341  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] NiceHash.com - sell & buy hash rate cloud mining service / multipool on: March 12, 2016, 12:09:30 PM
How do I buy Ethereum mining? I've used NiceHash in the past for Scrypt coins and it was easy: Create an account at a pool, find the required mining information for the pool, enter that info on NiceHash when buying and let it roll.

I'd like to mine some Ethereum in this manner too but damn if I'm not confused right now on how to go about doing that in an easy way like I remember... Cheesy

Some guidance would be much appreciated.

The feature for mining Ethereum is currently only for sellers/providers (miners), and not for buying Ethereum based hashing power. Please see this news for details: https://www.nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=news&id=64

Best regards,
NiceHash.
It seems quite obvious NH isn't allowing buyers because they are keeping all the mined ETH for themselves and paying less than market rate to boot.

@smit why doesn't your site say anything about payouts are halted? Don't you think that is info people would want to know before investing? I'm betting the 7 investors today would have liked to have known Wink

smit if you want to halt your business that is fine, but you have to return people's money. You can't have it both ways. You can't demand trust AND keep people's money. It doesn't work that way in real life. Your actions have simply proven mexxer's reason for warning people.
344  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: [ANN] MinerFarm - Virtual Mining Game for Real Bitcoin on: February 05, 2016, 10:06:01 AM
This game is very difficult to play since it is just soo realistic.  The 10 gh/s miner literally loses you money lol so your pretty much forced to deposit money to get a more efficient miner
incorrect. A 10gh/s can make a small profit if you are in the right pool.

I am curious, what mountains of bitcoin do you recommend for the expert guide? :p
In the 5 to 8 btc range  Shocked You can start the path for less, but to do it right it takes a tons of btc.

You are wrong, pooleth payed bonus 2 times and i believe they will pay 3d bonus very soon.
As I remember it was to be paid the 20th..........didn't get it.

Read here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1284427.msg13531678#msg13531678

The only scammer here is who uses random words and don't read post.

Have a nice day.
My apologies, got paid 3 hours ago. As my post said "As I remember it was to be paid the 20th" and obviously my memory was off.

Alrighty, after a couple of months testing and learning the hard way, I'm ready to offer my MinerFarm strategy guide so you maximize profits and omit making stupid mistakes early in the game.

There are actually 3 guides available and which you buy depends on your investment level since the strategy is different for each.

Novice strategy guide is tailored for small investments or even no investment. Price is .1btc
Pro strategy guide is best suited for medium sized investments up to .5btc. Price is .25btc
Expert strategy guide is for investments over .5btc and beyond. Price is .75btc

The guides tell you exactly what to do and when to do it. I break down some critical math decisions to help guide you, and offer email support as well as chat and PM support. I'll show you how to maximize various bonuses and give insider secrets that vastly improve your profits.

LTC accepted based on the BTC price converted to LTC. Contact me by PM. I'm only selling 3 of each guide  Wink

I think it is total bullshit that my miners take damages but I can't repair them until they drop below a certain level. During that time I lose hashpower. If miners take damage below 100%, why is it I can't repair them when they are at 99.99%? If you have several TH/s the lag time forced on you to repair means you lose several GH/s for days until you can repair. Currently you can't hire a tech to repair until your miner is below 98.95%, which means you are losing a TON of hashpower waiting to repair since damage start immediately. Damage=less hashpower. Less hashpower=less earnings per block.

If damage starts at X% then the ability to repair should start at X%. Either stop damage until 98.95% or allow repairing when damage starts. It isn't rocket science.

354  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: [ANN] MinerFarm - Virtual Mining Game for Real Bitcoin on: January 16, 2016, 03:44:31 PM
Contact Aliser. Hiring the tech should have done most of the repairs. From what I've seen a 1 hour tech will repair ~30% total damage. If your miner didn't get repaired at all, Aliser needs to know about it. But I can't imagine why you would let your miner get that damaged tbh.

Looks clean! I have 1 btc invested in Ore Mine but lost about $40 in BitFactory scam so will start low with this. Some PM me a referral link and I'll join your pool. Edit: no one sent me a link yet.
I sent you a link in PM. It is also in my sig.

How friggin long does the standard benchmark take???!!! It recognized the cards and for the last hour this repeats over and over in the log:   (different times obviously)

[2015-12-21 15:20:03] [INFO] [NICEHASH] SMA get

This is just for the FIRST of several algo's to test and it still has me waiting.

Which GPU do you have?

If you have AMD Pitcairn/Tahiti/Hawaii, then try running manually runme.bat in the "..\bin\sgminer-5-1-0-optimized" folder.

If you have other AMD GPUs, try running manually runme.bat in the "..\bin\sgminer-5-2-1-general" folder.

Do you see sgminer hashing? Can you switch to other algorithms by switching pools - press [P] in the sgminer window?
Benchmark never does anything for me. Running the runme.bat in 5-2-1-general gets sgminer hashing, but it loads "fixed", so I changed their order in the .bat so AS loads instead of fixed. It is hashing x11 right now and the site says that is the best for the moment.
