Paper yes, but hardware? If my computer get hacked, hacker can access my wallet because it's on my pc.

I meant hardware as in a separate hardware wallet like Trezor. Your computer can be infested and you can still use that without a care in the world.

Yes I know, check my post above you, it's edited. Trezor is good and I like it.
343  Other / Off-topic / Re: DO YOU HAVE 1 BITCOIN? on: July 20, 2015, 12:03:59 PM

oh like that,
whether online wallet as strong as blockchain can be hacked?
and according to what your wallet recommendations ?

Your own computer is more likely to be hacked and a lot harder to make secure. That's why online wallets aren't a great idea.

But if my computer is hacked then no wallet is safe..

Paper and hardware will still do the job.

Paper yes, but hardware? If my computer get hacked, hacker can access my wallet because it's on my pc.

// I'm idiot, I thought you meant desktop not hardware.

User A -> illegal drug money -> tumbler

User B -> illegal Ponzi money -> tumbler

User C -> terrorist financing -> tumbler

Tumble - Tumble - Tumble

Tumbler -> User A = illegal Ponzi money and terrorist financing

Tumbler -> User B = illegal drug money and terrorist financing

Tumbler -> User C = illegal drug money and illegal Ponzi money

User A, B, C -> Coinbase

Coinbase = Sorry we've confiscated your bitcoins because they were blacklisted.

LOL

347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 2.0 & Crowdfunding on: July 20, 2015, 11:40:55 AM
Bitcoin 2.0? Why? Bitcoin 1.0 is enough.
Actually we don't even have Bitcoin 1.0. These coins claiming to be 'Bitcoin 2.0' are just using that as a marketing scheme to promote themselves. They offer nothing of real value, nor are they ever going to take a good market share.
I guess I don't have anything against crowdfunding Bitcoin related projects, however doing so for coins is not my preference. We have enough coins as it is, and if someone was actually trying to make something better they would not ask for money. Let me remind you that satoshi did not ask for funds and whatnot.

You are right, but when I say Bitcoin 1.0 I mean normal Bitcoin. I just said it because it sounds good compared to Bitcoin 2.0

If you want to stay anonymous with transactions use http://bitmixer.io and always make sure you are on BITmixer not BTCmixer.
Bitcoin Mixing can help you to achieve high level of anonymity , you send your money to an anonymous service and, if they are well-intentioned, they will send you someone else's tainted coins to you.

Through Mixing is is really good way but high volume mixing of bitcoins is Dangerous as the bixing company can Scam you , moreover Bitcoin transaction is irreversible.

Bitmixer.io won't scam anyone ( If they don't get hacked ) I transacted over 10 BTC in one TX and everything went well. I tried to find the sending address through my final transaction and I wasn't able to do it.

There's no more stress test, which is nice. I hope the guy who did it will share some info with us.

Website is a bit laggy for me, but only in Chrome, Firefox is ok.

yeah I have the same problem but maybe you should do as hex said
I have a bad connection , but when I use the lite version on Firefox all go cool , Chrome still laggy here even if I use the lite mode
I don't know what is the exact problem with chrome , but yeah firefox works better maybe it's something related to extensions or add-ons  Huh

Lite version is going well. My only extension in Chrome and Firefox is AdBlock.

356  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to earn Bitcoins? on: July 20, 2015, 10:44:06 AM
Just join any signature campaign, you can earn a lot. My target is to get 0.4 BTC this week from mine signature. Hope I will find time for posting.
0.4 Bitcoins is a lot, considering it's all from a signature campaign. Gee, being a Hero member or even Legendary member is awesome! Another person I know, who is a Hero member as well, earns a flat rate of 0.1 Bitcoins a month. So your campaign pays per post, and that's awesome when you find time for posting!

Check out "Amph", he gets 0.5 every week! I need something around 400 posts and I want to keep them contructive. BIT-X campaign is the best one, because there's no minimum or maximum posts limit. Fixed monthly campaign are for people without much time. This will be my summer job!

So thats 150$ / week to spam the forum? With 400-500 posts, its a bit insane, but it can be a job too...

doesnt matter if you post 1000+ per week here as long as long post is constructive and not out of topic. posting here a lot isnt really insane, some users here have no RL work/job so they spend a lot of time trying to make some bucks here

"Some bucks"? Oh man, if 0.5 BTC weekly means some bucks then I don't know where you live.

I don't know why are people still saying that Bitcoin is too complicated. It took me about 2 days of using it to learn everything and start using Bitcoin on 100%. You just need to want.
It's true bitcoin is complicate. Not all of people want to spend 2 days to learn a new and unnecessary thins.

I didn't spent 2 days with learnings, I learned it by using it. I bought coins, used faucets, downloaded wallets, tried gambling and pew, I know how Bitcoin works, how to use it and even more!
359  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: July 20, 2015, 10:34:14 AM

fully agree with OP.  the heading is a little bit confusing, hence the debate.  the point is if (when) BTC goes up in value then at the same time it is more likely to become a common payment method.  So no don't sell BTC for fiat, use BTC directly to buy goods  Smiley

What if I sell just $5 and get fiat so I can buy a cake? I will still have my BTC and a cake.

But what if that BTC you converted would be worth 10 cakes in a year? Than it would ve been better to use your fiat which would buy you only 99/100th of a cake next year (assuming 1% inflation ;P).

But if I buy a cake with BTC, and if BTC would be worth 10 times I still paid the same amount. The point is to keep majority of BTC.
