Don't kid yourself that regulators give a damn about whether cryptos have transparent blockchains or not  Look, all regulators need (look for) is an excuse. Anonymity is the perfect excuse. Up till now, regulators in the US have been pro-bitcoin because law enforcement tells them that transactional crime in crypto is actually easier to track due to the leger. DRK is a different story and can be used as a sound bite or a example of the "crackdown" if it comes. Politics = perception = reality. Lot of assumptions in this post. It doesn't make sense to pass on the money to be made by adding DRK because of paranoid assumptions. You are not hearing the words coming out of my mouth. I own some DRK. I will gladly ride this train. I think its utterly stupid for Finex to add this coin. Sounds like the government has you scared. If everyone thought like that nothing would get done. OMG. Put it to rest. DRK is not even the best anonymous coin in existence. I'm talking strictly dumb business decision on Finex's part. Sorry if I hurt your DRK feelings. I am not a long time trader or anything, but can anyone give me the shirt version of why people sell when the trend is incredibly upward right now?
Is it just profit taking? Likely just a percentage of their holdings to ensure gains?
I see people dumping 150 coins and then watching the price skyrocket over the next 20 minutes. It would drive me insane.

i guess topic op should change to |NOW ON BITFINEX TOO|  NO. Don't jump the gun. Not unless and until Bitfinex confirms it first. This. I wonder how long that's been there? It may be that they planned on listing DRK after it surge to #3 in market cap and subsequent media blitz, but following the recent crash, who knows if that's still the plan. But if this news gains enough traction, they might not have much choice but to go ahead with it even if they weren't planning on it. I'm cautiously optimistic. Developments like this usually spread pretty fast on the internet so I doubt it has been up for long and DRK is heading back towards #3 spot as we speak. If bitfinex is professionally run site I don't think they put that up and mention the coin by name if something wasn't in the works. Being cautiously optimistic is fine, but I am not sure if it is warranted in this case. I hope you're right. I think this would be major validation of DRK as a top-tier coin. Still, I'm not ready to jump on the moon wagon until it's confirmed. Hopefully being greedy when others are fearful will apply here  LOL at the 0.03 and 0.04 sell orders forming on MP |

Lol the crypto community is so goddamn stupid sometimes it hurts. XC, XLB and all the others can attack Darkcoin openly for days but one remark about them and all of a sudden DRK is the devil. Twitter is a marketing channel. DRK should stay above the fray. Why even acknowledge these copycat coins? They will be dead soon enough. Paying attention to them (by tweeting/retweeting about them) just gives them free, undeserved publicity. Attacking them just makes us look insecure. Again, I think that you should be free to say whatever you want on your personal account, but the official account should not comment on other coins, good or bad, period. I don't usually talk much about price, because honestly I don't really care. I'm mostly concerned with functionality and building something with real utility.
However, that's what the forums have been consumed with so here's my take on this. Darkcoin is six months old, last month we went from $0.77 to $15.00. It was literally four weeks long, and what goes up must come down. Crypto currencies grow in this way, it's actually normal. Next we'll form a base somewhere about here and things will get quiet before we make our next move to the upside.
I don't post all of the time because, I work insane amounts of time on Darkcoin. This is my job and when I'm posting I'm not coding. Plus, I'm an introvert and I really like putting on headphones and cranking out some code. It's what I do.
What's next?
Things will relax and I'll start perfecting the hard fork for the masternode payments, then RC3. When we're happy with that, I have contacts now all over the media that would love to do another article and update our progress.
Speaking of things coming down, that goes for X11Coin too. From the looks of it, you trust your money to the decentralized mixer by the way. They're pretty secretive about how it works, but that's what I gather from it. I'd love to get a response. DarkSend is trustless for a reason, you don't want the "XNodes" running off with the money.

Hi everyone, so I could not watch during the blood, I was not tough enough  But great news now, that did not take long. I was preparing for a week without looking for the price  But puh, as fast as the network got fucked up is was working again. Haha same! I am so glad I did not panic sell at 140 LOL. Darkcoin seriously is not just a pump and dump like any other coin! Fuck we were on sky news this week and many other news sources. Darkcoin has a real feature. And we dont need merchant adoption in masses. But it will be used private alot! True DC was on BBC, Max Keiser and the dev is not running away with exchanging his coins lol This panic dumping is just part of the game end of june price will be at the same level it was before the fork, at least. |
