341  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Decentralized Perpetual Swap? Thinking about building this on Ethereum, thoughts on: October 12, 2019, 08:54:48 PM
Hey thinking about adding a decentralized perpetual swap type thing to my decentralized ethereum app, exciteprice.com.

Anyone have any thoughts about this idea?

Could be like the decentralized bitmex?

The idea is good. As I'm dealing with perpetual contracts on a daily basis, I see 2 main issues:

- How would you calculate the funding rates? Sums will be too small to send it even on a daily basis.

- How do you plan to attract volume? Because without good liquidity, your service will die quickly.

If you solve the two problems above, it will become an interesting service.
342  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to save few bucks while withdrawing from exchanges on: October 12, 2019, 07:19:17 PM
You should check XRP and LTC. Usually, they have one of the lowest fees on all exchanges.

But you should make your calculations very carefully.
If you want to convert BTC to alt, withdraw alt and then convert again to BTC, you need to calculate:
- 2x Maker/Taker trading fee
- Withdrawal fee
- The dIfference in exchange rates while your coins arrive at your new wallet/exchange.

Another plus of withdrawing in Alts is speed. You may need hours to get 3/6 confirmations on BTC withdraw while on most alts this is in a matter of minutes.

The withdrawal fee is fixed and could be better for bigger amounts.
343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DLT: Cryptocurrency from Wells Fargo on: October 12, 2019, 05:45:05 PM
Like every big corporation, Wells Fargo is going after expense cut.

IMO JP, Wells Fargo and others are launching their own cryptocurrencies just to get the advantages of the blockchain as a technology and cut costs. They are not after popularizing crypto or anything like this. I count it as a good development just because it's media noise on the subject.
344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: what you think about okcoin exchange ? did you try it before ? on: October 12, 2019, 04:48:12 PM
Is okcoin and okex  same exchange or different exchanges?
What about okcoin exchange ? did you use it before ?

OKcoin is the fiat version of OKex.
While OKex is one of the big names in the exchange markets, fiat operation requires a different licensing, AML and KYC. I guess this is the reason to create another company with US-based licensing, but allowing you to use the same credentials.

I'm using OKex on a daily basis for Futures trading/arbitraging, but if you need a fiat operations, my advice is to choose some of the bigger names like Kraken. Kraken have ultra-cheap and fast SEPA withdraws and 20x higher volume.
345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Trade Cryptos On The Secure CoinZoom Platform on: October 12, 2019, 03:38:03 PM
Your Cards levels, benefits, and requirements are copying very closely Crypto.com program. It's a kind of copy-cat red flag.

"..scheduled for fall of 2019." (https://www.coinzoom.com/early-access/)

We are close to Winter 2019. When do you really plan to start?

"Competitive Pricing" (https://www.coinzoom.com/trading-platform/)

What do you mean by that? You will charge a fixed monthly trading fee or % of every transaction?
It will be interesting if you are adopting the monthly fee business model.
346  Economy / Gambling / Re: Looking for betting script on: October 12, 2019, 02:49:22 PM
Hello i don't know i posted it in the right place or not?
I'm looking for a script to betting football
Also have Toto.
Send me a message if anyone has this script.

If you need to automate your bets at any betting site with an API, implementing your own betting strategy - I could design you a custom bot.
This could work even on sites without APIs, through a FF or Chrome extension but will need a readjustment anytime when the site makes any change in its UI.

If you are after 'money-making football script' - forget it. You will just throw your money away.
347  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who Plays YoPony on Yobit? on: October 11, 2019, 10:43:55 PM
I'm using some of my payments there to play it and it's fun. Kind of unpredictable and still fair in my eyes.

So that's what the yopony is for  Grin
The reason why the live chat is too lively at times. I noticed those pink letters but just ignore them.

Thank you anyway, I might try it too on the next round.

Yeah, and it's much better than Virtual Horses games because here you have human interaction/competition.
I'm enjoying it most when there aren't any real races with a live feed.
348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Lowest trading fees here? on: October 11, 2019, 08:47:41 PM
I just test the Express and Pro version, the platform is nice. I guess you are using bots to make the orderbooks? As you have 3.5BTC orders both on buy/sell with a very decent 0.1% margin.

How strict is your KYC? If you prove solvency, I may move some of my trades on your platform.

For Simple, I've got 404: https://go.coinmetro.com/?ref=page#/exchange/simplex
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Community still believes in Ethereum 2.0 despite scaling challenges on: October 11, 2019, 07:08:26 PM
ETH is in decline and it's keeping value by the inertion from the endless ICO's.

A few months ago I started courses on how to create DAPPs. While it's much more easiest to make a DAPP for Ethereum, the user base /the targeted base/ is moved to Tron and EOS.
IMO ETH 2.0, if ever starts, will not bring the necessary energy to stop this decline.
350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Casinos Have the Lowest House Edge? on: October 11, 2019, 04:51:04 PM
Hey guys, are there any high quality Bitcoin/altcoin casinos out there that have an extremely low house edge? e.g. 1% of below?

Looking to try out some dice strategies in particular (yes, I know they will never work in the long run), but also looking to play other fun and interesting games that have close to no house edge.

Drop your favs below!

If you put in your house edge calculations VIP levels and chance to hit the Jackpots, YOLOdice and Nittogens are my favorites.
Yolodice have a decent rakeback system when you progress on the VIP ladder and Nitro have a great jackpot.

About strategies, anything but Martingale is more fun and could last longer.
IMO playing for fun is the only right attitude.

A notable mention is Stake because you could play many games with a single account.
351  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚽️ Match365 | 💰150BTC inviting bonus 💰 | Well designed Soccer Betting App on: October 11, 2019, 04:00:01 PM
https://www.match365.com/ is currently optimized only for mobile devices and is very ugly on a desktop browser.

Do you plan to run a web-based version of Match365?

Screenshots look good, still I will not download anything Bitcoin related on my phone.
352  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is it possible to create a funding company on: October 11, 2019, 02:09:37 AM
You could try these guys:

https://www.advocatescyprus.com/crypto-forex-broker-licence-lnd/

They claim to be: Experts in Crypto FOREX Broker/ Funds/ Payment Institution Licensing

For the record, I've never use it, but currently, they are actively spamming on Linkedin.
353  Economy / Economics / Re: Stock To Flow Model: Modeling Bitcoin's Value with Scarcity on: October 10, 2019, 11:38:51 PM
I'm always wondered why people are applying some mathematical models, stocks signals and so on on a very very speculative active like Bitcoin?!
It was interesting to read... as fiction. It's pointless. People see a 100M transaction and the price is dropping 10%. By pure speculations.

IMO articles like OP are irrelevant to the Bitcoin and other altcoins where prices are driven by specula and specula only.
354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think Voodoo works in Gambling Games? on: October 07, 2019, 10:47:17 PM
I have always heard of people who win games with voodoo(charms/certain spiritual power).I know Voodoo is everywhere. They are said to use it to get accuracy in their predictions, permutation, casinos, throwing of dice etc while this will help to reduce to the bearest minimum their risks of loosing.
So, Do you also think this is true?

99% of crypto gambling sites are using one or another Provably Fair systems.
Every sane person need to put aside every superstition like Voodoo and play for fun.

If Voodoo is real and can... 'beat' the provably fair system, you should start mining coins cracking hashes Smiley
355  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are FATBTC Users Here? on: February 14, 2019, 09:48:55 PM
I have never traded on FATBTC, but in terms of cryptocurrency and volume tranding, it is quite promising. FATBTC is already listed in CMC https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/fatbtc/

They are not good at all! FATBTC fees are double than normal and their withdraws are slow! I used it to trade OptiToken as the token have some trading volume only there, but I'm not happy at all. After I sold all my OptiToken, I decided to move to Cobinhood, an exchange with ZERO fees!
356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ELYA coin require their members to send photos of 2 IDs in order to make a swap on: February 14, 2019, 09:04:27 PM
This is completely wrong! Luckily, I don't own any ELYA, but they can't exploit their holders like that!
My guess is that they want to 'cut' the circulation supply on some cheap attempt to increase ELYA prices or they are planning some giant scam with IDs. It's wrong in both cases!
357  Economy / Exchanges / Re: New exchange seems legit for me, anybody heard about it? on: February 12, 2019, 06:14:54 PM
With 78M daily volume the exchange should be listed in Coinmarketcap, but it's not.
I'm sticking to exchanges listed in CMC for two reasons: I can make a cross-reference of the traded pair and the exchange have some reputation. Until I see it in CMC, I doesn't have a reason to try it.
358  Other / Off-topic / Re: FOMO 3D - THE UNLIMITED ROUND - 300+ ETH JACKPOT!!! 🔮 💹 🌕 on: February 12, 2019, 06:03:48 PM
How to play this fomo game? I visited the site and I have metamask but I can't understand the whole conceptions and rules. If the jackpot is 300 ETH I need to buy-in with 301 ETH or what? How can the game count me as the last person with a key?
359  Economy / Economics / Re: Are your Bank transactions taxed VAT per transaction? on: February 10, 2019, 01:45:54 PM
Yes, by law banks add VAT even to their transactions and it really sucks. I'm feeling like a tax cow  - the Government is taking 42% of my income in form of social, health and a bunch of other taxes... and then I'm paying VAT of everything else. This is like 65% tax duty on everything from our daily live and let's hope that crypto will change something to better direction.
360  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Better than bitmex(futures Trading) on: February 10, 2019, 01:02:34 PM
In futures trading, they give you a different coin, which costs $0.06 per coin.

https://nexybit.com/

While it's good to see more competitors on the Future trading scene, Nexybit is unusable in its current state, ZERO trading volume.
Even if I want to use other trading platform than Bitmex, I can't find a single reason why to use some noname exchange over Deribit or Okex.
