341  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: GUI mining - updated host address for slush's pool on: June 28, 2011, 02:14:22 PM
cool I had tried something similar but couldn't get guiminer to start by just doing a bat file with:

cd c:\guiminer
guiminer.exe

Any chance to add a delayed auto start? I have 3 systems with 6950s in them and no matter what I've tried, if I have guiminer in the startup folder and autostart enabled, the systems freeze (fresh win 7 or vista install 32 or 64bit). if I simply wait about 30 seconds and click start it works fine, but I'd rather have a fully automated setup. I also have 5 systems with 5830s, and they all work just fine with the same type setup and autostart, so it's just something with the 6950s.

345  Other / Beginners & Help / Double Trouble with a Last In Jackpot!!! on: June 25, 2011, 03:01:13 PM
Welcome to Double Trouble with a Jackpot!!!

At the core of this game is the normal double trouble: you pay in an amount (at least 1.0BTC), and when the bank has double that amount, you get paid double what you put in.
To spice things up a bit and hopefully keep the action rolling quickly I'm adding a jackpot.

Jackpot will be split between the last 2 transaction addresses

So, how does the jackpot get its BTC? When you send in BTC, 4% will get taken off the top before it goes to the bank: 2% for the opperator, and 2% for the jackpot. If someone sends in more than 5.0 BTC in a single transaction, then the operator cut will go to the jackpot instead. Larger transactions mean larger jackpots and more winning, so play big!

Minimum bid is 1.0 BTC. Anything below 1.0 BTC will be counted as a donation to the jackpot

Game ends 48 hours after last entry

Disclaimer: This is a game, and there is a chance you will lose the BTC you put in if not enough people behind you play. If you don't like the rules, make a respectful comment, or simply don't play this variation.
Disclaimer 2: I'm human with a family, a monday-friday 8-5 job, and I enjoy sleeping at least 6 hours a day. I will update the spreadsheet and make payouts as often as I can (I'll guarantee at least 4 times a day).

351  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where is Mt Gox's office in Tokyo? on: June 24, 2011, 11:37:03 AM
just let him get the website back up so I can get my money/BTC out before you visit him. I would hate to see anything happen to the person that has my money before I was able to get it back.
352  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: 0/unconfirmed transaction after several days on: June 23, 2011, 08:19:09 PM
similar thing happened to me and several others with a payment from deepbit. Took nearly 19 hours for it to finally come through, but it did with no work being done. AFAIK you just got to wait.

Finally came through almost 19 hours later... longest transaction I've seen.

I just did a manual payout and i't coming though so far with 1/unconfirmed, so it looks like that one should be fine with a few more blocks. my 5.38 sent to 1Kf17qyRuU4AnY4vxMARDmLFuWqocwoGih still isn't showing up on blockexplorer, but my client still sees it at 0/unconfirmed.
355  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~3500 Gh/s Mining Pool] HTTPS,API, instant payouts,LP,+1% for NO INVALID BLOCKS on: June 22, 2011, 11:09:28 AM
I'm also sitting on a transaction with 0 confirmed that my client saw at 4:21 PM EDT yesterday (15 hours ago). it's for 5.38 BTC sent by the automatic payout system.

I understand long blocks and having to wait an hour or two, but 15 hours with no confirmations and plenty of valid blocks being processed is hard to understand.

I think at this point we need to take some form of action to find the problem as it seems clear it isn't just waiting on a long block.
356  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: newegg return question (5830) on: June 21, 2011, 06:13:34 PM
sell it on the forum, or on ebay and you'll get 15% markup instead of paying 15% restocking fee.
357  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MtGox should be arrested on: June 21, 2011, 12:27:15 PM
So you want him to get arrested before the site comes back on line so that now you really have lost what was their? Let him get the bits restored and accessible before trying to accuse him of anything. The whole event hasn't even finished playing out yet until the site comes back online and people can see what is actually in their account.

What is the minimum you would accept for an investment? And would you accept bitcoins as the initial investment?
359  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tradehill -- it's 10:00 EST, where are ya? on: June 20, 2011, 02:54:21 PM
