No no, meglio di no.

Atalanta - Udinese 2-0
Juventus - Empoli 1-1
Milan - Bologna 2-2

These are the verdicts of this Saturday, I would say that Inter can be considered lucky, both Juventus and Milan have drawn and have not put pressure on Inter that he has to play 2 matches still including the recovery of the match against Atalanta.
Winning against Fiorentina he would return to the top of the ranking with still 1 game to play
346  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 27, 2024, 09:53:46 PM
Juventus and Milan finished their respective games in a tie, there were two matches on the very easy paper and had to put pressure on Inter which currently has 2 less games. I hope in an Inter victory against Fiorentina even if it will be very difficult.

The odds are already all against Napoli in this match and this can be evident to their performance this season which has been very poor. I do forget that this was the team that win the Scudetto last season and they are now no anywhere close to the league title and not also currently in the top four of the standings. This match is quite still unpredictable and won’t chose one team ahead of the other to be the winner in this game. It is a game of luck and also a game of strategies, only the team that employ the best method against their opponent will make it in this game.

I agree that it is not easy to predict this match but Lazio as the host can take advantage which means Lazio has a better chance than Napoli. Besides Napoli may play without Osimhen which means their goal activity also decreases and maybe this is the reason for the gambling market to provide more odds for Lazio. Do you pay attention to how Lazio played in the last 5 matches? Lazio won 4 of their last 5 matches and I am sure this will have an impact on the confidence of the players.

Lazio - Napoli will be a rather hard-fought match, both are returning from defeats from the Italian Super Cup and both will want to win this important match so as not to lose further ground from the places that give access to the next Champions League. On a tactical level I believe that Napoli are in better shape than Lazio, but they play at Lazio's home ground and this could weigh heavily on the final result

It looks like Mourinho's next address is already clear.  Smiley  It is speculated to be Napoli as it is stated on the source below.

The source: Goal.com

Mourinho is really likely to return to the Serie A once again these days. There has been a meeting which is expected to take place between Mourinho and Napoli chairman De Laurentiis. Is there anyone who knows about if this meeting happened already or not?

It looks like Mazzarri won't be staying at Napoli much longer either just as Rudi Garcia. I found this manager change unnecessary in the first place. What did they see in Mazzarri anyway? If Mourinho or some other successful manager was brought to Rudi Garcia's place then I would have found it logical. But this was a move made in a rush which didn't have good results for them.  Sad

at the moment these are just speculations, I also read this news
as I know very well that Mazzarri is not a coach that the president likes, so both are just ferrying Napoli into next season in a difficult moment
It could be Jose Mourinho, but there is no confirmation, at moment

Mazzarri will be Napoli's coach until the end of the season, this is what we concretely know so far, what will happen after the end of the championship will certainly be based on the results obtained by Walter Mazzarri. It's difficult to say whether he will be next year's coach or whether Mourinho will take his place and as you say it's just speculation for the moment.
obviously Mourinho joining Napoli would be great news for Serie A even if in my opinion he is not the right coach for this team
350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 26, 2024, 01:41:56 PM

I agree with you! the first four teams in the Premier League have arithmetically the same chances and ability to win the Premier League, but in my opinion Arsenal and Aston Villa are the ones who have the least chance on a tactical level and we will hardly see them fighting for first place but rather for get a place in the Champions League for next year
I think Aston Villa is one of the strongest teams tactically. They reached a different level with Unai Emery. I don't think anyone expected Aston Villa to be in this ranking at the beginning of the season. Aston Villa is on a different level with Emery. That's why, even though they are considered the lowest in terms of squad quality, they work with a tactical genius. I think they have the best tactical advantage.

obviously the work done by Unai Emery was of great value but despite this I don't see her ready to win the Premier League yet! Aston Villa was not built to win the championship but to get a pass to the Champions League and they are currently in line with this objective, if they manage to finish in first position I think we can call it a miracle like what happened to Leicester a few years ago
351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Lega Serie A 🇮🇹 (Italian League) Prediction Thread 2023/2024⚽ on: January 26, 2024, 01:23:20 PM
Are the rumors about Mourinho have already a deal with Napoli real ? I found this hard to believe because first of all Napoli and As.Roma fans really don't like each other and Mourinho will forever be an enemy of As.Roma no matter what he did for the club. That's why , I do hope he will find another team and he won't accept Napoli offer.

Also , this rumors are just from twitter and social media in general so for now I won't bother to actually believe them.

I have not seen any news recently related to Jose Mourinho getting a job offered to him from any of the Italian football clubs. He has also decided not to take rush with his next move to another club and that is exacehat should be done for him to take some good time off the football World and work on himself.
These two teams hating themselves will not stop him from getting a job from Napoli if the wages for him are enough and okay. They just have to provide the names he can use to win them tittles. For now Napoli are still right behind Walter Mazzari they are not going to sack him this season
Morinho should just go on an holiday trip to have some weeks off,he needs to cool himself and have a refreshed memory because it seems it's not just favouring him.He has not walked out in good terms from any club,he is always being sacked, and that doesn't speak good of him.I believe this time around,it might be difficult for him to get a job because  the record he has had is really bad and might make him not to get a coaching job.If I were him,I will retire from coaching and turn to sport analysis, this is what he can do very well without being criticised and questioned.Meanwhile,Roma won their first match with their new manager, meaning that the players are in support of Morinho's sack.

he will definitely go to work in Saudi Arabia, where everyone is going thanks to the millionaire salaries
He had already been called to work there in the past, but while working with Roma he decided to say no
from this point of view he was a professional

I think you're right, now Mourinho has to go to the Arab Emirates and work under a rich and billion-dollar employment contract before leaving the world of football and retiring, the special one is starting to get old, so I think the next year we will see him in that beautiful championship that everyone admires! obviously I am joking! no one admires the Saudi pro league

Massimiliano Allegri in an interview a few days ago declared that Juventus' number one objective is to qualify for the Champions League, but it is a veiled declaration! it's obvious that Juventus wants to win the scudetto and the performances don't lie! it will be a duel until the end with Inter
Juventus' ambition to win the Scudetto is indeed very big. Because this is indeed a matter of great pride and the first step to enter UCL. However, fighting for the Scudetto will not be easy for Juventus. The reason is, Inter will most likely soon overtake Juventus at the top of the standings. The reason is that Inter also of course has a strong desire to be at the top of the standings and win the Scudetto. For this reason, Inter will certainly not waste the opportunity when they face Fiorentina next Monday. Because, it would be a good scheme for Inter Milan if they could beat Fiorentina and then become top of the standings. Then in the match against Juventus, if Inter can win, it is very likely that Inter will definitely be stronger at the top of the standings. So that's a good scheme for Inter if they want to be strong in first place in Serie A. But that's just a scheme, so we'll see the reality later.

The reason is that Fiorentina is also not an easy opponent for Inter, so the possibility of Inter losing is not small. For this reason, Juventus also has a big chance of remaining at the top and it would be a good scheme if, for example, Inter loses to Fiorentina and then Juventus can beat Inter in the next match. Because even though it's difficult, that's the way to get the Scudetto. Because if for example Juventus only wanted to enter the UCL, I think that would be quite easy. Because Juventus is used to being a regular customer of Serie A clubs who enter the Champions League. Although in last season's UCL Juventus failed to enter. But this season it seems, it won't be too difficult for Juventus to break into the UCL.

Juventus will fight until the end to win the scudetto, I'm more than sure of it. Obviously Inter will not stand by and have the ambition of winning the second star to display on the club's crest next year. surely on February 4th, the day on which the big match and Italian derby will be played, we would be certain of who will be able to win the scudetto
353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 25, 2024, 07:59:44 PM
Regardless of the narrow or big wins that Juventus has achieved since the start of the season, it must be admitted that Juventus' performance this season is quite well organized in all areas and they are also quite consistent, I don't see any empty gaps in the current Juventsu team and regarding line criticism Juventus' lack of sharpness is illogical because there is no way they can win the match if their front line performance is poor.
In terms of quality and consistency, the Juventus and Inter Milan teams are quite equal at the moment and indeed in terms of the percentage of winning the Scudetto this season, I also think that both teams still have the same chance.
Juventus enchanched performance have brought good results to Turin, a basic starting for the Old Lady. A squad that lacks excellent chemistry will not improve. With consistency implemented for Juventus, we can see the big picture of these clubs' wins and losses. Juventus head coach Massimiliano Allegri's capacity is undeniable, as seen by the Bianconeri's outstanding accomplishments this season. This year, they are competing for the scudetto, although there are other important competitions Report Phrase to compete in than the league title.

Since Mohammed salah will not be playing the match Arsenal has a better chance of wining the match because lately Arsenal seem to have realized there mistakes and they have been improving seriously, and also for Liverpool to have draw there match against Fulham I think Arsenal is going to win them.

The absence of Mohammed Salah hasn't guaranteed Arsenal a win in their match against Liverpool. Even though as Salah hasn't played for two or three games, Liverpool was still good enough. Having Salah back could make the team stronger, but it doesn't mean he does 50% of the team's work.

If Arsenal doesn't play well against Liverpool, they might lose the game. Since it's Arsenal's home game, they might appear strong and aim to maintain a good record. The motivation from winning 5-0 against Crystal Palace could boost their confidence. However, the match will be interesting because Liverpool won't want to miss the chance of being at the top of the table. Overall, the outcome is uncertain, and both teams will give their best to secure a victory.
Liverpool still have many players that Klopp can rely on even if Salah is absent Liverpool's performance will remain the same as previous performances, it's just that now Arsenal's opponents will certainly be a little tougher but Liverpool will still try to win to stay in the Premier League standings.

Even though Arsenal won big against Crystal Palace, it is not certain that they will win only for motivation, it is natural because the team with the victory will definitely have confidence, but overall the Liverpool squad is still fine even though this is away they still have the potential to win.

Because this match is still long and must face Chelsea first before Arsenal.

I know we are one match away, but it is so fascinating to see Juventus, my beloved team, in first place Cheesy

Lillominato89 doesnt answer me, I think for good luck

Lillominato89 give it a shot if you are there, in the end we are always stuck at the same result

well, out of good luck, I wouldn't answer, but it still wouldn't change the future result of this game to be recovered. so yes, Juventus is now in the lead and 99% are now Italian champions 😉
The game to recover is a tough game! Furthermore, Inter has many more commitments than Juventus

we can't say either good or bad about a coach if two or three months don't pass first
certainly from an "empathetic" point of view the players and fans took it well, and this is already a step forward
then we'll see the rest

Roma certainly saves some money now

I don't think that Roma will save any money now after the dismissal of Josè Mourinho, as long as the contract is valid Roma will have to pay his salary and let's not forget that he was the second highest paid coach in Italy after Allegri. I'm sure though that Daniele de Rossi won't make JM regret it, but it takes time to say that
