Dellusional bulls need to let go! Dead cat bounce! Going to zero in less that 24 hours!

Oh, sorry, did we find a bottom? Oh that's a relief, I can return to this forum now.

just a pump and dump
Bearmarket could still be intact

what you gonna do when this pump retraces 100%?
342  Economy / Speculation / Re: Prepare to short like hell in 4 hrs on: January 26, 2015, 10:30:06 AM
and here's the dump

OMG! lol
343  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to the moon? on: January 26, 2015, 10:25:11 AM
bitcoin to the moon, yes. It will be on the moon for 15 minutes and then down, down, down all year long again
344  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is dead! RIP 1/25/15 on: January 26, 2015, 10:14:49 AM
BITCOIN IS DEAD! With it's rapid increase in price it is not stable and can not be used as a measure of wealth because it might be worth more in 1 day. Lets all just pack it up and sell our coins to me.

Seriously though two weeks ago it was dead, this happens with crypto if you're new now this is your lesson, don't have a weak hand a fold. Crypto is new and going to be a lot more valuable in the coming years.

it's gonna dump as fast as it rises, no worries. This is obviously a pump and dump this time. How high will it go? It can go very high, sure. Will it dump hard? 100% sure.  What will be the price after that? Maybe lower than the last low.

So be careful with the hot potatoes you got there.

Welcome, TrueCryptonaire

"1btc for 1uno is the absolute minimum i'd expect mid/longterm."

I can't scoff at this.

My thought is that 'the vault-coin thing' makes the most sense when that coin is the heart of a much larger enterprise run by the core community:

Unobtanium, Un-Ex, Uno/bullion association, a third crypto in a couple of years?, etc. We have talent out the wazoo, and should leverage the daylights out of it!

m

The whole thing now looks like the path of a drunken sailor chasing a greasy pig around a darkened warehouse.

LOL

yeah, well, right now it's cheap again and i don't see why i should move my sellorders down ... if it gets cheaper, i'll buy with the truck  Grin
346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [UNO] Unobtanium Info & Discussion - Current wallet 0.9.5 on: January 26, 2015, 08:25:16 AM

The highest price UNO can climb is around 85 BTC. I am realistic and think it will only go over 1 BTC.

I would slightly disagree  Grin

Uno has much better properties than Bitcoin for being a store of value and also in stability among other things. In a rational market Bitcoin would be dumped and Uno adopted which makes 1 Uno worth 400 btc + in my mind. Problem is only: market isn't always rational and people are indoctrinated for the bitcoin-thing and most people don't question the propaganda.

Bitcoin should be 50$, Uno 20k$+
400:1

sounds extreme, but crypto is extreme

Bitcoin has a bloated blockchain, is volatile, can't hold its value and is incredibly slow. It being #1 coin makes no sense at all. Really the only thing it has going for it is the celebrities and the first mover advantage - in lags behind in every other area.

1btc for 1uno is the absolute minimum i'd expect mid/longterm. It's just a matter of time until the market discovers the true value of Unobtanium.
Below 0.01 is a steal, no matter what the bitcoin price might be.

When the madness dies down Bitcoin gets dumped instantly and hard and long while Uno can hold the value and has extraordinary short bearmarkets. Something like 1year bearmarket isn't even really possible with Uno. So Bitcoin is for the noobs and people who follow the herd, the inflation-lovers.  Tongue

The pros hold Uno  Wink
347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Unobtanium is killing it! on: January 24, 2015, 03:35:55 PM
Please stop these pointless self promotion threads.

it's a party-thread, dude  Tongue

Rising to the big ones now because low gravity material. Network is extremely efficient.
348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Unobtanium is killing it! on: January 24, 2015, 03:33:54 PM
Breaking 0.012 means victory, from 0.015 on it'll be spiraling out. We have a sellorder gap after 0.011/0.012 and i don't know where the next resistance is after that.  Roll Eyes

All coins are gobbled up.
Supply is shrinking fast. With that small inflation there is soon no way to get your hands on any decent amount if you don't have already. It's actually time to hop in.

People not at least holding a few will be left to troll it later because they missed the train. But we've been calling it all the time ... from the bottom up. Not holding any isn't an option. Needs to be in every balanced crypto-portfolio IMO

2.50$ is still a joke for it. Pretty cheap if you ask me.
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [UNO] Unobtanium Info & Discussion - Current wallet 0.9.5 on: January 24, 2015, 03:22:27 PM
Obviously i was too bearish on Bitcoin (went long for a bit yesterday)

Still marketaction doesn't look very healthy. I can't read that bitcoinmarket, really. Could be dumping, could start rally - i have no idea.

Uno looks strong today, i like that.  Smiley

False Alarms? Just want to get sure....

I'm running it long time now. I have Tcp monitor and monitor of svchost aswell as monitor of system processes and shows no suspicous activity. Wallet is OS and should be clean. My antivir marks it as 'bitcoinminer' which should be OK.
351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do I grow My Dogecoins? on: January 24, 2015, 09:52:33 AM

352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [UNO] Unobtanium Info & Discussion - Current wallet 0.9.5 on: January 23, 2015, 03:50:21 PM
I think if you compare the nonstop bleeding in the btc market to the practically not existing bleeding in UNO - why do people even speculate on bitcoin? Nobody is doing the numbers or looking at fundamentals! Everyone just buys the hype, lol.
People looking at the fundamentals of coins are very, very few right now in crypto. Gotta feel a little like a pioneer around here.  Roll Eyes
353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [UNO] Unobtanium Info & Discussion - Current wallet 0.9.5 on: January 23, 2015, 03:41:13 PM

----
Amazed

Bitcoin Cost per Transaction    $8.21
(was as high as $80)
https://blockchain.info/charts/cost-per-transaction
straight from the horses mouth

[reward+fees/time] x SpotPrice$ = Network Co$t /time
per Transaction = Network Co$t /#transactions

#transactions = 88740 per Day
and still costs $8 to send 2 cents ... the HODLer of bitcoin pays btw

ok, this is new

Pretty insane. And will be more at higher prices. There is definately demand for altcoins which are more efficient.

Uno more stable and cheaper to transact aswell as good for holding longterm: can't loose

Later in the game there is going to be real demand for alts and every dev wasting their time with creating scams and shitcoins will regret not to have made something worthwhile. Everyone fell for the propaganda about how irrelevant alts would be. They are not! Only shitcoins are irrelevant. Quality longterm alts (such as Uno) will gain marketshare. There will be demand because Bitcoin could become too expensive to transact later. It's already much more expensive to transact (and to hold  Roll Eyes )

Bitcoin is acting weird. Have i been beartrapped? Or is it just another bulltrap?   Cheesy

Deam Bitcoin! Shorting euro was easier.
355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [UNO] Unobtanium Info & Discussion - Current wallet 0.9.5 on: January 23, 2015, 01:00:32 PM
About 1.5 days of messages gone?  Could have been a lot worse, I guess.

It was fun hanging out Reddit at http://reddit.com/r/unobtanium during the outtage. We've shown that we can transcend Bitcointalk.

I wonder if there's a way to export a thread, or back it up. It would be shame if bct went down permanently one day. A lot of Uno history would be wiped clean.

press 'print' bottom right corner and save page Wink

There is a mirror ar bitcointa.lk too

... but looks like it ended recording last year https://bitcointa.lk/threads/unobtanium-info-discusion-thread.287030/

and google cache could have a backup too (never used it myself)
356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [UNO] Unobtanium Info & Discussion - Current wallet 0.9.5 on: January 23, 2015, 11:41:22 AM
so, given that QE is intended to go on for 'a while' and the currencies of China, Japan, UK, EU, US are destined for the toilet - are you 'all' parking your entire fiat wealth in cryptos/PMs??

Exactly. Just not holding a lot cash right now. Stockmarkets are too high too. If btc just wouldn't suck so much, that would be great  Tongue

359  Economy / Economics / Re: Declining Bitcoin market cap dominance on: January 23, 2015, 06:01:19 AM
Inflation killed it. Can't hold the drink. Too high payout to miners, they control the market. Hashrate wants to be  paid.
No incentive for investors but good incentive for miners (until it's not)
Bitcoin is broken at the fundamentals. Unobtanium deserves more attention as it presents a solution to the problem.

All money which is pumped into bitcoin bleeds out again instantly. That is a problem.

Litecoin is twice as doomed (30% inflation)

Bitcoin needs at 220$ price 5500$ every 10 minutes to run. (blockreward multiplied with marketprice = cost every 10 minutes)
360  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin needs Regulation to save itself from Forex traders! on: January 23, 2015, 05:53:54 AM
The marketcap is so shit because the inflation takes 5500$ from the market at this price every 10 minutes

Just think about it. Bitcoin is broken at the fundamental level with its irrational distribution logic. It's useless as store of value and extremely volatile thanks to 8% inflation right now.

Regulations is not what it needs. What it needs is being replaced with a coin that's capable of maintaining its value.

All money that's pumped in bitcoin bleeds out again immediately.
