is global but countries have their own fiat which gives them power to carry out anything they want. So I will say, crypto will continue going forward but will not have the power to crash the world system however it can only offer a better alternative to services being rendered to users.

351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it risky to invest in new crytpo coin/tokens? on: July 23, 2020, 11:39:19 PM
Many of us were well known the Coinmarketcap from where we receive all cryptocurrency like coins and tokens details like on which exchange they listed, what is the 24-hour treading volume, or which platform they based on, etc. These days many new crypto coins and tokens was introducing and listing on many exchanges and It makes a very difficult decision for the investor to choose which coins or tokens should they invest to make some good profit. Many of the new cryptocurrency was makes a good pump in their stating days and after they dump in a very dramatic way. This cause a big loss to the investors and the trust in these types to new coins and tokens was finished. So, the main question is that Is it risky to invest in new crypto coins/tokens? or it is good for a very certain time of investment?

Yes, it is very risky to Invest in new altcoins.
When one want to invest in new cryptocurrencies, he must be aware of the risks involved with them, listing and pumping in the early days of the project is a normal thing but what comes after is what determines the level of seriousness the team has. However, I also agree that it is most times a good investment within a certain time but this certian time is mostly during the early days of listing, could be within a day or two and that's it; but yet, nothing is certain unless the team have shown a high level of activeness right from the first day. In conclusion, new coins/tokens comes with big risks and if one want to invest for quick profit, then let it be within the early days of listing.
352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance lists Maker and Dai tokens amid DeFi boom on: July 23, 2020, 11:28:47 PM
Everyone is trying to tap into what Defi offers as well as its hype, so Binance making such move also confirms it and it won't be long for scammers to start bringing out theirs. However, most people see Defi as a threat to exchanges but I can only say, all exchanges aren't the same and also although it is still kinda early to start judging Defi projects because their boom (or hype) is still hovering everywhere, but  I am of the opinion it will take a while for people to actually understand more about Defi and this will be when all must have settled down. When this is done, the competition will start, for now people are still busy with the hype.

354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fill your bag with caution on: July 20, 2020, 06:05:45 PM
There have been so many posts on the forum suggesting that it is the right time to fill your bag, I quite agree but then, you need to fill your bag with caution. There are so many projects that are dead already but pretending to be alive using the bear season as an excuse for now. The team behind most of them are just looking for a way to dump on you trying to make you understand that they are working round the clock to develop the project, a project they have all the time to develop in the past but could not, now they want to develop, hmmm, what a way to full the people.

The bull run will surely expose all of them, trust me, some of them are smart enough to understand this and that is why they are trying every means to fool making unrealistic promises in order to dump on you.

My candid advice, before you invest in a project ask yourself;
1. What are the benefits of this project to the world and the future?
2. In the next 2 to 3 years, will the working product still be relevant?
3. Who is the targetted audience? Do the targetted audience really need this innovation?

You are totally correct, most people always jump into investing in any project because of hype or from what they heard without first doing their own analysis to ascertain if the project is worth it or not. Your point 2 is very vital, this is because with the way most projects are being created and managed, they might not even last for 1 year after listing, in such projects you start noticing low trading volume etc which then means that your point 3 is very accurate. That is, low trading volume means the users have little or no need for that project and probably might have invested to get their quick profit and that's all. Lastly, it is clear that not all projects are beneficial to anyone nor Important in the crypto space, they were just a means to quick money and nothing more.
355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trying to Sell LEDU on Dcoin!! Fake Volume? on: July 20, 2020, 05:55:17 PM
It is really annoying to witness those kinds of trading experience but that's the way things are on many exchanges, if I recall correctly Bilaxy, P2PB2B etc are on the same list with Dcoin. To clear your curiosity, yes they are using trading bots because there is no other explanation which suits what happened to you. I suggest you do this, if you really want to sell, no matter the price, then choose the created orders yourself, that is, cancel your order, then from the already created buy orders choose any, it will execute, continue that way until you are done.
356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gaming on the blockchain - What do you think? on: July 20, 2020, 05:46:21 PM
The gaming industry is a very huge one which keeps growing with more amazing games being developed and played. However, there is no doubt that blockchain games will make it to the future but it will likely take time because there are already big platforms ruling the Industry which are already built and keeps upgrading. Blockchain games on the other hand are still in their infant stage and I haven't really seen or rather heard of any which is capable of beating those from other big platform. Therefore, my opinion is, we need more improvements on the ones already existing such that with time, it can compete with other platforms. Lastly, I believe blockchain is ready for the gaming industry but needs experienced team for its success.
357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you sure crypto is the future currency? on: July 20, 2020, 05:36:07 PM
I completely agree that crypto will be the currency of the future. Cryptocurrencies are already used all over the world and constantly more and more countries begin to legalize cryptocurrencies and recognize them as official currencies, this is just a matter of time when the whole world will already fully begin to use cryptocurrencies with its full potential.

True it is just a matter of time but yet more advancement or improvements is still needed, and most importantly lesser or no scam projects, because this issue of scam projects tends to drag the crypto space behind. However, when studying the crypto space it is clear that Crypto will have a say in the future because it tends to offer more better alternative to fiat in certain cases. Lastly, not all crypto will make it to the future, in fact only few will be able to pitch their tents hence whatever anyone is doing or investing in any crypto for long term, let due diligence be done first.
358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your take about Tron (TRX) on: July 19, 2020, 06:15:42 PM
For a long time now many people have believed and also come to the understanding that Tron is a hype platform, that is, most of the price increase were all achieved through hype and not really because of their development. Yes, Tron is kind of better in terms of charges and so on, such as withdrawing USDT via TRC chain where the charges is 0 but considering long term holding I wouldn't do that when there are other projects with much better Innovative solutions like ETH.
359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know if the project is fake? on: July 19, 2020, 05:56:52 PM
That's really a good way to spot fake projects, also to add to yours, another way is by checking the partners they list on their website. Checking their social media presence and activeness is also another way, because a project that is proud of their works or ideas won't hesitate to post a thing or two on their social media accounts. In addition, although the team can still steal other people's profile and cover up perfectly, one can still check the team's experiences to ascertain their level of seriousness. Lastly, although it is becoming a norm to overlook ideas and focus on hype ( not all the time though), but checking if the idea is really achievable is also a good way to spot the bad ones out.
360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: I found out from Twitter. on: July 19, 2020, 05:44:23 PM
My opinion is that, twitter should strengthen their security because any website can be hacked and crypto might also be used as a payment options by the hackers; so crypto is not really the problem here although its image is being tarnished here but yet the issue lies with the platform in question. It is also comforting that the issue was taken care of within the shortest time possible. Furthermore, as for those that were victims of scams, it is quite unfortunate and also an eye opener for people to be careful of the type of giveaways they participate in.
